HORRIBLE stay! Chose due to closeness to red rocks for a concert; mother/daughter trip; the most rude staff we’ve ever encountered; asked simple questions upon arrival (Wi-Fi password and pool locations) and we were completely ignored; NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVE in room, asked staff about it and they argued that they were “pretty sure” the rooms had fridges; settling into bed after the concert and a creepy older gentleman knocked on our door and told us to be quiet because a mother/child were trying to sleep; we literally were settling into bed and so confused! I’ve never left a bad review in my life; have 4 kids age 9-14 and travel across the states; DO NOT STAY HERE!

Booking a room for a conference was an absolute nightmare. The staff sent me to multiple different people via email and no one could answer my questions. They all asked me to contact someone else. Their emails were like text messages and the staff kept asking me the same questions multiple times even when the information was in previous emails. I still have been unable to book a room for the conference. My school district will not make a payment with a credit card and no one seems to know if I can book a reservation another way. Also, no one at the hotel seems to know that the Steve Spangler conference is happening at the hotel in June with a discounted conference rate. Steve Spangler’s Manager was awesome when I reached out to her. However, the hotel has a horrible staff & horrible customer service.

Our king room was reserved but was unavailable upon our arrival. We were offered a queen size room and were told that “higher status” guests will sometimes request a reserved room and they can’t hold the prior reservation. The statement was made by a front desk member and while there was a language barrier, it was less than nice to hear. After a bit of contemplating and discussion with the staff, we were somehow given a king size room. We went into the room that they gave us and it smelled like cigarette smoke on the bed. The smell was light but was also enough to give my wife a headache. After some deliberation, we asked for a different room and decided to take the queen size room offered to us before. The staff needed approval for a room change which took a little while but he eventually got us taken care of. We went to the next room and the moment we opened the door, a strong smell of cigarette smoke hit me square in the face. We immediately left that room and went back to the lobby to request a new room, again. A different desk worker assisted us and was very helpful. He was able to get us into a new room and aside from the room being a queen room instead of a King room, it was fine. The main issues were the reservation that was unfulfilled and the time spent moving rooms twice. We had reservations made at an event and the time spent moving rooms left us no time for dinner and a rushed evening.

A very well run facility. It has been an establishment in Denver’s history for some time and it’s still running smooth.

We stayed there on a trip to Red Rocks. It was awesome! We booked a club room and it was great having access to the lounge. We will book there again when we visit RedRocks again.

Really love this place, clean spacious room. Friendly staff. Always love Marriot hotels.

Easy access. But no on-site laundry. Disappointed in that.

Excellent time highly recommend if looking for a place for your event.

Rooms have nice beds but the tub moved and creaked like you were going to fall through. Our AC broke in the middle of the night and there was no maintenance person. No compensation for a miserably hot stay. No coffee out for guests. Will not be staying there again.

Front desk customer service is very unprofessional. I woke up at 845 to construction and wasn’t told on check in I’d be woke up. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t get one but I could get a free room on a differnt floor. I declined and asked for the regional managers number. My sister called back down and instead of me calling the manager Monday morning saying we would take a free room. She was told that’s no longer an option and that it could now be a discount, then proceeded to ask what I paid for the room. We told her to have a good day and I’d be calling Monday and writing an email to corporate. To top it off the shower was backed up and wouldn’t drain. I travel for a living and I can’t believe that a hotel would treat their customers like this.

The food is awesome the service outstanding had a meeting there the last two days and they just took such good care of us. Thank you all.

Working with the Sheraton's staff for our wedding weekend has been amazing. They set up our block and showed us rooms over email quickly and without issues. Then they took us back through everything when we showed up without an appointment to double check the reservations. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We are here almost every other weekend and we love it… Customer Service is great… They do whatever they can to make your stay wonderful… Tiara goes beyond her job if you need anything. : if you have a question, she will find the answer if she does not know it… She is amazing…

Nice hotel and its location near the Federal Center is extremely convenient. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. The bar/restaurant in the lobby is very good but on the expensive side. There are a number of restaurants in the hotel's vicinity if you'd rather eat cheaper. I will definitely stay here again on return trips.

