I live in Fort Lauderdale and Travel a lot for work leaving often for a week or two at a time. When I travel for fun for a few days or so I leave my car at the extended stay. The price is decent but The staff at the hotel is great! The front desk staff always seems to be cheery, outgoing, and helpful. The driver to and from the airport has always made the ride quick and enjoyable. If you need a safe place to leave your vehicle this is a place I would recommend.

The room was clean and the shower worked great (after staying in a few hotels and motels that's actually pretty important). But I didn't like how if you needed ANYTHING you had to go to the front desk, it was just tedious. The continental breakfast had AMAZING coffee. Seriously so happy with the coffee. Food was just packaged muffins and oatmeal, I won't complain about free food. Parking was a nightmare.

This place is trying but they are understaffed. They are not connected to a Convention Center so don't expect those services. They are probably offsite. They replaced the refrigerator because of her previous work ticket and the new refrigerator that we received made noise all night long and made it difficult to sleep. They gave us a 20% discount because of that so I'm giving them three stars instead of one star. Last night I called twice to get fresh towels because they were also replacing the toilets. When they replaced our toilet they used them. Instead of them bringing up fresh towels to us I had to go down and pick them up. To me that means they are very understaffed. They're working to upgrade. But they still have a ways to go. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were just overworked.

Unfortunately the State of the hotel is down.

Great location! Right next to a bunch of different restaurants in walking distance. We had a cruise so it was 5 minutes away. They also provide a shuttle there. It is 10 minute ride to the airport, and they pick you up from the airport and can give you a ride to the airport depending on what time you can go. It starts at 7 am I believe. You get coffee and different granola bars and muffins for the free breakfast. The bed is pretty comfortable. Wi fi works well. I don't personally recommend their extra bed that you can get because the support system feels too hard when you lay in it.

The girls that run the front desk were super, super nice and welcoming. Erica was fantastic and let us know a great night life spot that we took advantage of and had a great time at! Upon checking out Sasha and one other gal were just as nice! They called us our cruise shuttle and our 1 night stay was perfect. Thanks guys we'll be back when we go on another cruise!

This place is a real mixed bag. Starting out with the good: The staff is excellent. We had several problems with our room which were dealt with rather quickly. We ended up having to move to a different room and some of the staff members helped us in that process. It seemed that the place was understaffed, but that didn't stop everyone from being very nice and pleasant. Now, for the not-so-good: I called the day before to ask if they had a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. I was told they did and to call the front desk as soon as I got my luggage and they'd come pick me up. When I called the day I arrived, I was told that the shuttle only ran until 2:30 in the afternoon, a full hour before I arrived. That's not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Note: When someone calls, please make sure to let them know about operating hours. The rooms in which we stayed were clean, for the most part. There were some obvious examples of not paying attention to detail such as dust on the dresser behind the TV and that the tops of the refrigerators were greasy and dusty. Also, you could see that most of the vacuuming was done only in the high-traffic areas as there was dust visible along the walls. Nothing terrible, but something that needs to be addressed. As I mentioned above, we did have some issues with the first room we were assigned. The toilet leaked a little and the curtains were half hanging off the wall on one side.

I wish I could rate the service versus the facility. The front desk agents were exceptional! They were helpful and service was excellent! Also, the guy who drove the van from the airport is amazing as well. I would rate the service staff 5 stars easily. The facility was just ok. My room had a weird staleness. It was a peculiar scent that didn't sit well. I kept my shoes on the entire time because the carpet reeked of mildew. We found bugs in the tub as well. The beds were clean which is a plus. I think it's just an older location for sure.

Not as nice of a hotel as we expected or hoped for. This is an older hotel and is more for long-term stay and not for anyone expecting typical hotel amenities for a night or two. First, unbelievably, there is NO ICE available anywhere in the hotel. When asked, they suggested my wife & I walk to the grocery store about 1/2 mile away for ice. NOISY refrigerator in the room, we had to shut it off while we were there. When calling for a shuttle to the hotel from the airport, I was on hold for over 20 minutes on my second attempt after they never picked me up from the first time I was placed on hold. Down the hall a long-term resident kept his door open while playing loud music and cooking smelly foods. And while I can' t confirm the source, of bites my wife received all over her legs the day after we checked out, she is convinced there were bed bugs. I wasn't bitten but her legs had multiple bites she showed me the day we checked out. And while we appreciated their shuttle service, we were surprised that it wasn't a free shuttle service as other hotels we have stayed at offered. This location charged $8 per passenger. We'll never use Extended Stay for a hotel room again.

