Great hotel with excellent service! Our room was spacious and very clean. We had an amazing view of the river. We were here to see a concert at the House of Blues which is right next to here so that was so nice! We will definitely stay here again!

It was good to living here with peace but cafe was bad never get food on time. Most of the time they did not answer your phone. ⭐️ for cafe.

Location! location! location! … the hotel is in the best location in the city and I now because I uesd to live in chicago and sold diamonds hear for 23 years… small rooms but very modern you can connect the TV to your phone! … the bed is comfortable and the bathroom big. The staff are osom friendly and helpful… I totally recommend. :)

Nice hotel with friendly service. Typical club quarters amenities… snacks and good coffee including espressos and cappuccinos in the "living room". Smaller rooms as is also typical but great location downtown one block fronts of shopping and restaurants on the miracle or magnificent mile. There is a restuarant off the lobby which looked good but I did not try. There are also yoga mats and some equipment for working out in your room and the gym has peloton exercise bikes.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! We stayed with a large group and the staff (especially Seth) went to great lengths to group our rooms together and make sure we were comfortable. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, well maintained, and the staff is friendly and professional. Previous reviews state the rooms were small which is somewhat true but no more small than other downtown hotels. We have had smaller rooms in NYC and didn’t feel it impacted our comfort at all. They have a social hour with free wine and light snacks which was nice for our large group to sit and formulate plans. This is a great location as well, close to plenty to do within walking distance.

I've been here a few times and never disappointed. The bed was very good, I slept better here than in most hotels. The staff are polite and efficient. Great location too. This is my go to hotel in Chicago.

Amazing hotel for an amazing price. The staff were all very pleasant, the room was clean, and the view of the river was a fantastic bonus. We also made great use of the free snacks and water bottle filling stations. To top it all off, the location was perfect! Millennium park and the waterfront were within walking distance, we easily got to and from the "L", and were super close to all of the shops and restaurants along the Magnificent Mile. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Overall it a good hotel if you are going with your love one, the rooms are very small but fine for the night. My husband and I got one room with queen size bed and un small bath. The vie was great and we were out for most of the day. Closed to Michigan Ave and great restaurants. Closed to the water taxis and boat tours. Great stay!

So you pay $200/night in the summer which is not really a low price. Staff is nice. Cleanness is acceptable but two spiders inside the room within 3 days of checking in already is inexcusable. It reached 95F in Chicago, which is not unusual in the summer, and the AC wasn't working. After 3, at least 3-hour apart requests starting in the early morning to have someone look at it, the engineer came and said turn the fan off, which we did, and it got worse. Crept up from 75F to 80F in the middle of a steamy summer day and all they can do about it is 'get us a fan'. Not staying here next time, the time after, or the time after. I stayed in plenty of hotels/motels ranging from 2 to 5 stars. CQ hotel rates, for me, as a 2-star hotel. No Way On Earth a 4-star hotel. The only thing this place can brag about is the location, everything else is well below average.

Great location. The rooms are pretty small, but you don't really spend too much time in the room anyways. Try getting a river view if possible, the other views aren't too impressive.

Location is great! I was here for business so I didn't get the biggest room. The room I got was small but it had everything I needed for a quick stay and no time in the room. I was impressed with the hotel. Very clean.

Very small rooms; more like closets. Roughly the size of two queen beds. Window doesn't open or let in any light, temp stays high despite setting it to 62 degrees and TV didn't work for more than a couple minutes on end before it froze and emitted a static hiss. If you have any claustrophobic tendencies, this isn't the place for you. That aside, the turn of the century aesthetic is charming and the amenities are easy to use.

Our stay was overnight for two nights, a second honeymoon. We got one of the smaller rooms. Which was cozy and sufficient but without much in the way of extras. The location is great, central to several eateries and the magnificent mile, and millennium and grant parks. Would stay here again.

4 day stay at this hotel and it was nice. The room, although small, was clean and comfortable. Descent view and within walking distance of a variety of places to eat. A few nice amenities include continental breakfast foods (fruit, oatmeal, coffe/tea), after 5 wine service in a common area, refillable water stations (clean bottles available), and easy check-in/check out process. I will certainly stay at another Club Quarters hotel. Thanks.

This hotel is right in the downtown area, really convenient to any place. Room is compact but clean. I do find they don’t change the bed sheet during my four day stay there.

