Its barely is worth it. The rooms are looking old and the furniture is scratch. The balcony is disgusting. Looks like it has not been cleaned in a year. I went out on my balcony and in addition to it being disgusting, I see toenails on the balcony. Who knows how long its been there since the balconies don’t appear to be maintained.

A bit disappointed with the front desk manager on duty tonight. Called ahead to make special arrangements for my daughters stay and they were less than helpful and kind. I am always disappointed to get crappy service from a Hilton property. Part of the reason we are gold and stay loyal to the brand is for the service so when it lacks it is obvious. I truly wish I had made the reservation at the marina property down the street where we have had great experiences time and time again.

My children and I really enjoyed the beautiful property, especially the pool with the waterfall! The spacious size of the suite was very comfortable for a family with children. Served a great grab and go breakfast. The rooms are a little outdated, especially the bathrooms. However, the service and the location is great!

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room is like a one bedroom apartment. The view from the balcony at night is gorgeous. The location is perfect… 5 min in any direction from everything. I give this place 5 stars!

My family and I stayed here over the weekend for our family reunion and had a wonderful time! The front desk staff, particularly Gloria and Rebecca, were extremely helpful and patient when assisting us. They were both more than kind while engaging with us and deserve to be recognized!

Honor reservations rather than kick them out to another hotel, another family walked in after we were told they were over booked and didn't have our reserved room available… and they checked right in. Totally unacceptable.

Nice place but not sure it is worth the money. Love the rooms. Wife can sleep while I sit in living room and watch tv.

I have no complaints about my stay. My experience has been great. I came hear for a week long conference. My room is clean and comfortable. The decor isn't the most modern but that's fine. It feels very home-y. While I don't drink, the happy hour is a good time to hang out and chat with my peers. Simple snacks are provided. The snacks consist of popcorn, chips, pretzels, pita chips, fresh raw veggies, hummus, and ranch. Breakfast is also good. Omelets are made to order. There are options for pretty much anyone for breakfast. The conference rooms were comfortable and they had good and functional. The pool area was very nice and I saw many families enjoying themselves. The indoor courtyard was beautifully green and relaxing with water falls and plenty of cafe style seating. I would have liked to have seen cozier chairs to lounge in. There are lots of dining options nearby. Bottom line is this place is comfortable and attractive. Not cutting edge or overly fancy. It never felt stuffy. I hope to come back again.

My fiance and I decided to stay here in comparison to one of the beach side hotels because of the free breakfast and because of the experience we had at another Embassy in Anaheim, CA. We initially wanted to stay at the W Hotel or Westin but when I came down to cost we figured why not stay somewhere a little cheaper and just drive to the beach (10 min drive). Initially everything was going great, the rooms are extremely outdated, the TVs only offer about 6 HD channels and maybe 10 cable channels (some without sound). However, we settled, I mean we weren't here to stay in our rooms all day. However, we come back to the room one day and the vent is leaking, like pouring water I had to place an ice bucket underneath it to keep it from soaking the floor. We had an engineer come and fix it. 2 days later it happened again, we had to change rooms. When I discussed our issue with the manager she did kindly comp 2 nights from our 7 day stay which I will give them that BUT bottom line, sure stay if money is the main concern, but if you have the option to choose any other hotel, I would highly recommend you do so. To end things on a somewhat positive note, the breakfast was OKAY, we actually only went twice because it wasn't anything special. I will say I enjoyed the evening reception and the pool was nice. Hope this helps!

Our room was not clean when we checked in and was barely cleaned daily. There was dust everywhere. We had a premium room but had to keep calling for the snacks that were supposed to be in our room (we traveled with small children and reserved a premium room because of that). At check out Jose didn't want to give us a receipt because "company policy" stated that he couldn't which I found rather ridiculous. The building and grounds themselves were beautiful.

