Newly remodeled rooms and amazing service from the staff. Bar manager was incredible with service and High-end bourbon knowledge. I will stay again and again when I come back. Great front desk staff. Helpful and knowledgeable.

Noisiest room I’ve had in a long time. I also had a terrible time ordering from room service — phone rang forever, Had to call the front desk to find out if there was even anybody around, they said that yes the first and have just returned from delivering to another room and would call me back. I waited 15 minutes and I had to call her.

The front desk staff is wonderful and the cookies too!
However, upon arriving after a long day of travel, I got to my room and was unpleasantly surprised by the smell. The room smells as if the carpet has been wet many times and has taken on a musty funk. I sprayed the room with some perfume and turned the fan off not having the energy to complain. I settled in and attempted to turn on my t. V. — it did not function. I called the front desk and she was helpful by stating she would call engineering. The issue was resolved. The $28 in room service I ordered was delivered by an extremely kind man and the food was good. This hotel would benefit from some elbow grease and updating.

Old, dirty, musty… our confirmed, reserved room was out of service and took 30+ minutes to find us a room that did not fit our family (after being told they had no rooms). Although, we were offered 2 waters for their troubles… thanks.

Room 504 AC wasn’t working, the bed was leaning to the side, the buffet food was HORRIBLE… Front Desk lady was very nice. I requested to speak with the manager and he/she never returned my call!
This hotel is very old and it smells musty, not what I thought from a Hilton!

Originally they gave me a room that was assigned go someone else buy they attoned for it by giving me free breakfast for the length of my stay and a few bottles of water

Love the very convenient location for my work. The shuttles are great so that I don’t have to drive if I want to go somewhere. Friendly staff!

Convenient location. Good breakfast. We stayed here during our sons baseball tournaments and washing machines were very helpful. 9/9/18 Update: this place is still great! Really a great place for family stays!

This hotel does not match the quality nor professionalism that I expect from Hilton. When we first arrived at the hotel, there was a wedding reception being held in the lobby. This hotel has at least 5 conference/ball rooms and a bar area. That being said, I don't understand why my family had to "fight" our way through the lobby to the front desk. The wedding guest were allowed to block the entrance and clutter the lobby as they ate and socialized. We finally made it to the desk to check in and could barely hear nor converse to complete the check in. The room did not have a refrigerator nor a microwave. This hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast and our room did not have a room service menu. In short this is the most unprofessional Hilton I have ever visited. And this hotel is not family friendly.

Very clean and nice-looking lobby with friendly staff. I stayed in a room with two beds in it (with three other people). The room was clean but very cramped. Beds were much narrower than a queen. The bathroom was very hard to walk around in with multiple people. That being said, the hotel provided all of the necessary accommodations that we expected from a 3 star hotel.

Hotel is showing its age and is really not worth it given the excellent new hotel options around the area (e. G. Washingtonian). Everything from the room to fitness center felt dingy and uninviting. I found the bed uncomfortable and used. Hampton, Weston, Aloft, etc offer far superior bed comfort. On the plus side rates are quite low here which given the hotel's condition seems appropriate. Staff were all friendly but this place is in desperate need of renovations.

They are amazing here. They go above and beyond for their guests. Yesterday, when we got in, my mom realized that she didn't bring her body wash with her… she called the front desk and they said they haven't gotten their shipment in yet, but they would get it for her… she was told don't worry about it that's what we do for our guests… unfortunately I don't remember who she spoke with… but the customer service here and with the Hilton Brand is always amazing.

Rooms are clean, bed is super comfortable, location is awesome. I had dinner at the bar, and even though it was almost closing time, I was served fresh, hot, delicious fries, a fantastic Reuben, and fresh tea. The bartender seriously made my evening. In the morning I had another great meal, including an omelet. I always have a great experience at this hotel.

The hotel staff really makes it. They are the nicest people especially Phil. The shuttle is convenient and fun to take (Thanks Jose) and the experience was really quite good. It is an older hotel so don't expect it to be a five star, but it's well worth the money. It's also in a great location, near the metro and Gaithersburg has a lot of shops and restaurants. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful property from first stepping into the lobby to the most comfortable bed and high quality linens to the excellent breakfast buffet. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

NOT up to typical Hilton standards. Also, who in their bloody right minds allows a wedding to begin at 6am with ridiculously loud music? You can hear it throughout the entire hotel, and we’re on the 8th floor. This ruined the stay. Stay elsewhere.

