Its a really nice hotel, and they really done a great job to make the scenery pleasant with the warerfall.

Clean and very helpful staff. Would stay here again.

Went here for our anniversary because of the large jet powered tub. Rooms were clean. The fresh cookies are delicious. Bed, sheets, and pillows were so comfortable.

Awesome staff as always. So kind.

We traveled with our two teenagers, and did request an upgrade on our room for extra space. Front desk staff was friendly and professional during our entire stay. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was accommodating. The one issue I would recommend to change would be in the housekeeping department. When the gentlemen brought a roll away bed to our room they were both rude. The sheets were messy, I did questioned if they were clean.
Also, there is no hot tub by the indoor pool as pictured on the website, the hot tub is now a beautiful planter.
However, the Governor suite did have a jetted bat tub which I did take full advantage of.
Overall, I would stay at this property again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

I've been here before and the food was excellent, but today the chicken was undercooked and the food bar wasn't sufficiently stocked for the amount of people who needed to be serviced. However the manager comped all 6 diners at my table. I strongly suggest they hire back the person who was there 3 months ago.

Hosted event recently at Doubletree. Would not recommend. Way overpriced for what you get. Food was subpar, was served pork but they SWEAR it was beef. But the most disturbing part about it was working with Sales Manager & Director of the hotel. Neither were anywhere to be found the day of my event, in fact no one was available but the chef. Think it is ridiculous that there was no one to answer any questions or concerns I had AFTER I paid my money. So wouldn’t recommend, there are several other venues in Augusta that would probably give you quality customer service.

This was a great place to stay the beds are so comfortable an the rooms are nice as well customer service was excellent.

The food and hospitality is always great I love it.

This is my favorite hotel! I always stay here when I visit Augusta! From the front desk staff to the clean and comfortable bed and room! The Bar and food here is hands down the best! I feel like I don’t need to leave here cause I have everything I need in one place! Five stars from!

Worst hotel experience ever. This a/c unit was so loud that it kept waking us throughout the night. Pool area is absolutely disgusting as you can see in the pics. Notice the hot tub water is so low that it's no longer getting filtered and chlorinated. No fridge in the room and the food on breakfast buffet (costs extra and $15 each) was cold. I wouldn't stay here again of I had to. I expect better from Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

We went for the seafood buffet and it was great. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. I would recommend to family and friends.

This hotel has one of the best lunch buffets I've ever had, and it's a great price. Be sure to save room for dessert! Friendly staff, nice rooms, comfortable beds, and shuttle service to the airport. Great place to stay.

I stayed here at the DoubleTree and there was roaches in shower. I was about to jump in the shower and they came out the faucet. I killed one but the other got away. They tried to only spray the room. Oh no, I want a new room. The second one was okay but they acted as if it was nothing. No points offer no dinner or breakfast voucher offer. Not good customer service Hilton. Sorry my phone won't let me add photos.

Newly renovated, it features a beautiful wide open lobby with small restaurant. I didn't have the pleasure to eat there though. Friendly and abundant staff that were welcoming. The rooms are pet friendly for both cats and dogs. Our room was very clean and it smelled clean! They have fancy-ish little hotel soaps that my wife enjoyed. The only thing lacking were outdated shower heads and lackluster pillows that didn't fit the bed. If I ever go through this area again I will stay here.

Upon my arrival I was treated very well. I was hungry after a 5 hour greyhound trip to Augusta. The lady at the front desk helped me order food to my room, which arrived 10 minutes after getting into my room. And those cookies are so good! I was also offered a shuttle to the airport. I rated 4 stars because the food was just ok and the room could have been cleaner.

I came here for a wedding. The hotel was very nice and the staff was helpful. They even gave us cookies. We booked a double bed room but it didn't have a refrigerator so the front desk was nice enough to let us change to a king suite with a refrigerator. The wedding was beautiful! The hotel done a great job!

I called ahead of time and the lady that I talked to on the phone assured they would honor our card for 2 free meals. She also told me that it cost for kids ages 16 below would have to pay $17.95 and adult price $33.95. This was not true. The lady I spoke with lied on the phone. They did not honor my child’s birthday card from one of the managers. He was on vacation. Then they charge me for 2 adults and 2 kids. So not right! I would never go back to this place. I would not recommend anyone to go. They lied on the phone and in person. I will say Amber was a great waitress! Our waitress tonight was awesome. She really worked hard getting things we needed and she constantly checked on us all night. On the other hand, The crabs was too salty and over cooked. We had to wait in line more than 22.5 minutes for pasta, so we went to our seat. We came back for the pasta and the wait was 13.8 minutes that time. They lied on the phone about self serve hot shrimp. They did not have self serve hot shrimp. The manager Olando was not professional at all. He was talking about us to his staff rudely. My kids heard him say mean things. You should be professional at all times. You never know who is watching you or listening.

