Clean and very spacious room. So much so, that the rooms feel kind of empty and lack furniture. Also the cleaning people came to clean before 9 am which is the earliest I've ever seen for cleaning staff to come and wake up the tenants. Only happened once throughout my multi-night stay though.

Like most properties now, the guest experience is dictated by the behavior and ill-attention of the staff. The valet and room service staff is excellent as always. I'm sure that's derived by the fact that better service can lead to additional compensation. The guest services, front desk and management couldn't be more indifferent to the needs of the guest. This property is no different. We had a terrible check in experience. We asked three staff members the same question to which none knew the answer. Not until management called to clarify did we ever get a straight answer. We'll probably stay here again but like most guests, you get used to the lower level of service in exchange for location. Too bad the costs don't decrease with the level of service.

Just a short walk to the convention center and many restaurants nearby. Great fitness center and pool. Staff was considerate and attentive. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds and linens were soft. Really happy with this place.

Great place to stay. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. I wish I had of known that you had to ask for microwave and refrigerator but still I would recommend this hotel. Staff was very helpful and the chef was AMAZING. I would recommend the Salmon.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. We valet parked our car so we could eat dinner for Mothers day at the restaurant. The good was so delicious and the staff was friendly. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great Hilton property! Location was ideal. You can walk everywhere! I was upgraded to the presidential suite. Very nice. Living room, dining room, one king size bed, two full bathrooms and amazing views of the city. Fridge in room. Valet costs 44$ a night. Staff very nice. Two great restaurants on site and within walking distance of endless restaurants. I recommend and would stay here again.

After reserving a room for my daughter sleepover for the weekend, I went to the front desk for check in, the young lady at the desk said my card wasn’t working which have money on it, But Anyway to compromise I paid cash instead. I went to my room and immediately checked my account. The Hilton’s took $172.50 off my card After I paid $226 dollars for a room. I went back to the desk to inform them of the mistake the woman at the desk said it was pending & it would take 3 Days to get back on my card. So 3 Days later it’s Tuesday, I call the hotel letting them know my transition did not deposit I get connected to the accountant. She tells me they took $151.00 not $172.50 which is clear as day on my transaction report, I guess my $22 dollars just vanished in thin air. It might not be much but it’s my money. The hotel was nice in my girls had a good time but just from that experience I will never refer anyone to this hotel nor will they get my business again. What a disappointment & such a inconvenience.

I am here for a 3 day conference. All of the meeting spaces are amazing. We have used meeting spaces on 4 different floors. Each is magnificent. The hotel staff is friendly and professional. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel as well as Circle Mall, TJMaxx and war memorials.

I stayed in this hotel for a conference for several days. Good: Pleasant front desk staff, comfortable beds, decent meeting space, decent gym equipment. Bad: Overnight room service was significantly late, rude, and poorly managed (when I press the "room service" button on the phone, I expect the voice on the other end to say "room service" — — not a random string of numbers). Rooms look like they have not been updated in 20+ years. Wifi was inconsistent in meeting spaces (particularly in the basement, where some larger sessions were held). Overall: I expect more from a mainline Hilton hotel at this price point. Would not recommend.

Excellent coffee break. Excellent meeting rooms. Rooms I can not say that I stayed there.

We were in town for the big comic con and tried this hotel for a cheaper rate. It was close to the venue and closer to the restaurants, so it seemed fine. Service was nice and the room was nice, but they are clearly behind the times. 3 out of 4 of their elevators were out of service at the same time and they failed to post any alerts regarding this or attempt to fix it. We were all so very confused. For those with wheelchairs or strollers, it was terrible. It took us 45 minutes to make it down and load our belongings into our car. Having the whole hotel riding in 1 elevator on a Sunday is a sad site. They were also not staffed up to accommodate an influx of people. Also, our rooms were adjacent to what I believe was a night club. We could hear everything. Upgrading to sound-proof glass might also help their situation. My advice, pay more and stay at the better options down the street that have real parking garages, a big staff and reliable elevators.

