Very clean and simple. It has a 1970s feel to it and I was very comfortable there. Love the 12pm check-out time. The price is a little bit more than I like to spend, but I wasn't too mad about it.

A lovely little Oasis near the top of Cathedral Hill. Definitely more of a motel than a hotel. Clean room with fast Internet, nice little bathtub, a view of the rooftops next door. Apparently has free parking, amazingly enough. Close to City Hall and the Opera/Ballet, but if you walk it's up a steep hill. The neighborhood is okay, but (like much of SF) there is fresh smashed car window on the streets. Cute little central patio with teeny pond, and a co-working space, which we didn't use or inquire about.

This was a great find. We were staying in SF for an opera and found Oasis. It is within walking distance of the War Memorial Opera House. It's also reasonably priced given this. We got a single king bed which was comfortable enough. The mattress was springs, but we didn't mind. The window in the room actually opened which was nice to cool off the room, but the window had no screen. It looks and feels a little run down but overall we'd probably stay here again. Also, they offer free parking.

Room was clean nice view of the street free parking was a plus and it was cheap.

Room was old fashioned but clean. The location is very good (near Chinatown). The staff was mostly friendly.

DO NOT GO HERE! Not only is this place overpriced, the staff stole from my friends and I when we were here! Over 500 dollars were taken from us! my friend found spots of blood on his shower curtain… The food they serve in the morning is also pretty bad quality. So yeah, avoid this place.

This place isn't going to win any awards, but it's clean and well maintained. Great affordable option if you need one!

Rooms are a bit dingy and run down but otherwise quite ok.

Got a two-bed room, even though I was alone :) the bedroom is quite big, the carpet and the curtains are nice and they don't seem old. The Wi-Fi is free and works perfectly. The hotel is on a good street, it seems quite safe to walk around there at night (but please take care to not go too far or you'll met lots of homeless people that'll want your money). 10/15 minutes away from the City Hall and the War Memorial Opera House (check for a SF Ballet School presentation, it's totally worth watching it! ), 15/20 minutes to the Market Street (the main street of the city) and you'll have some nice options for lunch/dinner around there.

If it were faster it would be much better.

Double charged. Still trying to get my money back. I booked by phone, asked for an email confirmation and they told me it wasn't possible. Got there and there was no reservation. Fortunately there were rooms available. I paid cash but they still needed a credit card so I gave them one. Two weeks later I found out they charged me on my credit card what I already paid in cash. Every time I call there is someone new answering so I have to explain all over again. I emailed them and never get a response. Still waiting for them to solve this.

Clean rooms relatively quiet. Good for the $$… oh yeah, great water pressure.

The staff seemed super chill. You'd be hard pressed to find a better price, this beat all the AirBnB places in the area at the time. I picked it due to the hotel having a parking lot which was a godsend in SF. I was really scared though reading all the reviews of people's cars being broken into. The hotel even put up signs about locking your car and taking your valuables. I think parking in their underground garage would be the best way to go. The room was loud and there didn't seem to be any AC, didn't mater in November though. You'd come here for the price not the place. It serves that end well, don't expect a lot.

The hosts are great and can really help with networking. The location and infrastructure are good.

Upon check-in found out they had no rooms. There was a flood due to plumbing problems and the elevator did not work. Reservation was transferred to another hotel and we were not told in advance.

Not nice the area is not safe and the hotel lacks a lot of cleanliness.

Very good location, very close to Haight-Ashbury and Union Square. The room is very correct, with iron, fridge (q cools) educated employees, free parking… and one of the best prices.

Bed bugs in the room! Very bad area!

Rooms are very outdated, but it's a good option if you want to stay somewhere where it's not too expensive with a good location.

Decent hotel. Unfortunately their vending machine was out of water and Gatorade. It was nice that there was a parking garage for our car, very convienent.

It was amazing from the room to how the people treated us. The only problem was lack of parking places.

Not that nicest in ive ever stayed at by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a good choice when looking to stay in San Francisco on a relative budget. It doesn't have any cockroaches, and it has free parking which is a serious luxury.

My favorite thing about my room was the intense dressing room mirror lighting around the vanity! The bed was comfortable and check in was fast and easy!

Solid location. You can be loud as fuck and blast metal. No complaints. Will back in 2 weeks for Kreator & Obituary.

The elevator permit expired 8 years ago (expired in 2008), most of the outlets are the old 2 prong not to current standards, and the amenities are equally dated. Our room came complete with a bathroom fan that doesn't work, as well as doors that feel as though they may have been broken off at some point. The room comes with a well used mattress that you question sleeping on and a very old TV that makes a high pitch whine while on. If neither of those things bother you initially, the loud road noise coming through the barely closing, single pane windows will surely keep you from getting a good nights sleep Take your business elsewhere for this price. It's not a good deal, nor is it very convenient. Your dollars go much much farther elsewhere.

