Was not able to stay there. Minute we walked into main entrance, suddenly couldn't breathe, coughing, choking. Foul horrible smell in air in lobby. Very dirty carpets, etc. Couldn't even go to our room, we had to run outside. Very bad unclean motel. Every motel in area was booked for convention at Dow Event Center. Now know why this place had so many rooms available that weekend. Took us till 10pm to find a room elsewhere and ended up staying in a motel in Midland 20 mins away.

My husband and I has been coming here for 2 years, we've always had a nice experience. The manager knows us when we come in, all of a sudden we're being accused of a OLD crack in the window. You can look at the window and see its old. We stayed 2 nights first night the heater fell apart and they didn't fix it. I'm very disappointed how we were treated and we will not be back. P. S. They held our deposit and I have pictures of the heater.

My sister and I were in Saginaw for 4 days after driving from Oregon to be with our mother in the hospital at Covenant. We had no idea from day to day if we would need a room. The staff was kind and understanding and always had a room for us. They were very attentive to our needs and delivered what we needed to the door. The night desk clerk said we had enough to worry about and was happy to help. This Super 8 is rundown some but its clean. I give it 4 stars for its staff. Our rooms didnt have any issues we couldnt live with. Having said that, its time for this super 8 to have a major face lift.

If I could have rated lower I would. Stayed last night for a bachelorette party. Just wanted a cheapish place to crash after going out with the girls. Shouldn't have been to much to ask for, right? Woke up this morning and from my view in bed I could see up into the lamp shade by the bed and noticed what appeared to be blood stains. In my past experiences at hotels, lamp shades are not your usual go-to areas to check for cleanliness. My focus is mattress, bedding, bathrooms, and occasionally the microwave if I plan on using it. So I skipped the lampshade in my walk-through. Turns out, huge mistake. I brought up my complaint upon check out this morning to the manager and received absolutely no apology or concern what-so-ever as to the blood splatters being found. Instead I was disregarded and met with accusations of too many people spending the night (3 people in a 4 person room seems fair to me? ) and told complaints had been made that we'd been smoking weed. I offered to take a drug test on the spot and he instantly got more defensive. My major complaint was his unconcerned reaction to my even bringing up blood splatters being in there in the first place. As if this sort of thing happens regularly in the hotel. I felt attacked and belittled like my complaint was not serious while possible disease ridden blood was chilling in that room. In this instance, pay for what you get. I wish I could attach a picture of the lampshade in this review.

Those 2 stars are because the guy work the front desk last night seemed friendly enough. And the morning apple juice was delicious. HOWEVER… I normally love Super 8's but not this one. The sheets were clean and the bed was nice. But there was no light bulb in the bedside lamp (that's odd) and there was some suspicious and unsettling colored "stuff" smudge on the wall in front of the toilet near the toilet paper holder and around the light switch panel in the bathroom… (gross) but it gets better. There was a giant hole in the hole with a crack and sealing the crack was, a band-aid. (REPULSIVE) … Now, my own fault here I should have immediately complained but having come over from being awake for 2 days at the local Hospital dealing with a family emergency and tramatic loss. I chose sleep. And called the Super 8's 800 number hoping that would quicker resolve the situation. But. Nope. Wait a week she says. Awesome. Thanks I'll do that, just like I had to wait on my shower in my semi dark $70 room. But; the juice was good!

Horrible customer service! Rooms was in an awful state. Staff was rude and inconsiderate. Housekeeping was awful, couldn't even get towels or an extra blanket. Don't stay here.

Super shady. Got asked to leave a night early of my already paid for weekly stay because they " needed room for new guest" and I left my medication in my room and instantly realized it and ran back in for it after checking out. The children of the owners (teenagers maybe young adults they appear to be) were cleaning the room and definitely stole it, acting like they had no clue what medication even meant. Terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Good clean room. Minor repair needed. But it served its purpose.