The hotel was okay and the service was good. The cook was great! However, the hotel itself need a attention. The paint was flaking off in the bathroom, the elevators were dirty, and carpet in the halls is gross.

This is a modern, secluded and safe facility and setting. The staff are welcoming and the hotel has all the amenities you would expect at a Hilton.

4 stars. Very nice hotel. 30 mins from DC. Only stayed one night on a family road trip. Room was a little small but well kept. Glass on the floor in the hallway was there from check-in until check-out. Only one of three elevators worked for a few hours in the morning. No crib available for a newborn. Other than that was really pleased with the experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to stay! We enjoyed visiting my Uncle on Easter and seeing Washington, D. C. We also attended a memorial service for a friend at Washington Cemetery. When we were leaving, the hotel gave us both complimentary breakfast coupons! Wonderful! Missed the chance though to hear Cardinal Wuerl of Wahsington, D. C. .

To start off it was not clear that we were going to be charged for breakfast we were told it was continental. Then while having breakfast we had a extra guess show up a mouse running freely in the dining room. We were charged $50 fo last night and tonight a total of $100 for incidentals. Do to the miss understanding put a damper in a our travel budget.

Every Hilton is the same big price tag little value. Out side looks like a rent by the hour hotel, lobby looks like a 3 star hotel, and I've had better rooms in discount no star hotels. No fridge no microwave and to top it all off the beds terrible.

Good hotel, but lacking when you look a little closer. Hotel has nice amenities (restaurant on site, indoor/outdoor pool, gym, hot tub, guest laundry, room service, etc). However, when you look a little closer you see that repairs haven't been made well (door handle through wall repair sticking out, window seal shoddy and moldy, water stain on ceiling, lamp wire running into wall instead of outlet, tub slow drain, etc). The hotel was amazing at accommodating our 350 person conference with a day's notice when snow closed the regularly scheduled venue though. That was downright impressive.

Aging hotel, good Hilton experience. This is obviously a hotel that needs an update. I noticed corrosion on the bathroom sink pipes, water damage at the bottom of the bathroom door, the closet and refrigerator cabinet doors didn't like to stay completely closed, things like that. The staff was excellent, room service fast and professional, so a great experience overall.

Great stay. Staff was friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and fresh.

The rooms are nice and the hotel was quick to fix an issue with the room. 2 drinks at 40 dollars in the bar was a little ridiculous so, I just didn't go to their bar. Overall a nice hotel.

This property is somewhat dated and in need of some TLC. Rooms are good size and the beds are comfortable and great water pressure in showerheads. What lacks in decor and modern looks, it's made up with staffs friendliness. The first room we were assigned had mold on the sides of the bathtub. The second room didn't have that problem but the tub wasn't draining fast enough and by the end of taking a shower, 4 inches of water was standing in the tub. Reported it to the front desk but it was the same the next day.

Staff here shines — they are honestly among the best I've seen at any Hilton property. The breakfast buffet is not free for all guests but is really nice and the dinners in the restaurant are very nice as well. Rooms are definitely dated but the facilities are really well maintained — I've never had any cleanliness issues. The indoor / outdoor pool is huge, which I love. There are laundry facilities. Housekeeping was nice enough to keep all the things I moved out of reach of my toddler where I left them when they cleaned the room (glasses, coffee maker and pods, etc), which I appreciated. I have long stays in this hotel usually once a year and I keep coming back to this location mostly because of the staff. Seriously, they are exceptional.

The event halls are comfortable and spacious.

The staff was friendly and room availability as well. Room was very clean and with attention to detail. The overall presence of it is very nice and comforting. Would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel is quite dated, and it's visible especially in the bathroom and the carpet. The lobby however is very nice, staff is helpful and breakfast is okay. They offer also a shuttle to the nearest metro station, that is particularly needed if you don't have a car.

