The hotel itself is very nice, and the atmosphere is great. It's relatively affordable and the management, although slow, worked well to solve our issues. The food is always great, but could be better. This is a got to place for any social events be it for work, personal, or for church. I have come here more times than I can count simply for church alone, and I would not choose another location. The bathrooms are nice, too, just in case that is pertinent to anyone wondering!

I enjoy the evening at Misty's Lounge. Great place for entertainment. Highly recommended. They have a band every single night 7 days a week.

Stayed here for a conference a few weeks ago. Good accommodations. At check in staff was friendly and attentive. Accommodations were great. Our room had a view of the pool area. Beds were comfortable. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap was provided. There was an iron which was helpful to iron my shirts in the morning for this important meeting. TV remote was not working but staff immediately resolved the issue. I would stay here again in the future.

Staff was very accommodating. The only thing lacking is a microwave for each room. This was surprising. Even if I only use it for warming my coffee for 30 seconds, it's good to know one is in the room. The courtyard view from my room in building 1 was very nice & relaxing.

Really loved this place. It’s got a lot going on. The bed was so comfortable. They have an upscale restaurant if that’s your thing. But their ‘regular ‘ restaurant puts out some good food and so does their bar. There is also an upscale dance bar but no athletic wear and long list of can nots. I stayed away from there. The shuttle service is very good. Staff is friendly. Located not too far from Ontario airport.

The hotel is old, rooms they stink. Extremely poor service. Would not recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is well-accommodated but is already his age. I would not misunderstand a complete remodel.

Service and rooms were fine, location left a bit to be desired. Nothing to do in my down time near the hotel. As hotels go, not bad, but I would have appreciated some nearby shopping areas or attractions.

I've only been to a few hotels in my lifetime but the DoubleTree Hilton Head proven to be one of the best. The amenities are great, staff are generally prompt and helpful, and the little things like getting a cookie upon arrival and the sweet smell throughout is wonderful. Highly recommend anyone to stay at one of these hotels.

The wings are offered in the lobby bar as an appetizer but not in the restaurant. However, our very nice waitress was able to get them for us. If eating in the steakhouse, don't order the flatbread pizza. The crust was too thick. The crab cake was delicious!

I went to an event from work and it was very easy to find the hotel and the room of the event. The food served was very bueana it. There is amplo parking and very clean throughout.

Very close to the airport. They provide regular shuttle service. Their is a convenient live Arrival and Departure screen in the lobby to get the status of your flight. Food is delicious. Customers service is excellent. Conference rooms were very comfortable, a little cold so take a sweater. Parking is usually not a problem unless there is a conference, but it's free. Starbucks located at the lobby. Wifi worked well. There are restaurants within walking distance. Overall a great experience! Love attending conferences here!

My taste the room. Don't offer much more than cookies. They are very good but no longer give you biscuits for your hospitality.

It's more of a personal preference to me… The hotel's set up is more of a maze. Everything is a little disconnected. Unless you are staying in the main building where the front desk is and the restaurants. There is also a club in the hotel (if you're into that). However, being a traveler I'd much rather go to a quiet bar and have a conversation than to hear loud music and have to yell to talk. The food at the restaurants are good and so is the service.

I have attended several professional events at the a Double Tree. Every time. The staff has been very courteous, the event center has been clean as have the bathrooms and the food was spectacular for a local Hotel. This last event, we had several hundred guests and it went off flawlessly. Highly recommend for events and this hotel is amazingly higher end for a lower range price all Said and done.

Room and service was great, but very busy with convention, wedding, etc. Hard to find parking. Hilton Honors Gold member, so "free Continental breakfast', if you want hot breakfast, it will be extra charge. Hampton Inns have free hot breakfast, which is nice. Room was clean, would go again, hoping no wedding, etc, so I could enjoy the bar.

Double Tree are very nice in general but this one is a step above the average. Food was above par and service was great. The location is quite convenient in many ways. My only complaint was the layout. The property is very large and it was quite a trek to my room. That not withstanding I will book here again when in the area.

Spacious and generously appointed rooms, we are particularly fond of the large closet. Excellent amenities, coffee makers, refrigerators and blow dryers. Wouldn't mind a microwave. We've been well treated by staff arriving quickly with extra towels. Quite pleased. Also; cookies.

Location accessible to shopping and highway.