Here for the second time on business. Beautiful hotel, great customer service, and clean rooms. I love how they text you every day to make sure that your stay is going well. The Hilton honors app makes it super easy to get in touch with them before you arrive and they respond quickly to your chats! And the shuttle driver went above and beyond to find me at the airport when I could not find him, walking around for 20 minutes on my phone with me trying to find me. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And of course as an added bonus the made to order omelettes in the morning and drinks and snacks at night are fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at this Hilton property. It's been around for a while and could stand some updates, but the pool was great for my teenager. You can never beat the free breakfast. Omelets, eggs over… pretty much what ever you want from fruit, to toast/bagels, really good bacon, juices, milk, Coffee, tea, pancakes, oatmeal… you are insane to go out and pay when you get a great breakfast. The premium room benefits were nice too. We had snacks, sodas and goodies delivered plus they refill and it's part of your room cost. It's a nice amenity. And, they still have movies… a rare deal in most properties anymore.

Loved the attached living room which included a couch and table. There was a wet bar with a mini fridge and microwave which is nice. The linens we're soft and they had free drinks at the bar downstairs from 530 to 730!

We stayed at this location over the past weekend a lot of families having reunions ment way too many people in the way the pool was out of serves due to this and staff was rude the whole time. No breakfast due too a long line of rude people and rude staff hsppey hour was much of the same too many people no good staff. The room I was in had a big bug in the bathroom. No cleaning staff ever came into our room for cleaning.

I love this hotel. Have stayed here the last 2 years for Supercon. Wonderful breakfast included with room, great staff, rooms spacious and comfortable, great location (5 min to the beach, walking distance to convention center, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance), any issue we had (TV not working) was fixed in a timely manner. Late check outs available upon request ($20 for first hour and $10 a hour after that up to 5pm). Hotel staff was courteous and made you feel at home. Pool is spacious and hot tub was nice and hot. Had a great stay would recommend and will stay here again and again.

Spacious and quiet rooms. Beautiful atrium with free made to order omelets and more at breakfast. Free drinks and small snacks at 5:30 to 7:30. If you order a drink at the bar before free happy hour, it's a measured pour, but the free ones are generous. Lush pool area. Hotel short walk to grocery, wine and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Hugh room. Check-in process expeditious however had to inquire about Wi-Fi. Love the fact happy hour & breakfast included in room rate; need to return to free parking! Need to vary breakfast menu and work on breakfast potatoes! Coffee delicious! Hotel convient to trolley line — great for sightseeing, access to hot spots — beach & Las Olas! Beautiful atrium area and hotel bustling with guests for various activities!

I love the Embassy. Hotel shows a little age, but it's a big, beautiful hotel. Room is very clean. Employees are courteous, friendly and helpful. Near shopping and grocery store. Very near cruise ship and airport. Stayed after cruising.

Room was pleasant facing east. Morning sunshine on balcony and into bedroom. Bathroom opens directly into bedroom so might disturb partner. Housekeeping was a little off. Used towels needed to be on floor to be replaced, no note on that. Good breakfast buffet but did get very crowded and difficult to find table. Pleasant 7 day free drinks and snacks early evening. Used valet, they were helpful and worth the $3 extra. Nice pool.

This is a hotel. Gardens ans waterfalls. Mostly everyone I encountered, during my week+ long stay, was more than pleasant and accommodating from check-in through to check-out. The free breakfast was lovely as well, something for everyone, whether you are sitting down for a made-to-order omelet, sausage, bacon, potatoes and pancakes, or if you are grabbing coffee, or a banana and yogurt on the go. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely stay again.

Felt processed; busy location nearby cruise terminal so they should be top notch at handling a full guest load. From the parking negotiation arriving at the front of the building, to the overwrought breakfast crowd at 8.30am because it closes too early at 9.00am, to there being nobody to check out with on a Thursday at noon, this was my most disappointing Hilton brand experience ever. As a Hilton Diamond member I have experienced almost all the Hilton brands in the last year. This property was not sufficiently focused on its guest experience.

