They went in our room after we put a do not disturb sign out because we didn't want them in our room and then they have in ruls books in room and on sign at desk that pets are allowed and its 10 dollars a night but when I go to do that oh we don't allow cats that's not what the sign says it says pets I told them they need to specifie. But really pissed that they went in our room when we had the do not disturb sign up.

We had to make our reservation online to get the price quoted online. Online said there was no fee for pets at this location, but upon arriving we were told there was a a fee, we told them that online it said there was not a fee, but they were adamant that there was a pet fee. The room was clean, the breakfast served was good and filling. We were happy with everything except for the fact that we had to pay a cash fee on top of what we paid online for the room to have our pets in there even though it was advertised that there was no pet fee.

Clean, comfortable, friendly. Loads of pillows! (I love lots of pillows. ) The key cards can be kinda sensitive, satin purse lining seemed like the only thing I can think of that kept wiping my roommates door key. Hotel staff were fantastic about fixing it, but we're all stumped on why it was happening. Another friend staying across the hall had an issue with what turned out to be coffee grounds under the edge of the bed (she's kinda nervous about some things) and they cheerfully addressed the issue giving her another room and letting us know what the substance turned out to be. (We were all baffled as to how the grounds had even gotten there in the first place, but they were grateful for the opportunity to correct the probem. My friend is a thorough inspection kind of gal ;) )

Had to truncate a days travel due to a nasty storm, so we grabbed a room here. Place is just kinda ok. I have traveled a LOT, stayed in many hundreds of hotels in my life, and it seems I've been disappointed with every Days Inn I have encountered. The price is usually only slightly lower than the top notch joints, with the experience being a significant drop off. Alas, this Inn is no exception. It's just way past whatever prime it had. Outdated, worn, noisy, and cheapie feeling. It wasn't exceptionally clean in areas either, kinda but not really. But breakfast was decent and well maintained, we got rested, and hey, in outta the storm.

I am so impressed with the AMAZING customer service at this place! That is so hard to find anymore! That had a great free breakfast as well, and the owner went around to EVERY table to see if he could get anything for us, Wow is all I can say! We will be staying here, if we're back in Waterloo!

I guess it all comes down to your expectations. My wife and I expected to have a room that did not reek of cigarette smoke despite the non-smoking signs all over. We were told there were no extra pillows at the front desk. We asked for an extra blanket for our kid on the pullout and were given a thin little throw. And last but certainly not least we found a dirty pair of socks between the mattress and box spring when checking for bed bugs. No bedbugs though.

It's ok, the fire alarm was hanging by the wires from the ceiling, and they could cut some branches back from the entrance but was cheap and couldn't find anything closer.

Parking is the only minus as the lot is in disrepair. Clean and quiet.

Worse mattress I have ever selpt on! Room was just average otherwise. Would not recommend!

Had a great stay. Nice, clean, quiet hotel. I had no issued at all and the Continental breakfast was very suitable.

Service was great. Staff was kind. Over all great place to visit.

Room and bed were comfortable. Receptionist was pleasant. But overall feel was drab. For some reason the construction of the building causes even low winds to make this terrible moaning sound (at least near room 211). Also the breakfast was a joke. It sounds good on paper but turned out to include moldy baggels, rotten fruit (I've attached some pictures), and instant oatmeal packs with no hot water out for us to actually make the oatmeal :)

Good breakfast, small indoor pool. All rooms are non-smoking which is nice.

While the rooms are big and the beds are comfortable, the rest of my experience was not good. The receptionist wasn't too friendly and seemed to be annoyed with us when we asked for clarification as to where our room was located. The breakfast in the morning was decent, but the sausage gravy and the sausage links were cold. I also didn't see anyone attending to the breakfast area. The trash can were overflowing.

Nice and clean. The rooms are real nice and very comfortable. The staff are real professional. Great place to stay. Also above all good security.

I think that the location is some what difficult to get to. The facade is very nice so that is nice. The staff appears to be reasonable and polite. What brings it down is the quality of the rooms. I feel like they could have revovated them in order to ensure the guess happiness. But the price is quite reasonable. Right on man!

A little outdated but not the worst we have stayed in.

We stayed at the Days Inn located in Waterloo Ia. A+ service and the staff was amazing. Tyler was very pleasant. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite with a fireplace ND everything was nice and clean. I slept like a baby in the comfy king size bed. Thanks again Tyler for making it a pleasant home away from home.

Very nice beds and the showers are large and accommodating of tall people.

Wonderful service Tyler was great. Love the breakfast. Rooms very clean. Pool was not large but great. Kids loved it. Manager was working Sunday, I did not see any hotel do what he did. He was getting everyone and if you were done with breakfast he would talk your plates, offer coffee and juice or if he can get anything else for you. I was very happy, thank you for great experience, will be back.

Stayed at the Days Inn and suites in waterloo ia for work. Hotel was decent and staff was pretty friendly and nice. Lots of places to eat close by. Room was ok the furniture was a little dinged up and TV was kind of small but the bathrooms have a great heat lamp.

Clean and quiet. Nice place to stay.

Had to book a room last minute late at night due to a snowstorm, they were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable.

The room price is cheap and nice. The room is big ans the bed are comfortable. The staff are cool. The breakfast was okay. No noisy neighbours either. And they are packed.

BED BUG INFESTATION***** I stayed in Room 111 and by the end of my first week, I woke up to small bug bites all over my body. I was so disgusted and disappointed that I was bitten through the night by bugs so tiny it is hard to see with the naked eye. I was in town for work for 2 weeks working for a major healthcare system. Luckily, a provider that I was working for was able to properly diagnose me and advise me as to how to handle the itchy, red, risen bites. When I contacted the hotel to inform them of their unwanted guest, they very nonchalantly gave me a handicap accessible room (I am not handicap) and simply said sorry and that their maintenance had not found anything resembling bed bugs in the room. The first night in my new room (149) as I lay in bed, I found what I now know to be a BED BUG! Sadly, the original room where I was viciously attacked in my sleep was re-rented the very next day. I do not recommend anyone staying in this 2 star hotel. Certainly wasn't my choice, nor would I have ever! Stay Away!

The reservation call center is not in the US, normally I could care less, but I couldn't understand them well at all.

The hotel was great! Clean, updated, good service. We were in town for UNI overseas recruiting fair. It was less than 10 mins from convention center. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I originally had a reservation an hour away at a different hotel chain, but the room had been so awful that I couldn't stay there. There were no empty hotel rooms around. I called this hotel and talked to the owner who was very helpful. I was somewhat worried since I couldn't help but wonder why they were the only ones with rooms. The hotel looks like it has been completely remodeled since the pictures were added to this site. The rooms were clean and the furnishings looked brand new. Everything was in good repair. There was a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. The hotel was full, but I didn't hear any noise at night and in the morning there was an employee who was constantly replenishing the breakfast foods.

Room was just as pictured on the website. Service was great and the beds were the best I have slept in, in a long time. Thanks for making our wedding night memorable! We will be back again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