Overall stay was pleasant enough. Staff was very hospitable. Room had trash under the bed. Then they had the nerve to refuse to give my deposit back because my fiance put our belongings in the vehicle and come back in to check out. Said you can't leave the premises. How is that leaving the premises? The building maybe and it should have been explained before hand! Won't be staying here again!

Great beds. Clean. Bathrooms could be updated though. Otherwise good.

My stay was pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. My neighbors upstairs were a little loud, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. The bathroom was a little small, but I made it work. It is a great location for out of towners.

Hotel in right off the freeway. Great location. The room was clean, however, did have a smoke smell. Would still stay again.

The front desk worker kept following me around and peeking around corners outside when I was smoking cigarettes… Very uncomfortable, felt like I was some criminal.

Rooms were smelly. Air conditioning didnt work. Stained sheets. Body fluids on bed skirts. There was still food in the fridge from previous clients. The bathroom sinks were burned with what looked like cigarettes on the counter tops. The shower was so dirty it had black stains. The staff was rude. Refused to return the room charge after being moved from two diffrent rooms stating that we "used them"… we were in the two different rooms less than a half hour total. The windows were full of finger prints and all the surfaces had dust in them. Paint was peeling off walls. Funiture was shabby and poorly maintained. The bed in our second room was so broke down that there was at least a 3 inch divet in each side and no boxspring support. Worst customer expirence in my life. Never go there.

Not to bad. Wish I could of got my points but beings my company card not in my name I couldnt receive mypoints.

Nice quiet location, but close to restaurants and shopping. Clean, but bathroom fixtures are old, worn and should be replaced soon. Freindly staff.

No towels in the room, Dingy, nasty tub was stained there was holes in the walls they was spiders in the room, the staff was rude … the rooms are not clean it was the most uncomfortable stay In life.

Overall everything looked nice enough, but it was a little loud and there were some stains on the sheets. Breakfast wasn't anything spectacular, but having a waffle maker was better than I expected.

The rooms weren't overly clean. Smelled heavily of cigarettes even though it was non smoking.

Worn down. Asked for and was promised an extra pillow which was never given.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed at! We reserved for handicapped accessibility. The ramp was about 15 feet long and then took a 180 turn for another 15 feet before 90 degrees into the corridor with a turn very close for wheelchair. The room had NO fridge, NO microwave, NO coffeemaker, NO luggage rack, NO directory. There were all of 2 disposable paper cups. The coat shelf was so close to the bed that you hit your head on it when getting up. There was only one chair in the room, a low, soft overstuffed deal that was unusable for us. Because the desk was used for luggage—no place else—had to sit on the bed to use computers; very unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. I dropped something and when I picked it up noticed a half smoked cigar under the bed. The sink had many deep cracks in the basin, there was no bracket to hold the shower head, making showering a 2 person operation. A note taped to the vending machine—outside—said to ask at the front desk if you wanted a soda. Breakfast was very poor, toast or cold cereal. The juice machine had only apple juice, which I cannot drink and the trough had a layer of dried juice in it. There were notes posted all over the breakfast area that it was strictly forbidden to take food to your room. Ha! Navigating the ramp in and out was too much, so I did take a few pieces of toast to the room. And as we checked out, was asked if we had a nice stay!?

Sets away from main streets, love the quiet and not far from a restaurant.

Rooms were simple but clean & hotel was quiet & peaceful.

My experience was as expected for the price. The room was adequate. Not many amenities. The staff was friendly.

I travel for a living and stay in hotels 5 nights a week. Super 8 in Saginaw is nicer than rooms I have paid twice as much for. Rooms cleaned well daily. All of the appliances in good, clean condition. The staff is friendly and always happy to go out of the way to make sure your comfortable. Anytime Ive had any problems they were taken care of promptly with a good attitude. I honestly would (and have) recommend this hotel to anyone.

The entire place smelled like moth balls. The tub had hairs in it and there was a random sock under the bed. Could only imagine what else wasnt cleaned.