The stay started off with the shuttle bus telling me we had to wait on the airline crew before he could take me to the hotel. I told him the crew would be 15 minutes at least (it was after midnight). I decided to take a cab. When I arrived the shuttle bus pulled in next to my cab. No airline crew, just one woman. I asked that the manager call me to discuss the cab charge. He never did. This is an ok hotel. Dated and a little dirty for my taste. It just needs to be updated. The food and drinks are overrated and overpriced. My suggest you find a different place to stay. There are many more modern and well kept hotels near. The layout of the hotel is a huge maze. Not easy to get luggage in and out. The staff is less than helpful on top of all the other issues. Avoid!

This place was great! Rooms were newly redone, comfortable beds, nice bathroom (although low shower pressure), helpful staff, and personal balconies. Not to mention a nice pool and Jacuzzi, fancy garden fountains, and on site bar and night club (although we didn't go here). Hardly even noticed the airport sounds. Would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

Rooms need updated shower heads because the current ones use tons of water. I felt bad showering especially since the hotel asks you to help conserve California’s precious water by reusing your towels. The rooms generally are a bit dated and worn for a three star hotel and the associated cost. Beds are nice though. Mini fridge and microwave in rooms are handy. Interior courtyard has nice patio furniture and attractive pool area.

The facility get a five star. Customer service at the front desk get a 2 star rating. They seemed very young and uninterested in my needed accommodations. They did not greet me when I approached just kind of looked at me. The bartender for the vineyard was kind patient. She was very busy but I'll give her a 4 star. Food available in the restaurants start at a low of 10 easy and up. On sight gym was nice seemed clean until you looked above the door frames. Very dusty and covered in spider webs. Our room was also a 4 star clean and cozy.

This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for. The lobby and the bar slash restaurant are in pretty decent condition, it looks like they were renovated recently. But we had to stay in building number 2, which is a long walk from the lobby past the pool through building 1 through another parking lot and then you get to building number 2. Are rooms seemed like they are original from 1970. But with a newer TV. There are not many plugs for your electronic devices and the room still smells like it used to be used as a smoking room. Not the best quality room but it gets the job done for the price.

Had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. I had my family and guests stay there for my son's wedding and they also enjoyed their stay. The rooms and bathrooms were very roomy and clean. The pool area and the courtyard was beautiful too.

This is a nice property right next to the convention center. Stay was pleasant and comfy. Proximity to the convention center is the main reason I stayed here. Airport and shopping/restaurants very close. On site restaurants were good. Overall a good place to stay in Ontario.

I really enjoy attending events here. Whether it's a professional event/conference, wedding reception or company party, the staff is always friendly, attentive and professional. I've never had a problem here, unlike other venues in the area. And in my opinion, Hilton Honors program is the best hotel loyalty program available these days.

Nice hotel, The restaurant has amazing food, however it shares a wall with the hotel bar that has live music after 8 every night so the ambiance is ruined at that point. Our room was supposed to have a sunken jacuzzi tub but instead had a free standing tub with a bubble wand. Not a huge deal but not what was advertised.

Very nice hotel! Good for business and personal stays. Multiple choices for food, and there is even a small night club. The pool area looks quite nice. My room is spacious and the outlets have USB plugs! Unfortunately my phone is USB-C :)

If you are in town for a convention, or a vacation, this is the hotel for you. It isn't very expensive and it's location is perfect for walking a very short walk to the convention center. You can feel safe at this hotel. It is very active.

Appears to be recently renovated. Rooms and common areas look new. Friendly staff, free parking, Starbucks in the lobby. Porter's restaurant on site has great steaks and seafood. Will definitely return if in the area again.

I stayed here for work travel for about a week. I've stayed here before and have enjoyed the hotel, but this time had a few snags. The AC was leaking water on the floor in the bathroom, and they charged an early checkout fee, which was new. Still a nice hotel.

Very nice, better than the average hotel pool area. Water fountain and beautiful landscaping is so relaxing. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was remodeled nicely. We got lost getting back to our car and we ended up in a hopping disco bar, wish we had time to stay longer!

Beds were comfortable. Rooms are nicely done. The in-house service was great! However, the bar service needs a huge improvement. The bar-tenders, and the check in counter lady for the Misty lounge and Vineyard lounge were extremely rude not only to me, but another couple behind us. Drinks were not properly mixed.

I have been going to this double tree for 15 years and even got to know some of the staff. I stay here at least 12 nights a year and many more nights at other Hilton hotels! However this time was one of the worst times I have ever had at a Hilton hotel. The guy at the front desk was not the friendliest person I have ever dealt with. I have always gotten a room in the main building and even have it requested for everytime I book a room here. However because this guy said "everything was booked in the main building" and I had to get a room in the 3rd building. My room is definitely a downgrade compared to the ones I usually get. It also took a while to get my complimentary water in my room. I am very disappointed in the DoubleTree staff.