This place is only a 3 star hotel?!?!? It's considerably nicer and seemingly more upscale especially as soon as you enter the doors compared to other 3 star hotels I've been in. Rooms are laid out nicely and spacious and definitely worth the cost. Only con to the experience is no fridge or microwave in the king suite… But at least there's food and stores all around!

This hotel had an elegant look and feel to it. You can tell it is old though because the shower had some rust on it and carpet was a little bit old and worn. I was in a deluxe room, which has an office and a pull-out sofa, this room is also where the AC unit is located. The AC unit wasn't strong enough to push cool air into the bedroom and it was mostly a little bit warm in there main bedroom. I wanted to point out that there was no mini fridge either in case someone needs that. Vending machine on the 14th floor was out of service and didn't take any money. Would be nice to have credit card readers on them as well.

The Hilton in Downtown Indianapolis is a magnificently beautiful hotel-from the outside awning, the lit up circular drive, & carasel front door — this place is the definition of classy! The lobby is comfortable & the staff is helpful, but not pushy. The lay-out of the hotel is also not basic, nor is it confusing. I was easily capable of finding my room in no time. I loved it!

McCormick & Schmidt for a special Birthday dinner for husband. While food is good, their prices are getting too high for us to continue to make this one of our favorite 'special places' to go. Had one of the 'cheaper menu items', and appetizer — no alcohol. Bill still came to about $70+ which for 'fish and chips' just seemed way too high for us. Service was good, just getting too pricey for us to afford.

Very nice hotel. Very nice staff. Big rooms. Clean. Very nice breakout rooms. Great polite servers in the ballrooms. Just an overall great experience for our army annual training. They gave their best.

Spent a week here for business while attending a conference. The room was spacious and clean. The hot tub and pool were out of order the entire stay. Overall for the price, it could be better.

We stayed in a one bedroom king suite for one night. The room was absolutely huge! One of the biggest suites we have ever stayed in. It was nicely updated and clean. The hotel was quite and beds were comfy. The hotel is in walking distance to the circle and mall. Which most restaurants and bars downtown are located near. I highly recommend staying at Hilton Indianapolis.

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, but it was not worth all of the hype. My family stayed here for two nights and were expecting much more. From the outside, the hotel looks amazing. We had suites and for 2 days, we had zero room service which meant no clean towels after we all showered. The pool area had zero towels and had to return to our rooms dripping wet. When it came down to breakfast time, being vegans, we were starving. We had fruit and coffee (took the staff 20 minutes to find almond milk for my coffee). When it came down to check out, we waited over an hour for a cart to take everything to the parking garage… it never came. Also, let's not mention that my credit card was charged an extra $300 for no apparent reason ("it will take 3 days for it to deposited back"). These are simple things that with better management, it could improve easily.

Great location and friendly staff. Stayed on the 14th floor and had a good view. Visited the bar on the main level and the bartender was excellent. The fabric shower curtain had mold/mildew on it and the bathroom smelled musty when the shower was on. Shouldn't the removable part of the shower liner be washed after each guest? If so, why would the liner be put back on in that condition!? Needless to say, my shower was quite quick!

Rooms were great, we had no problems getting into them. I thought it was weird that every floor had the same pictures in the exact same spots on every floor (we had multiple rooms on different floors reserved). Both bars in the hotel were nice and fun. Room service was very quick and responsive.

Excellent value for prime downtown lodging. Sandwiched a block from the capital one direction and the Circle City Monument a block the other direction, it is a great spot to stay. An easy walk to great beer and dining, and the house bars and restaurants are very good too. The rooms are very large and comfortable, especially the bed and pillows, however there is no way of creating white noise with the air system, nor any USB ports for phone charging, as is common in modern well appointed rooms. Still, quite a value and a nice place to stay.

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite hotel in Indianapolis! Dave and Ryan were Amazing and kind! my stays are always the best here and I would refer to everyone! Super clean, extremely convenient and the staff is 5 star! If you stay anywhere in Indianapolis stay HERE! Can't wait for my next visit!

