Not recommend for families between the drug use and partying going on. Dirty rooms and poorly managed. Couldn’t even use the pool most of our stay due to it being closed.

Dead tic in the bed, faucet leaks, not enough towels the ac hits the foot of bed not the body.

Comfortable beds but not all rooms have microwaves and refrigerators.

This place has roaches! Tony the night manager is rude and unhelpful! I checked in and was here for an hour before I saw two roaches! I immediately packed up and went to the front desk and told the manager. He then tried to put me in another room. No sir! Roaches are not confined to one room! I told him I’d like a refund. He responded that he needed to check the room first. I agreed to wait at the desk. He came back and said the room was too used and he could not refund my money! I had to call corporate and dispute the charges off my card! Do Not Stay Here! It’s probably bed bugs too!

Bugs crawling around on floor, bedding not changed, stains on sheets and bedding, room smells like mildew and disinfectant, management is terrible.

Having coffee maker and drinks in the bathroom is very unhealthy.

Hotel was very nice and clean, updated, had a great breakfast, and had friendly staff! No disappointments here.

Most of the employees were great. Felt a little off put by one. Rooms fine, breakfast fine. Solid 4 out of 5.

Reasonably priced hotel within close distance of the convention I went to. The staff was very friendly, and they had warm cookies in the lobby when I checked in. I would definitely stay here again.

Worst hotel to stay at. Hotel was filthy. Rooms smelled like smoke, towels stained with human feces, bed cover/mattress were stained with yellow spots, tub was a brown tint when it was supposed to be white. Tables were sticky. Kids running around without parental supervision. Usually im kind of prone to all this but this hotel was over the top. They let the guests set up "camp" with a tent and coolers and a grill outside the side entrance and were loud and obnoxious. Hotel "front desk manager" was rude and very unpleasant. My advice to you is to go across the street and spend the extra $20-$40 a night at the marriott or hampton and not risk the chance of coming back with more than what you brought to the hotel. Absolute terrible hotel, never want to stay at a place that has a billboard sign that advertises "front desk positions needed". Shows how well their staff is mindful of their place of business. Stray from this one, there are far better options.

This hotel was pretty nice. It was clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The building was notably humid, but that was the only negative from the experience.

There was a guy that was at the front desk that was extremely nice. He helped my family and I out so much. I wish I remember his name. He joked around with us and helped my family when we were in a time of need. He deserves a raise or something. This happened at 11:45 pm on 04/11/18 if that helps. Thank you so much again we needed that. God will heal :) -Alissa and Jacob.

Clean and simple hotel. Free Wi-Fi. Hot breakfast with waffles! Good sized rooms. Staff was very friendly. Kids enjoyed pool and hot tub. Lots of restaurant options within a short driving distance. My only complaint was the firm mattress. I sleep on a pillow top mattress at home so this was tough for me. If you’re a side sleeper, get ready to use extra pillows.

I real like this place. I have stayed here several times. Indoor pool and whirl pool beautiful lobby, nice rooms. Easy to get to with map maybe not easy to spot from hwy. But I use map. Worth finding.

Stayed overnight for a New Year's Eve party. Clean simple hotel. Friendly staff. The night manager was great.

Stayed overnight new year's eve. The night desk person was awesome as always. The desk person that was there when we checked in was a bit surly, didn't want to give us a third key, and griped about it, but was much more friendly and chatty as we were checking out. Putting it down to a bad day. Our room had a king bed, sofa bed, small microwave, dorm-sized fridge, and a tub with jets. Didn't try out the tub. The bed was *tall*. I could barely get my butt on it standing on tiptoes and then kind of flop back and scoot on. They've also gone to these weird, small, square pillows. There were six on the bed. If you lined them up so they covered the whole width, your head ended up on the crack between pillows. I ended up putting my third pillow over the crack, but that was a little thick. Just not a good arrangement. I'd advise bringing your own if you can.

Very clean comfortable facility and a great location for events in Indianapolis. The employees we had contact with were great!