This double tree location was spacious and has many conference rooms, each equipped located within proximity to restrooms, parking, and staff. Service was exceptional here. I attended a banquet here for civil engineering professionals and the catering service as well as the food was good. There is even a vegan entree option for those interested. Also due to the hotels proximity to the airport, traveling to and from the airport was a no brainer. Traffic was obviously non existent considering g you take side streets from airport to hotel. The hotel grounds were well kept, concierge desk, overall interior is up to date and contemporary, and cozy. Air conditioning can be a little on the brisk side but it's the inland empire. Weather can be drastic here I guess. Overall, a great hotel. I had a good experience here. If you are looking to plan a banquet or other events, this is a good place to consider.

When I checked in, the attitude of the employee was not pleasant. He was annoyed by a question I made of the event to which he attended. Our keys didn't work and we had to wait more than 10 minutes for them to let us into our room. Upon arrival of the security with our new keys did not want to give us the beech that asked our licenses to drive and went to review them. We were with our suitcases, waiting outside the room for longer. In the room the bath tub and the chair were stained.

Clean, modern rooms. There was no seal under the door so you could hear noise from the hallway. Room service was good and delivered quickly. I'd stay here again if ever I'm at the Ontario airport.

The room had great amenities, coffee pot was really user friendly. Staff very friendly and gave us fresh cookies.

I went here for a corporate event. The interior of the building was very nice. However the parking was lacking and thr exterior was dingy. There were several employees waiting for us to leave our event and they really clogged up the narrow hallway and made a large traffic jam.

The hotel is very nice. Always clan and in good repair despite being an older building. Free Wi-Fi throughout the lobby and conference area. It is very conveniently located near the 10 Frewway and the Ontario airport. I've never had the opportunity to stay here, but have been to several events which always make me want to come back to stay.

No fridge and microwave in our room. A lot of problems with Wi-Fi. Everything else in the room is up to standards. Service and reception is alright to work with. Location is amazing as its right next to the convention center and several food places.

Nicely decorated and friendly, helpful staff. The negative is that they're wasteful. They have water stations with disposable plastic cups… at least compostable would be better. We had a dinner event where all the table settings had filled glasses with water and plated salads. We are in a drought so I'd encourage them to leave pitchers on the table for people to self serve or waiters could ask what people want. A lot of this seats were empty so all that salad and water was wasted. Breakfast was served for our event with kids. There was a majority of sugary items and everything was served on plastic or Styrofoam. I believe everyone should make a conscious decision to be more green to help our environment and these big businesses can make a huge difference.

Comfortable room. Very spacious. The gym needs a little updating. Overall a quality hotel. I would recommend it for a short stay. The cookies were delicious!

Attended a banquet. I asked a waitress about getting a vegetarian meal even if it was not in the plans for the evening. She was very kind and got one for me and the mushrooms raviolis were SO delicious. Servers were friendly.

Location is close to the airport so it can be kind of loud, but it's an easy drive. Rooms are a little out dated, but have a good size. Service is the same as any other Hilton hotel, which is good.

I stayed at the hotel while taking the CA bar exam. I appreciated the fact that my room was quiet. The staff were friendly and courteous. Although I hope to not have to take the test again, I would stay here if need be.

Free cookie upon check in! Rooms were very large and spacious! The bathroom had 2 sinks which was amazing for getting ready in the morning. Queen bed double room. Very nice. Stayed 3 nights, housekeeping only came once. We ran very low on items and had to call the front desk for more towels and toiletries. Shower very unstable. Constantly fluctuates from warm to hot (ow).

The location is a great hotel the decor is very professional and the office meeting rooms are even better I was there for a orientation for my company it was really nice and great location right next to the Ontario Airport great for visitors flying in and residents of the area.

Was actually there for a bridal expo. It was great. And hotel staff was noce and helpful. Event rooms were clean.

The room was clean upon entry, the only thing that stopped from a 5 star was an odd odor. Not sure if we just got used to it but it is what it is. Food was great tasting and service was quick.

Came for a conference in one of the ballrooms. A modern looking place with fantastic d8ning options. Bring a jacket, the ballrooms are super cold.

This hotel is gorgeous and the front desk associate was very helpful with getting my luggage stored while I was waiting for my friends to arrive by carfrom Texas. I arrived to the hotel quite early compared to my friends and and had had a very long trip in the process. I happened to fall asleep in the lounge area and was awoken to a barrage of unfriendly questions by a bald man with an accent. He acted quite hostile to me without ever taking my experience into the equation. I usually do not write negative reviews ANYWHERE but this man really rubbed me the wrong way. I hope that he doesn't do this to other guests, as I am I sure you would not like this to become a recurring issue. Customer experience should be PARAMOUNT at an establishment such as this, and I was less than enthused. I am so sorry I fell asleep on your wonderfully comfortably lounge couch, honestly that wasn't apart of my plan. However, I can't guarantee that a future guest won't fall asleep on his sacred couch, and I hope that he doesn't chastise them as I felt I have been. Bald man, whoever you are, please learn some perspective.

