Great location to Lucas oil stadium.

Disappointed in our stay. I picked this hotel because the pool was open and when we get there we find out you only get 30 minutes to swim regardless if anyone else is in there m. I had one disappointed kid. Front desk said its posted online about the 30 minutes but I've yet to find it.

I am very disappointed at the service I received at the Holiday Inn Dtn-Conv Ctr Area. Drew put my 19-year son and 17-year-old cousin at risk. They were coming the gas station, which is at least a 3-minute walk from the hotel, when out of a nowhere a homeless drug addict man started following them. This person was cursing at them and then preceded to chase them as soon as they left the gas station. When they reached the front of the hotel the doors were locked. The 17-year-ol… Lees verder.

Where do I begin. After a rude and unfriendly and unwillingness to help welcome by the goth/punk band girl at the front. She preceded to have a "why are you here, you idiots" demeanor towards my girlfriend and I. She further belittled us by asking where we were from. As we began to tell her about it, she interrupted again rudely by saying "and you guys chose the lockdown city" in an extremely condescending adolescent tone. We checked to see about the refund policy as soon as we got to our rooms. No refunds, as expected. If this is any reflection of the companies attitude towards its guests, which I should interpret it as if it is, then I will never be staying at a holiday inn in the future ever again. Customer service should be considered priority number one, especially while partially reopened. Who you hire leaves an impact on your customer base and at any other corporate job, would be considered a violation of code of business conduct. Thank you downtown Holiday Inn for making me chose to always do business elsewhere!

Thanks for doing absolutely nothing to help the dozens of cars who were trapped for 2 hours in your parking garage tonight 2/9/2020. The young man who came over to the garage (short blonde hair and smoking a cigarette with blue jacket) was an unprofessional smart ass who offered no help at all.

Good updated hotel. Free breakfast was great! there for overnight stay with kids. Cool view oil Lucas oil stadium right across. Close to lots of things like zoo, etc most is a drive away. I did see a hotel shuttle however did not take it. Overall clean nice hotel.

Great location, within walking distance to all venues and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free shuttle service to all of downtown. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A great value!

This hotel is clean and convenient across from Lucas oil Stadium. There are even and few food places right there to walk. The bed conform level was average. TV size good but channels did not change quickly. Bathroom was nice but no Hot water 1 day. There is a mini frig, coffee maker, safe in room. I still do not understand why hotels do not have more light. Parking is $18.

It is located across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. The rooms are very nice with some rooms are larger than others. All the rooms are very accommodating. The service has also been great. I would recommend the Holiday Inn and Express Suites to family and friends!

Staff was friendly upon arrival and already had our room keys made for an easy check in. Rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Nice toiletries provided. Snack store in the lobby for late night treats. Complimentary breakfast provided was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and consider again myself if traveling back to Indianapolis.

Everything was great! Free hot breakfast with so many options. The breakfast hostess greeted me everyday with a smile! Reejay at the front was accommadating with any request I had and always so nice! Free shuttle within so many miles. Very clean! Free hot cookies in the evening. Parking only $18 a night. Literally across the street from Lucas Oil. The only problem was the chlorine in the pool… it was so strong smelling that it made my eyes burn, water & turn red just sitting in the pool area. I think it needs better air circulation… I just propped the outside door open which helped tremendously. Will definitely stay here again!

The included breakfast was very good including many cooked options to pick from. The rooms were very clean and well sized. The parking lot was undersized but there is a garage nearby.

Easy location to get to, a short walk from the convention center which is nice. Rooms were very well kept, clean and spacious. Fridge and microwave were a welcome addition. Staff was helpful when needed. Plenty of restaurants nearby with a wide variety of options. Wi-Fi connection was strong my entire stay. Would definitely book again.

Amazing hotel with the best continental breakfast I've ever seen. Seriously the pancake machine alone makes it worthwhile. The rooms are spacious and up to date and the staff was very friendly. Worst thing about this hotel is that you have to go to Indianapolis Indiana to stay there, but this hotel almost makes that worth it.

Great location for Downtown Indianapolis and only a 10 min walk to the convention centre. Rooms were large with self catering facilities such as a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is self serve buffet with a few hot items amongst standard cereals, fruits and pastries. Plenty of coffee on tap offered throughout the day. Although I didn't get a chance to use there was a good looking pool and Jacuzzi as well as a small gym. They even offered a free mini bus service at anytime in and out of town. I would highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure.

A lot nicer than I expected. Room was very modern and updated. I was surprised by the kitchette. Lucas Oil Stadium was right across the street. They were remodeling the lobby during out visit. Parking cost $18 additional.

