Amazing staff, the duty guy let us stay really late at night in the pool. Very nice clean hotel rooms. Looking forward for being there next year again. Thanks for the wonderful customer service.

The sheets had blood. The house keepers are not doing their job right… it was my first and last time staying there… the good thing they put me in a different room…

I absolutely loved my stay at the Folk Inn. The staff were very friendly, the food was good, and the pool was nice. The spa looked a little greenish like it needed to be serviced and when I got in it had a bit of a smell not like clorine but just stanky. All in all a good stay and I would definitely come back to this place.

Nice cozy Hotel right next to a big a$$ Doubletree. Front desk lady was very helpful and down to earth really cool at check inn. Free Breakfast the rooms are big and beds are comfy nice size tub. Room had fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Floors are carpet which is better then wood floors to me. Pool is nice as well what I really like about this hotel its really calm and quiet. Great hotel for the price and right down from the convention center.

I would like to give this place a 0 star rating. I'm surprised that this hotel is open. It's very dirty. The lobby looks like a morgue with dark decor and chandeliers from the 70s. The wallpaper in the building is falling off the walls. The rooms that we stayed in had big black slickly stains all over the floor. The tables had sticky fingerprints all over them and the toilets were not cleaned. It was disgusting.

Not super friendly or helpful at the front desk — it didn’t seem like they wanted to be there much more than I did. I tried to schedule a shuttle pickup for the following morning and was told it would be running from 8am on so “just come down and you can get a ride. ” The next morning I tried to leave at 8:45 and was told that he wouldn’t be there till 9 and I was supposed to make an appointment the day before. Good thing I always leave early for the airport. Also, my room was not stocked with any bath towels or a shower curtain, and I’m not convinced the shower was even cleaned out. My smoke detector was covered in plastic paper and didn’t appear to be working. Overall, will not stay here again, or recommend to anyone.

This hotel was nice and had a lovely service but we selpt near the laundry room so it was hot but other than that I do recommend this hotel.

The worst hotel I have ever been to. I don’t know why this hotel was considered 3 stars. The rooms was smelly and dirty. The toilet was stuck and flooded. So I called the front desk 4 times and they still didn’t care. Then, they sent people with some towels. I got this hotel from Priceline. They didn’t give the result of the problem. They also blamed for letting the water run. Ugh. I don’t recommend this hotel!

Have stayed here twice, both times in March 2018. Both rooms were spacious and clean and the room rate from hotwire was awesome. Nothing was "old" or "dirty" in either room, as I read in some other reviews. I would recommend and stay here again.

Worst hotel ever! Dirty carpet and horrible bed. Bed creaked every time even for a small movement. Nobody seemed to bother about it at the front desk when told about the situation!

It's decent. A little dirty but rooms are spacious and have an old European feeling. I'd stay again.

Reasonable older property at a low cost. Yes, it's a tired older property, in need of a renovation, but at this price point, it's not a bad deal for the room size. You get more space, in exchange for staying in an older property. Everything is about trade-off's… if you choose this hotel, you are picking older carpets, bathrooms, etc to get more space and more of a vintage feel. Some are weirded out and think a old carpet is grubby and dirty, similarly old stuff can be clean and work, just not pretty. If you want new and shiny, this isn't you place.

The aesthetic of the hotel is quite rare and reminds me of the horror movie.

Stayed there for two nights for a convention. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Large room with nice view and a fun weekend experience.

I don’t know why the hotel considers as 3 stars hotel. The blanket was so dirty even when they change it for us, they couch also so old and not clean. I don’t recommend.