Very comfortable stay with everything you'd need. But the location is what makes the place great-on the river, and walking distance to everything downtown. Perfect stay.

Magnificent attention. The staff always willing to help in everything. In the room I was in, there was coffee maker, refrigerator, sink, cutlery, plates and mugs. The bed was very comfortable. Also on the 2nd floor, they have coffee, tea, snacks at no cost. And the best is the location. By the Riverside, a few blocks from "Cloud Gate", Millenium Park, Macy's, Ross, etc.

Had a great stay! Loved the smaller room size and beautiful views of the river. The free snacks and drinks in the living room were very nice and appreciated. Restaurant staff were attentive and generous and deep dish pizza was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. A real refuge in this cold season!

We did stay for 3 days total, the TV never worked right. We got it fixed 3 times, it did work for 10 minutes and then the voices were up to 10 seconds delayed in time to the video. So no change to even enjoy watching. During check, as we claimed we were not that satisfied because of that, we just got a 'oh I am sorry to hear that' The bathroom was not so clean either. There was plenty of water and old toothpaste stains around the faucet and in the sink. The coffee maker in the lobby did not work. We did stay there 2 years prior and were very satisfied. But due to our experience at this say now. We might look for an alternative next time.

The room that we received was one of the smallest I've seen, the bed was very firm, small and uncomfortable. There was no refrigerator in the bedroom. However, the location is super convenient since it is close to everything, but there are many other hotels nearby. Staff was also friendly. Probably would request a bigger room next time or go to another hotel. Also, you receive complimentary water bottle and water station on the floor.

Excellent location, be sure to get a queen size bed if you booked a club room. We received a full size bed and it was terrible. After ask several times they changed us to a bugger room.

This hotel is perfectly located in downtown Chicago within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. It was easy to find. The staff was very accommodating. The first night there was a slight buzzing noise in our room that we determined was the mini fridge. Since we didn't need the fridge they sent maintenance up to unplug it for us. We did not at first have enough wash cloths for two people in the room, but they brought us up some upon request. There was coffee in our room, but each morning we took advantage of the lounge's coffee, tea, fruit and granola bars. In the afternoon there was soda, candy and various trail mixes available. The bed in our room wasn't the most comfortable but was fine for two nights. We also really appreciated the complimentary bottled water stations on each floor. Overall, especially considering the price, we were extremely happy with out stay here and would definitely return.

Excellent hotel downtown on the river. It's conveniently located in downtown Chicago with great rooms and a great staff. There is a restaurant in the hotel and everything is nearby. You also have a view of the river in some rooms. Definitely recommend for anyone in Chicago.

Not impressrd. Hot. Temp 94 outside, 80 inside and changing the AC did nothing. Bed sagged, charged extra for my wife ($20/day! ). Said to have area with snacks… but they were always out of stock. 2 elevators for 31 floors. So what I thought I would save in time by staying here ended up costing me more for a smaller, hotter room, with 20 minute waits for the elevator. Checked out early to stay at the hotel next door.

The staff here is the best! Nice free snack bar. I will say don't love the beds there a little hard but other wise fabulous.

Amazing staff, forgot my outfit for a wedding in the car and they ran out to get it. Very accommodating and courteous, checked us in early as well. Only complaint about our stay had to do with loud guests, but it was Lallapalooza weekend!

Functional hotel right on the river. Rooms were small but not cramped. Bathroom was tiny but how much space do you really need. Elevators were super slow. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Id stay again.

Great location, friendly staff, and clean, well appointed rooms. Several nice touches, like snacks and beverages in the club room in the evenings. Rooms are smaller, but the price reflects that. Tour buses and River Walk right across the street, and architecture boat dock is just up the block. Only downside is having to look at the giant sign that says "TRUMP" every time you walk out the front door.

Spent a week in this hotel and was very happy with the room. Free filter water and bottles available in the foyers was a welcome treat. The laundry worked well. Room service was good. One day my room was not serviced, but reception sorted it out within minutes of my reporting it. Breakfast at the downstairs restaurant was adequate.

It's a really nice hotel for going out on the town within walking distance to most everything. I bring food when I fly, and would have really liked a microwave in the room, or at least access to one. I used the Keurig to heat water, so at least my water was hot. My cold meal on the other hand, was well… cold.