Nice hotel! We got cookies upon our arrival. Staff was great and seemed to be happy at their job. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There seemed to be a nice morning breakfast buffet. This was one of my better hotel stays. :)

We had 2 pets, plenty of places to walk them. The staff was great very helpful. Water was hot plenty of pillows bed comfortable, room clean. I would stay again.

I want to start off by saying I am not one of those people that look for handouts or free upgrades. I chose this hotel specifically for the indoor pool and hot tub. I booked with a representative on the phone who didnt mention anything about renovations going on and when I got to the hotel no one mentioned anything about the pool being closed. Got to my room and went to go to the pool. The pool was closed so I called the customer service number for Hilton. The lady on the phone patched me over to the front desk which upgraded my room to the king bedroom suite. The king suite has a whirlpool tub which is a good substitute for the nonworking pool area. Overall my experience was pleasant. The lobby is gorgeous. I just hope the spend some money renovating the rooms. The hotel seems almost outdated. But again the staff were great and my experience although at first was ruined got better when they upgraded my room.

Older hotel undergoing renovation, rooms are somewhat tired, and need a more intensive refresh than fresh paint. Broken tiles in the bathroom, old tub fixtures. No refrigerator in the room, would not recommend for anything longer than a few nights. Staff were very nice, dining areas were very well done. Convenient to many restaurants.

It's a very comfortable hotel. It is next to i520 so it is very convenient if you are traveling. Now they are renewing it but there was not much noise about it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the bathroom is not very big and needs renovation, but I imagine it is part of the whole plan.

Attended a banquet event and it was great service. Buffet was good, salad always a favorite, clam chowder was delicious as well. Held in one of the ballrooms, the room was the perfect size for the event. Plenty of space to walk around without feeling crowded and plenty of space between the tables, too.

This place is excellent! Comfortable rooms with all the amenities. But the Friday night buffet is awesome. Even at $30 per person, it is well worth it. The crab legs were delicious. People who aren't staying at the hotel come in for the buffet. They even have live music for you to enjoy. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. A great place to relax!

I booked this hotel for three nights. I have not had a comfortable night since I been here! This is the second night I am writing this. We paid for the suit with the jetted tubs in the room because it's my birthday and thats what me and my husband wanted. The room was extremely nice and the staff is nice as well. How ever, in our the ac completely did not work the first night we dealt with it thinking maybe it needs a little time to cool the room considering it was hot as soon as we walked in the room. Waking up in the morning covered in complete sweat I was mad. I turned the ac on 60 and went and done what I had to do through out the day. I came back and it was STILL hot with it set on 60! So I went to the front desk and told them. They sent someone up. He looked at it and said he doesn't know why it was not working that the front desk will call me shortly. They called me and told me to come down stairs. The lady was saying I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we can switch you to another room. I'm thinking yes! She then said but it won't be a suit I'm so sorry. I said no I paid $567 for three nights I need the suit. She says I'm sorry ma'am. So I said we will just get a fan or something because this is ridiculous. So we stayed another night it is 4:39 am and I can't sleep because it is entirety to hot. I woke up with sweat stains on the covers. Needless to say I will be checking out a day early in the morning.

We went back this year! They had a special for Valentine's Day which THEY celebrated for 2 weeks, price was upped significantly, and we asked what was special, and we were told nothing really, it's Valentine's 2 weeks celebration! The manager told Elin C. Greene that was true. So Double Tree manufactures a celebration, does NOTHING special, BUT raises the rates and we must pay them? Listen up, Hilton Double Tree, we've come for seafood for many years and noticed a few cut backs every year, changes in menu offers on buffet (obviously it's a cost issue). It was still good until this year with your fake 2 week celebration! We walked out as did the customers before us. If I drive my wife on her birthday for something she enjoys to YOUR establishment, and you mock us as customers and dummies, uncouth people who came from the sticks of Allendale, SC, and you treat us as idiots, laugh in our faces, and claim you have the right, FINE, I have the right to tell people around the world who you are! I'm not a happy customer, but I am a happy FORMER customer!

