I say “Hotel”, because it is a motel at best… They are in the midst of changing ownership and our soap still says Best Western. And that’s exactly what it is… a 2 Star, run down Best Western. The pool was out of order, the Jacuzzi was out of order, vending machines out of order, nowhere to even buy water… The rooms are old, dusty, and smell from years of cigarette smoke. The carpet is filthy and the air vents look like they have never been cleaned. The wallpaper is peeling off of the wall in spots. This is not where you want to stay.

Safe clean environment, my biggest complaint: Pool out of order! They didn't even bother telling us plus they acted as if it was no big deal. The Room were so so though nothing to bicker about. Very neat a. C system, which was pretty impressive. Front lobby hostess weren't rude but they were not nice either. I'd only stay again bc of price.

Our stay was unpleasant. Upon checking in the clerk stated that she would ONLY be putting a $50 hold/deposit on my sister's card and we could do a split payment upon checkout. My sister checked her bank balance and the clerk placed a hold for the full amount of the stay ($595.14). The room appeared to be clean and spacious, with the exception of the stained couch with a big iron print on it. They never had enough face towels. On top of that, they have BED BUGS! I noticed I had tiny red itchy bumps on my arms but I couldn't figure out why… then I saw 3 bed bugs in the bed. I took a pic of one and the bumps on my arm. The manager and another worker came to the room and with all the evidence provided, swore up and down it wasn't a bed bug, but a bug we may have brought in from outdoors… IT WAS DEFINITELY A BED BUG! They did NOTHING to rectify the situation! DO NOT STAY THERE! They are perfectly fine with having bed bugs…

I really liked the location, the room was great, very comfortable. I took the free shuttle to the mall. They set up the come back time for me and give me the drivers member. The front desk staff was very nice and showed me all the information I need to know. It was a great experience.

The bed is very soft and comfortable. There is a lot of very hot water for showers. The pool and spa looks nice but I didn't have time to use it. The breakfast has a wide variety of options, including cut up fresh fruit (melon and oranges while I was there). The staff were also friendly.

Best Western not a plus. Nice staff, but shower did not function and phones in room were out of order. Breakfast was low end of Best Western offerings with no waffles and weak watered down juice. Coffee was a step up and was only highlight. Also Wi-Fi was hi speed and functional. A little more attention to detail and this would be a much better experience.

I visited this hotel as a seminar attendee. Over all this is a nice hotel. The staff were very friendly. While the restaurant was closed during our lunch break they did allow people who brought their own lunch to use the microwave, which was great. There is a comfortable lounge at the entrance. The seminar room was nice and spacious and clean. I would attend future seminars here. What would help them improve is complimentary coffee for seminar attendees.

I have been staying at this location for about 10 years and it keeps finding new ways to disappoint. The service is horrible and it has dropped below a motel 6 for standards. The room was not only dirty, but I found broken glass and bottle caps under the beds and an employee name tag under the pull-out couch bed. I had to ask for towels because they didn't replace the ones that we used the night before and it took them 2 hours and an additional call to get them. The elevator did not work so my family had to walk up and down the three flights of stairs with bad knees. I wouldn't allow anyone I care about to stay here, let alone recommend it.

I have to say that I'm extremely impressed by the way that Christina has treated me as well as all of your staff when I stay at your hotel. The hotel has made me feel like I was at home, this comfort that you have provided means more to me than you'll ever know! The professionalism that your staff provides is what makes you a five star hotel I would and will recommend your hotel to everyone I come in contact with. Thanks again I appreciate all that you do!

Reserved for a close quick girls weekend, price was right. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Upon arrival and check in there was a note at the counter that due to renovations the jacuzzi was closed. We were looking forward to relaxing in the jacuzzi. Then on the other side of the counter was another note that due to renovations the restaurant and bar were also closed. After check in they directed us to the closest elevator after loading all of our stuff on to the luggage carrier from the car get to the elevator only to find a note that says the elevator is out of order, REALLY. The front desk had no idea when I went in to tell them, we were then directed to another elevator on the opposite end of the hotel. With all that said room was comfortable and clean. They should post that all of this is going on so when you make reservations you know ahead of time. We wouldnt of stayed here knowing the renovations were going on.

I loved staying here! The service was awesome, breakfast was good, I can't complain about anything. I had booked for one person but ended up with 3 adults and 3 kids and they upgraded my room to a king size bed with a pullout sofa and free of charge. They had complimentary soap for laundry which they had. I absolutely loved it! I definitely recommend it and would go back!

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately the restaurant and spa were closed due to renovations but for what we experienced we were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast is the best free morning breakfast we've had at any hotel, and the location is right in the middle of everything you would want or need to do while there and all for a very affordable price.

