Discreet tucked away hotel in the center of the bustling city. Walking distance to restaurants, the L, food market and beautiful scenic views of the Lake, Willis Tower and the city as a whole. 40 floors up, this view definitely does not disappoint. Very Secure.

The views are EVERYTHING! Staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Bed is very comfy. Hotel is within walking distance to major attractions and city transportation. Unfortunately the tablet and hairdryer were not working but it wasn't a big thing to me. The athletic club isn't open due to Covid but that's no fault of the hotel.

Arrived on a Sunday late afternoon and was assisted by a very warm and nice hotel security lady who handed us over to the hotel personnel.
liked the security levels of the entire building, gave us a peace of mind. Room was gorgeous. Will definitely be booking again. Shout out to Shell. Thank you.

I totally enjoyed my six nights stay here at the Buckingham Hotel. Had a large suite with outstanding views. Comfortable premium bedding for a great night's sleep. This is definitely the highest of hotels I've ever stayed at. Counted 855 steps climb to reach the top floor of the rooms.

We loved everything about this hotel! Parking is significantly less expensive than any of the other Loop hotels. The room was as advertised, instead of being a closet with a bed shoved into it, and the view was breathtaking! Easy walk to countless sightseeing and dining options and conveniently situated between all of the city's "L" stations. The staff was very friendly, and the amenities were generous. Even their mini bar was reasonably priced, as such things go. I travel a lot, and this was by far the best experience I've had in a long time. Definitely coming back!

The service was not that great A little tough to navigate however the view is like no other… biggest problem for this hotel is parking.

Great Hotel, very quiet, awesome city and lake front views hotel is located on the 40th fl and the location is within walking distance of all downtown attractions.

Similar situation as with Thuy Nguyen happened to me. Started heavy rain and I hided on the porch for about 2 mints and employee from reception run out and rudely shooed me off. Never had experience like this before.

Everything about my stay was wonderful (except parking)! The views from our room were spectacular and I can’t wait to come back!

This is not regarding the condos but the employee in the foyer. We were waiting for our uber and it was hot out so we took cover under their outdoor space near the plants. Within 2 minutes an employee came out and rudely shooed us off the property. So we walked 8 steps towards the sidewalk and stood under the sun. I've never been treated like that before, this was the first bad experience we had in Chicago.

I lived in Harbor Point two buildings down with my parents just out of college. I always loved the floor plans at Buckingham Beautiful views. Many more buildings near since 1987.

Great view at the roof top, rooms are nice, service is great by the staff, and all around is a great place to live for the summer!

Love the staff, the space, the location, the location, the location! We are on year 3 and so glad we moved here.

From having to park at a seperate entity and having to pay 38.50 for parking. No directions on how to get to the hotel from the parking lot. Homeless people around. I do not recommend. Yes the view is awesome but not worth the stress.

I've had a great experience at the Buck so far this summer! Great location and a great staff. I strongly recommend if your interning in the Chicago area.

Great location on the 40th floor. Really good views of the Sears tower.

This is a nice condo tower of about 300 homes spread across 44 floors. There's a nice indoor pool and a sundeck atop the building. People love this place because of the location so close to Millennium and Maggie Daley parks… and of course Michigan Avenue shopping and cultural destinations. It's a great spot to call home.

Stayed three nights. Room was just fine. View of City as not a suite but that was nice too. I found it very convenient as it was right off the L from O'Hare and a reasonable walk to the water, the Field Museum and more. Lots of places to eat close by. I found the staff very helpful. Shower was a bit weak on pressure but a tub big enough to take a bath in was a nice surprise. More expensive during the week but no complaints compared to other options.

The Buckingham is a great place for students to live in the summer! The location is perfect for internships downtown and there is always security on staff. Plus the view over Lake Michigan and Grant Park cannot be beat. Would highly recommend!

I love living in the Buckingham! Where do I begin? The location is prime. The views are great. The security is top notch, I always feel safe! The rooms are spacious and clean. The people are nice and welcoming. When we had a problem with our washer and dryer, management was very timely in fixing it. I wouldn't trade living in the Buckingham for anything, it has really enhanced my experience in Chicago this summer!

The Buckingham has been an excellent place to stay for the summer. We have new floors and a new couch put in our room. The staff is helpful and responsive and the facilities are great throughout the complex. Walter, the head of security, does an excellent job of keeping the building safe and secure. I would definitely recommend the Buckingham to any student in the Chicago area.

So far has been a great experience! Very nice security guards, beautiful views of the lake & Buckingham fountain and a spacious, modern living space. Includes a washer & dryer in the unit, a nice workout room and many other perks. I would definitely recommend living here.

I am loving my stay at the Buckingham! It is the perfect place for students and summer interns to live. It's location in the Loop is conveniently located next to great shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The athletic club was not open during our stay, there was no ice available, and we only got one wash rag each day, even though we asked for a second — — — just not what you expect when you're paying over $250 per night. The advertised breakfast that is included turned out to be a continental, for all intents and purposes, some false advertising here. Disappointing. On the flip side, the view of the financial district and Lake Michigan is a win. So are the folks at the front desk — — — cordial and helpful. Ultimately, in this price-bracket, the angels are in the details. There weren't enough of them to warrant the price.

You have no more than 3 stars is a mistake: spacious, comfortable, clean, bathrooms, well equipped, good staff, all wonderful.

The hotel itself is very nice with a wonderful view of the city, especially from the suite rooms. I stayed in the English suite one night and the room and view were great. It is a little inconvenient getting around as you have to transfer elevators a few times. The front desk staff were great and very helpful, particularly Angela; however, the athletic club staff were rude and obnoxious. Not a place for children, as they have a rule of no children allowed in the pool.

My workout trainer tony is wonderful, I like this place they give me motivation. I have lost 48 pounds on a diet seperate to this facility but I lost an additional 52 coming here. They love their clients. I am so happy with this club.

Best views ever from a hotel and can't beat the price. New favorite vacay spot.