The double tree in Augusta is a great place to have your event, social gathering, or just a nice place to stay while you're visiting the many attractions in Augusta. The staff is well trained and provides a first class experience. Be sure to stop by on the weekends for the luxurious buffet dinner complete with stakes and crab legs.

We stayed at Doubletree and our experience was wonderful. We also dined in Andrews restaurant while we were there and our waitress, Morgan Cooper, was one of the best servers we have ever had in our life. Thank you DoubleTree and Morgan Cooper. We will return again because of such a great experience. To.

This hotel has seen better days. The staff is friendly, however the creature comforts one might expect in a hotel nowadays are missing here; there are no microwaves in the rooms, and one must travel to the 6th floor to use one in a common area. The bathroom just barely fits everything. One would have to squeeze themselves between the sink and toilet if they wished to have enough room to close the bathroom door. Some of the rooms offer 'unique' views, including rooms with windows which go to the hallway. They are actively renovating, but the same about of money will get you more at other hotels. They do have a rather nice, if a little pricey, restaurant on the premises, along with a small coffee shop which serves Starbucks coffee. Also, they have a well-known seafood buffet every Friday night, work checking out even if you don't find ourselves staying locally. As for location, it is close to shops without the traffic, being off a little road that parallels the highway. There really are no walking distance shops unless one is willing to go about half a mile on foot. Parking near the room side of the hotel can get a sparse, but there is ample parking near the restaurant, along with an entry one could use to walk to the hotel portion of the building.

Some ongoing construction makes the place not look as good as normal, but it's still nice. Staff is excellent; very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is pretty good, room was nice and clean. Plenty of places to sit in the room too. Shower could stand to be a little nicer, but it's perfectly acceptable as-is. Overall, a good place to lay your head and relax for the night.

Great service. Comfortable rooms. Their bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Staff is a delight. Great buffet on Fridays and brunch on Sundays. Close to the airport and the mall.

I can only speak to this hotel as it's event hosting. We had an official dining out at this location and we were extremely disappointed. The first shock came when we entered the hotel and were hit with a terrible fish smell. I can only imagine it came from another buffet. The second issue came with the designated alcohol service stations near our social area, none of them served hard alcohol so we ended up crammed in the small hotel bar. The largest issue though was the food. I know roast beef can be a pink but ours was bright red, and served cold. It did not taste good either. The servers did not serve an entire table at a time but served random people thought the event.

The food was wonderful and the dessert was amazing. Our server was Missy and she did a great job. I would easily recommend this place.

10-28-17 The Front Desk staff check in/check out experience was amazing! My hotel room "202" was very outdated. The carpet had dirty/dingy visible spots. There was a musty smell throughout the room, the bath tub was worn with visible spots of decay. And the shower curtain was dingy. There was "NO" luggage stand in our room, even after I required the luggage stand from housekeeping (twice). I also requested a refrigerator that arrived promptly but was extremely loud for about 1 hour, but settled down to a humming noise throughout the duration of our stay : ( I purchased Lysol, shower shoes and a temporary shower curtain to help my room to be more comfortable. I am very displeased with this DoubeTree's Room. The positive: The lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff are knowledgeable and polite. And the workout facility was very well maintained. Conclusion: I would "NEVER" stay at this DoubleTree again.

I went to the DoubleTree by Hilton for a four day training series for my work. The staff were friendly, the location was fairly up-to-date and it was clean. We had breakfast and lunch provided for us all four days as part of the training, and the food was good. It was a great place for our event and I would recommend it for anyone looking to host a training session. My group had about 60 people in it, but the room we were in could have accomodated a much larger crowd. We needed the extra space for activities related to the training.

Hotel needs to be updated. Way out of date. My room looked like it was decorated in the early 80's and had stains on the furniture and carpet probably from that area as well. Bathroom is small with popcorn ceilings with mold and falling apart from either too many water leaks or lack of care. I will say the beds were spot less and as always super comfy. They got that right. I won't be staying at this place ever again.

Just like in any place there are highs & lows. I love that this hotel is dog friendly. The staff is very nice & helpful. It's clean & and pretty. Plus easy parking. Now let's talk about the lows. The buffet at the hotel is WAY over priced. It's almost 20 bucks per person and the buffet is like a cheap Chinese restaurant & can be cold food, & just plain Jane. The Starbucks at this hotel takes forever. I waited almost 20 minutes for my drinks. I would stay here again just bring your own food, & find a Starbucks outside of the hotel.