This isn't a breathtaking hotel by any means, but if you're looking for a nice, affordable hotel right downtown, look no further. My girlfriend and I stayed here on a visit to Chicago and the location was absolutely perfect. The room was on the smaller side, but if you're visiting Chicago and spending a lot of time in your room then you may want to reconsider even going on vacation. I was really surprised that the daily rate was as low as it was. I'd recommend this hotel.

Today was my first day of a three night stay at the Club Quarters on 75 E Upper Wacker Drive in Chicago, IL. I have to tell you that I'm not impressed. There is only one elevator that works. This is very inconvenient and uncomfortable as no one cares about your personal space. The amount of time it takes waiting on the elevator is ridiculous. The suite was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The sofa bed needs to be thrown away. It is coming apart at the seams. And, there were no hand towels or wash cloths. We had to ask for some upon arrival as well as a "Do Not Disturb" sign to place on the door handle. Lucky for this place the staff is pleasant.

I am staying in a superior room. Despite the old age of the rooms, there is plenty of space and it's clean. Maids are always friendly and reception was helpful. I also liked the free nibbles they have on offer during the day. Overall a nice hotel and I would return again.

The staff is very friendly and attentive but the structure itself is pretty old and the building is very confusing, it took me 20 minutes to find the gym in the basement. The rooms are ok, they're just small and narrow. The one elevator was broken so it took an incredible amount of time the go up and down. But overall it's a decent place.

The hotel was located in a perfect area for sightseeing. We parked our car at the Wacker parking lot and worked out to 28 or so dollars a day which saved us a lot of money, the staff was very friendly. Our room had a great view of the river so I would definitely recommend a view of that. The room was clean but a bit small. Overall I would go back to this hotel.

Great location BUT only 1 elevator working so the wait to get to your room or from your room was over 15 minutes, during peak hours I waited 25 minutes. Then to add insult to injury they gave us a "sorry card" with 2 chocolate candies. Fast forward to just wanting a drink… I was sent to two different vending machines in the hotel — floor 9 only had OJ and then the other machine both of my drinks were flat. I'm really disappointed!

Club Quarters is under rated! I have been travelling to Chicago for 15 years for business and have stayed at most of the hotels by Wacker and Michigan. This place outperforms well beyond it's price point. I was so impressed with the staff! I was very well taken care of and the restaurant was awesome. My daughter (7) and I were there for an American Girl Store visit and we were very happy. Nice rooms but we knew ahead of time the basic one was small. No big deal at all as the quality compares to the pricier places. We WILL be back!

Terrible — stayed here in March for 4 nights and I froze. Apparently their heat/ac was in neutral mode (whatever this means) so I could not get heat in my room. They offered me extra blankets but I should not have to freeze while working around my conference schedule. I would not recommend this place.

Stayed overnight for Valentines day. They have a parking garage where you get a discount so it was $28 vs $44. They offer complimentary water bottles and water which is nice. We brought out own water bottles so we didn't need theirs. The internet in this hotel was ridiculously fast. I was very impressed. It clocked in at 95.55 Mbps. I brought my Chromecast and plugged it into the TV and was able to stream Hulu from my phone. They also offer complimentary keurigs in the room. Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel.

Though it was located in the heart of downtown, it took several minutes for me to LOCATE the building! Upon arrival, a valet parker gave me options where to park. Then, upon check in (dec. 22) horrible things happened with the front desk. Very exhausted because of the 15 hours drive, the front desk (hard to find too) Was NOT ACCOMODATING AT ALL! He just led me to the computer screen, printed the available room and that was it! I returned to him twice when I realized that there was only 1 bed. He didn't bother look for any availability. Instead he immediately told me to upgrade it-which is $50/day (ripped off). I checked out 1 day early. Seth, (front mananger) upon knowing my feedback, gave me a voucher for their Italian restaurant and PROMISED TO DO SOMETHING on the 3rd day that I didn't stay.

WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD BILL FROM THIS PLACE! I had an early morning flight so I checked out from this place and left before 7 AM on Friday, November 27, 2015. On December 1, 2015 I see that an $82 charge popped up on my credit card bill, although the hotel stay was paid in full prior to my arrival. The hotel puts a $90 hold on your credit card for "incidentals. " When I checked out I was told the credit card hold was released because I had none, yet they added this charge for "a late check out" (yeah, right. How is 6:55 AM a late check out). This is the 2nd time these so called hidden charges occurred while I stayed at this hotel. And to add insult to injury, the guest services person stated "well don't yell at me, I'm only trying to help you. " What?! Get a life pal, when your company screws up TWICE, you are gonna get an irate customer. Time to find another favorite hotel!