Hotel experience was great! I went there for one night as a get-away for me and my girlfriend. The rooms were very nice, especially for the price and on a college budget. Though it wasn't busy when I stayed there, I was able to check in early (1pm) and check out late (11am) with no extra cost. The room was very clean. My neighbors did not disturb me either. Felt like a 3 star hotel, and priced like a 2. Definitely would go here again.

First off when I walked in the lobby smelled horrible like they were trying to cover up bad food with an air freshener spray. The lady behind the counter was nice enough, very rude to the maintenance guy who I'm not sure understood her. I go to my room and it smelled the same I felt kind of dirty but figured I was just over reacting. I decided I would watch TV before I go to dinner. The TV didn't turn on from the remote. OK, so I go to the TV and turn it on by the controls and it works. Remote just needs batteries, cool. I figure id let them know after I get back from dinner I go out and grab some food and look around Indianapolis. I come back and let them know and of course it turns into a big thing. The maintenance guy tried to give me the remote to the TV and not the Direct TV box. I told him that won’t change the channel. So finally they tell me that it’s the HDMI and what not which I know is absolute BS. I get a new room closer to the lobby more stinky. I finally get to relax so I put on the TV no NHL network great. So I decide to go to bed after a few hours of mindless clicking through channels. All night I could hear people having sex and smashing their bed into the walls I couldn't pick up where it was coming from because it was from multiple locations. I get up for work and go to take a shower. The water pressure was horrible and the shower curtain along the bottom had mold on it. The bottom of the tub was slimy and slippery. I didn't come back the second night.

Clarion inn and suites is a great hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was friendly. I didn't pack shampoo or conditioner but I always had plenty stocked in my room by the hotel. I didn't have a microwave or refrigerator in my room which was slightly disappointing but other than that I enjoyed my stay.

We loved this hotel! Clean, great rates and the mattress was sooo comfortable! Stacy, one of the managers that took good care of us. The breakfast was also incredible… everything you can imagine from yogurt & oatmeal to eggs & waffles. Highly recommend!

Stacey, the front desk manager, greeted me extremely pleasantly as I checked in. She was cheerful, helpful, and incredibly friendly! She even had freshly baked cookies available when I checked in. The room far exceeded my expectations — comfy beds, very spacious. There is also a pool, jacuzzi, and fitness center. AMAZING for the price!

Friendly staff. But unfortunately we got an old smoking room which still smelled heavily of smoke. They did thier best to air it out. Breakfast was yummy! Can never go wrong with a waffle maker!

Good experience. Nice rooms. Kids played in the pool a lot, which was a little cold for comfort. "Continental breakfast" includes things like bacon, biscuits and gravy and more, which was a plus.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The bed and pillows were comfy and soft. The bathroom was huge, spacious, and clean. I only wished there was a mini fridge in the room for food/beverages. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Very nice place to stay! Ladies working the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice neighborhood to stay in. Pool and breakfast were also good. Highly recommend staying here. 2 soccer teams were also staying and never heard any noise.

Excellent place, good rates, n great staff. I stay there every few weeks for the last 3 years on business and my room has always been immaculate. I see some negative comments that I personally disagree. I've never encountered anything negative or ring with this hotel.

Night operator Matthew went above and beyond to please all guests. He was truly an asset to this hotel. One bad staff member, but overall very nice rooms, staff, and facility.

Convenient location. Staff was courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast was set up by 6am when we checked out. The room: was clean, smelled good, plenty of towels/wash clothes. Room AC didn't work very well; room was hot. Nonskid surface in tub is almost gone and my husband & I both nearly fell.

Rat hole with stained sheets and the most inhospitable, unprofessional and incompetent manager and staff I have ever encountered. I'm vowing to eradicate this hotel as a choice for my company corporate travel. That bad. If I could rate it on a negative scale I would.

The desk manager was arguing with me about what the stains were on the blanket I had when I got to my room, it was disgusting.

