What a great place. 5 out of 5. Price almost less than half the other hotels next to the ocean, but just as much quality if not more! great breakfast too.

We love the Brisas Del Mar great hotel. All the staff is very nice. Rooms are great. Nice bikes to check out and ride. Nice Continental breakfast, afternoon snacks & cookies & milk in the evening. Next time we come to Santa Barbara I would love to stay at the hotel Lavender that is also owned by same company. If it is anything like Brisas Del Mar it will be GREAT.

My favorite Inn. Friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere. Nice breakfast. Pool and jacuzzi. Walking distance to the beach and to State street.

This hotel was great. I wish they'd give us the option to give half stars cuz we'd go with 3.5. It didn't exceed expectations for a hotel stay and didn't disappoint either. The folks working were kind and they pretty much always had a treat of some kind during the day if you were to stop by. The bike rentals were great one day but the next day they ran out of the good bikes and gave us some they don't usually use that were pretty rusted with low-air and we weren't able to use them. Not a big deal, they tried. The noise​ was an issue. The rooms are upstairs above the carport parking and you can hear footsteps when people walk by your room on the platform, even more so when those footsteps are running children. It was a little strange that on our 3rd night, there was a large family with very energetic children placed right next to us when it seemed that there were plenty of vacant rooms. The noise reverberates through the room. There's also a weird humming that sounds a bit like a lawnmower​ or a generator that doesn't stop during the evening. Also not a deal breaker. Noise is noise at hotels. Oh, and the pool area was lovely. Although small, it offered actual tiers that you could lounge to separate yourself from others but still have easy access for a dip. We probably wouldn't stay here again when selecting a hotel for the next trip, but we did enjoy our time.

Close to the beaches, this quaint hotel offers rooms with an a apartment feel. Great for kids, with a kitchen and bath tub. Breakfast is included and the cookies and milk in the evening are a nice touch.

Very beautiful hotel! The personnel at the front desk was excellent. Mr Arron was extremely kind and helpful with bringing around our luggage and explaining the features of the hotel. The night shift receptionist knew a lot about history and gave me some tips on what to visit. We also received a free upgrade of the room which was great! Very clean room with a nice balcony to have your breakfast on. They had free breakfast, free happy hour with wine, crackers and cheese and free cookies and milk in the evening. Location was good as well. 10 minutes away from the beach.

Great customer service, amazing installations, everything super clean, pool and jacuzzi is just beautiful, great time drinking wine, cheese and crackers at the garden… coffee 24/7, close to all the fun, beach, shopping and just walking right next to tr he beach… so re elaxing… weather is perfect. Love it… high recommended. I'll definitely be back to this beautiful hotel… I'll rate 5.1 stars just… amazing…

The staff is super friendly and helpful! This place is walking distance to the beach, wharf, restaurants, local bars, gas station next door and 711. Arron is amazing!

Love love love this Inn! Best part of it really is the staff and their customer service. Rooms are pretty amazing as well. Having our own kitchen was definitely a surprise! All around we really loved this place. Only two blocks from the beach as well! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Great spacious rooms, friendly staff and champagne in the fridge! They even allow you to sign out bicycles FOC and the night snack cookies were delicious too! Only couple points to note is it's not exactly "at the beach" and the breakfast selection could have been a bit better.

My boyfriend and I were very happy with our stay at Brisas Del Mar. The hotel is very charming and the grounds well kept. Our King room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was even a complimentary bottle of sparking wine in the fridge, which was a welcome surprise. If the weather had been warmer we would have definitely made use of the relaxing pool area. The complimentary bike hire was also very convenient. As someone who predominantly chooses stays in chain hotels, I'm very glad we decided on Brisas Del Mar! Will be back.

It was a great stay. All the employees are very professional and helpful. The Gentleman at the Front desk was so helpful with LA trip. Everything was very clean.

Excellent hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. Only a couple of blocks from the harbor and West Beach. Highly recommended for couples and families.

This hotel is very close to the beach and State street St. Where there are many restauranes and clubs. Everything you can walk. The hotel was clean and the workers very friendly.

Very nice hotel right walking distance from the beach, rooms are a good size and up to date, the amenities are nice bonus with wine and cheese and continental breakfast also Juice and cookies at night. Overall service and stay were great.

Felt like a small home not a hotel room, can't believe the price for what it is. There was a small kitchen living room and everything. Stayed here during the Thomas fire, they didn't mark up the price like some other places.

When I posted my review last year, I gave this hotel two stars. They have since removed my review, so I am now giving it one star. Went here last year over Thanksgiving weekend. The pictures looked great online, but when we arrived we did not recognize it. Rooms are dated, found bugs in the room, and we had tasteless boiled eggs for breakfast. The worst part was that we wanted to upgrade our room so we could have a microwave, but the man at the front desk told us no rooms were available. We went back a few hours later in the early evening asking again, still the same answer. We finally went back at night (another man was at the front desk) and he told us there were rooms available and we were able to upgrade for free as I have an Expedia Silver membership. Why so much trouble?

Location was great and staff was super friendly. Suite was a bit dated but spacious and totally comfortable. Don't park underneath if you're in a SUV with a roof rack! Found that out the hard way.