Rooms are in good shape and clean. The free breakfast has a good selection. Close to free parking. 3 minute walk to Lucas oil and the convention center.

I am giving only 2 stars because of a filthy and very disgusting pool area! The pool water was cloudy AND BROWNISH in color. Smh. And reeked of chlorine so strong our eyes were burning. The walking area of the pool was just utterly filthy with black colored roll off from the pool, and feet ick from other guests. The pool is VERY TINY, in comparison to the larger pool depicted in the photos due to very trick photography of a spacious oasis. Our dance company could not partake in the relaxing warmth of a nice swim or soak in the hot tub due to severe burning teary eyes, scalding throat and lungs from staff who does not know what to do with a pool, and lacks knowledge of the very serious health hazards of disgusting contaminated water. Apparently it is a problem, as evidenced by the very recent postings of reviews citing the very same concerns of the pool area. Folks, there were serious debris notable in the water illuminated by the pool lights. On the upside, our room was very clean, and the hospitality samples were a joy, as they are labeled Bath and Body Works! The room is very functional, however, a lot of hallway light comes in around the door frame in the sleep hours. The lighted light switch in the bathroom is a brilliant plus… like a mini nightlight! As we are currently staying at this motel right now and have not experienced the breakfast nook yet, I will need to post a review, if necessary, on our experience in the very near morning.

Have to pay for the room and and they tack on an extra 20 just to park your car in hotel parking. Forgot toothpaste, they didn’t have any to accommodate but their “store” sure did. No hot water in the shower in the morning. They will nickle and dime you all of the way. Only good thing about this place is the location.

Our room was clean, very mordern styled. The hotel was being remodeled but that didnt bother us at all. The breakfast was actually fresh and filling. Overall great experience.

Have stayed here in the past and everything was great and this time they were remodeling. I wish that the would have said something when placing the reservation so we could have stayed somewhere else this trip. Not that it had anything to do with the remodeling but we were on the noisiest floor ever, with people slamming doors, being loud in the hallways and kids screaming for hours next door.

The room was nice. It had just been recently renovated. The staff wasn't overly friendly. They have Express checkout available so you can just leave your room keys in the room and as we were leaving the front desk guy was sitting there looking at I assume something on his phone or computer and looked up at us never said a word and we left. I also didn't like the fact that they charged almost $20 extra for parking and that was not mentioned at all anywhere when I booked the room.

Nice business class hotel with decent accommodations. Small lol but it has a hot tub. The rooms are a decent size with nice amenities. No view to speak of, but you can't have it all. Super convenient if you're seeing a Colts game.

Check in was a breeze and the clerk was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was immaculate with a great view of Lucas stadium. The shuttle is available until 10 pm. We have tickets to Comedysportz tonight, so that will be great.

The new renovations to the rooms are beautiful! Very clean and cozy. Spencer, who was working the front desk when we checked in made the entire experience come together. He was very attentive and so sweet. We will be back!

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. They are close enough to walk downtown but they also have a free shuttle to take you around which is great. Rooms are very comfy and modern with everything you need. This one's under construction for now but otherwise it's great! Parking costs $18 per night but at least they have a place for you.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2017, when they were in the process of renovating. I had the good fortune of staying on a floor that had clearly recently been renovated. The new design/decor are nice and modern; my room was spacious and comfortable. My room came with a refrigerator and small microwave, along with the usual creature comforts — plenty of desk space, closet space, etc. The stay was expensive due to a number of events taking place in Indy that weekend, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very welcoming upon arrival. Stayed in a newly updated room which was great. Room temperature control system was excellent for heating or cooling the room quickly. Nice linens on the beds. Not your stiff, nylon bedspread. Complimentary breakfast provided a wide variety of food from hot to cold food items.

AVOID this hotel. Especially if you have a tall vehicle that will not fit in a typical parking deck. Our customer service experience here was SUB PAR. We arrive to find no parking in their outdoor lot and go in to check in and see if they have parking elsewhere. We are greeted by Spenser, the manager, who suggests we try the deck and see if we fit. We go and check it out, but our vehicle is too tall. When we go back in to the desk, slightly frustrated, he is of little to no help and does not take an understanding tone. He suggests we park a mile away and he will refund our parking fee. When we ask about parking in the neighboring Holiday Inn lot, he says we will just get towed. Long story short, we go over to the Holiday Inn and ask them about parking. We are able to pay $20 for a pass (only $2 more than this hotel is charging). When we come back in Spenser knows the exact amount we paid for that pass, and jokes that they ripped us off… it was $2? (It seemed to us like he knew we could have paid them to park all along) We've had enough at this point and ask him to refund our parking fee. He goes onto his computer and tells us it has been refunded. The next morning when we check out and get a receipt, we find the charge was STILL ON THERE! Luckily the workers at the desk were much more friendly than Spenser that previous night and took it off right away. Overall BAD experience. Can't believe Spenser is a manager here.