This hotel was very clean. The service at the desk was very professional with a lovely smile to go with it. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The next time I am in that area this is where I will be staying. Ps. I forgot to mention the price was right.

The room was nice. The beds we're comfortable and the room was pretty spacious. It looks like the hotel was recently renovated, but the room still had some old design quirks and the front door was hard to close. The breakfast staff were especially nice and the food was pretty good too. The Hotel seems like a pretty good budget friendly option.

I wish I could give this hotel half of a star. The hotel was bought by the new owners a few months ago and it has gone downhill quickly. Children running and playing in the lounge/bar area and no hotel staff saying anything. Wouldn't surprise me if they were the new owners kids with how no staff asked the parents to have them stop playing and going in different rooms downstairs. Ice machine was broken the 3 days I was there. My first next door neighbor had a full out party in his room. Every few minutes there was another knock on his door with new people. I could go on and on but I took pictures and am writing corporate. It's a shame how bad this hotel changed in a matter of months.

Best Westerns are generally very nice. They are clean, comfortable, offer a competitive price and an extensive free breakfast. Best Western Plus Inn and Suites Ontario, CA is one of the nicest. It exceeded the other chain I have frequently stayed in because of my award points. I am also a Best Western points member and will stick with them after this most recent experience. The staff was far better than in some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in and certainly much more professional than the other similar-in-style chain hotels. I cannot day enough about the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. The beds are so comfortable too and the breakfast is great. In this one, I thought the walls allowed a little too much noise through but it could have just been the room I was in. I’m a light sleeper and still got a good nights sleep every night.

Does not look like photos. Good neighborhood, but rooms are not the most clean and it is old. We arrived for our two night stay room was non smoking but smelled of old smoke. Looks like it has been very poorly renovated… old carpet still in closet, no weather stripping on door with large crack underneath for bugs and air to come in. Walls and base boards a mess. We found 4 long black hairs in the bedding. We immediately called office, which they brought down new sheets… but sheets they brought did not fit, called them again… they brought more sheets… but they still did not fit… finally the 3rd time they got it right. More hairs in the bathroom and dust all over as if cleaning isnt doing the best job. Would only stay here again if I had no other choice. Worth paying extra for a better hotel than this.

Excellent place… family orientated… very good breakfast… spacious and clean beds… bathrooms with showers and tubs very relaxing… 100% recommended…!

Great rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Good breakfast, but hard to get in during the week. The staff are very friendly and makes your stay feel like your staying with family. Tony in the lounge is fantastic. He goes above and beyond to get you what you want. He will make you laugh when you are down and missing family and stressed from work.

Was in Ontario visiting my sick brother diagnosed with leukemia. My family and I drove from Texas to see him. The hotel staff was amazing. Especially your Front desk supervisor. She was very sincere on wishing me a strong recovery for my brother. I had one small issue with my internet not working on our last night. She call me that morning and apologize and made it wright. She is a great part of your team. Great job of hospitality. I'm sorry I did not remember her name I believe it starts with the letter E. Hotel is in a great location and nice area. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice hot breakfast. Thank you!

We stayed here for 3 nights, only to clean the room the next day, and every night there are different rooms to complain about the room did not clean, because I came back in the evening hotel will stay in lobby for about 30 minutes, and the bed sheets in my first day of check-in suspected not because there are unknown hair, fortunately I have a single travel sleeping bag! The counter staff's attitude is very good, but the housekeeper is too bad! Can only say that the hotel's housekeeping and personnel management is a big problem!

This hotel has gone from 4 stars to 1 star for me! The staff and service used to be amazing, helpful and accommodating they are now rude and unhelpful. The property used to offer complementary beverages for happy hour — not anymore! The towels have not been replaced recently, they are rough and dingy from multiple uses and washes. The furniture and decor is outdated. Major not only cosmetic but also safety issues as well, and instead of replacing they do the bare minimum to TRY and cover up the issues and imperfections. The water that comes out of the sinks and showers has a mildew smell from some of the rooms. I have have even had a room that had water leaking from the ceiling and they simply came and wiped it up and put a towel down as a solution until they could get the maintaince representative out the next day (this is about 6 weeks ago). The staff are now nothing but liars who want to make extra money from customers. They are 90% unresponsive or do not call to follow up on issues. It's safe to say I will not be staying here again; which is very disappointing as this was a go to hotel in the area.

Overall nice hotel for the value. Thin walls. Very friendly and professional staff. Breakfast buffet needs more healthier options and more variety. Overall good stay. The shuttle service is nice to have as well. Ample parking for all. Safe area!

