This place is absolutely hideous! I've never been this disappointed. Blaring rap music all night, a TV that doesn't work, and the phone in the room didn't work either! Called front desk and was told that they would come to fix it and never did!

Room's were nice & affordable.

The manager was excellent, he made us feel very welcome and personally made sure that we had a great experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and pleasant to stay at with my husband. We came to town for a business meeting and enjoyed a early check in to get rest after a long drive. We were very thankful for the staffs kindness and will definitely be making reservations there again next time we come to town.

The pool and was clean the only issue we had was the carpet in the room was very nasty, and might need repainting the places where the pictures were looks like they just to them off the wall and didn't do anything to cover up the spot they were at, plus the bathroom was falling apart, ceiling tissue holder is broken and just musty.

One star and that’s more than it deserves never been in a more disgusting place. Room was filthy. The grounds were worse as there was garbage rotting out on the balcony and sidewalks. Site also did not feel safe as there was what looked like illegal activity going on in the parking lot. I got a refund and left and went down the street. Paid a little more but it was well worth the piece of mind.

Had made a reservation, but when we opened the door to the room we saw it hadn't been cleaned and it smelled musty and of cigarettes. We were refunded and stayed elsewhere.

Pool needs to be skimmed more often and a couple of Wi-Fi points added… Clean rooms, friendly service. Billing issue handled quickly and professionally.

Chose to stay at this hotel for the weekend, got into our supposedly non-smoking rooms, and was greeted with a room that reeked of smoke. All of the sheets and pillowcases had stains on them, and our plumbing did not work properly. On top of this, we witnessed people out at night checking on doors to see if any were opened. Night ended with the police being called on this establishment. Let me make this clear—DO NOT STAY HERE. Unfriendly reception, dirty accomadations, and an unsafe environment.

Quickly regretted staying here. Rooms are spacious good value for the $ but the customer service is greatly lacking. Didn’t get a receipt when I checked in so I checked my bank account, 4 different charges for 3 different amounts. Called front desk who stated “I know I fixed it, it will return to your account. When I asked when… ”Ummm, tomorrow? ” No apology or anything and they overcharged me $200. Called back a little later to let them know there is no bathtub plug and that we can not change channels on the tv. Said they would talk to the maintenance man about the bathtub tomorrow and see what they could do about the TV remote. She said by the way I’m getting noise complaints from the room below you I don’t know if it’s your kids or what. I have a 3 year old and they put us on the top floor with wooden floors. She wasn’t doing anything I would have thought was causing excessive noise. So if you have little ones make sure to ask for a first floor room. Never heard anything back about the tv. And the $ is not back in my account or pending to be deposited. The pool is nice but only open 9a-9p.

Paint falling off of the walls and ceiling… Bathroom fixtures loose and falling off… TV did not work… Easily in the top 2 or 3 worst rooms we've ever stayed in…

The desk people were pleasant. Breakfast could be better. Room was clean but beds were uncomfortable have a dip in the mattress.

I'm a platinum diamond member at choice hotels. This hotel cannot be beat for service and prices. I definitely recommend checking out.

Is actually a lot better than you think it's going to be. The breakfast is pretty good too.

Very large, clean rooms at a reasonable rate. Certainly worth the few extra dollars to avoid the Fares Ave motel strip.

Love going through the summer. The staff are extremely nice. And prices are very fair.

Just to start with if you have allergies this is not the hotel to go to. Something in the office set off my allergies right off the bat. After we got to our room we had to call the office to see about moving to another room since it sounded like a whole circus was above us practicing. The counter worker seemed very unhappy with the fact of having two switches to another room. The first room look like it was no renewed and everything the second room they should have had closed off until they had renovated it. My husband got up to go to breakfast the next morning hurting I woke up hurting we both slept in a hole in the mattress it was like an uncomfortable nest. He was just in a hurry to go get something to eat he said that the orange juice was frozen the coffee was frozen and he wasn't going any further from that cuz he said nothing there looked edible. So I'm there at checkout and for us to get back our deposit we had to wait for her to walk across the parking lot to the room and look at it to give us back our deposit now this is in the office that it smelled of something that I could not stay in and breathe. If you needed to stay somewhere this would be the place to stay if you had no other choice after they renovate maybe but if you get a room those nut renovated do not expect to get a good night's rest.

The room was spacious, comfortable. Memory foam bed. Nice fluffy pillows. Satellite. Wi-Fi. Free breakfast. 24 hour coffee in the lobby. Now here's the bad, carpets were stained and the continental breakfast area could use a face lift. That's my only complaint, hardly disappointed. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Staff were nice. I even parked my tractor next to the pool.

Exceeded my expectations! Will definitely come here again over the choices further North that are in this price range. Room was clean, quiet area, and staff at front desk were friendly and informative and the housekeeper was helpful as could be.