Very nice hotel located across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium. Huge newly decorated room. Very quiet room and extremely comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again. You can never go wrong with Holiday Inn Express!

My husband and I and another couple stayed here during GenCon, a convention that happens in Indianapolis each year. There are over 60, 000 people in town for the weekend and it becomes a mad house. The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I didn't think they would be able to keep up with the coffee and fruit infused water, but it was always available. This wasn't my first choice based on location to the convention, but now having stayed here, I am reconsidering my plan for 2018. On-site parking was a very fair price as compared to other hotels and this location was easy to get in and out of for local sightseeing. Overall, I give it four stars. For the type of value stay it was the amenities that they promised were all available and good service should be recognized.

Hotel staff has been great so far. Pool is pretty good, and the hot tub is nice. Breakfast is great. Nice location. Cheap parking. Sheets could be softer.

Very clean, room was large and beds were comfortable. They have a convenient shuttle service to take us to our concert. Breakfast was good, overall great place to stay.

The hotel is generally nice. The pool seemed clean but the hot tub was never cleaned during my 4 day stay. Chemicals were added daily but no actual cleaning was done. The breakfast room is quite small, and the variety of breakfast items leaves something to be desired. I've never seen a hotel with no waffle maker. The guest room was nice. The street noise on the Lucas Oil Stadium side of the building was loud at times. The train was loud at times as well. The hotel shuttle service needs better communication between the desk staff and the shuttle drivers. I called the desk at 2pm asking for a ride at 2:30pm. They said that wouldn't be a problem, but the shuttle didn't come until 3:10pm. Spencer at the desk wouldn't hold the shuttle driver accountable or call a manager. He just kept offering to call me a cab. Why would I pay for a cab when the hotel has a free shuttle service? Useless. Overall, it was a decent hotel, but I don't forsee myself staying there again.

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip to Indianapolis, and I am extremely happy with my choice. The hotel facility is new and 100% excellently maintained. Decoration and lighting are very modern and comforting. Location is great, it is within 5 min walking distance to Indianapolis convention center and numerous restaurants. The stuff went extra miles to make me feel welcomed. Upon check in, I received a handwritten welcome note from the hotel manager Chrissy. The front desk pleasantly greeted me every time I passed by the lobby. Especially after a night jogging, the front desk stuff offered me the yogurt from their breakfast fridge. Their price is very cost-effective for such a prime location. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place for a stay downtown. Rooms are clean with comfy beds and dark curtains that cover the entire window. Nice restaurant right in the parking lot and literally right across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium (I'm sure this place is packed during football season! ) Half a mile walk to the main parts of downtown. The parking lot is small but they are prepared with extra free parking in the lot next door once you check in and grab the pass. Overall I really enjoyed my stay!

I was there visiting with an out of town friend. The staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and stocked; no complaints here.

Everyone there is super friendly. Patsy McDonald took great care of my group, she was on top of all of our needs and even helped us book our plane tickets!

Rooms were clean, great location, staff was a little rude as there was a full room of people eating breakfast and they started cleaning up right at 10am and pretty much kicked everyone out of dining area.

Clean and comfy rooms freindly staff I got a good price on it a week ahead of time… nice resteraunt / tavern beside it. I have stayed at a ritzy place since then that was fancier but the actual amenities weren't as nice and cost double… the free breakfasy is very good.

Overpriced and severely Gouged for a Handicap room with no Refrigerator, Microwave or Parking. Small non modernized room, Okay bed, Horrible shower and bath, it dates to the mid 80's at best. $290.00 a night for a room that was at best a good Motel 6. I don't mind the price if I get what I pay for. The owners and parent company should be embarrassed by this facility. If you want a good room at a decent price a friend stayed at the Marriot that same weekend for MotoGP for $199.00 and his room was fantastic. My lesson on this was to never plan a last minute trip to MotoGp. Because you end up at the Holiday Inn Express. I guess it does make me smarter. Just can't shake the feeling that I'm dumb for staying at the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS DOWNTOWN INDY!
