It's close to everything. It's cheap. It isn't dirty. This is your basic no frills hotel, but for what it is, is one of the best.

Location and price were excellent. Cleanliness and service were good. All we did was sleep and shower. Didn't use any of the other provided amenities.

Stayed 2 nights, shouldn't have stayed 1. Bathroom was disgusting. We cancelled and moved to a different place.

Beautiful experience. Just make sure that you have your stuff when you leave. I left a picture of my mother and my brother and sister and I found out they threw it away when I return to get it at 2pm after I checked out.

Staff is very rude and hateful. Acted very rude over having my 2 year old son, me, and my wife. And when we asked for a extra pillow and blanket the lady at the front desked acted like that's was too much to ask and acted like it was an inconvenience to her and acted like we had extra people staying with us. We also asked if they had a plastic fork and she wanted to know why and was very rude about it. We will never stay at this hotel again.

The place was very clean and the nightly rates are affordable. The location is very convenient to all the restaurants and shopping centers. Movie theater is within walking distance. Only thing we didn't like about it is no smoking allowed in room.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is small, just some waffles and biscuits and gravy, etc. But it was tasty!

Friendly staff rooms were a little dated but not bad. The rooms were clean and free of any unwanted bugs.

Wonderful staff, nice rooms, great prices and they work discounts for families whose loved ones are in the hospital. Also in a very accessible and safe area. Will always be staying here when in When in Evansville. Pet friendly!

Reasonable rates, clean rooms. It isn't the Ritz, so keep your expectations where they should be. Free breakfast, good Wi-Fi.

Worst experience in a hotel EVER. We had booked 4 nights at the hotel. On our first night, we found bed bugs in our room, under the mattress, and even found one crawling on us. We alerted the front desk, and he seemed unconcerned about it. He said he would document our complaint. In the elevator down to the lobby, we ran into a group of contractors staying in the hotel, and they said they also had bed bugs. We took pictures of the room and the bed bugs for proof. The next morning, we went in to talk to the manager. He denied everything. The room had been cleaned that night, so of course, all the bed bugs had been vacuumed away. He was very rude and refused to give us any sort of refund back. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay in a super 8 motel again.

Just got here. So far so good. Clean, air works and tv.

Not a bad economy hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable enough. There is plenty of fast food within a short drive.

The value for the place is great. Super friendly staff and above average for what originally looked suspect from the star rating shown on Google. Definitely a safe place.

Checked in and more we looked around the worse it looked. We had 2 rooms. Rooms not clean. Pillows under cases all yellow stained. Bathrooms unclean/ old urine on toilets at back. Feces on front of toilets in both rooms. They would check us into different rooms but when we looked at them and they were no better than ones we had. At least we were refunded our money by the very friendly helpful man in charge at the desk. Would never stay here again unless the whole place underwent a cleaning. Found the halls and stairwells etc. Just as dirty as the rooms. This place is in an ideal location for movies, food, and mall. They really need to improve.

I was overnighted in Evansville on business. I had the most pleasant stay at this hotel. Friendly, courteous staff. Very helpful as far as directions to dinner. Very quiet, cozy, comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again if I return. Location is GREAT! Movie theater across the street, various dining within a 3-5 mile radius. Thank you Super 8! 5 star in my book.

I am not sure where other guests stayed at this hotel but it sure beats my experience. Upon entering the room it was completely dark, stuffy & stinky. The stench was overbearing. We turn on the AC to help circulate the air and left for about 1 hour. Upon returning, the strong odor was still present in the room. Cleanliness was marginal and the bathroom was not very clean. Would not recommend.

Room was super clean & the AC worked wonders. It stayed pretty quiet at night which is great when you sleep in pretty late. Location is amazing. Everything you could need is minutes away.

Room was excellent, nice, fresh smelling, and clean. Sheets, floors and towels, ALL CLEAN. Water is hot and the staff I dealt with (Rick and I can't remember his wife's name, very sweet lady) are nice. Close to places to eat and other services. I will be using them again in the future.

