I would recommend the Residence Inn for the following reasons, the staff is very attentive to the guest. I feel safe & secure at this location. Security is always on staff. Like the amenities.

Very nice rooms with kitchens so you have everything you need. Indoor heated pool and patio with fireplace. Staff is really good as well. I love this place next time we are going to rent bikes and ride downtown.

Awesome hotel! Doesn't look like much on the outside but it was like a little apartment inside. Had a nice full kitchen with microwave, stove stop and full size fridge. Large room with nice shower. Really clean. Had a mixer every night with free food and drinks. One of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel. Seriously, this hotel is perfect for long stays or people who travel anlot for work.

Been staying here since my house caught on fire. The staff is fantastic. Makes you feel like you walk in at home every single day. Love it here and never wanna leave.

I got a good deal on one of those online sites for this place, glad I did. First off, the two guys at the front desk (Sean and Bryce) were great, checked us in with ease. Rooms were fresh and clean, lots of amenities but not cramped, full kitchen was nice. We were walking distance to great restaurants, night life. Driving distance to much more! Breakfast was great, different change up every morning. Pool, exercise room, mini store with beer and frozen pizza's! Anyways, enjoyable place all around, will be back.

Ive never personally stayed here but my in laws stay here everytime they visit and love it there. We've been down there a few times to visit them when they are here and the staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms seem really nice and clean, the hotel itself and amenities are really nice. They have great outside seating areas, a heated pool and a gym.

Excellent stay! Will be booking this from now on when working in Orlando. Love the evening Mix and especially the hostess, Magda. She’s super sweet and takes great care of you. Front desk is great, recommending local delivery after a long day of traveling. (Flippers pizza, mmmm! ) Breakfast selections were insane, any diet or restrictions you may have would be met. Rooms—spacious and immaculate. Very comfortable for a four night stay. Love all the pillows and multiple lighting options in the room. I know that sounds silly, but I like things just right at the end of the day. Appreciate the space between the bedroom and bathroom to set up your suitcase without having to get out a luggage rack. For anyone working in the area and looking for a hassle free and friendly stay! Parking garage is attached and has walkout access from floors 2&3.

This hotel has been a nice stay. Their happy hours are fun and customer service a plus. Only thing I can see improving is the morning breakfast. I would stay here again tho.

This is one of my favorite properties in downtown Orlando. It is located in a convenient part of downtown. The staff have always been professional, courteous, and respectful. When I checked in during this stay I was selected as the "guest of the day. " I also had the benefit of receiving a well located guest room, located on the 3rd floor, right by the door to the parking garage. The guest rooms are well designed and are very quiet. The morning breakfasts have ample selections. The evening socials have trendy and healthy food selections with nice microbrews and wines. My checkout went just as smoothly as my check in. When I'm back this way again, I will definitely make reservations here. Thank you for the awesome stay!

Beautiful hotel! You can tell they just renovated and it's georgous. I loved the breakfast in the morning! It was an excellent spread, lots of variety and toppings for my waffles. My only complaint is in our rooms some things were a little broken or worn out. Also no good place to plug things in, in the bedrooms. Otherwise this place is fantastic, everything is within walking distance. Very nice spot.

Clean, spacious, quiet, and strategic location. I really love the indoor pool. It's quite big to do some work out swimming. The room has plenty of room to move and to store things. The bed is comfy. The walk in shower looks luxurious. And the body wash smells really nice and fresh. The location is perfect for my purpose, just about 5 minutes from Orlando Science Cemter and various asian restaurants.

The Residence Inn Orlando Downtown has been amazing for us at a tough time. We're from Colorado, and got a call last week about an adoption match for us in Florida. We dropped everything and flew to Orlando. We got a suite at the Residence Inn for the 5 of us while we tried to figure out our longer-term plan. We'll be in the state for a month or more, and the price of the suite was too much for a long-term stay to make sense. We looked into AirBNB and other similar accommodations, but also spoke with the sales director at the Residence Inn. They were able to get us a great rate on the room, which made it competitive with other options (but includes breakfast, daily cleaning, a pool, and is closer to the hospital). At a time of tremendous chaos for us, having the right place to stay took a load off our minds. But that's not all! A few days in, we came back to our room to find a care package: a bundle of baby clothes, diapers and wipes, and a congratulations card signed by all the staff of the hotel. They really went above and beyond for us, and this place will have a special spot in our hearts forever. :-)

You really won't find a better place to stay in this area. The staff is helpful and friendly, the food served was always good quality, and it being a pet friendly place was ideal for us. We never had an issue in over 6 months of stay. The pool, gym, and laundry areas were always clean and tidy also. I think the only way to improve would be to add a bar for some happy hour drinks! I would be glad to stay here again for sure.

After consideration, I have decided to change my review to 3.5 stars. Since I am unable to do 3.5 stars, I will just round down to 3 stars. The manager made things right. The — 2 star deduction was for how clean the room was. However, this a decent hotel if housekeeping is consistent. This is better than a few of the new Residence Inn hotels being open as this hotel does not restrict A/C settings. You can set it as cool as you want. Unlike the Mellinum or the Near Universal Residence Inn hotels which have pretty much fake A/C systems and have a server that keep your room warm so they save money at the expense of the guests' comfort. This hotel is not like that, so that is a positive. This is a good hotel, and thus I am revising the rating.