After a long drive, my wife and I were looking for a decent priced hotel to stay at (along with our children) for the weekend. However we woke up to a room full of ANTS that were crawling in our luggage, all over the tables, everywhere! We were completely outraged and it took all of 3 hours to accommodate us to another room (on the 2nd floor). Once you encounter seeing something like that, you're itching all over by just the thought! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Pros: Bed was comfortable. Decently priced rooms. Cons: The sofa was badly stained. The walls are paper thin. I could hear snoring coming from the room to my right and loud music coming from the room to my left. The complimentary breakfast was so-so.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was a little run down. Sheets on sofa sleeper were dirty. No fridge in our room. Included breakfast was satisfactory.

Stayed for a new year's eve party, as we've done for several years. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, hot tub was just right. Matt, the night manager, was great as always.

For the value… the Clarion Inn was really more than we expected. My husband and I are in town for the Brickyard 400 and the hotel is less than 10 minutes from the track. Not a bad hike from the airport either. We arrived around noon, because our hot passes had not been delivered to the track yet and were told check in is at 3. We completely understood. However, Steven put in some effort and found us an available, ready room immediately and we were able to unpack and freshen up before heading back to the track. While picking up our credentials in the Nascar credential trailer, we left our rental car keys on the counter… not realizing it until everything was closed. We managed to get a ride back to the hotel just before dark, but I needed a few items from the store. When I inquired where the nearest pharmacy was, Stacey refused to let me walk and she was so kind to drive me to Kroger and waited in the car. On the way back, she referred me to her friend who was available to drive us back to the credential trailer the next day so we could retrieve our keys. (Race weekend taxi $50 flat rate each way. Rental car replacement keys $350) Stacey really saved the day! She didn't have to do all of that. Our room was very low priced so we did not expect the Ritz, however what we got was a spacious, clean, quiet room & bathroom.

The staff was the best part of the stay. The hotel is dated and the rooms are strange and uncomfortable. We stayed during a rainy spell and the rooms were persistently damp. Even the towels and newspapers were wet from the poor air. You probably should stay elsewhere if you have allergies. The location is good for on/off access to the interstate. The key card readers are broken so the staff replaced our keys several times a day. There is a free breakfast but it was not very good, except for cereal and juice. Overall, not a nice property but the staff do their best.

First night of a 4 night stay. Some of the outlets in the room do not work. While pulling out the furniture to look for working outlets I found that it was SOOOOOO dirty. (I found cigarette ashes in a non smoking room! ) Also, there was a dirty sock in plain view under the desk that was NOT mine. In addition, there were ants crawling on me while I sat on the couch in the room. I am asking for a new mattress pad because the one that I have had "hairs" on it. Gross! I paid for 4 nights… am going to try to get out of the last 2 nights. UGH! What a pain!

I myself work part time at the Clarion in another city. I have been with the company for 2 years. I have booked MANY rooms for friends/family since my employment with the company. I have NEVER been inconvenienced so severely as I have today. My friend is running the Mini Marathon tomorrow in Indy, I booked her a room at this hotel last week, received our confirmation email, #, check in time, etc. My friend packed herself and her sister up and drove to check into her room. When she arrives she is told that her room had been canceled. She was in shock, she still had the confirmation email in her inbox, as did I. The manager, Mike Jones, took it upon himself to call my employer, ask if my friend worked there, when he received the information that she did not (since it is ME who works at the Clarion) he then didn't call her to say the room is being canceled, he just canceled it! So she drove ALL the way to Indy thinking she had a room, and didn't. WOW! Talk about HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! What makes this even more ridiculous is that I had to call MY employer and speak to MY hotel manager. When the situation was explained to her she was equally appalled, and confused as well. She explained that she has NEVER had that problem, even if she was sent and incorrect link (employee vs friends/family discounted link) she still has NEVER seen a hotel DENY the guest a room!

Clean and the hosts were friendly. That said, sheets are 200-400 ply and walls are paper thin. Full breakfast was nice.

First time Hotwire has done me wrong. This place was dogshit. Never again.

Nice hotel, great staff, amazing value. Some renovations going on, but nothing that affected my stay.