The room was clean and worth the money for a few night stay, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good… and great service… was very pleased with our stay here. Had a meeting here and the meeting rooms and the food was outstanding. I would definitely would stay here again.

We had an advanced booking for 2 nights at this hotel. But when we reached there at night, they said the hotel is fully booked and said we will not be able to do anything. Then after a lot of debate they agreed to find another hotel which was another 25 miles from the hotel and was a horrible one indeed. It didn't have any AC and smelled bad (this was in June 2017). Bear in mind we had a small toddler with us. Then, next day even during there was no communication between their shuttle service and as a result we had to wait for almost 1 hour at the train station. The manager was rude and did not understand the concept of being courteous. Please be very careful before you even think of choosing this hotel. I would rather stay in a small airbnb rather than living here.

Wonderful buffet for conference as well As there is a church I saw when I went to a conference there so the banquet halls Are big and there are several they can be used for many things the staff were fantastic the food had great flavor what I was not allergic to on the buffet they kept up With replenish of high demand items offered that day vary Warm Food the best buffet service I have had at a hotel in many years. Sorry to rave about this banquet hall I would use if I wanted a wedding near by the location is easy next to the back of the county fair grounds so there is a lot Montgomery county could do with it. A wonderful Hilton hidden in a great spot with fantastic staff amazing foods and easy to get to if you k ow how to find it.

Room was clean an comfortable. I had requested a fridge in room and when it did not have one they brought one up within 15min. The breakfast had many choices and free shuttle and Wi-Fi made my trip easier. Staff were all very friendly and eager to help, more so than hotels I have been to in the past. Very pleased.

Free upgrade, low price, clean room, free breakfast (complements of upgrade). Room has flat TV with many stations, refrigerator, iron and board, free coffee. Free coffee in lobby. Has restaurant and bar, free parking. Shopping nearby. Noon checkout. I received the upgrade because the room I chose online wasn't ready and I commented that the Hilton app indicated that an upgrade (for $8) was available but the link went down when I tapped on it.

Location was good and staff was very helpful. The climate in my room was set at a very comfortable temperature. I have no complaints about the room and will stay at this Hilton my next trip to DC.

I was there for a wedding lunch reception. The food was OK; there wasn't much of a choice. The dessert bar was 3 different types of cake. But since we already had wedding cake, it wasn't really complementary. The bathrooms were clean. It was a very hot day so the air conditioning in the hall was appreciated. Overall, an OK experience.

This hotel cannot handle any party properly. I had a 279 people wedding party here and it was a disaster simply because of the carelessness of the hotel staff. Though the we had booked the grand ball room both Friday and Saturday full day, the ball room was not ready for the wedding reception on Saturday. Reception started 20 minutes late. The room was booked until midnight but they wanted us to vacate at 11 pm because they had a party the next day!. What a horrible experience. They had promised complimentary menu cards on each table, coffee and tea service, cake distribution, but none of this was done. NONE at all. Bride and Groom was promised wedding suite with chocolate covered strawberry, Alas, there was not even a room set for them. Does not deserve one star. Beware, beware, beware. Look elsewhere, if you don't want disappointment.

Nice hotel, relatives from out of town frequently stay here. Indoor and outdoor pools. My family enjoyed the outdoor pool in June. Large restaurant but breakfast is not included. Also, many sports teams stay here for tournaments, which can be very noisy. I recommend asking if there will be a team staying at the time of your reservation and request a different floor.

Purchased a couples package for after having a long day discovering D. C. (30mins away). The package included chocolate covered strawberries to our room, a dinner for 2 with a complementary house champagne, & breakfast for 2 (available room service upon request). It didn't go exactly as planned. They didn't really know what we were talking about when we checked in. We proceed to sit down for our dinner in the restaurant and the server was very polite but didn't know what we were talking about. After speaking to the front desk he confirmed our free dinner & champagne and said we'd be receiving everything else. About an hour after eating we had received the strawberries in the room. Then in the am we received our breakfast. All food was delicious and they apologized for not knowing. I stayed in a king room in 714 and it was spacious & nice with a huge TV & a microwave & refrigerator. I could've used more towels & I wish my special requests would've been read upon booking. I also took advantage of the pool / whirlpool which was nice & clean with odd hours. The hotel itself was under construction by the elevator, but not much of an inconvenience to guests. Overall a nice hotel and I am happy they accommodated to what I had purchased.

