The second floor smells like curry, they never have enough towels to go around for everyone.

I love the people and the rubber duckie.

This place is running a scam! Do not stay here under any circumstances! I was charged a $150 fee for smoking in the room when both of us who stayed in the room are non smokers. Management refuses to issue a refund and even went as far as to say that they found cigarette ashes in the room. Absolute embarrassment to choice hotels.

The owner and his family are the kindest people. They make the extra effort to make sure the guests are happy.

Charged my card twice, rooms were clean but plumbing was bad. The coin laundry broke in the middle of our load and took us 6 hours to get it dry. Still have not received my money back.

Best hotel & services. General Manager, Pete Patel came to our room to fix the TV, not an engineer. Prices were low. Pet friendly hotel. Gorgeous room. Mirrored back wall behind two queen sized beds. Window reading lounge on top of low dresser. Elevator to 3rd floor for our handicapped room. Beautiful bathroom. Handicapped fully. Seat attached to wall in bathtub. Full disabled toilet with disabled fixtures. Heat lamps in ceiling of bathroom. Large breakfast in morning. More than many hotels, but you fix your own cereal, waffles, tea, coffee. Muffins, fruit, milk. This hotel was located in Evansville, IN, next to the hwy.

No pool the beds are not comfortable I don't like it.

The room was affordable, comfortable, and clean. They have breakfast, however I wasn't able to eat it because of how early I had to leave. The room was uncomfortable warm when we walked in, but the air conditioner quickly resolved that issue. There was even a cute little window bed. The room could have easily slept 5

Comfortable beds, AC worked very well. Was unable to partake in the free breakfast because I had to leave so early. Feel like I got more than my money's worth.

If you want to buy crack or a prostitute then this is your place! My family and I were confined to our car while the Evansville police evacuated the hotel for the active shooter and then the owners will not refund our money for not wanting to stay because of the bad experience this morning. They do not clean the rooms, notify you of having no water all day, and door locks do not work. The owners do nothing but deny of any incidents that happen. Heck they tell you they do not even own the property when clearly they do. Mrs owner is snooty and racist. This "Inn and Suites" belongs down on fares avenue and should rent by the hour.

Typical blue collar stay over place. Fair prices and continental breakfast. Fairly new. Someone urinated in our toilet before our arrival, but staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Refurbished pretty nice convenient to downtown evansville.

Simple but good. The room was a bit outdated, but for the price, was great. Decent breakfast too. Would definitely stay again.

We were driving across the country, and only needed a clean bed for a few hours of sleep. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. The a. M. And p. M. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, nice amount of space, and comfortable. It also had free Wi-Fi. In the morning we had waffles and good coffee and we were still on our schedule. Lovely doing business with them.

My parents always stay here when they come to visit. It has the best senior prices in Evansville. However, they do have a couple of small complaints. The walls are thin, so there can be a fair bit of noise, and the beds are a little hard. Still, they have stayed there many times, so it mustn't be too bad.

This hotel is horrible didnt get towels and the staff are rude except Trina. Breakfast isnt on time. And Pete (the owner) his wife is racist and completely rude. I wouldn't stay here again.

Clean rooms, breakfast is good and not too crowded compared to other places.

The room was flithy. The sink was stopped up. The toilet was backed up. The sheets on the bed was dirty and there was used soap in the shower. I talked to the front desk about it and the lady's attitude was like she could care less. The whole experience was unacceptable.

Management and staff are super friendly. Rooms are nice and located next to highway and other convenient stores and attractions. I checked the rooms and bed bugs run this location just as bad as their other location woodcreek. Avoid all these properties. I know the owner and he knowingly houses sex offenders but doesn't make it aware to families at check in. These locations have alot of bad that go on here.

It was the worst hotel ever. Do not go here. THEY HAVE BED BUGS.! I got bite one night they gave me another room and they torn me up. Had to get up this morning at 1am and left this hotel even though we was supposed to be there until Monday. Just nasty I have picture and video but it won't let me put it up. Do not come to this nasty place! bed bugs everwhere!

This is one of the nicest places to stay. The staff is great. And the owner is the friendliest person in the world. Always willing to help.

DO Not Go here! Are 6 hours spent here was a nightmarish. When my husband and I arrived in the middle of the night we thought it was a hail mary. We had be driving for hours in order to see the solar eclipse the next day. We call 5 other hotels hoping to get a room but everything was booked full. Which we expected. So when we found a room at the Eco lodge we took it. We were exhausted. When we entered the hotel it smelled like mothballs. The woman at the desk was kind, gave us our key and pointed in the direction of our room. We open our room door and the smell hit me like a wall. So I turned on the air conditioner hoping it was because the day had been so humid and the room was closed off. That only helped the smell a bit. It smelled of mildew, human urine​ and something else I couldn't pinpoint. The bedding smelled and felt damp. Underneath the top bedding was a blanket and then sheets. The blanket a burn holes like from a cigarette and was stained. The fire alarm looked like it hadn't been touch in 20 years. This place was beyond disgusting but it was the only chance my husband could get some sleep before we had to be back on the road. I never got to sleep. The smell was overwhelming. At just before 6 am we checked out but not before asking to speak with the manager. The same girl at the desk from the night before called for the manager in charge.

Would not ever stay here again! Room smelled like wet dog, no coffeemaker, no hairdryer, no microwave, no ironing board or iron, only 2 towels, torn carpet, stained bedding, etc. Asked to use an iron and the one they gave me poured water out of it and puy a huge black spot on my husband's new white Tommy Hilfiger shirt. I showed it to the clerk and she could have cared less! Shirt ruined! Don't waste your time booking here! Trashy.

