Do not be fooled by the other reviews. Stayed here and had the WORST hotel experience ever. Neighbors dog almost bit me. Neighbors played loud music all night. The freezer was also not working which caused our food to go bad! Hotel room was dirty! Worst vacation experience I have EVER had. Tried to speak to the manager and was told the manager was never in. What a waste of money. Couldn’t get a refund and had a horrible vacation at this hotel. We ended up going somewhere else since no one was in the office at night. Save your money! Go somewhere else.

Wasn’t happy with stay. We switched hotels after the second night. You get what you pay for. WAY nicer hotels at the same price in the area.

The Best Florida Resort is an excellent choice if you prefer to be close to the ocean; it is less than a 5 minute walk to the perfect spot on the beach! There is also a pool to refresh in during the hot Florida summer! The rooms were clean and it is a nice small resort with lots of privacy.

Clean, friendly, room was remodeled with new linens. Room was nice and cool and fresh smelling. Love the whole pool area. Even had our own iguana. Will be staying there next year too!

Room is neat and clean. Two blocks from beach. Fantastic. Service is really good. Love it!

Very nice… I love all the new upgrades. I loved the paintings and the brand new designed comforters. It was nice to not see those typical ugly worn out comforters.

What looked to be like a great place and location I booked a 2 night stay for 5/3-5/5. Upon arrival around 6:30 I found a note on their office door saying the office was closed for the night (according to the door the office is supposed to open until 8:00 and checkin until 10). Also on the note was my name, room # and lock box code for me to get my key to my room along with a number to call with any questions. Kinda freaked me out that everyone staying there now knew who would be staying in room 201. And this review is specifically for room 201. Once I got the key from the lock box we opened our room. As soon as I walked in the door the musty smell was horrible! After trying to air it out a little it wasn’t helping. I also asked another guest to check it for me and she agreed that it smelled horrible and that it didn’t smell like hers. I called the number that was left on the not to talk to someone about switching rooms. He told me he couldn’t help me tonight and no one would be available until the next day. He told em to call the booking company to see if they could help me. Called them and they have been trying to contact the place since without an answer. I have also called and emailed without an answer. There was no way I was staying in that room. My daughter has asthma and could already feel the effects of the musty smell in the short half hour we were there. Thankfully I was able to fine a new place to stay and left their key in the same lock box I found it!

Clean. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I notice the little things like the paint was peeling off the ceiling in the shower and the TV wasn't able to be turned on and off from the remote you had to go and turn it at the tv.

Good beach hotel. Well equipped room, with kitchen, table and cutlery. Very nice staff. Comfy beds. The only negative was about the curtain not being completely sealed from the outside. Recommended.

Another fun find! great low key vibe with awesome patio around the pool. Nice room with kitchenette! quick walk to beach and pier area. Would HIGHLY recommend staying!

Excellent… very cozy… The employees are very dedicated and kind to the Guess.

The location was great! Cute grounds decor and retreat atmosphere. Check in was smooth. The only downside is the smell… it is old and the cleaner used was overpowering … had to keep door open for an hour to help … But I think I would stay here again.

We loved this place. Very clean and quiet. Pool was clean. Beds were comfy and staff was very friendly and helpful.

I would highly recommend this place of your looking for something affordable and close to everything. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Great small hotel near the beach.

I'm not a very picky person when it comes to hotels but this is the most disgusting room I've ever been to. Don't let the photos you see trick you. The room is so dirty. Walls are so dirty! The bedding is so old that I'm assuming it's here since the beginning of that place. The place stinks it's hard to breath. It does not reserve even one star.

Walking distance to breakfast place, coffee, grocery, restaurants & beach. Good price for what you get for staying one night compare to the chain hotels. A 2 floor motel, no elevator but has a swimming pool.

We got in late and no one was there to tell about the BUGS we found all over the kitchen and when we told them the next day they said we should have told them sooner and that they couldn’t do anything about it. As if the bugs weren’t bad enough, the shower didn’t drain and the toilet didn’t flush well at all. Plus, they put us in a king bed instead of a double bed room like we had reserved.

Great experience. Resort is a unknown jewel in Lauderdale by the Sea. All attractions are within walking distance and the ocean is only 2 minutes away. Have already booked a room for December. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend Best Florida Resort.

The location was a five minute walk from the beach. It is small and cozy and reasonably priced. The hotel definitely took on the tropical feel. We did not rate it a 5 because there were no hangers in the room and we had to ask for coffee to be left in the room two of the three days we were there. We were cordially greeted and well taken care of other than the hangers and coffee. I would recommend best Florida Resort as kind of a quiet getaway at a small hotel. The interior of the rooms were very nicely kept. The bed was comfortable and the couch was a fold-out futon. It is also within 20 minutes of Fort Lauderdale.