We have stayed at the Folk Inn on a number of occasions, last year, but that was under different management. This time, we got into the room and there was a deep and ugly smell, but we let it go, because, you know how hotel rooms can kinda smell when you first get in them, but it dissipates after a while, we thought it would get better. But, by the next day, it hadn't improved at all, and it gave my wife a migraine with the intensity of the smell. We spoke with the front desk, and not only were they nonchalant about it, it took my wife complaining twice before they came to spray this, apparently, strong spray to "help with the smell. " He sprayed two small squirts, which took none of the smell away, so she asked to speak to the manager, especially after he was so rude to us, simply brushing us off. She spoke to the manager, and he told us "I smelled it and there was nothing wrong. " Right. I think, maybe, the reason is simply he had a massive cold… Or just cotton balls stuffed in his nose. But, again, they still seemed like they were brushing us off. We even called Expedia, the site we had booked through, and they spoke with the hotel, and still the hotel would not do anything… I have never had a worse experience in a hotel, and do not plan on ever staying there again.

I really love this hotel you pull up and there is like big statues of samurais out front and then like these weird lion dog tiger things by the door and go in and it's a pretty nice hotel in the front lobby the breakfast is pretty good too they have the standard waffle machine eggs and bacon and sausage and then they also have a couple different types of cereals bread with a toaster O Meal hot cereal cool little dining room with the TV and then there's a patio a pool in the back and then the rooms are pretty cool too always pretty clean look nice the the maids are pretty good at their job and they are pretty good about getting you what you need and the front desk is also awesome very courteous just really cool in general the whole staff is awesome the hotel is cool reasonably price it's in the middle of a few other hotels but if you want to stay here it'll be a good choice you won't regret it there's definitely a couple you would regret around here and this is not it hopefully I helped you have a nice day and enjoy.

It is a nice hotel on the outside and inside it has a pool, free breakfast but in the room at breakfast minimum can eat 2 adults And you can not take the food to the room the room had scratches on the wall the stained curtains and the carpet the curtain from the bathroom stained the dusty tables and an ugly stain on a bed of red ink but I always come in December and I always stay at a hotel called: AYRES SUITES that has nothing of stains, scratches, etc. But in if the room has microndas, refrigerator and soon Restaurant and gym but in if the Hotel AYRES SUITES is better and the Wi-fi is terrible.

Only spent one night here and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. There were people screaming in the hallways and lobby until 4 am, there was a wiring problem with the lights and they kept flickering all night, keeping me up. Plus the air conditioning would not stay off or at the desired temperature I set it at, which made the room freezing cold. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Good price for a comfortable stay. Nothing luxurious just the basics. Not the best service at the lobby, Asian owners or managers just staring you down. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Free continental breakfast, but not that good and you can't take the food to your room or you will be charged 5 dollars. Terrible and I mean terrible Wi-Fi. 2.9 out of 5 stars because of the good price and good location. Needs new carpets in the rooms and hallways, overall needs better cleaning.

Staff is friendly, but rooms smell and the lamp in my room was half broken, torn carpet etc. In no way an actual 3 star hotel. Clearly trying to make a go with a badly aging hotel on the cheap. It was inexpensive tho, so at least it wasn't overpriced too.

If I have to be away from home this is the home away frm home love everyone here the staff is amazing most polite down to earth people. Very friendly great with kids decent breakfast eggs potatoes cereal choice of juice waffles fruit coffee oatmeal I would recommend this to anyone great size rooms very clean just love this place like I said my home away gem home.

Friendly staff, cozy, inviting decor. The worst thing is prepare to do a lot of walking at some of the remote rooms.

It was really dirty and there must have been a leaking pipe inside the wall because the bathroom floor was soaking wet the entire time. There were stains on the bedding and all over the carpet. The front desk was nice which is why I gave two stars instead of one. There's probably somewhere better for you to stay if you're visiting the area.

My family and I made reservations with another Hotel located in Covina California off Garvey. Once we arrived our suite (at the other hotel) it was bug and mold infested, beds unmade from previous occupant, broken refrigerator and much more. We quickly asked for our money back and searched for another hotel. This is when we stumbled on the "FOLK INN" it was so majestic and luminous really like it was sent from God. Their rates were reasonable and affordable, rooms looked nice, Free breakfast for the family every morning, in addition too the good reviews we decided to give them a chance. Boy, we were glad we did! We so enjoyed staying at this hotel a total of 5 days. There staff were very interested in making sure our needs were met, from the time of making our reservation online, check in, too housekeeping. A special thanks to Brianna, Melvin and Lupita. Well worth it ♤

Cozy place. Except that I noticed an "undercover" female prostitute living there for at least 2 weeks. "Renting a room" with her "boyfriend" low class people can really kill the vibe. Good complimentary breakfast. Good job on those rooms house keepers. That lobby restroom is exceptionally clean! Nice hot tub and small yet private pool.