We had a king room and it was very spacious and clean. It also had a microwave and a fridge, where we put our complementary water. Lobby is lovely and has a large bar area where you can meet up with friends and enjoy a drink after 4 p. M. We found there was plenty of parking. The only criticism is that there was no microwave popcorn for purchase. Would have been a nice treat.

Not a good experience at all. Dirty room which smelled of smoke. No fridge. Many things not working including hotel phone. AC leaks water into room so carpet soaked.

Rooms shabby and dated. Business center not functional. Rooms facing pool had patio doors deadbolted shut. Fire hazard. Staff friendly (the one star rating. ) Not even luggage rack in room.

I stay here often for business travel. The hotel is very clean, the staff are always friendly and breakfast at Rook's Corner Café is consistently good.

Business, overnight stay. Courteous staff. Room — Quaint, quiet, effective. Decor doesn't necessarily scream Hilton, however.

Dated old tiny rooms. "Deluxe" room with the balcony had one chair and peeling paint. No fridges in regular rooms, but you can see they used to be there. Let me state again, these rooms are SMALL. That bathrooms are on part with airplane lavatories. I'm 5'10 175 and getting dressed in there was a challenge. The photos on Google are quite misleading. I'd imagine quite a few of them are from the suite. Not your standard room. The balcony featuring a table and 2 chairs? Must have been an upgrade we didn't get. Check in time is 3pm, but I had to wait until 5 for the second room I booked (which, wasn't even the correct room. After selecting rooms a day ahead I was bumped from one). Staff is cold. Not very outgoing. Some hard to understand. There seem to be a few other hotels in the area that are newer/more updated. I'd suggest those.

The staff is friendly and professional. My room was probably in need of a deep clean and the hotel in general is ready for an update. There was good water pressure in the shower, and my bed was very comfortable. I went to the hotel restaurant and couldn't get a cocktail because the bartender hasn't shown up which was too bad.

Great location and amazingly nice staff and super clean room! Appreciate all your efforts to keep the hotel in good condition. Definitely will come back!

Are at the Rook Restaurant. The crab bisque is seriously some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I arrived at the Gaithersburg Hinton 3am and I was greeted as though I had arrived at 5pm very courteous and kind staff. Made the few hours I was there very enjoyable.

The location was great and convenient. It is right off a major exit on the highway. The ballroom was beautiful and the presentation of the overall hotel was great. Only issue I had was it took a little longer to get drinks refilled but aside from that, everything was perfect. Wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

It's in gaithersburg md. The Holton hotel is pretty nice overall it's very well maintained. The hotel is clean and smells good all the tmr. The room is very nice clean and orgamized. I have enjoyed it so far and will definitely recommend others.

I love Hilton, but this is a disappointment to the brand. Being a diamond I expect more from them. The same treadmills have been damaged in the gym for months with no repair… three currently out of commission, ridiculous… wish they would try to improve. In service I will admit they try to make you feel welcome, they do well at that. The three stars is because of gym and the cleanliness of some of the bathrooms which can do with improving.

Nice hotel to stay in. In the past six months I have stayed here at least twenty times. The staff is freindly and welcoming. The food is tasty. Rooms are mostly clean. One stay there where beers cans under the bed that may have been missed but where disposed of the next day. Other than that I havent anything negative to say.

Absolutely nothing I've come back about 3 times but in the 4th time will certainly be the last forget everything else you've read and just read this RATTTTTSSSSS RATTTTTTTTSSSSS ALL OVER THE 4th floor from what I heard from a girl who was staying before I came but then I saw for my self with my own 2 eyes go from under one bed under the other then to the closet then under the door only lord knows what room it went to after mine they didn't show up fast enough to see but ROACHES AND RATS ARE MY NO NOS AND I INLY NEED TO SEE ONE TO MAKE ME DISAPPEAR FOR GOOOOD!