Very impressed so far. I am not used to this level of hotel stay while traveling. I feel like a princess. The amenities, bars, 2 restaurants, room service is excellent. The staff is fenominal! Super friendly. If I have to return to this area for business, I'll stay here again.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff at the front desk were great. There was a small line when I was checking in and Mr Jim greeted me and gave me a complimentary bottle of water. The lobby was beautiful and had a water fall. The gym was a good size and the pools looked good although I didn't have time to swim. The only downside was that I killed a spider in my bath tub and a roach on the wall of my room. Also, the bathroom smelled weird. Aside from that the room looked very nice.

I have never stayed at this particular hotel before. However, their food is fantastic. I have attended several events at this particular location. Their food is really good and well worth the price. They have plenty of space for events, and based on the cleanliness of the lobby, I would judge the rest of the hotel to be 5 star quality.

Once checked in we went changed and went directly to the pool area. When returning to the rooms we all showered which is when my 2 year old decided to get up on the bed and pull the covers back when I looked around All I seen was blood so I immediately thought it was her only to realize it was the blanket so we removed it and noticed it was also on the sheet and I am not talking about the brown color that looks like it's been washed but the fresh dried blood which could only mean the sheets nor top cover was removed from the room from the previous guest. I was sick to my stomach that it was my 2 two year old whom was near it. I called front desk and no longer wanted to stay but obviously management had left for the day so he couldn't make the call so I ask for new everything. I did reach out to the General Manager Mr. Regan if I'm not mistaking and explained I had pictures and all that I even had the guy from from desk come see for clarity. All was offered was an apology nothing more. I can see if I was missing toilet paper, a pillow maybe a sheet but we are talking blood bright dried blood. That would make no one want to stay. A refund would have been better. I had two rooms here and was just shocked with the response. Safe to say I will never return and I advise everyone check everything when staying at any hotel especially this one. You will not be taking care of but just apologized to and that's all.

Overall this facility was easy to find and clean. Disappointed in the bathroom which is small. The tub coating is peeling and the on/off handle comes off. There is a small damaged area of carpet but it's near the wall and not too noticeable. We checked in after 4. The room was very hot when we arrived because the curtains were not closed. We turned the ac to 60 and 3 hours later it's cool enough but I would expect to have had to turned it down because it should be freezing by now. On the positive side this facility allows pets with a much lower deposit than other hotels. This facility falls short of the Hilton quality that I expect.

This hotel was perfect for my needs. Excellent service, beautiful water feature in the lobby, smells AMAZING, and extremely comfortable beds. The location is just 5 minutes from Augusta hospitals.

I am staying at Doubletree Monday thru Thursday every week. I was beyond disappointed when a cheap motel I stayed in one night had a refrigerator and microwave, but not the expensive Doubletree. This cuts out the option of a cold drink, or storing food to bring to work the next day. The bathroom was tiny. You could not fit two people in there at the same time. The faucet handle fell off in my hand when I turned on the shower. I cannot believe they call this a business accommodation! The ONLY reason for the two stars is the bed was comfortable.

The rooms could have been updated somewhat and I'm always sad to lose a free breakfast option, but the hotel was clean and the clerk at the front desk was welcoming. We would consider staying here again as their pet fee was only $25 for the night.

I loved every aspect of the Hotel. I was staying in Augusta for a baseball tournament this weekend, and they were very accommodating of the whole team. The pools and the workout room were exceptional, and while the rooms were a little smaller, they were really clean and well kept. Costumer service and breakfast were both absolutely amazing, and the free cookie you get when you sign in was great too :).

The hotel itself is conveniently located near the mall and several restaurants. It isn't new, and it shows; there are a lot of blemishes, but it's not too terrible. I can't speak to the quality of the food, as it was too expensive for my taste, but it did smell wonderful. Service is good, so no complaints there. I would not hesitate to recommend the Doubletree.

As a frequent traveller, I can't believe Hilton calls this a Doubletree, it should be one of their Hampton brand. Aside from an old renovation, we were charged an extra 15% gratuity on a party of six for the evening BUFFET. Beware, this is one Doubletree that is trying to cash in on the brand.

We went for the seafood buffet. Enjoyed a night of endless crab meat, shrimp, oysters, crawfish and prime rib! Yummmmm!

Room was a bit worn. Breakfast was okay, but not worth the cost. One of my least favorite stays at a doubletree.

The DoubleTree has comfortable beds and the road it is located on is good for a morning run. The lack of refrigerator and microwave in guest rooms is made up for by s community fridge and microwave on the sixth floor.

The Doubletree was exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. We stayed overnight and we had complimentary breakfast because we are rewards members and it was excellent. Service was wonderful I could not have had a better time.

