If you were truly sympathetic to me or my family then you would take it upon yourself to refund my family for the 2nd night that they did not stay at your horrible property. First of all, no one informed us that we needed to cancel the 2nd night by 11:00 a. M. So it sounds to me like you need more training at your property so your guests are fully informed. Secondly, We called before 2:00 p. M. So you're telling me that you're not able to make an exception when a family is grieving a lost loved one and called you as soon as the funeral had ended.

If ya need a pay by the hour hotel this might be your kinda place, but to everyone else go to the Holiday Inn. It all sucks! Mighta been nice in 1970

This hotel had recently been remodeled. Rooms were clean, furnishing tasteful, carpet very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place is full of bed bugs.

My stay was wonderful, everything was very clean! My only complaint was the blankets and pillows provided the pillows were small square pillows and the blankets where thin. Everything else was clean, and very new looking. Had a beautiful pool too. I brought my dog alone and there was plenty of grass space! I was not bothered by staff ever and they were very accommodating!

Nice clean rooms the staff is very nice and there breakfast is good you have some great Choices. We stayed three days. There beds where comfortable and they had soft and hard pillows on each bed made it nice to pick what ones you liked. Nice size fridge microwave and there pool looked nice didnt get to try to out but looked nice.

We absolutely LOVED our 2 weeks here. No, it's not a 5 star place but it was relaxing and they weren't extremely strict about everything. They accept dogs but the rooms didn't smell like it. Extremely accommodating front desk and housekeeping. Employees treated my 3 year old like he was one of their own. We will definitely be staying again next time we are there visiting family. We would encourage anyone to stay if they were stuck in Murray. We have stayed in more updated rooms in the past but I'd rather stay here than here because it was so laid back :)

I was visiting for a family wedding. It was a great stay. My mother and I had everything we needed and if we needed more, it was no problem for the workers there to grab it with kindness. Thank you.

Very outdated hotel (motel), pillows were very hard, due to renovation pool wasnt available. Had issues with check-out that would have taken several minutes to resolve. So what was a great weekend was made poor due to me not being pleased with my hotel (motel) stay. Not sure if I will stay here again and most definitely will not recommend this to anyone of my friends. The best thing was the hot breakfast & hot water!

As someone who travels for a living, I’ve always had a great experience with Best Western, but unfortunately this time that was not the case. The room was small and dark, the covers all had burn holes in them, and my girlfriend and I found TWO bed bugs. Had to check out of hotel at 9:30 at night and didn’t even get so much as an apology from the front desk worker. Stay away from room 222.

The room I was given smells completely like cigarette smoke, burn holes in the bed covers, burn marks on the tub. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and I sit in this room now suffering with watering eyes and headaches. The beds are no better than sleeping on the floor along with the little square rock pillows. So after driving 7 hrs to work in town here, I start the day with 3 hrs sleep, and will have to stay here for a whole week. Front office staff seemed nice tho… this place is very out dated, needs new outlets in the walls (plugs fall out of the 1 available wall outlet. ) time for a complete remodel for this site…

Have stayed here many times over the years. Needs to be updated a bit, and could have been a bit cleaner. But overall it's a decent room at a decent price.

We stayed overnight in this hotel when we took a college tour and open house at Murray State University. The lobby was undergoing updates, and was not too pleasant to look at, but our room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, and check in was quick and easy (we did have reservations). Breakfast was hot and of good quality. The dining area was clean, and a staff was in and out while we were there to eat. The staff clearly takes pride and a clean and presentable hotel. The quality surprised me, because there were other hotels nearby that were much higher priced. There was no sign of bugs or previous guests in our room/bathroom. We will definitely choose this hotel when we come back to visit our daughter at college!

Found hairs in the bed, ahead for new sheets & they brought me new sheets… but they expected me to change them myself. Every door is outside access. There are no indoor hallways or corridors. TV volume varies from channel to channel. People are very nice & helpful though.