Love, love, love this hotel! I visit here frequently and the staff alone is a perfect 10 the Hot breakfast that is served every morning is the best. Ms. Kathleen at the front desk is gem alone. I over love her she greets you with a smile always and very hilarious. She always makes my stay comfortable and happy. The rooms are very cozy, the beds are soft and it stands Alone to any other, I'll tell everyone I no about this hotel it's the best, try it check it out. You won't be disappointed.

They put us on the twelfth and highest floor in the hotel. I ordered a kids salmon meal, and it turned out to be very tiny = (. Hotel employees provided very little lotion and soap, the pool (compared to the big hotel) was kind of small, and the restrooms were dirty. On the good side though, it is pet friendly and has a happy hour, where they serve snacks. The hotel also has dining-in suites, where they deliver food to your room. The outside is really pretty (beautiful flowers! ) and there are lots of nearby stores, such as a Publix (grocery goods store)

Great place in all the ways that matter! I couldn't care less if the furniture looks dated. The mattress and bedding were top of the line in comfort. The 2 room suite with extra sinks and mirrors are easy to share with family. The outdoor pool area is beautiful and relaxing. The free hot breakfast is great, although we barely got any because we didn't realize it ended at 9 am and we had just flown in from an earlier time zone. All that plus a free cocktail hour. What's not to love? The only real negative was the check in. They have a whole lot of rooms and an apparent shortage of cleaning staff. Rooms were not ready at 3:00. Still not ready at 4:00. A crowd of unhappy people were hovering in the lobby. Management should consider handing out free drink tickets to encourage people out to that nice patio and pool area.

Pretty structure, close to the port. Not worth the $421 for the 1 night we stayed. Breakfast had runny scrambled eggs, under-cooked bacon and staff couldn't keep up (not their fault with the sheer number of people around). Dinner in the hotel took over 2 hours to get 3 hamburgers with fries and sodas. Service was horrible there in the restaurant. Didn't go to the pool, so not sure about it. Front desk was very helpful and kind. I would stay again if the price was lowered.

Hotel is great for families with kids. It is well situated not far from the airport, close to Everglades cruises' port. Spaces rooms, great breakfast, nice size pool. Drinks and snacks are offered every evening. Furniture is a bit dated.

It isn't bad but needs a refresh on the entire room. The rooms are big but not really kept up over the years. The refrigerator didn't work and while it was clean, it wasn't really clean at same time. The hotel gets a lot of people going on cruises and stay before/after their cruise. Free happy hour each day with couple beer choices and well booze. The pool is nice and hot tub seem hot. I would not stay here again for long stay. The area has a lot of restaurants and some walkable from the hotel. The staff were not most professional but were ok. Cleaning crew entered the room twice when do not disturb was posted and had to be called to clean when do disturb was not posted.

Very nice facility. Spent 3 nights there in late January. It was very busy with cruise ship passengers but the staff did a great job. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, and kept fresh. The evening managers reception was also good. The hotel is with in easy walking distance of many restaurants and a shopping center. When it was time to leave, the staff was to our room at the correct time to retrieve our luggage, for the shuttle over to the ship. We will stay here again, in the future.

The Embassy Suites is a very nice hotel. The rooms are decorated in a modern style and a lot of cleanliness is attached. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The whole complex is modern and nicely furnished. Breakfast in the tastefully decorated restaurant is recommended. The buffet is rich and varied. It was a nice stay at this hotel.

Stayed here overnight prior to a cruise. Convenient to port, grocery stores, and a bunch of restaurants, all within walking distance. Shuttle to port is well organized and pretty expedient. We did leave pretty early, versus time recommended to get there by the cruise, so if you wait you may have a different experience. Room was relatively clean. Very spacious, kitchen area, microwave and mini fridge. I was worried about noise when we arrived as there was what seemed like a bit of a rowdy wedding after party going on, but my fears were unfounded. It was quiet and crowds disbursed around ten or so. We will stay here again if we cruise from the Fort Lauderdale port again.