Hotel is newly remodeled & outstanding! The room was very clean & came with all amenities. The bed was new & very comfortable & the continental breakfast was great with a big variety! The hotel employees are kind & courteous especially the manager John went above and beyond to make sure me & my family's stay was 100% satisfactory. Will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel. I've stayed there every time I come to town for work, just about every weekend each month for the last several months.
All the staff are extremely friendly and courteous and always treat me great!
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, A/C works, Internet is fast, TV has lots of channels… everything I need. No issues whatsoever! Definitely recommend this EconoLodge!

Love this place. I stay here every year for the Nut Club Festival. Great rooms great price.

The EconoLodge provided reasonably priced rooms when we needed to stay in Evansville. The front desk lady that checked us in, Melissa was wonderful and extremely helpful and we ended up bonding over Green Day (i was on my way returning home from seeing them) she was just a really chill person.

Rooms are big and spacious. We didn't have towels in our bathroom, the tub and floor was dirty. There was a small bottle of lotion on the sink, soap left in the shower… Could use some work in the bathroom… And the pool is messed up… Stairs need fixing… And I killed a roach in the bathroom… The bed is hard as a rock but I slept pretty good… Like the way the rooms are laid out just could use a little work on them.

1st thing I asked when making reservation if they had a pool we get there and the pool is unavailable I asked for how long attendant told me oh it'll be fine tomorrow we are now leaving the hotel without once setting foot inside of this green pool. (We were there for a week) The room was of decent size but the beds were broken at thebox spring, the water pressure in the shower was minimal. I'm bringing issues up with front desk they could care less highly disappointed in my accommodations after a 16-hour Drive all we wanted was pool, relaxation and fun time with the family.

Stayed there this weekend. Booked two rooms. Paid way to much to get there and find such a filthy, run down, outdated, sketchy place. Locals rented to live there. It was scary in more ways than one. We should get our money back! These pics of the place are not accurate at all! Sorry. I don't usually speak so straight forward. But it was awful!

Outdoor pool was great, breakfast was small but delcious. Waffle maker and chocolate waffles were on point.

Good hotel and price was good. Big rooms with Wi-Fi. My kids loved the pool that they had. Breakfast was nice too next day. It was closer to the zoo which we went to next day also. Overall nice hotel.

Check in was fast and easy. Room was decent and clean. Was quiet and had no problems. Did not wake up in time for breakfast.

Hotel with exterior corridor so I got to park the car right outside my room which was nice the room is very big beds are nice and comfy the hotel was very packed so there were a lot of people into the swimming pool but the pool was really big so it was good it was 94 degrees outside so me and my family love the pool overall good experience.

The hotel was fairly clean but pretty outdated. The price was right but I doubt id take my family there due to the fact its a little rough.

The room was different to what I'm used to. The mirrors were behind the bed which was pretty cool. I didn't like how a mirror was right behind a toilet. Very awkward. I had to remind myself to not look back. The night staff were very nice but the morning staff were awful. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

Felt dingy and unsafe. Didn't enjoy it but needed a place to crash in between poker sessions.

Literally the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Horrible staff, most of the maids/maintenance men were on the sexual predator list (one of them being on there for rape) which was terrifying as I was alone with my daughter all day while my husband was at work. They advertise free breakfast, but don't mention that the offer only stands for people paying nightly rather than weekly. Worst two weeks of my life. Not to mention the place is disgusting. Our feet would be black just from the filthy floors, and we couldn't have maid services, obviously. The manager told me he was gonna punch me in the face because I felt it was wrong that they advertise free breakfast all over the website and even have a sign in the lobby stating it (with no note of it only being for nightly stays) not to mention the fact that we witnessed a drug deal every time we left the room. Absolutely horrible. I have no clue how they haven't been closed down by health inspectors.

The downside is its an older building in what looks to be a sketchier part of town, hence the reason it didn't get higher, but my room was clean, the rooms are large, it has some extras hotels it's price don't always have like a iron, and they have a decent breakfast (they have waffles it's not just cereal and toast.

The good: Low price; friendly employees; refrigerator and microwave in room; pet friendly; no sign of bed bugs; breakfast includes make-your-own waffles. The bad: Literally everything else. Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke; sink faucet was broken; shower was surrounded by mildew. Sheets were stained (though they did appear to have been washed). Beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Room was poorly insulated (huge air gaps around door) and got so cold at night I actually used my winter coat as a blanket. Room was not cleaned during our two-night stay, and we found belongings left by previous guests (including shoes, jewelry, papers) that had not been removed by housekeeping. Walls were thin, and we had to listen to a barking dog, a crying baby, and the neighbor's TV all night. Internet was fine at first, but stopped working on second day. Breakfast was an equally mediocre experience (except for the waffles), with stale bread, a broken toaster, and no tea or hot water. This wasn't the worst motel experience I've had, but if you have another option, take it instead.