Staying at the startup bootcamp at the oasis inn was a great way to network and do business while on San Fran on a budget. Bring within walking distance of downtown was great and there's plenty to do around there being centrally located at the oasis inn.

Excellent location and price, is to modernize.

Feels like this place had just been renovated — paint perfect, good bathroom, good bed, clean carpet. Great area to stay. Some really nice cafés and restaurants one street back with plenty of transport available. Would happily recommend.

It's okay the parking is first come first sever so you might have to get the parking space earlier and the people at sf isn't like downtown LA its more worst because people just walk across the streets withou looking the room is pretty nice the service is bad because there's no room service or anything like that.

The hotel is relatively central, with easy access to public transport. The hotel is a bit old and needs urgent renovation. It's clean and tidy but just old. The staff is friendly and helpful. Quite expensive, but that's Just San Francisco. The beds are fine and the cleaning staff makes every effort.

I used the hotel for 5 days in August 2015.
It also offers a certain road noise. For sensitive, I recommend Ohrensöpsel.
Wi-Fi is Moody, it was typically in the room. Not usable, already in the Hall.
Because the deduction in the shower room 218 does not work, mold formed on the ceiling.
A problem that many hotels in the United States. The sink wobbled on the wall as the screws were loose. The hotel is in the years, but otherwise clean.

I feel like the people complaining might be exaggerating. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and the staff is friendly. When I go on vacation I'm just looking for a place to sleep at the end of the night. It did the job. I would definitely come back. It was cheaper than most hotels here. It was also in a good location within walking distance of many restaurants and clubs.

So after all what is so bad about the Hotel read, I come to the following valuation: price/performance: 3☆☆☆ for those who have no high demands, it is enough. We have only slept us and the town. Equipment: 2☆☆ (Wifi only went for a Person of us 3s, air conditioning broken) Service: 3☆☆☆ was just Ok Cleanliness: 0☆ (beds were Ok, under and behind furniture was already long not more cleaned, the bathroom was the purest disaster! ).

Horrible! The minute we walked into the room they had a horrible odor. It just continued to get even worse. After pulling sheets back, we noticed hair all in the sheets. Obviously not washed. After my children were freaking out we decided to leave. We were only at hotel for 4 total hours. We went to check out and the front desk said he would refund the room and it would take 5 days to get money back. So its now 12 days later and the Manager Mary insisted no one remembers me checking out and no one said they would refund the room. AS it stands they are refusing to give my money back. I hope if anyone stays here they will not have the same experience. I know I will never stay nor recommend this place.

Who wants to just sleep and Park. Just ok.
But more there is no real hotel. Questionable cleanliness and safety.
Examples: In the underground store mattresses and waste. The cleaning lady has hung my wet laundry from the stand and wet as a mountain on the wooden table, very outdated interior etc.
even for the relatively low price you may expect more in my opinion.
Luckily only for 2 days there was.

Was having a bad nite and Anthony went above and beyond the call of duty, thanks much Anthony you made a diffrence that nite for our stay at hotel.

My car was parked in the hotel parking lot. At some point between checking Saturday and the next morning my car was broken into, window smashed and nothing of value stolen. I told the hotel and they acted as if they could care less. They have cameras but apparently have no way to review information nor do they monitor them very closely. While away reporting it to police and insurance and purchasing what I needed to cover the window, I was broken into again. This time since they had an unlocked car the opened the trunk and when through it. I will never stay at this hotel again. What good is a security parking area if the hotel does nothing to keep it safe.

The people who give this hotel a 1 star rating aren't wrong. The rooms are dated, the decor is awful, the staff doesn't seem to understand the point or value of customer service, I've had to settle for a queen when I've paid for a king and I've had to raise a stink to get a clean room. All of these things are very, very true. No, it's the nicest hotel in the city. But the price certainly reflects that. It seems a little unfair to pay $80 for a night in San Francisco and then be — shocked — when you don't pull up to the Hilton. It's a cement box with free parking in the middle of the city where you can sleep at night. It serves its purpose. If you want amenities and polite staff, stay somewhere else. If you're like me and mine, you just want somewhere to park and sleep and would rather spend your money — in — the city on events, then this place is perfect.

Very messy. Under a bed littered with empty cans of beer. Torn blankets. Did not like.

Do not stay here! Upon arrival I was met by rudest man ever. Room offered was filthy and smelled of cigarette smoke. Offered new room which was clean but dated! No vending machines. Hot tub out of order. Air con not workin. Cheap and nasty.