Nice room and great view of the mountains. The restaurant food was pretty good. The gym is awesome, spacious and has a good amount of equipment. A couple pieces of equipment should be updated but it still works. So no issues from me.

I attended a conference with break out sessions at the hotel for one day. The hotel staff were in attendance during session transitions to help with the flow of people and point people where to go. They provided ice water, starbucks coffee, and a large assortment of teas (with lemon slices and tiny jars of honey) all throughout the day. The bathrooms were clean and in full working order. The conference rooms were clean and free of foul odor. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

Great rooms with each room having an internal thermostats… But a little on the expensive side for a one stop hotel. Especially since the morning continental breakfast is not free… They have a membership that if you plan on staying more often will definitely be helpful. They have a restaurant in the hotel so going out to eat isn't a problem unless you arrive after 10pm. All in all a good place to sleep.

Hotel is in a great location for West Denver. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are very nice. I believe they may be in the process of remodeling as the room I was in was fully updated.

I attended the ASHRAE conference last week and found the areas we used to be in great condition and the food we had for lunch was good and the service was timely. It was a little difficult to find parking, but that's more a function of having usual hotel attendance in addition to the conference.

Attended a technical conference here. Lunch was efficiently served to a large group, and everything tasted good. The hotel is kept nice as well.

We stayed here a about a week ago and had an awful experience. My wife and I got married at this hotel 4 years ago and had an amazing experience here, so we decided to have a weekend get away. We were staying on club level and our TV and phone did not work. We got moved to a different floor and the room was much smaller and worn down. The front staff told us the rooms were the same but a little smaller and she would place us on at the end of the hall so it would be quiet. The room was not quiet. The guest next to us had a conversation when they got back to their room at 10pm and we could hear the whole conversation with our TV on until 1am. The AC was loud and were woken up around 6am to a baby screaming. When we canceled our reservation for the next night. The staff did not care about our stay. I told the front desk person at check out that we did not have a good experience and she just asked if we got breakfast. I had to ask who to contact about my experience and I'm still waiting for someone to respond to me. Needless to say we will not be staying at this hotel again. Not worth the money.

The rooms were nice and they ask whether you prefer a mountain view or a city view of downtown denver. You can't really go wrong either way. Everything was clean, my only complaint is that there was no microwave. Breakfast was fantastic for a hotel, great fruit and lots of choices. They also give you vouchers for a free drink and appetizer. Overall I woild would stay here again.

Nice hotel with plenty of parking. Rooms are pretty nice (bathrooms are a bit small). The restaurant/bar in the hotel has good food and drinks and reasonably priced for being in a hotel.

Beautiful lobby and dining area. Comfortable and clean accommodations. Would recommend to anyone and will stay here again.

This hotel was definitely not worth the price. I paid 185 including tax for a room that I didn't even reserve! When we checked in, they gave us a queen standard when we reserved a club level king room and when we went down to the lobby to find out why we werent given the room we reserved we were told that they were all out of that room. A phone call or a notification on the website would have been helpful. Next time I will reserve a room at the comfort suites. It's cheaper and better quality. Don't waste your money to be given a room that you didn't reserve in the first place!

I love this place. Front desk people are awesome as well as the rest of the staff. And on top of it all, they are dog friendly.

Very disappointing. The rooms were old and dated. The hot water did not work in my shower and had to change rooms. Furnace was not working when I changed rooms. Had engineers come and fix it while I watched tv. Once working, it was the loudest furnace I have heard with loud and strange noises coming from it all night long. And… the jacuzzi was not working the entire week I was there…

Just chain Sheraton, with that there is no more Q say.

Ate at beau's restaurant. It was largely empty, but our server did a fantastic job. Checked up on us frequently, very personable, had a couple laughs, and an overall great time.

Great place to get away almost every other weekend to relax until our bathroom toilet didn't flush. I'm guessing it's the touch sensitive sensors they have on them or plumbing. We got it fixed 2 times and requested a better room the 3rd night. We got told because of our troubles we would get a complimentary room and they charged full for all 4 nights. Because of the Dishonesty and Confusion of communication, I will no longer be visiting this hotel every other weekend! Bummer!

