Stayed here for 4 nights and had rented a ballroom for my daughters baby shower. This hotel is super clean, employees are super helpful and friendly. Dominic was our event specialist and he went way out of his way to ensure that our event was perfect! From the little details to the food, he was capital A Awesome! We all had a wonderful time and appreciated the over the top service! The rooms are clean the beds are firm but very comfortable and I fell in love with the pillows! I slept like a rock. Lol The food is cooked to perfection and everyone that I met that stayed there at the same time are very friendly upbeat but down to earth people! I highly highly recommend this quaint hotel. Its not a super huge hotel, its just the right size and very family friendly! They have an outdoor pool and hot tub. A great work out room and a hotel bar too! A big plus is the price of the rooms also, they are comparatively cheaper than the other hotels in the area and there are tons of restaurants and shopping super close. Give this place your business, I promise you will come back!

Very clean, very friendly staff! Centrally located to area activities in Fort Myers and Sanibel Island. Highly recommend! Brittany the bartender/waitress was awesome & very friendly! Natanya at the front desk was very professional & friendly.

Me and my family were treated very rude at this property. When we got there our room, a suite that was reserved 2 weeks before arrival, was not available. The front desk lady (Kemore or something like that) told me that unfortunately the hotel was at full capacity and my room was not available. She even told me to go to another hotel after I complaint and asked why me room was not available. They overbooked the hotel since a teen baseball team was staying there.
The manager Anthonia Smith was rude when trying to look for another room for me.
Me and my family decided to stay since the rest of our family (like 15 people) were staying there and leaving to another hotel was not an option.
I have been an honors member for many years and always stay at a Hilton hotel, but this is the first time where I was treated very bad.
I would like someone from customer relations to contact me to explain everything in details. I am very disappointed with customer service and the way we were treated.

First room had a bad smell.
Was forced to wait the the lobby for an hour because another room was not available. Building was almost empty. Front desk handled the situation poorly.

This Hilton could be improved by hiring a new general manager, because the current GM Mike McHugh is an unprofessional, disgusting creep.

The front desk very rude to us. And Whatever I asked they never said Ma'ma or sir at all. Very bad. We are not stay here for free. Needed to learn how to respect for the customer more and smile. And no water in the room. The air conditioning very smell like dirty laundry… Need to be fixed.

I attended a catered birthday party. The food was DELICIOUS! Tasted like home-style. Almost as good as something I cook at home. Food was served hot. Chicken was seasoned and a beautiful color.

Out of 80 to 100 hotel stays a year, about 30% are at HGI. This one is in par with what I expect as a minimum for service and comfort. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this particular property and I have never had any problems. I will stay again.

So clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Soft towels. In room coffee and tea. Lobby has the cold water with the fruit in it. Complimentary key limes and tangerines in lobby and cookies. Yum! Wonderful room decor.

The staff have all been very helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. This has been a wonderful overnight stay.

My company has donw extensive work here during the after hours, and have always found the rooms emasculate. I stayed here during the hurricanes, and the staff was both very helpful and understanding of the trying times. I have a weekly meeting here, and am always greeted with a smile by the staff. In short, this hotel is one of the best! If you are from out of town or looking for a "Staycation" this place is a safe bet!

Clean cool and have lots of options for different food you can get. Friendly hospitality. Located middle of town so not too far from the beach or cape if needed.

The room was very clean and neat when we arrived. The room was also very spacious and fit 4 people comfortably. The staff were very polite and courteous. The hotel was very close to plenty of possible visiting locations, it wasn't too far away from everything.

Staff is very friendly. The gym is roomy enough. This location is a little older but is right in line with all other Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed at. A couple of minor things I noticed were stained hallway carpet and very slow elevators. However, the room was really clean, and the staff was great; that pretty much controls my rating every time.

I belong to a company that holds its yearly meeting at this hotel. Their conference facilities are clean, comfortable for our group of 50 people, and the food buffet is very nicely done. Reasonable cost, great location for our membership.

This hotel was amazing! We had a rain out for a ball tournament and they did everything to make sure the boys still had fun! Brittany A. Should get a raise! She was the absolute BEST! So nice, very informative, excellent with the kids and adults. She went above and beyond to make sure the boys were happy! Thank you to her and the staff for making our stay so pleasurable. We will see you again in June!

When staying for work, I judge hotels on: Cleanliness 1 (older property so hard to keep clean but HAIRS IN SHOWER) Internet speed. 3 Shower Pressure/Hot Water 3 Gym Size n/a 1 is awful, 3 is good, and 5 is great. N/a means I did not use. **4 stars is everything on par, and I reserve 5 stars for something extraordinary that happened during my stay.

Great place. Very clean. Nice to see that every employee I saw or talked to. Was friendly, up beat with a smile. Food was great.

Overall, great hotel as most Hilton Garden Inns. Bed would sink over time, so good for a short stay but it would have been rough for anything more than a few days. Top floor, end of the hall: no Wi-Fi reception. Nada.

Redeemed points to stay for 2 nights this past weekend to visit family nearby. Check in was easy and the room was as booked, although I think I was expecting something a little nicer. Seemed a little cramped. We used the pool a couple of times, and it was well maintained. We walked through the stairwell a few times and noticed a big dead bug in the first floor hallway before the stairs that stayed there the entire time.

Very comfortable hotel and big rooms. Staff helpful and friendly… Will stay again.

Subpar room. Dirty bathroom corners. Beds are not very good even though they are adjustable. Staff not very helpful.

Decent cant say much as all I did was spend the night. I was a late check in and and an early check out. I would stay here again.