The accommodations were very nice and the outside of the hotel was very appealing as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and did their best to make us feel comfortable. The room was very spacious. Unfortunately, breakfast was underwhelming with powdered scrambled eggs, loaded potatoes, and yet no fruits at all and no yogurt or soymilk/almond milk readily available for those who are lactose-intolerant. The shampoos, soaps, conditioners, and lotions provided smelled very nice and they picked a nice brand in my opinion. I appreciated that the inn provided shower caps and make up towelette removers as well. Overall nice, but missing some elements that would make it great. Once they finish renovation and improve on breakfast options, it would make them a great competitor to the DoubleTree Hilton next door.

The actual hotel was amazing. Probably underrated. Breakfast was perfection. Why only 1 stars. I was harassed by the local police that drove through the parking lot as I was sitting in my truck having a smoke. They asked me tons of personal questions, had me hand over my license and registration, and wanted to know why I was at the motel. Their sorry excuse for this was because I didn't have a tag on my car. It's California, it's not uncommon for to see a car without a tag. I had just purchased the truck less than 24 hours prior. They told me that cars left in hotel parking lots with no tags are usually stolen and abandoned. But it was not abandoned, I was sitting there minding my own business having a smoke. At 3 in the afternoon.

My family had missed our flight home and were stranded at the airport. All the shuttles had stopped running. We called Folk inn in a desperate attempt to get a room. And they not only gave us a room but also sent out a shuttle to pick us up from the airport and once we arrived Moises helped us get a shuttle for the morning so we wouldn't miss our flight again. The other staff we bumped into was also very nice! There's ice water in the lobby and rooms are very clean and cozy. They had a microwave and mini fridge. Overall the whole experience there was amazing. The staff definitely went above and beyond to help us.

FANTASTIC customer service and very clean room!

First: the rooms. The room my family and I stayed in was great. The king bed and foldout couch were comfortable, the kitchenette was well-stocked, and my mother had nothing but good words for the A/C unit, which, along with all other appliances in the room, worked perfectly and had no hiccups or other problems. Next: the location. Folk Inn was positioned well in relation to amenities such as dining, entertainment, and, of course, the Ontario Airport for which the place is named. Nothing much to say here. Lastly, service. Everybody employed at the Folk Inn was helpful and accomodating. A conflict with the pet policy was resolved quickly and civilly in our favor. The complimentary breakfast was extensive, and all staff involved was friendly and helpful, giving each morning the extra positivity it desperately needed. Overall, every interaction was pleasant, and every service was greatly appreciated. Next time I stay in Ontario or visit any surrounding area in Los Angeles, there will be a high chance it will be here at this excellent establishment. Would definitely reccommend.

Clean, spacious rooms, quiet location, overall extremely nice. When compared to other local hotels in the same price range, there is no comparison, I will be staying at red lion hotel from now on.

A little on the older side, but very clean room. Price was reasonable. Breakfast was a little sparse on free options, but you could buy a nice breakfast for $5.

Keys didnt work for door and my door was a long walk away from the front desk (after driving a thousand miles). Front desk was dumber than a box of rocks and they over charged me and still dont know why (them or me). Nice hotel however, but the mgt. And front desk are ridiculous.

This rating is directly related to the Economy ir Allied Car Rental located in this hotel lobby. I waited over an hour for pick up from airport, then was taken to this location to find no cars available. Poor customer service, no rhyme, reason or excuse why… all the could say is we dont have a car ready except for a fr — — — kin' Minivan! Really?! I was beyond pissed off! Will NEVER use this company again and would advise you to do the same! Cross them off tour list today!