Wonderful, wonderful staff here! If my rating were just based on staff I would give this EcoLodge 5 stars (I have a few constructive criticisms in small other areas which led to the 4 stars, but these small things can be improved. The small issues did not bother me, personally, but I wish to present them as the average traveler may be more critical. I seek to improve; not disapprove). Firstly, the staff. Terrific! After visiting Silver Dollar City the day before and having a blast I departed Branson ready to head to Evansville, IN. Unexpectedly, the following six to seven hour drive contained enough "stranger than fiction" moments and plot twists to fill an indie film. I was clear-headed yet completely exhausted by the time I arrived after missing certain exits and arriving at the wrong EcoLodge (just a few of the twists that night). By the time I finally arrived to this EcoLodge (where I booked the room) it was 6am. I was completely exhausted and loopy. Before I arrived, I had called and spoken to Corey who was incredibly kind, compassionate and helpful. He even called me back with accurate driving info to assure that I was headed in the proper direction. By the time I finally arrived, Corey said he had been concerned since I hadn't arrived earlier, helped me swiftly check in, offered me a few early breakfast items, and also hooked me up with a check-out time that would allow me a healthy time for sleep prior to final road trip.

Not a bad hotel. Clean and convenient.

Discussed health problems at check in, but was told there was an elevator so was put in a 3rd floor room. We were there for 9 days and the elevator was broken on multiple occasions making it necessary to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to and from the room. It caused me breathing problems also when the toilet was stopped up the desk clerk handed me a plunger rather than calling maintenance.

Our visit was over all good, breakfast was excellent, services was good, and assistance with city knowledge was good. We did have a spider alive found in our bed, lost a star there and a microwave in room would have been nice.

Good budget-level motel right next to freeway — but I never heard any traffic noise in my lower-level room. Plenty of parking, and right on a major thoroughfare where you can find many restaurants and other businesses. Free Wi-Fi, sparse but tasty breakfast (no hot dishes; pancake maker which I did not try out). I ended up staying over a week, and the front desk staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. Not fancy or luxurious. Keep your expectations in line and you will be happy.

When we walked in the room, it reeked of cleaning chemicals. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. My husband and I kept rolling towards each other into the middle, and I woke after a brief sleep in a lot of pain. I had to get up and try to sleep in the window seat! We looked at the breakfast, and there were no eggs and only three biscuits left, and the donuts didn't look very appealing, so we skipped it altogether. I complained about the bed in the morning and asked to be moved to a room with a king or two full beds. I was told there were no other rooms available, and that I would not receive a refund for checking out early and not staying the second night. The manager was not in (it was 8:45 in the morning) ; I told the staff person that the manager's only two options were to move us to another room or refund the second night, or else I would file a dispute with my credit card company and report the discomfort and lack of customer service on Tripadvisor. She called me about an hour after we left for the day (for Holiday World) and said we would be moved to a suite on the first floor when we returned that evening. The bed was the same awful queen bed, but the room didn't smell like chemicals this time. There was a wedge pillow on the window seat, so I took that and shoved it under my hips and lower back to keep me from laying at a slant and rolling into the middle of the bed.

We didn't stay much longer than a night, so it worked well enough. It's really close to some nice restaurants, so food isn't a problem. The breakfast could be better, but other than that, the stay was just fine.

When I went to check in at about 9:30 on a Thursday night, there was a sign that stated the front desk clerk was assisting a customer. About 10-12 minutes later she came back. Not long perhaps, but after an afternoon and evening shuffling through airports, getting rental cars, and driving to the hotel, it seemed like forever. I had reserved on-line and selected my room using HHonors miles and just needed keys. My key was listed as staying until 12-6-16, so I don't know if it was keyed correctly or not and it needed fixed. I wasn't greeted as a member and didn't even get offered a bottle of water, which is typical at most of my Hilton stays. After the check-in, everything was fabulous. We stayed 2 nights, room was clean and cleaned well. Breakfast was good and fresh and the location is perfect for our needs while in town. So, aside from the check-in (maybe a little training is in order) we had a very good stay.

You get what you pay for (always remember that). For what I paid for this room I would HIGHLY recommend it. It was conveniently close to the interstate and shopping. It is about 15 min from the casino (which was fine for me). It was a good size room for just myself, so it just had one big bed. Bed is a little too squeaky though.

Never go here ever! They lied and said we stole a blanket and billed us 50 dollars. Then when I went to the bathroom a per of girls underwear fell on my hand from the light.

The checkin was good but when it came to the AC. It sounded like it was possessed. When I turned it off it got hot. Really quick. So no sleep in a snug room which had a knocking ass ac.

This econo lodge of evansville was filthy… the suite was NOT cleaned at aall. Nasty!

The front desk people at this location are very rude. They received a free pizza, and chose to treat the driver like garbage. They expect a free pizza to brought directly to them from a driver that makes less than minimum wage, has to pay more for insurance than most people and pay for their own gas and don't feel the driver deserves a tip. If this is how they run their hotel, thy deserve no customers, and I would suggest the Drury in just down the street from them.

It was pretty nice the only thing I dislike was when its check out time they always find some reason to not give u your deposit back. Other than that I enjoy my stay in at This hotel.

I stayed at the econolodge several times, even an extended stay many of those times. I was checking out of my room, as usual, and they checked my room or smoke. I always pay in cash so I paid a $25 deposit. I was told that there was smoke in my room… I don't smoke! I went upstairs to look for myself and the younger Indian guy in standing with his arms crossed in the doorway. He picks up a redbull can out of the trash with black stuff of the edges and says I smoked bc of that. Wouldn't give me my deposit back and threatened to charge me $250. There was no smell in the room, no ashes, no bothing. I cussed him out and told him I will never be staying there again. Wow. Horrible way to treat your regular guests! I don't recommend staying here at all!