They give my reservation to some one else. And I had to wait an over an hour for a room at check in. Then it was a fifth floor room and both elavaters was out of service and the carpet was wet in the room. Do not go here.

Clean spacious rooms with very friendly staff that makes sure your needs are met. Would highly recommend staying here while visiting Ft Myers.

I was able to use Hilton Honors points for my mother-in-law to stay three nights over the Christmas holiday. She is rather picky, so I was a bit concerned she would find fault somewhere and somehow. But instead she was very appreciative to me and complimentary of the hotel and staff. She had a "nice, quiet room" which obviously met her every need. She ate at the hotel restaurant twice and again her comments were favorable. Thanks to Hilton for making her comfortable and content.

Great Hilton hotel, I was in town for work and would probably stay at another Hilton brand as many people staying here are on vacation and can be drunkly loud. My room was clean, very hot water, decent pressure and quality. Staff is friendly, parking lot is a bit strange to get to but not difficult. I would recommend, close to the beach and not breaking the bank.

A little bit of a year old hotel.

Stayed here long term on business — — couldn't be happier. Front desk staff was courteous, helpful, and greeted me by name every time I walked in. Restaurant had great food, and a great waitstaff. Room was immaculate, a perfect home away from home. Highly recommended.

Pros: Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Keurig coffee maker in room was fun. Reasonably quiet night. Cons: Bathroom wasn't the cleanest (little hairs on sink and toilet seat grossed me out), a/c didn't seem to be doing its job (stayed at 73 degrees no matter what temperature we set it at, so woke up sweaty and uncomfortable). No free breakfast. Edit: Revising my review and bumping it up a star. We were able to change rooms and the a/c works swimmingly.

My stay was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool was excellent. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, I would recommend this location.

The hotel was great. Rachel did a fantastic job checking us in and check out was a breeze. The rooms were up to date with a beautiful view. Very comfortable beds and the rooms were very tidy. Great hotel.

The hotel was actually very nice. It was homey, and we felt very comfortable there. There was a small discrepancy with our reservation and we came down the next day, spoke with Angel. He was great. Very helpful, and professional. He took care of everything and some! So, although it was no Ritz Carlton, it Still received 4 stars. Unfortunately, 5 is a very high number (with only 5 to give out), for me at least is very valuable and therefore cannot just be handed out.

I'm a loyal customer Diamond member from Hilton Honors. I booked a stay on July 4 for 2 nights we arrived around 12:00 am on July 5th, the lobby is amazing it's a beautiful place very well put together. We checked in and as we proceed to the room, I was expecting to see the same care and beauty that I just experience at the lobby when I walked in. I noticed that the room was not cleaned properly, I found hair all on the bathroom floor, coffee maker was left with a used coffee bag in it, and when I decided to take a shower we didn't have any clean towels in the bathroom. I call the front desk and I was told to go to the front desk to grab them. Breakfast is not included and I need to pay $10.50 for the breakfast. My family and I did not have a good experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Myers Florida.

It was everything you could ask for, had an enjoyable stay and the breakfast was off the chain… omg my hat off to the chef… I fully recommend Hilton Garden Inn, Fort Myers, Florida to anyone.

Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Room was clean and decent Wi-Fi. Up the next morning to catch the express to key west, so this was perfect.

I was only here for one night but the staff was still very welcoming and made me immediately feel comfortable and at ease. I love the fact that I was able to choose my own room at check in from my own laptop. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Was a very clean and nice hotel. For the business meeting I was in, the temperature control was very nice and the lunch provided was excellent.

Solid hotel. Everything was clean and the stuff was Very helpful and friendly. Nothing special, but I would recommend it.

Went there for a work event. The food that was served for breakfast was very good. During the event, we ran out of water and coffee a few times, but other than that everything was very good! I'd recommend for conferences.

Had a wonderful weekend there! I will be going back in May, 2016 for 15 days. They upgrade your room if possible, has restaurant and bar on premises, so no drinking and driving. Nice peaceful atmosphere. Close to Ft. Myers and other amenities… The Ford/Edison museum… all staff members were very nice and helpful. My favorite is Andy at the front desk… evening. 5 stars. Kay.

Lobby area and check in are very nice. Room is decently kept. The bathroom looks like it was redone on the cheap. Comfortable bed though!

Got in late and woke up early. The few interactions I had with staff was good, very friendly. Room was clean, nice and cold, and very comfortable.

The location was great and we'll taken care of. They rooms were updated and looked nice. The beds were a little to stiff for my liking. Staff was funny and caring!

The location of the hotel is great. It is about 20-25 minutes from the airport, and it is near many attractions and restaurants. The room itself is very nice and clean, and there is a microwave, refrigerator, and keurig in it. This was convenient for us so we could save money storing food for breakfast in the room. We used the fitness center and it was adequate, with some treadmills, elliptical, and weights. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The hotel is clean and the service is better. Andy made sure my stay went great. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good stay. P. S. Keurig in room is big bonus P. S. S. When andy wasn't there Gayle Took care of everything. Breakfast was great and the omelets were even better.

It's a nice hotel but it's pricey, and continental breakfast is $6.99. I rather have slept at a Best Western or somewhere where the breakfast is free for a cheaper price.

Very nice, clean and family friendly hotel. Stuff team is hospitable and makes every customers feel comfortable.

For such an expensive hotel, you'd think they would have decent internet available. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I had trouble getting even simple webpages to load quickly, much less trying to do any streaming video. I had trouble doing the work I need to do while on a business trip. I've had a better connection at hotels that cost half the price. I will not likely stay at a Hilton Garden Inn again.