I did not like the service at all. The lady at the front desk was fairly rude when I asked her for extra towels, which of course she denied to give me. And to add, they did not do room service. Overall a bad experience and I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for friendly service, which is what every hotel should be giving.

I had a terrible experience at the DoubleTree Hotel. I normally do not leave negative reviews regardless of my experience at an establishment, but this was unforgivable. This entire review is about the male employee that was working behind the front desk in the lobby on 6/26 at around 3:30 PM. I had called in advance to book a room for my friend and I because we were attending the wedding that was being held at the hotel. When we went to check in the day we were scheduled to book in, (6/26/15) the young man (with a very unprofessional haircut) at the front desk was everything and anything but helpful. He initially told us that we had not booked in advance, then he told us that we had not booked under the wedding party rates, then gave us an off the wall price for the hotel room. He even told us that the military discount was not available to us! (My friend that booked with me is currently serving active duty in the military) None of this interaction with this specific employee was something we expected to have to deal with, especially after driving multiple hours to finally arrive at the destination. The worst part had yet to come! After ALL this, the employee decided to change our room to a room as far away as possible! He had originally gave a room right next to the lobby, and also right next to the rest of the wedding party.

Our company had a banquet this last Saturday for over 100 people. The staff was friendly, the service was fantastic, and the food was amazing (Upland Cress lunch buffet)! I received a call from the Banquet Captain on Saturday morning, concerning the weather, it was cold and looked like rain. He suggested we move our function from the outdoor tent to an indoor banquet room. It was a great call, and no extra charges. From the Sales Manager, Catering Coordinator, Reservation Department, to the Banquet Captain, all exceeded my expectations, and allowed me to focus on, and enjoy our event. Thank you all.

Enjoyed the hotel but room reservation is horrible! Called to ask a question and spent five minutes with the rep without getting an answer. Although she had my information including number she didn't even attempt to call me back when we got disconnected, probably by her. After I called back the other rep wouldn't tell me who she was to address it. Customer service horrible.

Hotel has pricey food so I didn't try it. Not as many restaurant choices around the immediate area but not a big deal since there are plenty of good restaurants within short driving distance. My room needed serious updating to the bathroom area. Overheard other guests complain about noise in their room to the front desk (they requested to be moved to highest level). The room doors need to be updated and upgraded which could deaden the noise from the corridors. I did like the heating/cooling system since it was an inboard fan coil system that didn't have a noisy compressor plus I could control the fan speed. I always run the fan continuously to drown out other guest noise if it is an option.

I never write a review, but this hotel deserve it. They did not change the linen, there were flies inside the room, they told me that the restaurant closed at 10 pm, when in fact, it closed at 9pm. The bar was full of drunk people and there were drunk people EVERYWHERE at 1 am. We were no able to sleep. All staff seem to be overworked. The Bartender at the bar was really rude. Worst hotel EVER.

Loved the bar and the service there. We drink and dance and drink. Staff is so nice. Also loved the live band.

I went there to baby sit and it was ok. Not much for a kid to do. But as an adult I was scared extremely dirty all window seals are dirty. The front lobby was nice until you got into your room. No dvd player, no fridge, and there was terrible service. I admit there cookie was good but everything else sucked. I'm disappointed. The lobby makes you expect more. Just way over priced.

I'm honestly shocked. I called to make a reservation and after telling her the price I was quoted she became very aggressive with me and escalated. I then asked to speak to her supervisor and she hung up on me. When I called the hotel itself and told them what happened. I got a half assed apology, took my reservation w/o honoring the price I was previously quoted. I told the lady on the phone that I've stayed with them before and haven't experienced this kind of service and she advised me that there reservation department is somewhere in the Philippians. I told her I understood that it wasn't a department that she could just walk into, but that they've hired this company and are therefor responsible for how I was treated on the phone. No body I spoke to seemed to want to take any responsibility for a department that although is overseas, is a company they hired to talk with their clients on a daily basis. I have to stay here for the weekend I booked b/c it's my only option, but if you can avoid it I completely recommend finding somewhere else to stay. It's not worth the price. They charge as if they are some high value hotel, but don't expect to be treated as a valued customer.