Lovely hotel! I was fortunate to be on the 10th floor overlooking the city and Port Everglades. The room was a two queen sized suite with separate living room area. The hotel is in the heart of town and has access to every store and restaurant you made need. The hotel offers a full complimentary breakfast buffet with an omelet station. Rooms are extremely clean. If you choose to stay there, make your reservation with Kathleen. She is a gem!

This was a great hotel! There's a really nice fountain in the middle of it. Nearby is the breakfast area, which could be a bit larger for the number of guests. The food was okay, but not great. The rooms were excellent, they were good size, very clean, and modern. There were 3 sinks in our room. Definitely would recommend that you stay here.

This place is beautiful. Although I have never stayed here, I'd love to. I've only visited for a church event, and my daughter's Homecoming party. Great service.

Spectacular the entrance and the garden which give the impression of being in the forest, but very bad rooms are antiquated and not really functional.

After reserving a room for an upcoming trip to Florida in February, I tried to amend the reservation to use Hilton honors points for part of it. Reservations department required additional assistance from one of the property managers. Julie Russell was so extremely kind and helpful in accomplishing the change. She took time out of her day and arranged a conference call with me and the reservations department to ensure the transition went smoothly and was completed correctly. I truly appreciate her professionalism and customer service and look forward to staying at this hotel in a few months. Thank you, Ms. Russell.

This hotel is beautiful inside and out. They have the standard breakfast and manager's reception every day, there's a great outdoor pool area, and an outdoor pond/waterfall with fish you can feed. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. The Christmas decorations are up now as well, and they're great! The rooms are not as updated as newer Embassy Suites that I've stayed in, but they're still nice.

Great facility, gorgeous grounds, can be very busy on cruise days, so be very patient. Very close to dining (within walking distance) or onsite, rooms are very very nice, I'd def stay here again. Very much worth the $149 rate I paid. Would be well worth $200 a night. Elevators are a bit slow. Can park and cruise.

We arrived today. A little chaotic at check in, had to wait for a to. However, every room is a suite and has an outside balcony. Our suite has 2 TV, 3 sinks, 1 in the bathroom, one in the bedroom and a 2nd in the small kitchenette area. The rooms include a fridge, microwave, Keeurig and a regular coffee pot. They offer free made to order breakfast from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and light snacks with free drinks from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Very nice large pool, beautiful interior.

Love this place. We stayed here before our Carribean cruise and it was great. Happy our for guests in the lounge and free breakfast and really good. Staff is all very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here while in Fort Lauderdale.

The complimentary cocktail hour is awesome. The pool at this hotel is awesome. And the breakfast was large and didn't feel rushed. It was a nice experience.

Location is great for shopping and eating. Very close to the port. I was travelling with two other couples, we were caught in a rain down pour and when we arrived at the site from our walk, we were greeted with towels to dry off. First class service.

The staff here are the greatest! Cynthia at the front desk is awesome. The evening girls at the front desk are so nice also. All of the wait staff and bartenders especially Laura and Amy are first class!

The best hotel I've ever been to. Free hot breakfast with cooked to order omelets, free drinks and snacks at happy hour every night, a pool with a waterfall and water at the perfect temperature, and an interior courtyard with even more waterfalls! The rooms are huge and have great amenities. Plus it's very close proximity to lots of restaurants and some shopping. Extremely highly recommended!

I took off 1 star just because we arrived around 4:30 and our room still wasn't ready, but other than that everything was great. They gave us a $25 voucher for the restaurant because of the room debacle. The room was clean and spacious. There are a lot of stores and restaurants close by. There's a happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 with free drinks which was awesome! And there's a really nice free breakfast in the morning with omelettes made to order.

We had an awesome time at this hotel during the grand family reunion. The Family enjoyed every meal that was selected for the Reunion, 1 minor issue with the lasagna, should've been without meat. They enjoyed the breakfast, happy hour and light snacks that were included everyday. IT WAS A WONDERFUL WEEKEND! We enjoyed the hotel some much, after running all wknd as the chairperson and a committee member, we stayed an additional night to relax and enjoy leisure time.