So far this is one of my favorite hotel when visiting the city. New Management and The major updates in the room are wonderful. The breakfast was ok but would recommend more fruit options. And it's a large seating area if the outside is not available or To Go Plates. Staff very friendly!

Less than helpful staff. I booked a double room for myself and three kids, they gave me a single and said they were completely booked. With 400+ rooms and an empty parking lot… For being recently remodeled it is fairly dirty and not kept well. Situated right next to the 10 freeway and a gas station there is an element to the locals. Lots of great neck and face tattoos… Save yourself some frustration and pick a different hotel.

This is always my choice when I have a flight out of Ontario. Rooms are amazing. Staff always goes above and beyond. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in (including my own). Breakfast is huge and hot. The bar is adequate and the pool is cool. I always get a suite if available. You won't be let down. Free shuttle to the mall and airport. Can't beat Best Western Inn & Suites Ontario on Shelby.

I really had a nice stay at this place. I were given a 2 queen suite facing the pool. Its close to the freeway and easy to find. Checkin in was fast and easy. The lobby and eating area are nice. They even have happy hour from 5-7 two drinks per guest. Be careful with breakfast most rooms are for 4 people although you can sleep up to 6 you are given a ticket for breakfast so they only give you 4. Also, once you give them the ticket you can't leave. No you can't go back to your room with food or make multiple trips like if you forgot something or you want to wake up your kids and eat with them later. They will charge you if you need tickets. I believe $12

If you are looking for a hotel that's got it all, you have come to the right place! From friendly/helpful staff, amenities galore, nice clean rooms and an actual delicious hot breakfast. Oh, and you can't beat there price with all they have to offer. I highly recommend this Best Western. It's the Bomb!

My wife is disabled and requires an ADA accessible room. This has never been a problem as I always call the hotel directly and make sure that the proper room is booked. We arrived at the hotel and found that the room was definitely not accessible. There were no bars around the toilet or the tub which is a minimal ADA requirement. I had business meetings to attend and did not feel it would be safe to leave my wife alone in the room without the proper safety installations. We went back to the front desk immediately and requested a proper room as we had booked and were refused. Next I requested that they assist us in booking a replacement room in another of their properties in the area. They refused to do this either. They did cancel our reservations and I had to book another room at the last minute on my cell phone, which was 17 miles away. As we were leaving, I overheard the agent booking our room over the phone to another party. What a heartless, uncaring bunch of a-holes. I had stayed at this hotel numerous times in previous trips. Never again. One star only because 0 id not allowed.

Beautiful place and everyone was very nice. Exceptional, courteous and considerate with our needs. The room was fantastic, breakfast was excellent although we had the same every morning for 6 days it was wonderful each day. We only made it to happy hour one time we wish we would have made it each day. The food in the restraunt is wonderful we enjoyed everything. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Wish the fire pit would have lit and the ice machine had quit working but they were apologetic and I'm sure from seeing the workers they will fix it. Either way not a deal breaker. Try let friendly and shuttle is fantastic. Thank you we will be considering Best Western hotels again. Oh I would suggest making the TV swivel out so you can see it from the sofa as well as the beds. Our long stay would have been a wee more comfortable is we could have seen the TV from the sofa. But again we made it work, we just brought the outside chairs in and sat in them.

This is a solid 3 star hotel, hence the 3 star rating. Staff was more interested in their phones than the guests. Room was reasonably clean and nice, though 2 lights were burned out and the phone didn't work. In the sense that the bed was comfortable and the room was secure, it served its purpose. If I'm staying in town again, I don't think I'd stay here again, though that is more a knock against the employees than the actual hotel. Attentiveness to the customer is severely lacking here.

Newly remodeled hotel but the photos on the website did not reflect the room that was given to us after paying $109 per night. The front desk clerk was a little rude when we notified her that neither the mini fridge nor the microwave worked, there were also issues with the bathroon draining. The maintainance man did show said that he could not repair and did not have a replacement so we had to do without. Customer service overall was a failure. The bed and bedding were very comfortable with a neutral odor, the office chair was dirty with very large white splatter. (I did not investigate any further) The kitchenette counter is about 3ft and located right outside the bathroom so that was a little disappointing. The televisions are mounted on the walls so you are able to hear the TV from the room next door. The lawn the landscaping was very beautifully maintained with an inviting pool and jacuzzi. The full breakfast buffet was well presented and abundant.

Horrible customer service didn't get the room we reserved. The remotes for the TV didn't work the ice bucket had water from melted ice from last person here. Rather go across the street to aryes.