The hotel is old and in need of an update, but it's my favorite in the area. The bar and grill has great food and service and the rooms are clean and sufficient. The staff are all friendly and accommodating.

Went to dinner with friends and have done so on several occasions. It was if they were not prepared. Had one serving of crab legs unable to get more they kept running out and by the time there was more lines were long. Cheese cake frozen. I guess that they did not realize it was a buffet.

The staff is very curious and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean, though could use a little updating (cracked tile, rust on fixture etc. ). I liked the gym, the bartender was friendly and breakfast staff was pleasant. Overall great experience.

Beautiful hotel. The hotel staff were very pleasant and efficient. The warm cookie upon arrival was a great treat. However, a couple of things might have made our stay a bit nicer.
Beds & pillows were much too firm for comfort. In fact, all the furniture was too hard.
The indoor pool was too small to accommodate the amount of guests. We were chased out by a pack of six kids and three adults because the pool was not sufficiently large enough. And… Hotel is not completely handicapped accessible. No access to pool without steps.
Dinner should be served in the beautiful dining room with the waterfall not in the bar with no lighting. Only other choice is room service with a 19% gratuity.
Fridge & microwave were supposed to be included but were not in our room. Not sure why. Staff offered to bring a fridge to us but we stored our items in there's instead. A bit inconvenient.
Breakfast buffet was beautiful but not part of the stay and… $13 for breakfast per person is more than I would pay at any establishment no matter how great the food. For that price there should be steak with the meal. Most hotels include this meal with the accommodations. A big disappointment.
Would recommend this place only for those not the on a budget & not handicapped.

Was there for a holiday party. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Very nice looking location and would highly recommend for any events.

Overall pretty good place to stay. Hallways are starting to smell musty and the bathroom is a little cramp by doubletree standards. The breakfast options are good.

My room was spacious, clean upon arrival and met my expectations. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. There are several restaurants across the street for your dining pleasure. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and I'd recommend staying here with no hesitation.

Overall the stay was pleasant. My check-in was quick and they provided a room that met my requirements. The room was neat and quiet. The shower was maybe a little small, but as a whole it was a pleasant, clean experience.

We were in Augusta for a youth soccer tournament and I have to say this hotel handled it better than most. Great facility overall but the staff made it an outstanding experience. Thanks.

Cockroaches in the rooms. Never stay here. I have pictures and a video of it. Completely unacceptable for a $120 a night hotel, expected way more from a Hilton product.

Ridiculously overpriced for just an average room. Super small bathroom, barely enough room to move around! $170 a night for a single room with two queen beds — no refrigerator, no microwave, no discounts — and then we have to pay $10.95 each for continental breakfast also? I don't think so! Very disappointing experience. The only reason I have it two stars is because the beds are pretty comfortable. We will not be staying here again. Also, got someone else's receipt under my door in the morning. Wonder where our receipt (with all our personal information on it) went.

When I read the reviews I was hesitant to make my reservations. However, from the time I checked in and was handed a warm cookie (yum) I have had a wonderful experience. I can not say it was uneventful but it was very nice. They are doing renovations, but that is expected from time to time. My room was nice and clean but a little dated. I noticed my door would not lock. The dead bolt would not go pass the plate. I called the front desk and they immediately placed me in another room and gave me a free breakfast. The breakfast buffet is awesome. The fresh fruit was the best. Highly recommend the buffet even if you do not stay here. ALL of the staff has been very courteous and pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Very disappointed in a hotel that suppose to be 4.5 stars, got a room with twin queen beds no fridge, bathroom so small could barely turn around in it, for $109 it didn't meet expectations plus if you eat breakfast it's $11 and 19% gratuaty want be staying there again only reason we did grandbaby was at burn center and it was 5 minutes away, very dissatisfied.

I'll never stay here again. DJ and live band, apparently drinking heavily kept us up wayyyyy too late. Shower would either burn you up or freeze you. Furniture in sitting area is rough.

The staff were the high point of our stay… We had the same room 4 years ago for a friend's wedding. Then it was great a real treat, cure, this time however the account did not work properly and rather than saying they couldn't find the problem, the 3 times we complained they said it was "fixed " it was never fixed. I am The bed was like sleeping on a pile of stones, and the furniture was uncomfortable (We were in the sandbox jacuzzi suite) the room and common spaces were dingy dinged and getting run down… All in all while we used to really like Doubletree hotels when traveling after this is think we will be using Holiday Inn express for our go to hotel choice.