Great suites with friendly service. Fresh made to order breakfast. Suites are giant and extremely comfortable. Only complaint about this hotel is that the Wi-Fi is basically nonexistent on higher floors. Currently staying on the 8th floor and getting 1.5 mbps.

Great location, nice decor, accomodating staff. Love the pool. Carpets were dirty, paint was peeling, attention to detail was lacking. Overall better than many hotels, just not as good as a few others. 4 out of 5 stars.

Room was clean, beds were amazing. Bathroom was also clean but a little small. It was a 2 room suite (as are all of them). The breakfast left much to be desired. Eggs were not cooked all the way, bacon was still way undercooked as were the potatoes.

We love Embassy Suites as they offer great rooms for families, included breakfast, and free happy hour. This location has an amazing garden-setting pool with a waterfall. It is close to restaurants, shopping, services and a kids indoor playground (Funderdome), but is FAR from the beach. It is not walking distance and the local trolley is slow and unreliable. Overpriced for its location.

The room was decent, and service was excellent and timely. The breakfast was also delicious. The only conceiveable problem was with the Wi-Fi access, which is rather confusing.

A few of us travel over 100 days a year for work. We were in the Fort Lauderdale area for over a month and stayed here every night of it. The hotel is in great shape and the location is ideal for work and play. The Embassy breakfast buffet in the mornings are fantastic and the manager's reception at night is great too. I would like to give a shout out to Nicole, and the bar staff in the evenings. You guys rock! We will be back.

Rooms were great and breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts. Parking was WAY over priced (the real reason it wasn't a 5 star) but they do offer an airport shuttle. It's something I normally care about, but the business center is pretty out of date (in case that's something that's important to you).

The hotel itself is very nice however the rooms definitely need updating. The tub was ridiculously small and the decor looked like very cheap hotel furniture. We were in an "upgraded" suite which cost us considerably more however it looked the same as any other embassy suite hotel room. Not sure how they even considered it upgraded. Also we had an issue with the noise. We were on the 10th floor and all the honking, fire trucks, motorcycles, etc. Kept us up almost all night. The hotel needs better insulation considering it's surrounded on all sides by busy streets. Valet parking was $20 a day and self parking is $18. Guess which one everyone ends up doing. Service was average not many smiles or much friendliness at all. Felt very taken advantage of in this hotel experience and will not stay here again. By the way we are Hilton Honors members so we stay at a lot of Hilton hotels including Embassy Suites. This one was not a good experience and will not be staying here again.

The room was great, and breakfast in the morning was good too. The only downfall was the pullout couch bed that could have was a bit hard to lay on.

Just got in at 1:30 in the morning. Long travel day. I checked in the day before for a different floor and room. When I arrived they put us in a different room. What have an app that lets you pick your room and they don't hold it for you. When we got to our room there was hair on the bed and the bathroom was not cleaned. Hair, pubic hair on the walls and basin of the tub. The white sheets were stained. I feel like I am living in an episode of hotel impossible. Also the carpet is wet from the dripping vents. I was advised to turn the air up to 72 and it with diminish but not stop dripping on the carpet. I requested new sheets and blankets and had to change my own bed linens. I am a diamond card holder for Hilton. I have never ever had an experience like this at any hotel chain and we travel a lot. Very disappointed.

Recently stayed with 14 family members pre and post cruise. I have always loved embassy suites and love the Hilton brand which is why I am a Hilton honors member. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I love to travel and this is the first time I was counting the minutes until checkout and we could leave. I discovered as the night went on that our room was infested with cockroaches. When I notified the front desk they put me through to the managers voicemail. I left a message but never heard from the manager. They sent the bell man with new room keys for a new room four doors down. As I looked closer it appeared that other rooms on the floor where stripped, all drawers open, light on, as if they were attempting to kill something. I got no sleep and the manager didn't even have the decency to ensure that we were taken care of. Very disappointed that at check out Cynthia at the front desk was left doing the managers job of ensuring our concerns were heard. Maybe she should get Jeff's paycheck since he doesn't actually do anything and when there is a customer complaint he doesn't respond. Very disgusted with the sanitary conditions of this hotel. I will never stay here again. I think that this hotel needs inspected. Don't stay near Rm 320 its infested with cockroaches!