Great hotel. Good location. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Easily accessible parking garage at a good price to park yourself, or a little more to valet. Had some noisy neighbors, which we didn't mind, but we were impressed at how fast security arrived and asked them to quiet down. A great experience as a HHonors member, would recommend to anyone!

Loved every visit that we have had with the hotel. We did get charged for parking the last time we were here. And the room we had was right next to the paint shop. All in all there is not a lot of bad I can say this is actually the nicest Hotel in Indianapolis.

This is a nice hotel. Front desk was pleasant and well-stocked with band-aids. Fruit-infused water available in the lobby, which was nice. The room was clean and bed well-made. I did notice our towels were changed out if they were on the bathroom door, even though they weren't on the floor (as per the pamphlet) but that isn't a complaint. There was no water cooler per floor or anything like that, so if I wanted water I either had to get it from the lobby or the sink, and the sink water had a bit of a metallic taste to it. The hotel's attached grill has an $18 buffet breakfast including drinks (at least on the weekends) which had several offerings and was a decent meal for the price. The food was a little on the cold side when we got there, but wasn't bad. The attached parking garage's daily cutoff is at 4PM, which I had to ask several times to get a consistent answer on.

Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff. They were able to answer all my questions and they were very polite … clean spacious rooms… the suite I had was humongous. Not sure why there was no fridge or microwave. The rooms are big enough to fit them in there but maybe the cost to maintain them is too much. The business center was efficient with fast computers. I was able to print my concert tickets off with no problem. And there were no added fees. The only thing I didn't like was the food from the restaurant who handled the room service. My daughter and I got breakfast and the pancakes were too thick and dry the butter tasted freezer burnt and I paid $50 for just the two of us! I wouldn't recommend ordering room service based on the quality and price but I don't blame that on the Hilton. There are more than enough restaurants within walking distance and some offer delivery. Everything was awesome and I'd stay again… actually I will be staying again.

A little disappointing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean. BUT, for a Hilton I'm not thrilled. Pool is VERY small, no where to dry your bathing suit (atleast a spinner or a heat lamp in your bathroom, something). No mini fridge. Staff at the bar and grill lack attentiveness. BUT, are very nice. All in all, for a Hilton, I expected a little more of that wow factor.

Cozy yet high price place. Good Services and free coffee in the rooms. There's a pool at the top level and there's also a gym and other places. A great place to vist.

We stay there last weekend and had a very good time. The hotel is in centralize area, close to everything. Our suite was spacious, had a lot of room for a family of 5. Staffs were nice. We love it when we were a customer of a day, we had free breakfast and free valet parking.

We had a great stay this weekend at the Indianapolis Downtown Hilton. We were upgraded to a corner suite. Our room was great, and the staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, the Chef cooking the omelettes, pancakes, and waffles was pretty phenomenal. Very cheerful, and funny in his interactions with us and numerous other guests. He made a regular breakfast special. I even overheard the table next to us laughing, while discussing the conversations they had with him. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name, in hindsight that I am now able to praise him it is unfortunate. Once again, my experience at Hilton Hotels was top notch.

The staff was phenomenal. We had about 400 people attending a 3 day conference through our company and they were great. They made sure all the bags got to the correct rooms, answered any and all questions we had, and they locked down the elevators during our transitions to various floors for breakout meetings which helped keep us on our schedule. The tables in the ballroom that we ate in were crowded but we had 400 or more people and our company acknowledged that they're running out of good places with our growing numbers so not really a fault of the Hilton. Rooms were very clean, updated, and comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

This hotel was perfect for our stay for the Indy Mini marathon last weekend. It was conveniently located just blocks from the race start and finish, and was in the center of the downtown area. Everything was within walking distance. The parking wasn't free but was discounted for us when we asked. The room itself was huge and very clean. I didn't love the bed, but overall we very much loved our stay.

Beautiful hotel and great service! The rooms were fantastic and it was easy to get to the garage. My only complaint would be the amount of noise coming from our neighbors but one call downstairs fixed that.