Very welcoming was only there to visit a friend. Was welcomed by the front desk lady Shaina I think that's how u spell her name she also let us know what good places to go and visit. Nice clean hotel will highly recommend. Also has very Kool staff.

Very friendly shuttle driver Eddie is amazing. Shaina, Marlene, Shaneka were all working the front desk and they were very friendly and helpful. I am definitely coming back to this location next time I am in town. Rooms were clean beds were comfy. Thanks for the amazing stay.

First off, they have no system for roll-away beds. I reserved 2 roll-aways 2 months in advance of my stay (I was travelling with 8 students) and called the day before check-in and was told I would not have those beds I had reserved. SECONDLY, I was not put into the rooms that I had reserved. Because of these mistakes, 3 of my students (16 and 17 years old) had to sleep on the floor with beds made from blankets and pillows that the staff was VERY reluctant to give us. There was no manager on the premises at the time of our check-in, and none of the managers were answering when the staff was calling them. FINALLY, one of our rooms had a large ant infestation. The only reason that I have given a 2-star instead of one is due to the fact that the on-site staff was as accommodating as they could have been. Even with that in mind, I will never patronize Extended Stay America for personal or business travel. I recommend you find another hotel if possible.

Parked my car before flying out Fromm FLL airport and the experience was great! Very quick check in (make sure to bring in your registration, they make a copy of it) and the airport shuttle even waited for me. The lady at the front desk was very nice and Eddy my driver was also great. Overall recommend this place for someone looking for an inexpensive place to park when flying out of FLL.

I had a great stay! Shaneka and Courtney at the front desk were not only thorough, but extremely accommodating and personable as well. We couldn't have been treated better. Even though check out was at 11, our. Flight didn't leave until 8 and they had put luggage held until it was time to go. Those ladies are wonderful!

When you get to this hotel, ask for Erica! She is the definition of customer service! Love the mini coffee makers and mini packages of coffee. Anessa was super sweet, and so was the rest of the staff! Nice rooms.

All the staff is fantastic and extremely helpful. They always go the extra Mile to help. My favorite person at the front desk is Erica she's the best in my opinion.

The staff there was amazing and they helped us out when needed. They joked around with us and made us feel like family. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The shuttle from the air port was extremely helpful, they told us of local places to visit and how to get around. The price was amazing for how great the hotel is. Over great stay.

While well-located and staffed with true professionals, this place is in serious need of an update. Almost everything from the parking lot entrance to the actual rooms is the very definition of "stuffy. " Dark colors, small elevators, dimly lit stairwells and claustrophobic hallways lead to rooms just SLIGHTLY too small. Overall, this motel in the middle of the seventeenth street causeway hustle and bustle is an excellent value with good service, but it's time to invest some of those dollars into an overhaul. Perfect for hobbits, but Gandalf would not stay here.

We booked our stay a month in advance for our cruise and we were all excited about it all until we called a week in advance to know about shuttle service and shipping diapers there beforehand. We've never been treated so poorly in our lives! Coming from someone that has worked in customer service, their service was poorly delivered. Front desk, Christina, will answer (if that's what you want to call it) your questions, then hang up (without saying goodbye), and deny she hung up after you call back. Rudeness is through the roof here! Even though, it's conveniently located and they provide shuttle service, it's not something that I could recommend to my friends or family (or yours either). Save yourself a headache and book somewhere else.

It was a good hotel with a clean room and a pretty comfortable bed with friendly helpful staff. Everything in ft Lauderdale was super expensive in general and this place was no different. They did not have an ice machine which is odd for me, it's given in Texas hotels. There was a terrible smell of someone who cooked something with a strong spice. However you couldn't smell it in the room so that's fine. I had some trouble getting hot water in the shower… But figured it out, and staff was super helpful and polite.

It is decent. Surrounded by a lot of shops and restaurants. The appliances hardly work and maintenance guy doesn't fix anything. The staff is very lazy and nosey. The let guests smoke in the room and if you complain about it they do nothing. They claim to tell people not to smoke but it is a lie, even though the rooms are supposed to be smokefree.