The room service was great. The 12 the floor club access was excellent. Lot of food and drinks during happy hour. Go green options are new and meaningful.

Dinner in the American contemporary restaurant Beau's was freaking delicious. They were open Xmas day and fantastic food! Chicken parmesan and prime rib were outstanding! Best cheesecake I've ever had and I usually only eat it because a female I am there with orders it… Would def order it here again!

Very accommodating. Had to stay here for a week while the house was being renovated. Dogs are accepted for a minimal $30 fee/ stay. The rooms are large, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is great! All the staff are eager to help with your needs. Don't forget to ask for the CO resident discount!

Older hotel but still great. Very clean with excellent service. Loved the fruit water in the lobby and jacuzzi tub in our bathroom. Restaurant in the hotel was excellent and breakfast buffet was worth every penny. Great views from our room and the best hotel pool we have ever visited. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

Beautiful hotel! Staff was very friendly, rooms were well appointed and spotless. Their pool area was one of the nicest I’ve ever been to and we travel all the time for work. We were very pleased with everything! Would definitely stay here again!

Ive stayed here twice now and both times I have had not one complaint. Easy access to the rail right next door to the hotel for easy access to go anywhere in denver and to Denver International airport.

Location has a nice view from the back and is right by a light rail pick-up point. I walked there in a short time. It's also very close to 240 restaurant, which has great food and comes highly recommended. The staff is very accommodating. Oh, and stay on the twelfth floor of you can fit an added bonus… a nice one.

Great workout space. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet had healthy choices.

Love this place. Easy to get to. Staff is great. Price is over all good. But the pool and hot tube needs to be worked on or replaced. The chlorine was really strong when we went.

The Sheraton Denver west used to be a premier destination hotel on the sothwest side of town, but its Star has long since faded. Although management has gone to great lengths to COSMETICALLY improve the lobby and conference areas, they have neglected the rooms and reduced guest amenities. During my last stay, I encountered numerous maintenance issues in my room which included peeling paint, the vanity lights going out, a worn/damaged headboard, and a malfunctioning toilet. I also found the common areas to be to in need of attention and cleaning. If you're looking for a place to stay in Lakewood, I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere. I certainly will not be staying there again.

Service is stellar, however the hotel is showing it's age. Our room had to have the AC unit replaced and even then it only worked 50%. The in-room jacuzzi wouldn't turn on nor would the sitting area's TV. Having a bidet was really nice though! *Grin.

The location of the hotel was convenient, it's located adjacent to a highway and the public mass transit rail system. I could see a train stop from my room's window. Furnishings were decent, however the toilet took some figuring out. The tank did not have a handle nor was there a depressor lever at the base. Eventually I found out it was touch less on the top right hand side of the tank. I had to remove the tank's lid to discover the feature. Overall the hotel was clean, however when I checked in after midnight there was a room service tray outside my doom. Upon entering, I found that the soap had not been replaced and the room had not been fully turned down. I was extremely tired after my workday and flight in, and the bed had been made, so I decided not to bother anyone. I'm certain that had I contacted the front desk, they would have given me a different room. It just wasn't worth my effort. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had no complaints about any of them. Overall, the hotel was fairly average, but I would get willing to stay there again for the price, $190/night.

This place is awful. They charge a 5 star price for a 2 star hotel… The entry way, parking area, carpet, and more are filthy dirty. I didn't want to touch anything… Our sink in the bathroom backed up and created a big mess, about midnight, notified front desk. Didn't even offer to have someone come clean it, said it would have to wait until the next day. One lady at the front desk was rude when we talked to her about our concerns. The pool had so much chlorine in it, my eyes burned just walking into the pool area. The drain on the shower was missing so all you see is a disgusting black hole! Wish I could post pictures of our sink they wanted to leave till the morning! Gross!

