The rooms were very clean/Comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly! Will Definitely stay here next time we are in town!

The room was very well kept huge and had a great fresh scent! I was impressed with the price I paid it waz a bargain!

It's not very clean. It's really a truck motel kinda place. They gave us the smallest room in the hotel because we used Expedia. So keep that in mind when booking. The breakfast was ok. They didn't serve eggs or meats because the hot plate was out of order. Leaving us with yogurt and waffles and some fruits. Good luck with this place.

The place was great the continental breakfast is good ice extremely appreciated the manager who was awesome and went out of his way to make sure that we were, dated in every way. It's a great value for the price and when I mean that I'm not saying that I paid $25 and got a bed on the floor. No I paid $90 and got a beautiful Studio like hotel room.

Very friendly front desk, decent breakfast, comfy room. Easy check in and check out. Convenient parking.

If you're looking just for a clean and convenient place to stay, Quality Inn on Ocean should fit the bill. However, this is not a vacation get away. There are more expensive options in Santa Cruz closer to the ocean and the board walk, something to keep in mind. If I were to book another stay in Santa Cruz, to spend a few days, I would opt for something a bit more cozy.

It was quiet and reasonably priced. They need to maintain the locks better it would take up to five tries before the lock would read the key card. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent though. I would definitely recommend if you just need a basic hotel room for the night.

Clean, good for what you need. Queen bed was hard but still had a good sleep. Good stay.

It's not fancy, but I stay here every time I'm in town. It's always clean, the bed is comfy and the management is gracious. It's also nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave in the room.

It's a cheap basic hotel, fairly clean but not perfect, and in need of some minor upkeep outside to make it feel a little less grungy. That being said for the price, it's certainly fine, the basic breakfast is passable and better than a straight continental breakfast.

Really enjoyed the place, front desk gentleman (Upen) was very helpful with everything. Room was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was hot and had a decent amount of options. It's not a fancy place but definitely a good place to lay your head. Prices differed slightly from online estimates.

Exterior is of a small older hotel, however it is decieving because the interior of the rooms have been nicely updated. We were greeted by friendly staff. The only criticism I have is that the breakfast was only warm and not hot.

We didn't come with very high expectations due to the fact that it's a motel in santa Cruz. However, this was a very nice motel! We got third floor and the desk man let us pick. Big clean bed, water pressure in the shower/bath tub was great. Fridge and microwave as well. And the free breakfast was hella bomb will be staying again!

It was a nice hotel for a good price. We were not really in it which was fine. It is an older hotel. Hardwood floors in the room. It was cleaned right before we got there. The guy let us check in early cause I needed the fridge for medication. They have a very small breakfast and I had no clue where the ice machine was. I didn't like that since we were on the ground there were two small windows looking in, one being in the bathroom. Kind of creepy! Other than that it was a very nice room in a quite area.

For an older motel it wasn't too bad but for the price I expected better. The floors were dirty like they hadn't been cleaned in a month and the whole place was run down. I might have been ok paying $20 or $30 a night.

Everything is wonderful here. The staff is polite and helpful and the rooms are very clean. The only down side is the poor Wi-Fi and lack of cable channel lineup. However, the breakfast spread is wonderful.

Summer prices over $300 which I was willing to pay as I was late in getting a hotel. I expected the Choice hotel to be similar to others I've stayed in. What we got was a 2 star motel. (Maybe 1.5) Obviously it was remodeled recently by someone inexperienced and the walls are paper thin. We got to listen to the harmonious snores of our neighbor all night. Plus the pillows are overly soft. Still, with the exception of one corner, the room was clean. The front desk employee was very polite and helpful. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Very comfortable beds. The room was pretty clean except for the floor. They should clean up the floors better. The Wi-Fi is good and it's away from all the traffic.

The room was middle ground. Nothing too special, nothing too horrible. The beds were a bit hard and I didn't sleep well as a result. The exterior is a little rough around the edges but it not too shabby. The breakfast was nice and the mini waffle maker was amazeballs. Staff was nice and responded to requests. If I were stay in Santa Cruz again I would probably stay there, but maybe look for a better place at a similar rate. 6/10.

This place gave away my room and never gave me my money back. Stay away from here.

Decent for the price; rate during the week was like $85, room was clean, away from road and pretty quiet, internet speed was very good up in the 80s, would go again if in the area.

Lousy breakfast. Pool was in parking lot! Not very charming surroundings or rooms.

Great place to crash for a night. Rooms were kept up nicely. Their hot breakfast was okay; far from the best. Great location within the center of town.

I had some business to do in SC and I was really stressed out making reservations at the last minute. When I arrived, the front office person was very kind. Seemed to genuinely care how I was feeling. We went to our room, it was clean, smelled good. There was an outside area where you can sit and do whatever. Room had more amenities then I expected. The bed was so cozy and the pillows, to DIE for. I asked if I could buy some, but alas, I could not. I recommend this place to anyone. It is an excellent price and it is smack dab in the middle of everything. Staff was awesome. I am going back in a week.

Never got to show up, because of a medical emergency! I got charged twice $233.99, and $253.99. The employees working here don't know what they're doing, nor do they have any compassion what so ever! foreigners.

Called to make a reservation and the male over the phone was very rude. I will never go there nor recommend anyone to go there.

We were satisfied with what we got for just 59$. The internet speed here is really good.

Nice and cosy. Stayed one night. Fine breakfast in the morning.
