We absolutely love this place! very cute! Has a comfortable bed, a small refrigerator with chilled champagne and 2 goodie bags! so freaking thoughtful! T. V works wonderfully lots of channels to actually watch something! they are very generous even with towels and toiletries! love, love love it! These Pacheco's will be back! Thank you.

It was a nice getaway for the Miss’s and I, a couple of hours from Covina.

Great place to stay, local to the harbour area for restaurants and bar. Rooms although a little dated were clean and tidy with comfortable beds, safe, a full kitchen with cooking facilities tea, coffee in the room. Laundry available also. Continental breakfast in the morning and cookies and milk in the evening. I would stop here again when I am in the area. Thanks again for a pleasant stay.

I love this Hotel! I think this is a wonderful place. It is so comfortable and quaint. Every morning there is a lovely continental breakfast, ready for the occupants. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They make everyone feel at home. There is a pool with a jacuzzi in the lovey garden area, with a walkway to the rooms. The staff does everything to make sure the guests feel at home, and we do! Please visit this jewel of Santa Barbara, Inn by the Harbor! You won’t be disappointed! Pam P.

This hotel is highly recommended, not least because of the very friendly service, clean rooms and the delicious and various snacks throughout the day.

Lovely place! Room 241 has a private balcony and a kitchenette! They offer cheese, crackers, almonds and Sparkling cider in the afternoon and homemade cookies in the evening… Love it!

Frank on the front desk, was very helpful, friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

Great place to stay close to beach and downtown State St clean, lots of amenities and the staff was very very friendly and helpful would highly recommend.

What a welcome, staff very attentive, room comfortable, although not on the front just a quick walk and your in the middle of town, would highly recommend!

Great hotel with some nice, cosy rooms. The pool and jacuzzi here are a perfect size and just deep enough to dive in. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, the complimentary food they have throughout the day is superb.

When you Go into the inside just great. Spent only one night, everything was ok. Fun.

This place is a great escape from LA! Immediately after arriving we had a glass of wine and felt taken care of. Walking distance to everything. Frank at the front desk is the best!

Great place to stay for a short visit. Close to the beach and close to state street. Staff is very nice and the free wine and cheese/cookies doesn't hurt.

Small but fine hotel in Santa Barbara. The hotel to the downtown is about a 10-minute drive away. Exactly the self-distance up to pier. The hotel has free bicycles. Parking is free and has enough parking. The courtyard with pool is also very nice. Every day at 4:30pm there is free cheese and wine in the small lobby. It's worth the money in any case.

Lovely hotel. Decor could do with updating and modernising. Loved that breakfast was included with our stay. Lovely touches that laundry facilities are available. Cheese and wine afternoons and the freshly baked cookies everyday was awesome. Lovely staff and always ready to help. Plus you could borrow bikes and helmets and go to a cycle round even better. Thank you for the lovely stay. We'll be back.

My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old daughter; it was our first vacation all together and we had a wonderful stay here! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool/hot tub area was quiet and relaxing, and the grounds were beautiful with all the palms, bougainvillea, and camellias. We asked for a room with two queens and got upgraded to a suite with a kitchen, which was a real treat with a baby! Breakfast had lots of options, and they were always happy to bring out a high chair. The staff were very friendly, especially Frank at the front desk who helped coordinate our move. He even told me I didn't have to go home if I didn't have too! I had been nervous about traveling with a baby, but the Inn by the Harbor made it a treat.

Was not happy, said our room was cleaned however sheets were dirty, housekeeping had an attitude and front office person passed blame on another front desk. I have stayed weekly at their sister hotels, had great service, here was just thrown together.

We just stayed there Feb 28 to Mar 5. The staff, especially Frank and William could not have been more helpful. The morning breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese was great. We had a deluxe queen and the kitchen was most useful. Very quiet at night, and we could walk to the Pier in 15-20 minutes, and I am a slow walker :) We took the trolley uptown. I had left some medicines in the bath, they found them, called me and are mailing to my home! My only complaint was drawer storage could be better. My wife packed for 5 days, 10 different outfits and it was a tad difficult putting stuff away.

This Inn is located in a rough part of town and right next to a ghetto apartment complex, the staff was nice and the room was clean, be warned that the parking is tight and make sure you lock your doors.

Service was amazing, everything was ready for me to aign upon my arrival. The room was way more than I expected. Really comfortable beds, full bath, dining area, and full kitchen with plates, pots, and pans. It was very quiet and I will definitely be staying there again!