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast and customer service is amazing. We are staying here for our honeymoon waiting for our cruise tomorrow. Dead tired after a long delayed night flight we got here at 9 a. M. Check-in starts at 4 pm but Kathleen at the front desk helped us check in early and even gave us a little gift basket. We so appreciate it. We really needed thee rest!

Very clean and staff was more than helpful. Valet was great and very fast. The breakfast was excellent!

Parking issues with the boat show in town. They were renting parking to people that were not hotel guests.

We stayed at this Embassy Suites post cruise, I agree with the rest of the reviews, horrible and dirty. This place needs a complete overhaul in cleaning. I saw popcorn and clothing tags left on the floor wasn't vacuumed, I couldn't wait until we checked out of there. I felt being near the port after the cruise would be helpful. NOT! Some of the workers there are not professional, most were but some questionable. I will never come back here again.

Worst embassy suites I've been too. Parking is a complete joke, where valet is the only feasible option and the nightly drinks are the worst I have ever had. Staff is rude to boot. Won't book here again.

This Embassy felt a little dated and the staff as a whole was a little sub par. However, it's a typical Embassy Suites with all the usual luxuries.

So this is our first time here and possibly the last time. The elevators are way to small and there aren't enough for the fact that the hotel is really big and has many stories. The beach isn't close (walking distance) and there is nothing to do around. And if you have a car you have to pay $20 dollars a day! And the housekeeping is terrible they don't vacuum, they leave the trash just laying around everywhere. I do really like the pool and the way it looks inside the lobby.

One of the bins had rubbish (possibly from the guest before), a cockroach visited us during dinner (hotel's response was that it possibly came from outside through the balcony door which we never opened) and had to ask for a ironing stand so that we can iron our clothes (called the front desk approx 30 mins ago and haven't received it as yet up to time of this post). Duration of stay: 1 night You be the judge.

Big rooms, convenient location, free breakfast and drinks at night.

The bed frame cut my husbands leg and the manager was more concerned about how much we made a year. The happy hour ran out of bud light on Saturday and still don't have any Monday night. The housekeeping staff left our dirty dishes in the hallway at 400 and they are still there. The rooms need updating.

It may have cruise parking for only $7 per day, but don't expect good valet customer service. Came back to a dent in my car and got called a liar. Their system for car inspections is sub-par at best. The hotel itself was excellent though.

Its a great hotel very nice personal had no issues with the cleaning personal but the only thing is you have to pay for internet 10.00 a day and parking is very expensive 18.00 to park it yourself or 21.00 for valet parking which I think isn't wort it. You would figure in this day and time you would at least have free internet like the holiday inn down the street.

Great hotel but with the money you pay you still have to pay for Wi-Fi.

The Wi-Fi cost $10 a day and the hotel food was cafeteria quality. It is 2014 and Wi-Fi isn't a perk its a necessity. There are a variety of nice hotels in Fort Lauderdale. From the outside this hotel looks like one of them but I can not recommend any hotel without free Wi-Fi.

I've stayed in numerous Embassy Suites and have come to expect a consistent level of good service and accommodations. This property was a huge disappointment, it was very run-down. My guess is because there are so many travelers who stay for only a night (either before or after a cruise). The hotel appears very old and is in drastic need of being updated, remodeled. The entire hotel smelled musty.

This was my second stay. The front desk staff is very courteous and helpful (only reason service is rated GOOD). On my most recent visit in March 2013, the toilet was not working and I called the front desk for a plummer. I waited 23 minutes and finally called again wondering if I needed to go out and purchase a plunger myself. After the plummer, housekeeping was supposed to clean the floor, but it remained unclean after I returned to my room. I wrote a letter to the hotel manager, Don Friedman, and there was NO response. The plumbing in the building is outdated and will need to be updated. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my professional colleagues and friends.
