The service and staff are awesome. The outside was not so clean. My room was great.

Always stay here when in Ft Myers, room was clean, front desk staff very helpful. Pool was great.

Standard motel setting, clean. Breakfast, pool not bad but nothing special. Worthy place to stay.

If you dont have credit/ or your trying to save $$ than this is the howard johnson for you, the staff are very friendly & will be upfront about the developing city your in, and even advise you that no recent updates to their franchise has been done… in short if you have a extra $20 or $30 to spare I personally would suggest that you drive the extra miles to punta gorda or port charlotte. i can verify all there franchises are familiar comfortable stays. i would say instead of the well respected "howard johnson" franchise this location would be more like howard jamigga…

I didn't like missing more cleaning was as empercudido all I would not recommend it.

This hotel is a very great place if you are a drug dealer, pimp, sugar daddy, convicted child molester, etc. Lots of amenities, such as dirty panties out side of our door, a mysterious white susbstance dripping down the inside of the door, and a stained chair that bed bugs would not enjoy sleeping on. Just wanted to say have a wonderful night at this hotel as you fall asleep to the sound of drug deals, fights, barking dogs and along with the lovely screaming children outside of your door as you go to sleep.

Nice dining area and a very nice breakfast, but ends at 9:30. Friendly staff and comfortable beds, offers extra items at front desk. Reasonable prices comparable to a 2 star hotel.

This place is horrendous, the rooms are filthy trash under beds and overall just dirty. There is drug dealers and tweakers everywhere. The maids are rude as hell. Cockroaches in rooms.

It's a very basic motel with outside corridors and smoking rooms. It looked clean at first, but I killed three baby roaches on the sink which definitely grossed me out. The sink drain was broken and wide open, so I put a towel there to hopefully stop more bugs from coming in. Pillows also looked like leftover foam from old pillows as they were so deflated. If had paid $60 this would have been a decent place, but for $180 a night, it was very disappointing. They do have good blackout curtains to block the sun in the morning. I wouldn't go back.

Rooms: Rooms are a single room that includes Dish TV, sinks outside of the bathroom, fridge and microwave. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. I provided pictures for what the rooms look like. They're sub-par to average for the price. What fellow guests were like: Many guests were younger (under 40) and Hispanic. There were some older Caucasians (over 50) mixed in. Personally, I did not see many kids. Location: Along the main road (US 41) but can be hard to find. I suggest bringing a GPS, as a nearby restaurant partly blocks the hotel's one entrance. Other notes: The fridge's default and unchangeable temperature partly froze my drinks, which made me wonder if it was a fridge or a freezer. There are 2 other hotels across the street all owned by the same parent company (you'll see the "Wyndchester Wizard" at each front desk).

Only if it is to go in reason of working for Real mind is cheap I would not recommend it for families with niñols small.

I found the hotel has a very good location. I am also impressed by the architecture of the building (which is known from famous American films). And let's not forget the professional, nice and helpful staff.

Good Hotel 4 this price class. By American standards and the price range correspondingly very good hotel. Well located for dining and shopping in Fort Myers or by car in Naples. A quarter of an hour to the beach. You can't complain. Would even call it a family/child friendly.

Very Bad stay at the hotel. We found dead cockroaches in the Room and the front Desk refused to remove them so we had to remove them ourselves. Several things were broken in the room (lights etc) and they promised me they would send maintenance. 2, 5 hours later noone had shown up yer so we just went to bed and left First thing in the morning. Would not recommend staying here!

Room was clean but missing the safe in the closet. And it was drill holes where the safe was and it wasnt painted the same color. Continental breakfast was ok. You make your own waffles two types of dry cereal, oatmeal, toast, danishes coffee, orange juice and apple juice. If you have any food in the hotel do not leave out because we ordered pizza and 2 hours later we had lots of baby ants. For the price its ok.

This place was disgusting, 1st the room smelled horrible, had roaches, apparently there are people who live there, very questionable and obvious illegal activity going on, I was with my family for 2 days and could not wait to leave. When I informed management he could care less, I will be contacting corporate, Horrible!

Horrible! Never again! Thoer were roaches everywhere the phone was not connected. Nor could u make out going calls mind u in a smoke free room with cigarette burns on the toilet seat. Also a broken arm clock so glad this wasn't a business trip. Had I not HD a cell phone I'd not be able to contact the front desk.

Good for the price. Very clean. Booked hotel online, room key card was already prepared before I arrived. Clean rooms, nice king size bed. TV was good. AC was a bit loud because its a window unit, not a big deal. Nice breakfast. I will choose howard johnson again for my future travels and will recommend this place to friends and family.

Its ok to just spend the night, but it was expensive for a howard johnson, and also dirty bathroom and dirty towels.

Do not stay here. There are cockroaches crawling down the walls and the phone in my room wasn't even connected to anything! God forbid you need 911. So when I called to complain my phone didn't work so I used my cell to call the corporate office… I explained my situation and the woman laughed at me, I mean literally laughed out loud, and then she transferred my call to an automated hung up message. I will never ever give my business to this company ever again.

I have stayed at Howaed Johnson's many times. This one is privately owned. Roaches all over. All I did was open door and you could see them. I could see the black dots on pillows witch is from bed bugs bug I didn't even care to look. Said room was no smoking. Smell of old smoke would of been better. So I just went back to office. Didn't say anything. She just says "I take it you want to check out. " SAD not is there a prolem and see what they can do. Since a few people were in waiting area and one waiting to get room. I Said, truth is I am not ok with your game. There is major problems with room. So no I am not just checking out. I want my money back cause I am not staying in room with all them roaches and bed bugs. No way they have treated that place in over 6 months. You would be much better off sleeping in car then this hole.

The location was nice and close to everything on my "to-do" list. The rooms weren't anything special, mostly what you'd expect for the price. The continental breakfast was very disappointing though. Only 2 cold cereals, 2 hot oatmeals, toast, and waffles (only on days the machine wasn't broken). I had to call the front desk because my hair dryer wasn't working and the maintenance worker came out and fixed it no problem. My room didn't get cleaned one day. Overall what you expect for the price.

Everything is old. Like it was brought over from India in the 1980's. My room phone doesn't even work and is yell from the smoking era. No vending machines and laundry is out side. Hooker hotel. Sheriff's through three times a day. Only thing good here is the house keeping department does a great job. I hate the smell of curry. Especially in the morning.

GHETTO AS F$@&! Roaches crawling EVERYWHERE! I called the front desk to report it and they were not surprised at all, just said they could send someone to spray the room! WTF I already unloaded 2 cans of Lysol and you wanna fumigate a room I'm sleeping in?!?!? The sheets had obvious burn holes in them. The pillow cases had lots of long black hairs and I'm a ginger so DEF not mine! There was a tied up bag of trash under our bed. The cleaning woman used a towel and bleach to mop the bathroom floor with her foot then left the towel on top of the microwave. The microwave also had ROACHES LIVING IN IT! We called the front desk and they said they could spray it, WTF, no thanks! We made them take it out of the room. The coffee maker was broken and couldn't be replaced, the toilet paper holder had no bar so we had to keep it on the toilet, they did not replenish the tissue box even though we asked twice. Sprayed the room with Lysol before bed but at 2am got up to find roaches crawling ALL OVER the dresser, table and fridge not to mention our personal belongings! Ended up staying awake all night (on my bday! ) out of sheer disgust! Calling the dept of health in the morning as well as HOJO corporate. Sooooooo nasty!

That horror! I attest that at the hotel people lived in particular a strong color Guy received constant visits throughout the day and night from people with very bad aspect not is who could devote but if I can imagine.