Stayed for 5 nights; quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything is very new and complimentary breakfast was delicious. All hotel staffs were friendly. Conviently located, 15-20min drive to Disney World which is not bad. Will stay again if I ever come back to Orlando.

Very nice Residence Inn property. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bed was comfy. Nice outdoor patio. Great staff. Didnt try the breakfast which only ran for 3 hours, could have been longer. Parking was a little steep but this is near a large metro area. Kind of hard to get into with all the one ways and construction in the area. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

I'm here on vacation and celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. Our experience has been extraordinary! We checked in Sunday late morning and was greeted by Ms Angie who was very friendly and professional. While checking out the laundry facilities, we came across Ms Magda who introduced herself, made us feel welcome and invited us to attend their Mix event. She is the chef and heads The Mix events for guests at the hotel 3 times a week to meet and greet. On Monday we had appetizers with drinks on house such as water, soda, beer and wine. Tuesday we had steak burgers with all the fixings and drinks on the house. Wednesday she prepared apple cobbler with ice cream with drinks on the house. This hotel is clean, and well maintained. Our room is attractive and bed is comfortable, it boasts a fully loaded small kitchenette. Comfortable living area to watch TV, and it has a desk for work. This is an excellent hotel.

Room was spacious. Shower set up was unique there was no door to fully enclose it. Check in and check were seamless. Staff was very thoughtful, they noticed I was manually changing the TV next to my breakfast table and they brought me a remote because they saw me struggling.

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Free beer and wine for Happy Hour. BUT, three big drawbacks: $15 for parking, heavy traffic to get to this downtown hotel, and noisy motorcycles racing the streets outside our window throughout the night. When we mentioned this the next morning, we were told this periodically happens. With all of the choices of hotels in Orlando, we won't be going there again.

Before I even arrived at the residence inn, they sent out an email to all the guests staying at the hotel without hiding the guests’ email information, and then did nothing to remedy the mistake. Not even an apology. The stay was average, but on the last day of my stay, the maid staff “misplaced” my headphones that I left on the bedside table. They were underneath my sleep mask, but managed to disappear while the mask was still there. The employee at the main desk wasn’t interested in helping me out, and gave me lip service to get me to go away. Needless to say I never got word from the hotel about what happened or if I could be reimbursed. Worst case is they stole from me, best case is they did a poor job cleaning my room and don’t care about my personal belongings, despite spending thousands of dollars. I happen to think they stole my headphones on the last day so that I wouldn’t have time to complain to anyone at the hotel since I had to leave. I wouldn’t recommend the residence inn on north orange in Orlando. Poor customer service all around, and if anything goes wrong, they truly couldn’t care any less.

Only stayed one night, Christmas Eve 2017, but the staff was wonderful! We had an early morning flight and caught breakfast right when they opened… great selection and many healthy options. Our room was spacious with a king bed in it's own room, couch in a living room with a smalll and open kitchen and a spacious bathroom. I would stay again!

Booked two rooms, with two beds in each. Confirmed this during check in that night. Was then informed that one of the rooms had an odor, that they weren't quite successful in removing so far. Offered a "Studio Suite", with no smell. In the end. Two rooms with one bed in each. Able to use couches as second beds.

This Residence Inn by Marriott location has exhibit nothing but the BEST in Customer Service! From the Front Desk Staff, Housekeeping & everyone in Hospitality, my extend stay has neen Excellent! What even made my stay even more enjoyable is the fact that I could bring my dog, Chuck along to stay with me! This Residence Inn is also a Great location for walking to every store & downtown attractions! Just the Best Staff!

Not a 5 star resort but nice amenities, well maintained and fully equipped kitchens. Staff helpful and responsive. Not close to Disney but a perfect spot for families. We will be back to this property.

Love Residence Inn by Marriott! Visited 3xs in this year. Stayed here with my family for 1 week during Hurricane Irma. Great place for families especially if you have pets. The staff is amazing makes you feel at home.

The hotel is located near I-4 and you can therefore hear the traffic throughout the night. In addition, there was what sounded like a fog horn that would blow every hour or so. The room was clean and was more than necessary for my one night stay. All modern decor and appliances. The only thing missing was some type of usb charging port that most hotels have nowadays. The pricing for parking was outrageous, as is all parking in Downtown Orlando. Further, I was charged tax on my parking when my stay is tax free due to government work. I can't say that I've ever seen taxes on parking. The breakfast offered was mediocre but fine as it was complimentary. Scrambled eggs and egg whites, grits, sausages, breads and a waffle station were the offerings. The staff were kind and attentive through our minimal interactions. Not a terrible experience but would like to have more sleep. I will most likely not return to this hotel, soley because of the noise.