Outstanding location and very accommodating staff. I feel like it was a bargain for the location with proximity to the park, the pier, and all things magnificent mile. Highly recommend this hotel. Only negative I could find was the bed felt like an older spring mattress, but again that's if I had to say anything bad about it. I definitely will stay here again.

The rooms were a bit small but I thought they still had plenty of amenities. Great location to explore around the city from. Concierge was helpful and friendly to us. Price seemed really good for the location.

Location is amazing. Very central. We frequently went back to our rooms throughout the day for quick breaks, naps, and to refill our water bottles with freshly filtered chilled complementary water. It was awesome. The hotel stay comes with free club lounge access that has free cappuccinos/coffee/tea and snacks (varies throughout the day — fruit, granola bars, biscotti, nachos etc). Computer stations, boarding pass printing, magazines and newspapers. In addition, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the building. This lounge service is usually offered at other hotel chains with Gold status or with an upgrade.

We visited Chicago for the first time from Toronto and stayed at the Quarters for 3 nights. Right from the start I knew that this would be a good stay mainly from the central location right on the river facing the beautiful Trump tower. We were greeted by Roman King who was a multi-task wizard. He was very pleasant in getting us settled in, and helped us get the river view and high level to avoid the busy traffic noise. Pros: — location: we walked everywhere! you do not want to take your car into downtown Chicago; — value: we paid around $200/night CDN which is a bargain compared to the hotels around us; — espresso machine! we did not buy coffee during the trip b/c the espresso machine was bomb! — bottled filtered water complimentary! I hate having to pay for water… — fast Wi-Fi; — complimentary ear plugs and eye masks at the front desk to help with your sleep; we grab this not for our sleep in the hotel, but for our train ride back home! -friendly staff — they all make an effort to smile and greet you. This is very important to my girlfriend and I; Cons: — smallest hotel room I have been to. This I anticipated however, from the reviews I read before booking; — no gym; — no mini fridge Overall, it served my girlfriend and I very well as we did not hang out in the hotel much. Despite the small room, we did not find it being a problem as we only cared for it to be clean and quiet for a restful sleep. And yes, the river view was a huge bonus!

Ok, there's a lot that is good about this hotel. Our room was dark. My bed was reasonably comfortable (though they could have provided a blanket in addition to the down comforter, especially given how low the ac in the room was set). Also, great location, right in downtown, between a Starbucks and a nice bar. However, the big problem for me was: terrible Wi-Fi! They advertised free high-speed Wi-Fi. This is totally false. The Wi-Fi was not merely slow, it was unstable. My internet disconnected every couple minutes and then typically took a few more minutes to reconnect. Wi-Fi is a very important feature in our day and age, especially when you likely have people coming to this hotel on business trips. If you're gonna advertise high-speed Wi-Fi, it's irresponsible not to deliver the goods.

When I started planing my trip to Chicago (for my husband's birthday) I did what you are doing right now, reading reviews on all the hotels in Chicago. When I came across Club Quarters, the price was right, the location seemed good, so I booked it. In every review I read, the same message came through, the rooms are small. Well, that was no lie. If you've ever been on a cruise, the room we had was even SMALLER than a cabin. So, if you need space or spend a lot of time in your room, this is not the hotel for you. With that said, the staff was incredibly friendly (Thank you Gerard and DeShawn) and the location was perfect! Anything extra we needed for the room (pillows, towels etc) was sent up right away. We were only in our room to sleep or to change for dinner, so after a while, the small space didn't bother us. So, if you're looking for a great location, friendly staff and a clean room — this is the place for you :).

While the rooms are quite small, the price was right and the location in downtown Chicago has been great for us to get around the city for our weekend visit. We didn't rent a car, so it has been nice to be able to get everywhere either on foot or with the train. One of the downsides was that our queen bed was just two twins pushed together. It's easy to fall into the crack between the beds. The amenities were great, free bottled water was a nice perk to stay hydrated while on vacation.
