Really nice hotel, and I was only there for a very short amount of time, basically only slept in it and left early morning. However, staff were clearly nice and professional, everything was clean, but the parking garage is tiny and you get sent to park on the street if there's no spots. The room was nice and very very spacious, a little mini living room and all. The pillows and beds were VERY comfy, the only strange thing I'd say is they gave us a room that was 5 feet from the breakfast table, so in the morning it was a very long term disturbance and I would've been irritated if not for me leaving so early anyhow. All in all, it was a short but good stay and no complaints. Definitely a little expensive for the room placement though.

Recently stayed at this hotel. The hotel's location is close to the beach and offers indoor parking. I was told when I checked in that I would be upgraded to a quiet room away from the street on the 3rd floor. The room was located facing a noisy street. In addition the AC is very loud. While the bed is comfortable, the pillows are hard. So if sleep is important, make sure you get a room away from the street and bring your own pillow. The Hotel doesn't feel like a BW Plus as it is old, dated, and amenities are minimal. For the price I paid, I won't return.

Loved the stay at Best Western in Santa Cruz friendly staff very accommodating clean room and I loved the jacuzzi tub.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Santa Cruz. Our room was spacious and accommodated my husband and children and I very well. We traveled with extended family and loved all the tables and chairs downstairs near the lobby — we gathered there one night to eat dinner together and play games. We always enjoy the free breakfast Best Western offers as well. It was also a convenient location — easy walking distance to the Boardwalk and to restaurants like Pizza My Heart. My only complaint is the price point is higher than other Best Westerns we stay at, but I'm sure that is just because of the coastal location. We would stay there again in the future.

Amazing hotel. Staff was so friendly and breakfast was always full, tons of options, even bacon! Would definitely stay again and would highly reccomend.

Area is easily accessible by car, parking is limited in the underground car park. There are very good restaurants in the area.
The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. We had room 101 (directly opposite the reception) and were completely satisfied with the size — room was very large, even had a couch with coffee table. For that, the bathroom was quite small (shower and toilet). The toilet flush is eerily noisy!
The really great thing about this hotel was breakfast. There was bacon, scrambled eggs, yogurt (from the machine), cereal, fresh sliced and whole fruits, waffles, great tea selection … And that was all really delicious! There's a lot of praise for that! I would book the hotel again immediately.

Very nice sized 2 bed rooms. Breakfast was good, parking… Not so much. Small compact spaces and not a whole lot of parking. While I stayed there it seemed many kids stayed there too and it could get quite loud at times due to this so if you're working graveyard shifts not the best place to sleep. Overall a good stay though. Clean rooms, normal shower (not a bath/shower).

Staff was very friendly, to me that's a big plus and will always bring me back to an establishment. There is nothing I hate more than going somewhere and they are rude or I can't understand them. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was eggs sausage bacon yogurt and toppings waffles bagels and breads and hardboiled eggs two thumbs up Boardwalk is only a 6 minute bike ride away. I would recommend this hotel and ill stay again. I only gave it 4 stars because the parking situation is very limited there is more rooms than parking spots and they give you a paper to put on your dash to park, if you get lucky enough to get a spot and we wished it had a pool other than that we had a great stay. Thank you to all the staff.

Large room, 2 TV, but otherwise … would have to be cleaned urgently. It's all very dusty on the cupboards, the lamps and the carpet would have to be sucked again. The signs with "do not disturb" or "please make the room" are not heeded. Too bad, because the rooms are really great, there is an underground car park and the Wi-Fi is also good.

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western in Santa Cruz. Staff were both helpful and friendly even and advise me on a Mexican restaurant that was truly a Mexican restaurant to eat at. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. And the breakfast was plentiful and delicious you will not go away hungry.

In the room it smelled like in the goat stable airing you could not, as there was only a window in the lobby, NOT outside rest OK.

Wonderful accommodations for someone in a wheelchair. We would stay again. Nice breakfast.