Poor customer service. Will not be staying here again. Untrustworthy housekeepers… 30 mins after leaving the hotel, I had realized that I had left my necklace in my room. I called the front desk and the woman on the phone told me that no one had been up to the room yet. I gave her specifics as to where the necklace was and when she called back she had said the housekeeper claimed that it was not there. However, I know that it was there. Bottom line-do not leave anything out in the room it will probably get stolen :-)

Spent a friday night with my daughter and 3 of her friends for her 16th birthday.
The girls absolutely loved it!
We took advantage of club level… well worth it.
Coctail hour was exactly what this mom needed! The best crab cakes I have ever had, even the girls liked them.
Robes were also a big hit! As was the pool and hot tub!
Bed were very comfortable after a long night of cosmic bowling and the Brunswick on kipling just a few minutes away.
Breakfast on club level was sensational and what a view!
We all really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The hotel is old and it is showing its age. The rooms are decorated back in the 80's and are in dire need of an upgrade. Our room had a few issues. The air conditioner was very loud whenever it was on. We got used to it after a few hours but would wake up in the middle of the night when it would kick on. The toilet seat was very loose to the point where if you shifted at all while sitting on it you would get knocked off balance. Ask me how I know this :-) The toilet also backed up while we were there which is never fun. The hot water in the sink would take a very long time to be available and certain times of day it wasnt available at all. The walls are very thin and we had to call the front desk to quiet down our neighbors who came back to their room to hang out and talk at 4am. The only saving grace was the staff. They were professional and courteous and very attentive to our needs.

Easy hotel if you're planning to ski the next day — — its about an hour from Keystone. The front desk people were really helpful and attentive. Great stay. Will be back.

Very nice place, particularly for the price. The included breakfast also very good. The room was elegant as well, with all the comforts you would expect of a higher end hotel.

The hotel was great. The bathrooms could have used a little updating, but overall it was comfortable, the beds were really comfy, there was always hot water, staff was very courteous and they allow big dogs! Great views from either side, of Denver and the Mountains. Easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops, the Wi-Fi was horrific though and it takes 7 to 10 business days for a "hold" to fall off of a debit card. But overall not bad for the rate we paid.

The hotel rooms were very nice with comfy beds. The staff service, however, lacked tremendously. Upon check-in we had to deal with a lady who made us very uncomfortable (not friendly at all, took 20 minutes to check us in because she didn't know what she was doing — a manager had to come help her). The next day (we reserved 2 nights) our keys shut off while we were in the downstairs restaurant eating lunch. I didn't have my purse with me so the manager had to follow me up to my room and check my ID. Very frustrating and inconvenient. Then upon check-out we were accused of smoking in our room (absolutely 100% not true) and fined $200. We spoke with Katie in accounting who was EXTREMELY rude and told us to dispute the charge because they have "evidence" that we smoked in the room. I called back the next day and spoke with her manager, Sarah, who was very nice. She looked into the charge, called us back 2 hours later, and told us she would refund the charge. There was no evidence of us smoking in the room. One other thing to note, the club lounge was not acceptable. The hors d'oeuvres were chips and salsa (seriously? ) and the breakfast did not have any hot items, only pastries and a bowl of fruit that had been picked through. Was not happy about that and when I complained to the manager he didn't offer a refund or anything to make me happy. I would not stay here again.

Roaches. We had a toilet over flow on us for no reason at all. One of the lights didn't work and to top it off we found a roach on the curtain. When we reported this to the office they replied " Colorado isn't a roach friendly state. " Which is a bunch of bull. Basically calling us liars. I will NEVER return and will make sure that everyone who is looking for recommendation for hotels stays clear from this place. What a horrible customer service experience.

I woke up today aug 5th, 2014 to go to my meeting, there was no water for the whole hotel. I walked to ask a favor from a restaurant across the street to wash my face. Still no water for more than 8 hours. The worst hotel ever. I asked some people there and they told me that happens a lot in this hotel to lost water for days. If u are looking for a hotel without water. Welcome to this hotel.

1. The internet is terribly slow and they use this to try to extort an extra $10/day for a measley extra 2Mbits of internet. The Best Western has 30Mbits for free. 2. The water stopped working all day Tuesday. No toilet, no running water, no shower. 3. The rooms are nothing special. Just average economy/cheap hotel rooms. I can hardly even leave this review the internet is so slow. I'm going to pay for the faster internet. On a positive note the staff has been helpful so far.
