Quite simply the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I was part of a work group that had several rooms booked at this hotel for a local event. Two of my coworkers walked right out of the hotel and drove home for the night after getting their rooms because it was that unclean and sketchy. the craziest part of my stay was that they actually removed my things from the room I checked into the day before and gave the room to someone else. Apparently the front desk attendant that checked me in never put any of my info into their system and there was no real record that I ever checked in. I showed up around 2am after I finished work and had no room. No notification of any kind, I just walked up to the room and couldn't open the door because of the security latch. The desk attendant at the time spent about 10mins trying to open the door until the guests inside woke up and freaked out, naturally. At that time he more or less realized what happened, and gave me my things from the room behind the front desk. I'm still baffled as to how that all happened. Other issues include: extremely dirty stairwell, strange smells throughout the building, room door was stuck, no towels, elevator broken for multiple days. Another coworker tried to check into her room and found it filled with trash and clearly smoked in, heavily. One reported no hot water. The whole building was fairly noisy, you could frequently hear other people's general noise and conversations even early in the morning.
Well, after my complaints (well justified) were addressed, I have found a new appreciation for humans in general. Kim is the lady I worked with this time around and she was nothing but awesome and helpful. She helped me out when I needed it and I can't thank her enough. I was in dire need of sleep and only had certain payment methods and she accommodated perfectly. To be fair and biased I've spent the last hour trying to find something wrong with this stay. And I've come up with nothing. I will most certainly be staying here again.