It's an older hotel that could use some updating, but they have a fitness room, pool, a breakfast buffet, and allow pets. There isn't a place on the reservation website to note that you have a pet. I informed them when I arrived and was told about the reasonable daily pet fee, however some confusion by the staff could have been handled in a more polite way. Other than this moment upon checkout, I found the staff to be helpful and friendly.

Went to visit our daughter at MSU. Checked in our room, sitting and having a conversation and see a bed bug crawling on the bed. We immediately checked out! This place is dated and is due for a complete renovation! The rooms smelled smoky and were dirty. We won’t be going back.

The room was good for the price. Everything was very comfortable. The only problem was, even with all the lights on the room was VERY dark. We could barely see to get ready.

Nice spot in the Murray/Paris area to have a brief stay but better for solo occupancy or bargain bunking. Not a true fan of outdoor access — too much of a motel feel — but the staff and hospitality help balance this out. Ice, vending, etc are all located in one spot on the first floor — would hate for anything in there to give out during a rush week. Pool was covered so no commentary available on that. Breakfast was the same on a daily basis but always ready and refilled every half hour or so.

Overall, the Murray Best Western is a good place to stay. The rates are pretty reasonable. The rooms are comfortable enough. The beds are quite comfy. The other misc. Amenities are adequate. The toilet seat was slightly broken though. It needed replacement. We are fond of the full-buffet breakfast offered. This is an older hotel, so one has to take that into considerations.

Good location, right off the highway. Room was clean, but a smelled a bit moist at first until we ran the air a bit. Grounds were clean and well kept. Breakfast was hot and filling. Price was very competitive. Great experience overall.

The rooms were wonderful, if somewhat less well-lit than desired. The staff answered all of our questions to the best of their ability and we're very kind in helping us have a good stay.

Lights flicker as I wander through the dark exterior corridors of the hotel. As I creep past a room on the second floor, I see the curtain quickly drawn shut so that the inhabitant avoids detection. There is a smell of sulphur and of burning gasses coming from no decernable place that permeates faintly throughout the expanse of hauntingly quiet halls through which I wander. My intention is a simple one. I am on no great quest and I seek no great treasure. I purely seek adventure and that is what the Best Western University Inn provides best.

Usual. We hav3 been staying here for years. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Linens were clean and fresh. The continental breakfast was not as good as usualusual, but over all our stay was great as usual.

For the price, can't beat it! Loved the stay, breakfast was excellent, far exceeded my expectations! Room was clean, everything worked, shower was very clean, showerhead was functional. Water was HOT! Good water pressure. Had a safe in the room with a fridge and microwave. Newish flat screen TV and full cable lineup. Beds were clean and reasonably comfortable. Every staff member was extremely friendly, especially the front desk clerk, a slightly heavy set lady whose name I cannot remember. She was awesome! She talked with me and played with my dog for over an hour while I waited for my ride, made me feel right at home. They are pet friendly! Very much so, pet fee was only ten bucks if I remember correctly, (stayed some time ago, might have changed) there are only a couple pet friendly places in Murray and this is the cheapest one! Don't go to the Magnolia Inn, if you have any standards whatsoever. They are cheaper and you will know why immediately! All in all this Best Western is a great little motel that won't break your wallet open.

Booked through Priceline bidding, graduation weekend at MSU; called to let them know we were arriving very late. Arrived at 3:00 am, keys were ready, room exactly as requested 2dbl, Non-smoking. Got to the room, it was nice, clean, and had more amenities than expected (fridge, micro)! Staff was friendly, breakfast was good; can't ask for much more.

I Found this hotel to be very rude needed an early check in and was paying with cash they wanted and extra $50.00, then I have service dog's they wanted to charge me a pet fee because I don't have any kind of paperwork that I am traveling with, after sleeping in their parking lot for 2 1/2 hours because the night clerk said we could check in @ 6am so I told them I was calling the corporate office Audry just shrugged her shoulders like she didn't care I left went out to my truck to call corporate office since this is the same problem I had at another hotel, I went back in to get the clerks name thats when she said her name was Audry and she had just spoke to her manager Pat and this is their POLICY she refused to give me their last names.