Valet was helpful, front desk was adequate. Rooms need upkeep. Pillow cases had reddish stains on them and the bathroom shower was shabby. Elevators were out of service. For the price I'm sure there are other hotels in the area that are better. Worst Hilton experience I can remember. Normally Hilton does a great job, not this one. Tried to order room service, got routed back to he front desk, sat on hold for too long. Ordered a burger from a Punch Burger which was good.

We stayed at the Hilton in Indianapolis this past Thursday. They're computer system was down so check in took quite a while and they couldn't help that. The staff is excellent; from the desk staff to the restaurant. The 1st room we were in the heat didn't work. An hour and a half later maintenance showed and it was still cold. We were moved to another room; actually a suite. Nice big space but, the bedroom was very dusty, thick dust on TV and stand, bathroom had hair around tub and other places on the floor, also hair in the bed. I have a lil OCD when it comes to cleaning. I feel for $230.00 a night the room should be cleaner. Again, all staff friendly and accommodating. Excellent staff.

The rooms were expansive, clean, and comfortable. It is in a great location, just around the corner from interesting monuments and other interesting things to do like the Indianapolis Zoo. The staff was very friendly and was able to answer every question.

I have stayed here the past 2 years with my 2 children. We had pets last year to bring with us. The check in and check out was great. The valet both times was great and a big help with unloading the car and we had help taking our things up to our room. We are going to stay again this year.

Very disappointed. No free parking, even though you pay an outrageous amount for the hotel. Parking costs $34 and our hotel cards would not even work at the garage. We tried calling the front desk several times during our stay and could not get hrough. No continental breakfat. There also is not a refridgerator in the room. The pool is small and not very clean. My 16 month old found a pill on the floor and stuck it in his mouth. Luckily we saw him and got it out of his mouth. We tried calling the front desk and could not get a hold of anyone about this issue. At checkout time, they will definitely hear about this. We did tell them at checkout and the lady was very concerned and apologetic. She ended up giving is The parking free and our room service free. The wallsare also paper thin. Needless to say, we will never stay at this hotel again. : (

Our friends and I took a trip to indy for a nice spa day and pool at the Hilton yesss we will go again very soon.

3 of us stayed in a king room with a pull out sofa. I slept on the sofa bed, and was extremely comfortable! Couldn't even tell it was a pull-out. Very clean! Great location! Valet service was so wonderful, during arrival and departure both.

Have stayed here each year I visit Indianapolis for a convention. The hotel staff is always courteous and efficient, though at times, when things like rollaway beds have been asked for they have been quite time consuming to get it to the room. The rooms are always clean and I have yet to have a bad experience staying here.

Stayed here during a recent business trip to Indy. The location is superb; right in the middle of downtown. Walking distance to everything you could want (shopping, food, entertainment, etc. ), and also a McCormick and Schmick's on site! The hotel was very modern and the rooms were quite nice. We ran into the Miami Heat, who were staying here while playing the Pacers. Would certainly stay here again when next in Indy.

We thought we were getting a steal. The Hilton? Downtown? $120 a night?! yes! Whats interesting about this hotel is, YES, they have Valet, but its $34 a day. If you dont want valet, they encourage you to self park at the garage connected to the hotel. What they don't tell you, is that THAT is $28 a day. Free Wi-Fi? — — Only in the lobby, unless you want to pay 13 dollars a night Room service? — — Sure, but wth the added 3.50 delivery and 20% gratuity Microwave? — — — Sure, 10 dollars a day Bottled water in the room? — — How nice! That'll be an additional 3 dollars. Bottom line, if you have the money to stay for 220+ a night, go ahead, but for the average joe who's looking for a deal. Try somewhere else.

The room was pretty good, spacious and clean. The staff was not great! At check in they weren't friendly at all. Katie A, didn't even crack a smile. It put us off instantly. It was as if we were bothering her by checking in. I paid cash for the valet and they still added the charge onto my bill. Gabe in room service was very friendly but our orders (yes multiple orders) were just wrong. When we were checking out we did deal with a woman named Rebecca and she was very nice! She corrected the charges on our bill and was very friendly. We also had help from a man named Logan who worked in the valet and he was very nice. But aside from Logan and Rebecca the staff wasn't great.
