I stayed here in August of 2017 and Oh my gosh. Creepy and terrible. This place was definitely an insane asylum before they turned it into a motel/hotel thing. The guy that works here is the only worker and could very well be a ghost. He is very creepy and shows up out of nowhere. The rooms had stains and made me very uncomfortable! I slept in my clothes. The rooms also came with towels in which I put over the pillow and the sheets. There is a door that leads to the room next to you. I put the mini fridge in front of it. I don't trust it. In the bathroom, there were blood stains (I believe) in the bathtub. And, stains on the bed sheets. I also cried during the night; I felt ghosts looking at me. (Do not judge. ) Before that, we went exploring at night and saw the pool. That's not useable. Lol. And, the vans in front were unlocked and ahh. They were empty. A highlight was seeing a very friendly cat that I took pictures of and with. This place scared me so much. In the morning, all of the cars from last night were gone. Yikes. We also went around the hotel were there were cameras and there was a presidental suite. I don't know if I can add pictures, but I will try to. Well, in conclusion, I would most definitely NOT recommend this place. Just no. Don't. I don't know the theme they were going for, but it was terrible. Worst experience ever. I hope that I didn't leave anything out. Good luck if you want to sleep here. Anyone know how to add pictures?

Almost all the rooms downstairs are flooded out. The staff really needs help. The desk lady is very nice but lacks alot of tools necessary to work there. No management to the place. The guy to talk to about working there is very unaproachable. They really need some help.

This is our second stay! We returned because of Heather and Tony! Treated us like family! Excellent service! We are staying a week this time. They accommodated us even though it was a holiday weekend and also the Indy 500. If you are looking for a relaxed family atmosphere, come visit and stay awhile. Major problem… we told them we would be back on Friday or Sat at very early a. M. Since we paid for a week and we told them not to sell our room. We expected to return and our room would still be there. They sold our room to other guest and no one could be found to get a refund for 2 nights since they sold them. I've worked hotel industry for 4yrs as management at front desk. You can't sell a room that's been paid for if a guest is planning on returning. We will no longer stay here now because of that.

This place was said to be recently renovated. I was horrified before getting to the room in seeing that the renovations were still in progress. When walking into my bedroom, we found a list of thing wrong immediately: we didn’t have working electricity, the floors were filthy, bathroom was a mess and there was cockroaches in the bathroom. Overall, I would not waste your time by staying here. You can do what we did and simply find another hotel.

Had a great stay and the location was central to the whole city b being right next to I465, this Highway circles the Capitol city, Indianapolis. The staff was helpful and courteous while trying to renovate this fine South Side establishment! The pool is going to be renovated as well! Straight North 10 minutes to Speedway, Indiana and the Home of The Indianapolis 500!

Dirty rooms. Phones didn't work. Staff was unfriendly. All ice machines were broke and no fridge, coffee pot or microwave in the room.

Not a good place. First of all when you walk in nobody is at the front desk to check you in, you have to call a number on the door and wait for him to get to the desk. It is very cold in the lobby, not sure why. As you walk to your room it smells bad and is very very dirty. Stuff laying everywhere in the halls. This is even before you get to your room which is another story. When you walk in your room it is very cold. The Heater looks like it's from 1990 and barely works. The bed sheets have ciggarette burns in them. And a mysterious stain right in the middle of the sheet, very gross. We were football fans coming in for a game so we wanted to get some ice to put drinks on, and we get down to the multiple ice machines and not one of them work, and they look like they haven't been touched in months, they were very dusty. Our garbage bin had a hole in the bottom. The previous garbage wasn't even taken out from the last time. The lights had a bulb that was out. Coming back from our football game, when we got back the doors were locked. Luckily we were able to get in one of side doors. You should probably have a person at the desk at least during the day. We arrived at Noon and it looked like an abandoned hotel. The next day we woke up and got out of there at 8 o'clock and nobody was in sight again. Someone was waiting outside wanting to get a room but the doors were locked so they couldn't get in. Overall very bad, don't reccomend unless it the last possible place you can stay.

The best inn is a nice place to stay. Very hospitable employees and the rooms are comfortable. I give it 5 stars. Thanks for a wonderful time…

A lil rough but nice to see people putting in the work and effort to make it better. My stay was quite and peaceful. I absolutely enjoyed the staff. Desiree is who I mainly dealt with and she was just a pleasure to communicate with, hard work always kept herself busy. The night clerk was helpful and very polite. Was unaware that there was even a security guard working there. Never seen or heard of him. His presence was not knowing throughout my stay. Keep the front desk staff they are wonderful and improve on Security's presence around the hotel and u would have a chance of making it.