INN BY THE HARBOR is a hidden gem that I truly enjoyed. It's conveniently located in a quiet, but we'll accommodating area. There's a winery, a pub to watch the Superbowl on Sunday. I enjoyed the hospitality of the workers at Inn by the harbor. They were professional in all aspects and communicate all the hotel had to offer.

This hotel is nice and cozy place. The best part of it is it's location. It very close to the harbor. You can rent some bikes and ride to the beach. It is also very close to Santa Barbara's downtown area. The breakfast is the same and standard nothing new (bagels, croissants, eggs etc. ) However, one major drawback I felt was that the breakfast area was very small. If a few families all of them arrive at the same time we have problem especially when it is cold outside (there is no heater in the open area). During summer this should not be an issue. But will visit again and I recommend it.

This is a huge hotel next to the beach rooms are lovely bath is amazing nice location stores convenience too free Wi-Fi free breakfast and beautiful places around safety.

Rooms are fairly basic and a bit dated. Beds could have been more comfortable. But the location is good and the staff was very friendly.

Good room, decent enough breakfast, wine and cheese in the evenings and coffee n cookies at night. Nice hospitality too. Overall, I had a good stay.

We booked here for 2 nights but stayed one as met up with friends who live here (wish we had stayed longer). The place has a lovely vibe, the staff are so helpful… nothing is too much! Traditional rooms but it is the little extra touches… lemonade and pastries to help yourself, coffee always available, cheese and wine early evening followed by milk and cookies until 9pm. Continental breakfast on a morning. Keep up the good work. Would recommend booking was really lovely. Thank you.

Hotels in Santa Barbara tend to be quite pricey so all in all our stay here was fine. We stayed for 1 night in July while on a Pacific Coast Highway trip going North to South. Checkin was pleasant and the front desk rep was helpful and efficient. They offer afternoon cheese and wine, and evening cookies, as well as continental breakfast, all of which we missed incidently but appreciated the sentiment. Parking was plentiful and free. Rooms were motel-style in layout but steps and corridors were more sturdy and therefore quieter. They were also double-glazed which helped and unlike similar places we didn't have any noise problems. Inside the room we had no complaints either. Location was good, 10 mins walk from beach and State Street (main restaurant/shop street). Short stay with no complaints, and really like Santa Barbara.

The room was nice, the hotel offers wine and cheese, then cookies and Milk for free, very nice! You can also lend bikes for free which is perfect in SB, I would recommend biking along the coast, beautiful! It was a little bit expensive, otherwise a 5 star stay. Recommended!

We spent 5 days here with our daughter. Rooms are clean and nice, the pool area and garden always in perfect conditions. The hotel offers complimentary food almost throughout the day. Staff was very helpful in providing information, accommodating request and entertaining our daughter. Definitely recommend.

Within walking distance of Stearns Wharf and State street. Frank was incredibly helpful and full of great tips. We were upgraded to a deluxe king with patio. Give this place a try!

If I could I would have given this 4.5. It is a nice friendly hotel, pleasant pool area, breakfast is OK, just a notch above the basic. Lovely touch of wine and cheese served on an evening. Very friendly staff. I thought the room was a little small compaired to other hotels we have stayed in on this trip. But overall good — no complaints.

Great location, with $5 Uber ride pretty much anywhere, else bike rentals for free. Rooms are large and comfy with soft bed and pillows. Service was top notch, Frank with his poor broken arm was very charming!

It doesn't look as nice as the photos, but they have free cookies and milk.

Great place to stay. The Staff are really helpful and friendly. We knew we were going to get breakfast included, but we also got 'Cheese and Wine', 'DVD loan', 'Cookies and milk' and 'Bike loan'. Rooms are really nice too and the whole place is kept clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend staying here. Stayed in many a hotel throughout the world. Lily the reception list is extremely helpful as are the rest of the staff. The complimentary breakfast, afternoon cheese, biscuits and wine and lemonade on tap is an absolutely fabulous touch as are the complimentary bikes. Highly recommend.

Close to the harbour, free Wi-Fi, free beach cruiser rental. It is a bit of a walk to the town centre of State St. But if the weather is good it's not a bad walk. The pool is in the centre of the complex and is small but clean with about 6-8 seats. Complimetary wine and cheese every evening and the Red we had was pretty good, nice cheese as well. Breakfast was pretty good, nothing amazing but nothing bad either.

This place is worth about $100. I booked online and paid over 200 and felt totally ripped off.