Absolutely loving my stay here! This is a newly constructed hotel in Downtown Orlando and it is so gorgeous! I have the king suite and I have fallen in love, I am here because my home is put of power due to Hurricane Irma and I am so grateful for this hotel! Complimentary breakfast, the front desk staff is so amazing! Shout out to Emily! I also had a conversation with the housekeeping staff as I was walking down the hallway to my room, they are super friendly and so very helpful! The ladies walked with me to my room to make sure everything was good and make sure that if I needed anything there were there to help. I would recommend this location to everyone!

Came here from Miami to avoid hurricane Irma. Can't describe how warm and friendly the staff is. Hotel is brand new, clean and in a good location. They accept pets and I mean it. They really welcome us with our Golden Retriever. They also had staff staying at the hotel during the storm to provide guests with the best service as possible in a situation like this. Breakfast is great and we will be back for sure!

I loved it! The bed was just perfect. There was no tub in my room but other than that I was satisfied. They even offered popcorn for the microwave which was in the room. The only thing was that they didn't give me new towels or refill the shampoo each day.

Newer contemporary property that is very clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious as you would expect at a Residence Inn. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast is included with waffles, eggs, cheeses, pastries; choices for everyone including children. The pool and workout areas are very nice. A special shout out to Magda who is your smiling friendly employee working at the breakfast area each morning!

Shower has a half door that does not close it looks good but water gets all over floor on the outside so when you get out floor is soak along with towel on floor. That's the only reason I'm ​giving three stars, other than the shower everything is Great very nice at the front desk when checking in. Had to change my three stars to Five by the time I checked out this hotel all of the staff was awesome my family was able to grill our food with know problems, this was a very clean clean hotel along with very nice staff you don't find that often. That mean that it's a Great Head Person in Charge so shout out to you as well… Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Very happy with stay. Everything was clean and well maintained, staff was very friendly and very helpful. Made me feel appreciated. Bonus,, I wanted to use the grill and they set it all up and even provided me with utensils and paper plates. I highly recommend this place.

We had a girl's trip to Orlando and stayed at the Residence Inn. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeper to the reservation person were just absolutely awesome! They even upgraded our room to a suite because I'm a Marriott member. It was a fantastic weekend and our accommodations were a large part of that! I will be staying there at least once a year from now on. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

The rooms were beautiful. The accumulation and service was great. The only reason I am giving a three star review is because the bed was so so soft my back and shoulders were hurting. People went out of their way to be nice to us. If you like a massively soft bed, this is the place to stay!

The Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Downtown is very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty the outside padio has a very nice fire place and a grill if you would like to cook out there. Heated pool is nice. Rooms are big and comfortable.

I was traveling for work so the location was pretty convenient. As far as the room itself goes, this didn't feel as much like a typical hotel experience. The room is more like a studio apartment. I felt comfortable and it was really easy to get a lot of work done. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the garage self park. Something about all parking garages really skeeves me out. If they had a valet service, I think I would have rated 5 stars.

Nicest hotel I have stayed at in the area. Kitchen is well stocked and very handy to have. Helpful staff and enjoyable evening social events. Can't beat being handed a tasty beer at check in.

Probably one of the best Marriott hotels I've stayed in. This building is only a few years old and in perfect condition. The rooms are very clean, have plenty of outlets, a nice kitchenette, and a great TV that swivels so you can watch it in bed or the coutch. Everyone I talked to was very courteous and had plenty of information to give. The best thing about this place is that they have free food and drinks 3 or 4 days of the week in the evening. This hotel is fairly well placed in downtown Orlando. All of the parks and malls are a very short distance away. My only gripe is that the pools water was very salty and made my eyes hurt. Besides that everything was great.

Clean and modern hotel in downtown Orlando. There is no restaurant or room service, but you have your own kitchen.

The location is perfect for downtown activities, and is only minutes from several theme parks. The rooms are very spacious, and the bed is "to die for" comfortable. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Keep in mind parking costs extra if you are bringing a vehicle. Would definitely stay here again!

The room is phenomenal! The service is excellent, and I plan on staying there the next time you come to Orlando.

The room was awesome. The t. V. Swivels so you can watch it from the couch or the bedroom. The kitchen was ready to start cooking. There were pots and pans, utensils and the fridge has an ice maker! The only con is that my room didn't have a safe to store valuables while you're out of the room.

Very nice, large hotel room. Shower was beautiful and large. Kitchenette was nice to have with an almost full size fridge. Large couch was comfortable. Bed was one of the confess I've slept on.

Centrally located and within easy walking distance of downtown Orlando. About 20 minutes to the major parks by car. Clean, modern rooms, similar in style to a studio apartment with a working kitchen including stovetop, fridge, dishwasher, sink with disposal, coffee maker, and toaster. Was surprised to discover a 4 place setting of dishes and silverware, as well as a basic set of pots, pans, and utensils. I didn't use it, but the "fill my fridge" to have food provided and billed to the room (brands and quantities you specify) looks convenient for those staying longer and unable to drive to a store. Both day and night staff have been friendly, helpful, and courteous. Based on the hangers I've seen on some doors that state "four legged guest", and having met of few of the same, the location is dog-friendly as well.

This Residence Inn staff is excellent. They certainly went above and beyond to assist us with any request. The rooms were very clean. I would highly recommend a stay at this location. We will stay here again.
