Dirty linens and the room smelt like strong cleaning chemicals. I guess you get what you pay for. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They gave me a portable fan to fan out the room I stayed in.

I really liked the place. The building was old so the rooms were outdated but I like that kind of thing so it didnt really bother me. There is no elevator so you might have to climb 3 flights of stairs which got a little annoying when my girlfriend kept asking me to run down to the car to get stuff she forgot. The other people in the rooms were young good looking people, mostly women, which is always good. Everybody was very nice and quiet. We had to share a bathroom but it was clean and everything worked well so it didnt bother me at all. The only thing I didnt like was that after I left I realized I had forgot my phone so I called them to get it back and they said I trashed my room and that they wanted to charge me $150. My girlfriend was a little messy but I picked it up and know that it wasnt anything to be upset about. It just needed to be vacuumed. When I arrived they gave back the phone which was cool but continued to claim that we had trashed our room. They said $150 was an excessive amount to charge me — — which is true — — and that I should pay them whatever I feel I should pay to rectify the situation or never come back again. They kinda hinted around $75 which isn't $150 but is way to much when I didnt actually leave a mess in the first place. So I left and didnt pay anything cause it was bs. Too bad cause I really enjoyed that place and would have recommended it otherwise.

If I could give this hotel negative stars, I would. It was, with absolute certainty, the worst experience I have ever had during my travels. When you enter, there is a metal door that you have to use a key or get buzzed in. When you walk down the hall, the person at the front desk is hidden behind a plexiglass barrier. It made me feel very unsafe that all of that was required. When coming back to the hotel later that night, we were having an issue getting the key to open the metal door so we pushed the buzzer. The person who was manning the desk clicked us in and then proceeded to yell at us from behind his plexiglass barrier that we were disrupting him. I apologize for making you do your job; that was completely inconsiderate of me. I have no tolerance for rudeness and disrespect when I am spending money with a business; the yelling was completely over the top. The room itself is tiny and dirty. There is no bathroom in the room so you have to share with everyone on your floor. It was comparative to a frat house bathroom and absolutely disgusting. I refused to shower there but someone I traveled with did. He told me that they couldn't even get water to come out the shower head. Instead, he had to try to frustratingly use only the tub faucet; very comical in retrospect. They added additional charges to my card and I asked to have the manager call me to discuss; it has been 4 days and I am still waiting. Please do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE else.