It is not a pretty hotel. It is dated and cheap; HOWEVER, the people are very friendly, the building is clean, the coffee is always flowing, and the beds are very comfortable. So while it is as far from glamorous, it is a comfortable place to lay your head for a very affordable rate.

I did not like anything about this place very dirty! Disrespectful to charge people to even stay in that dump!

I really don't know where to begin, so Ill just start with the basics. I know its Super 8 and you get what you paid for but when you list on your website microwave and fridge in every room and me and my family have 3 rooms we want a microwave and fridge in all 3 rooms. When we asked the front desk about it they said — its not guaranteed — false advertising! Then lets just talk about the amount of dirt in stains EVERYWHERE! You know with the bedbug epidemic the first thing people are going to do is pull back the bed so at least run the vacuum cleaner behind the bed by the head board — no. There was hair, popcorn kernels etc but thank goodness no bedbug fragments but I sprayed anyways. The Bathroom just gross. But I always travel with cleaning supplies. But stained towels, stained shower curtains come on now this doesn't have anything to do with being a lower budget hotel, this is just pure laziness and nastiness. Then I left a note asking, pleading for the bed to be vacuumed and the bathroom to be thoroughly cleaned. Never happened. All in all lets just say it wasn't worth the amount of money I saved — if I wanted to clean a hotel I would have applied for the job.

Use super 8 about once a year when coming to visit family I've had no problems with super 8 has always been good for me.

I travel for work and I stay in hotels anywhere between 12-18 nights a month. Unfortunately my company limits our hotel reimbursement to $60 which affords me very little when it comes to quality lodging. However, this place was truly horrific. I would almost rather sleep in my car than go back. It starts when you pull into the parking lot. This place looks like someone smoked a 3 story pack of cigarettes and blew all of the tar and yellow goop onto the building. The parking lot is stained and dirty as is the building itself. You walk inside and immediately feel like you're out of place because you forgot to bring a prostitute with you. Unfortunately I booked through priceline so the room was non refundable; otherwise I would've turned around and ran. The girl at the counter was completely awful. I literally was dumbfounded by how rude and uncaring this woman was. Then again maybe she was having a bad day. I would be having a bad day too if I worked at this dump. Our conversation was two sentences long. "Let me see some ID", "Okay here you go. " I asked what room I was in and she just rolled her eyes and pointed at the number written on the back of the keycard slip. Eff me right? This room was straight out of the opening of a B Horror Movie. Danky, dirty, disgusting, and most of all: Yellow. That same nicotine-stained-teeth yellow that permeated the parking lot and lobby continued in the room. Everything was brown yellow.

My experience at this hotel was completely disgusting. Nothing in the room was clean, but at least the people at the front desk gave me my money back and were friendly.

I travel 2 to 3 weeks a month and never been so unhappy! Pulled back the top sheet and there were body fluid stains all over the sheets. Not cool I will never stay here again.

I’ve had friends who have stayed here and it’s not bad as long as you’re not in town during a special event when they jack their prices up. Otherwise, it’s just your typical Super 8: you get what you pay for.

The lady that checked us in was very unfriendly. Charged us an extra $50 for having 4 people instead of 2. Oh well, I guess I can live with that. We got a smoking room but no ash trays in the room. Asked the lady if we could get some ash trays in the room since they weren't provided. She told me she didn't think they had any but that she would check storage. I then asked her if she could bring it by our room and she said, "No, if I find one, i'll bring it to the front desk and you can get it yourself. " — Carpets were dirty. — Linens were not clean. — Showers never stayed at a constant temperature. Hot to cold to steaming hot to ice cold. — AC unit didn't work well. Air kept turning off and on. Had to keep it at a "Very Cold" setting and still woke up in a pile of sweat. — Bathroom door didn't shut properly. — If you want any toilet-tree items, you have to buy them out of the vending machine. — No cups were provided. You provide a coffee maker but no cups? You provide an ice bucket but no cups? — Delicious breakfast? Woke up at 8:00 each morning and found only one muffin in the muffin container and about 5 fruit loops in the cereal container. Awesome breakfast let me tell you! Do not stay at this motel unless your just looking for a trashy, cheap, smelly place to stay.
