It is a nice hotel in a convenient area. The rooms are basic but they offer a pretty good breakfast with hot and cold foods. They also have a pool and gym however I did not get to use.

Great rooms, nice setup. Comfortable beds and spacious areas. Awesome breakfast setup, excellent food. Price range is very affordable for any budget. Nice and courteous staff.

This is a very clean Hotel. I travel as a salesman every week and it's nice to know that there is a hotel that offers a top notch breakfast and a comfy bed. Their customer service is great too! Thanks Ray.

Our stay here was great. We checked in around midnight because we have been driving and the front desk staff was nice and helpful. Our room was a decent size and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was the bathroom door hinge was broken, so the door got stuck when you slammed it shut or it wouldn't shut at all. The AC and heat worked, and the shower was a nice size, and had good water pressure. There were plenty of options at the breakfast: cereal, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. When checking out, the front desk staff also gave us treats for our drive. Wonderful staff. Pets welcome ($25 a night charge). Pool. Buisness Center.

Bathtub was weirdly bowed in. Bed was okay. A/C lies to you. People were nice. Food was ok. No cleanliness issues. Water kinda mineralized but not super bad.

Come here every year for USA wrestling tourney. 15mins from UNI and they have decent hot bfast and not some damn muffins like some 2 and 2half star joints. Will be back. Oh and clean and kept up rooms! Who needs an 3 or 3and half star for price of this hidden deal in Waterloo. Keep up good work!

I had a good experience overall. The room was clean and as advertised. The TV was small, and the bathtub drain could not be closed, also the shirt hanger off the back of the bathroom door was loose. All very minor things. The downstairs breakfast coffee was good but the to-go lids do not seem to fit the cups. I'm pointing these out not so much as serious problems to the review but as minor annoyances that the staff can help address. Thanks!

The bed and the pillows were nice. Room was warm. Too warm even after I turned the heater down to 62. But some people may like to sleep in a warm room. The bathroom door didn't shut because the wall was crooked. People upstairs from us sounded like a heard of elephants every time they moved. Nice hot breakfast. Nice people. For the price I would definitely stay again.

Location was great, right next to the highway. Room was nice. I was not informed until I got there that dogs were not allowed to be in the room without an adult, despite me saying multiple times on the phone that I had a dog and I would be at a wedding all day one of the days which is why I needed a second night, so the dog had a place to be while I was at the wedding.

I stayed here for a week on a business trip and enjoyed my stay very much. The free breakfasts were great and the staff was excellent. The indoor pool was great too! Great location near the interstate with plenty of restaurants close by. The free Wi-Fi worked great and was plenty fast.

We arrived Thanksgiving day after our meal. Jay promptlychecked us in and we settled in. Later in evenibg we wanted to play a few games and enjoy a lighter dinner and they allowed us to use a couple of tables in breakfast area. It was at that Shay was working and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. And at breakfast the manager was assisting and inquiring about our stay at 8am in the morning. The service and friendliness of the staff alone is enough reason for me to choose this hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. Our family was very pleased.

Good room. I enjoyed the breakfast. Toliet seat opening too large. Narrow seat width was problem for my 92yr old mother inlaw. Likely problematic for little children too.

Room was clean. Breakfast food very good. Staff friendly, helpful, professional. Problem: 92 year old handicapped mother traveling with us. Toilet way too short and no hand rails to assist with getting up and down toilet. Beds could be more comfortable.

Hotel was clean and friendly. Little loud at night in the hallways. Breakfast was decent. Pool looked clean near a lot of places for food.

We stayed there on June 3rd, 2017 and had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience! Found bed bugs and ended up taking them home in our luggage and still fighting them. The manager AND OWNER said they would take care of it then hired some independent "insurance adjuster" who was so indescribably inhuman in her practices it's hard t put into words… anyways — they saw the evidence — covered it up and won't take car of the problem they caused through their negligence. Pull up your mattress cover before you unpack — before you pay inspect the room very, very thoroughly for your own good…

I would not go back to this hotel unless it's the only one within budget. Check-in staff was friendly, told me all the details (breakfast time, gym & pool time, etc), and gave me a bottle of water. BUT I was given the wrong room key upon check-in and the room was already occupied — luckily the occupant was fully clothed and just sitting watching TV when I barged in! I was given a new key with some confusion over what I had booked (king bed vs two doubles), and got into my room fine. The rooms are nothing special, bathroom is outdated, and bathtub dripped water. AC worked fine and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sub-par: the eggs were rubbery and they had the same thing both mornings (biscuits, turkey sausage, "over easy" eggs), and the "hot" water for tea and oatmeal was not hot :/. Gym is tinyyyy — luckily I was the only one in there since there's enough equipment but very little space, and no yoga mats or wipes for the machines and weights!

The staff is excellent. They are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The best part was the pool. The water was actually warm! There was no getting used to it or anything!

Definitely THE best choice in the Waterloo area! Located conveniently to shopping and restaurants, yet always quiet for the evening to get your rest. Wonderful staff who will take care of you!

This hotel was great. Check in was smooth, rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Hotel seemed to be recently updated. Easy access to the highway, food, and shopping.

Nice, clean hotel. Came here with my tennis team. We ended up staying here because the comfort inn in the town we were playing with was priced extremely high. This hotel worked in our budget and have now gained me as a customer for any future trips to the area. It also helps that this hotel was nice and cleaner than the other hotel where we tried to stay.

I stayed there on a Saturday night, pulled back the bed sheets and there was hair in the bed that was disgusting called the front desk and they said well what do you want me to do. You should already know the answer to that question without me asking. They finally did give me another room I am a choice member and have never been so disappointed in a stay.

Great hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and bed. Nice location with easy access to 218. Hot Breakfast Buffet. Pool… but no hot tub. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!