The worst experience i’ve ever had with a hotel. I travel quite often for work and personal travel and I’ve never had such an awful experience. I booked 5 rooms several months in advance and prior to my stay including the day that I was checking in (in the afternoon) I was told that everything was good to go and our rooms were all set. I arrived with my party including a toddler after hours of traveling and was told that my rooms were not available and that they had overbooked. I spoke to the manager and she was completely unaccommodating, rude, and did not offer and solutions. We were told we would need to find other accommodations. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

Great hotel staff, they were extremely accommodating while I was on night shift working at the near by power plant. Never had any issues, and the location is nice everything you could need is within walking distance.

I'm giving this particular place at 5 because the manager was so extraordinary and accommodating I've never stayed at a hotel where I felt more appreciated.

Clean room, super friendly and cool staff, but my room still has a completely empty kitchen — no plates, glasses, nothing. Also, Wi-Fi doesn't work, but that's just bad luck since I came right after Hurricane Irma.

I stayed at this hotel for a day while waiting for my friends to arrive in town. This hotel has a great location all the stores are within walking distance. The room was nice and clean and the staff was awesome! Thanks so much for accommodating me. Y'all rock :)

I stayed here for a week in July. Pros: Convenient location, shuttle to and from airport. Cons: elevators slow and/or down. Shower was a trickle (this was the worst! ) They have kitchenettes in the room but you have to go to front desk to get any flatware, plates, etc. There are no toasters or coffee makers in room. Not enough help at the front desk. Paid too much for the room for the lack of quality/amenities. They only clean the room once per week. We had two towels for two adults to last three days. I could go on…

Stayed here May 13-15th! The room was clean, no smells or anything amiss. We made use of the mini kitchen for breakfast and dinners. Their free breakfast is pretty minimal (think mini muffins, coffee, granola bars and minute oats) so we headed to the nearby Winn Dixie for groceries when we arrived. Lovely staff! The lady at the front desk (I think her name was Bianca) is very hard-working​ and accommodating! She worked a long, late shift Sunday… she was actually the one to give us the cookware me needed for the kitchen and bring us extra towels later on in the night. She was there bright and early the next morning too! Such a lovely and funny person. Eddie, the shuttle driver was also very personable, and humorous; we had a nice drive back to the airport with him! Overall, I would have to say we greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come here again when in the area! :)

The hotel has a good location. There are a variety of shops nearby.
The hotel itself needs renovation.
The rooms are all old. The beds are uncomfortable. The pillows are wooden.
Creeping little ants. The noise from the air con and the fridge is very strong. The shower is old and unclear how the mixer works. 5 minutes waiting for warm water on the 3rd floor.
Do not get breakfast when booking. He's not here. There is a coffee and a sweet muffin at the reception. Had to go to the café Myra Harbour on the same side of the street near the shops. He's with 6.30 is open.
The staff are friendly.
Except the location is no good anymore.

The rooms are OK, the water pressure in the shower is minimal at best, and the water is only luke warm at best. One of the worse Exstended Stay Hotels I have ever visited.

What a rip off! I can spit with more water pressure than the luke warm shower. Hair on the bed… not mine. Hair on the dingy towels… not mine. Bed has springs poking at you. No shampoo. Tiny TV. Just plain gross. All this for $229/night. Can you say price gouging?

The extended stay in Ft. Lauderdale with the address 6001 was not what I expected at all. Needed to be updated probably 5 years ago was kind of a pit. Way overpriced for what you get, cleaning service was always late. Semi trucks were always parked there over night & not enough parking spaces. This was my first time at an extended stay & will probably be my last time I normally stay at Marriott & there worth the $ to stay there. Marriott is always your best bet.

It was clean and the people are nice!

The beds were very small and uncomfortable. The room had an odd smell. And the parking lot was much too small for the size.

Friendly staff, close to many shops & restaurant, comfy rooms with many amenities (fridge fitted with freezer, guest laundry) and affordable prices! Recommended!

Awesome we are working in Port Everglades and it is very convenient and they have wonderful amenities.

This hotel was positively the worst in our experience in years of travel. The advertised amenities were the reasons for booking this hotel. These amenities were, for the most part nonexistent resulting in late appointments. Can you believe NO HOT WATER? A NIGHTMARE! The rating is lower than 1 star…

Not sure what the other reviewers are looking for for under 100$ in Fort Lauderdale. This isn't a motel six! I stayed here on July 12th 2013. I travel for business. The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The property is well maintained and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room is an efficiency, not just a plain boring hotel room, you have a kitchen in your room complete with sink, stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots, pans, cups, silverware, etc… A weeks stay here would be a dream. The bed was comfortable, the room impeccable. They are almost finished renovation of all the rooms to what I stayed in, and it looks great.