Absolutely my favorite place hands down! Staycations there are awesome. Rooms are clean, complimentary happy hour along with wine, cheese & crackers are perfect to end your day, not to mention complimentary champagne & water in the rooms. Then cookies & milk in the evening are everyone's favorite. Not to mention complimentary breakfast in the am to get your day started, I can go on but I won't. Lastly 99.9% of the staff including Aaron & Frank are helpful & very personable, always that one pain in the neck that starts with a M and ends with elissa. Thanks Brisas we will be back soon.

Had a lovely stay here. Staff did everything to make our stay a good one. Kudos for all the freebies: sparkling wine in fridge, lemonade & cakes all day, wine & cheese in the afternoon and cookies & milk in the evening. Room was clean and spacious.

Fantastic location. Hop on the free bikes and you will be on beachside cycle lane within 5min. Room decor was nice and free champagne adds to the perk.

Super close to the beach. Plenty of space to sit out and relax. Rooms were clean and spacious. A complimentary bottle of champagne awaited us. Snacks were available in the lobby at all times, and we had access to bikes as well. Staff was very helpful and attentive, and were quite knowledgeable. Very happy with our stay!

It was fantastic. So cute, the beds were super comfy, they left us a bottle of champagne and bottles of water for free. The pool looks lovely. It's a short walk to the ocean, and they even have free bikes to loan to you. We're coming back for our anniversary.

A friend stayed here and I hung out with them. Beautiful room. Beautiful pool/spa area with comfy seating in multiple areas with different kinds of ambience. Workout room (who is using that? ). Courteous service. Parking close to rooms. This inn is near enough to the ocean to walk, not so near that room prices are an outrage. Five stars out of five, well deserved.

Great service. Nice size rooms that are well maintained. A little loud from the thin windows.

Everything was great. The hotel had a vintage feel but every detail was quality. Apart from the bathroom being a little small evening else was fantastic and of course, the bed was amazingly comfortable!

Stayed here 2 nights. I got the suite with king bed. Breakfast was provided. It's very close to the beach. 10 minutes walk to Steams Wharf.

This was the best getaway destination for my wife and I. Between the wine and cheese apon arrival to the free bike rents that we took to brunch the next morning. Iris (front desk) gave us the best recommendations on what to do In the area. Thank you Iris for such a fun trip and thank you Brisas Del Mar for Avery enjoyable vaction close to home.

I'm just walking away from a night here at the Brisas and am so greatful for the experience that I'm writing this review immediately. William, the front desk man was incredibly kind and patient with the room purchasing process. He made you feel right at home and explained everything in detail. The room was cozy, felt just like home, which is a rare feeling I've personally gotten from most places of stay. The entire staff was warm and cheerful, they had bikes ready to rent, a jacuzzi, pool, warm cookies conistently baked in the lobby and even a little library by a fire. Really everything you could ask for. This morning a new gentlemen at the desk personally greeted me and inquired about the stay and if there was anything he could do to help. Genuine care, a rare quality nowadays. To sum it up, the hotel is very cozy and nice, worth the price, but it is the staff that generates the great experience in this beautiful hotel in a beautiful city.

Spanish like building with a unique romantic touch. We stayed here for one night and we are so happy we did so. The staff was super nice and friendly. We were upgraded to a penthouse for free. Complementary bicycles, breakfast, and movie rentals are just some of the great benefits they offer. The pool and spa area is very cute as well.

Great location, loved the bikes and you can to walk to almost everything from there. Want to return soon.

Great location — close to many restaurants and the beach! We did not take advantage of the free bicycle rentals but thought it was great that they offer it. The building itself is somewhat outdated but full of charm (love the main staircase near the entrance! ) and the rooms are clean. Our room included a complimentary bottle of champagne and two bottles of water which was nice after our long drive. Ordered take out from Order Inn which is NOT associated with the hotel itself — DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Believe me. But the hotel was great and we would definitely recommend.

We love this hotel! It's clean, comfortable, friendly service and close to everything. The rooms are not modern, but they are clean and comfortable with lots of charm! Breakfast is delicious and the cookies and milk after dinner are wonderful! You also get complimentary beach bikes you can take and ride around the area. Very friendly staff and free parking! We just booked our 2nd stay here and are really looking forward to it.

I stayed for a week with my family. The site is really very nice and clean. Should appeal to anyone who is not difficult (the bathroom is a bit rusty and we didn't have refrigerators in the room). Safe and lots of things to do. The beach is beautiful.

My mother and I stayed here for 3 nights a few months back. I have to admit, upon arriving I was a little disappointed by the "old" look of the hotel. But, it was very clean and the staff was amazing. We enjoyed wine, cheese and fruit each night by the pool. We road the bikes provided by the hotel along the beach and the continental breakfast was really great with a quality assortment of fruit, fresh granola, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, danish, tea coffee etc. We ended up having a wonderful time at this hotel. What it doesn't have in impressive looks, it makes up for in extreme cleanliness, wonderful front desk service and quality amenities.

Just back from this hotel. We had a great time, the bikes were included in the price, nice breakfast, cookies at 7 wine and cheese at 4, quiet, pool was small but everything very clean. We think it was a very nice place, conveniently located, bed was huge and very comfortable. Do not understand some of the reviews. Here is how I made my decision: a crappy best western in Goleta for 2 will run you about 150 per night. That is 20 miles from beach. This room was for 4 and ran about 250 a night and included a lot of nice extras and a kitchen and bikes. Clean.

Went there on a busy night and the hotel room cost way more than it should have. The old furnishings in the room gave it a deceptively unclean look.