Just a place to sleep. I arrived at 10:45 pm and no one was in the office. They did leave me a message though. Room didn't have a ironing board or iron. Too late at night to get. Bed coverings and pillows were very wrinkled.

A great spot to hang by the pool and the rooms are decent enough.

Like a step back in time when a family vacation was a family vacation. Peaceful and great location. Rooms were great, staff was great and stores and beach were close enough for walking. They will definitely have our return business!

Rather happy with my stay. Room was clean and comfortable, if somewhat small and simple. Great location for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful and the tropical themed central pool area was very unique.

A small motel a block from the beach with great privacy, a nice clean pool, picturesque landscaping, and beautiful foliage! This is THE PERFECT beach getaway! Whether business or pleasure, romance or kids, long term or just 1 night. Our room was very clean and quaint, A/C was great. Limited kitchen space, but a fridge & microwave, and plenty of outdoor seating. Our neighbor said he had been coming here for 15 years! If you stay here once, you will not try another! Walking distance (a few blocks) from downtown Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, which has great beaches, food, drinks & music whether you are with your bro's or your family. A great value, with easy parking and on the bus routes as well. My only complaint is that the check-in process could be a little more secure.

Great little hideaway location. Shaded pool area, COLD a/c unit in room. Friendly staff. Parking provided. Easy, quick access to beach. Close to shopping and dining.

Great little resort. Lots of privacy and beautiful grounds with a pool. We enjoyed ourselves. 5 min walk to the beach. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Our stay here has been amazing so far. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30am and check-in was not until 3. The man at the front desk offered to hold our bags in the office so we could explore the town until our room was ready. He also assured us that he would make sure our room was ready by noon. So nice! The room and bathroom were very clean, as was the pool! It's probably a 10-15 minute walk to the square, 5 minutes to Publix and 1 block to the beach. My only complaint was that the room was slightly hot — — the air conditioner was no match for the extremely high heat and humidity outside. However the front desk and owner were SUPER accommodating. The owner even checked his other properties to see if he had any other availability for us. We opted to just settle for a fan that the front desk found in storage for us. All of the house keeping staff were great as well! They were even as nice as to bring us fresh beach towels when we got out of the pool. Overall we are loving our stay. Everyone is SO nice which makes staying here very worth it. I definitely recommend this motel.

I will NEVER book any reservation with this hotel EVER again! I had booked my trip for this upcoming weekend and unfortunately had a DEATH in the family and no longer wish to stay at the hotel. Due to the fact that funeral was on Friday I was not able to cancel. I called to explain the situation that occurred and kindly asked if my reservation could be canceled. Hector was terribly rude, and had no care in the world about the situation in which occurred. Sad to say I now have to no choice but to pay the fee. Never will I book with this hotel. Staff is beyond RUDE, especially when I explained I had documents to prove the death. Terrible!

Wonderful, and surprising bargain and retreat if you prefer quieter, reasonably priced, more personal retreat close anything, yet removed from the busyness of the major condos and hotels. There is some road noise associated with being located on the main road, yet staff has gone to great lengths to hide the road with trees and landscaping. The main pool/garden area is warm, welcoming, and reserved from the rest of the city. Our standard room was a bit small, yet it was efficient for our needs. Staff was friendly, personable, helpful, observant, and cared for patrons and property alike. Some minor issues were fixed prior to bringing it to their attention.

Great Value! 1 block from the beach access. Staff was very helpful and nice. Comfortably accomidated my family of 5! My 3 teenagers loved the pool. The only downside was the towel closet for the hotel was next to our door so foot traffic getting into our room was taxing at times. This place was very private and quaint. Would definately stay here again.

Great place to relax and be serca d beach.

Terrible customer service from the start. Housekeeping left tip envelopes every day and sometimes left 4-5 envelopes. We tip at the end of our stay and it is dependent on the level of service we receive. After 2 days of not leaving a tip, they stopped cleaning our room. There were bugs/pests in the bathroom that they did nothing about. They booked our reservation incorrectly. Their pool pump woke us up at 6:00AM and persisted for 45 minutes. It was situated in the pool room, directly adjacent to ours. Their office manager at the time charged our credit card incorrectly when we arrived. We were forced to pay for the entire stay up-front without any indication as to the level of service we would receive. When we attempted to contact management to resolve the problems with our stay, they refused to offer any sort of monetary adjustment. They then began ignoring our emails and our calls.

I really enjoyed the people that work here and the pool area. Very cozy and friendly.

Best small motel to relax.

I'm from New York and I came to this hotel for 7 days and I can say that I was impressed. I come to Florida every year and stayed in the same hotel every year but this time I decided to change it to BEST FLORIDA. I was amazed how clean and neat it was. The rooms are very comfortable and pretty. The beach is just 2 minutes away and is very clean (unlike all the other beaches in different locations. ) People that worked there were nice and helpful and the garden was also pretty, small, but still pretty. I can recommend it to all my friends and all the other people that are going to Florida.
