We loved our stay here! Quaint little room with a view of the pool and a lovely breeze. Great service and close to everything downtown. Coffee and pastries for breakfast was perfect. We will certainly stay here again!

Didn't care for the phone conversation to set up. I almost cancelled. Just a stuck up receptionist making a spa treatment more difficult than it has to be. But once I was in the quite, small but welcoming spa I melted. I spent the day by the pool. The service was casual yet cool and relaxed. It's exactly what I needed. I will be back.

Purchased a couples mud bath off of Groupon. Actually visited the hotel back in March but Camilla misbooked our appointment. Since we drove from Oakland, they offered to allow us to use the pool and hot tub if we wanted and gave us a $90 gift certificate as an apology. We stayed for the day and enjoyed it. We did not drive almost two hours to only go back home. The pools was very relaxing. We used the hot tub and the pool. It was pretty chilly in March so the pool was a bit colder. They also brought us towels to use when we called the front desk. Came back Memorial Day to use my almost expired Groupon. It was a quiet day. The mud bath was relaxing. The boyfriend and I enjoyed it. The person setting up our mud bath provided us with good service. I definitely left the mud bath feeling refreshed and relaxed. We decided to use the pool for the next couple of hours. The pool was at perfect temperature. I hate cokd pools but Mount View warms up their pool, if needed. There's also cucumber water provided outside and an outside bathroom to use. The hot tub was out of order but we weren't too disappointed since it was already warm that day. Overall, we had a really good experience with Mount View. We would go back and utilize the spa services. Fyi, they are a very clean amd quiet place. It's definitely a little bit more adult oriented but that doesn't mean families don't visit either.

Beautiful hotel with nice rooms, an awesome bar, and real keys.

Went to the spa for the couples massage. Would be great for a couple, but don't book with girl friends unless you are really close. Great staff. Lovely pool. No view. But very beautiful and relaxing.

The spa was delightful. Had a bath and a massage. The pool was great too. Heated!

Has the mud spa and couples massage, wars just wonderful, love calistoga and the busty around it. The hotel is just as beautiful.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Calistoga is a quaint town with a lot of little shops to browse. The location was perfect for our wine stops. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. We would stay here again.

Such an adorable little place! It was so charming and definitely the cutest place we saw in Calistoga. Only thing we'd recommend is maybe getting an air plug in for bathroom because mineral smell of water can be overwhelming. Johnny's attached to the place was amazing and we ate there a lot. Really good food! Perfect location for some adorable wineries, and we wished we had more town to wander cute tasting rooms in town because there were a lot.

If you appreciate a classic building with tall ceilings and lots of natural light; a welcoming, knowledgeable staff; two adjoining restaurants; real windows that open and close; dependable climate control; truly comfortable beds;then this the place to stay.

Great location in downtown Calistoga. Quaint but updated rooms and very modern spa.

The spa is really nice and the staff was wonderful. I recommend the deep tissue massage. Hope was the best.

We only spent one night here, but what a delightful little hotel. It is located in a historic building, and our room on the ground floor was small but very pretty. Eye masks and earbuds were left on the nightstand for our use which made me wonder about the noise level, but no worry, we spent a very quiet night there but it has to be said that the town was not very busy. Good location in Calistoga where you can walk to many restaurants and shops. We were told that parking was available for guests in the adjacent lot, but by the time we got there around 5pm, it was completely filled, we had to drive around a bit to find nearby parking but it worked out. There are restaurants on each side of the hotel but we did not try them, we did however have breakfast at Johnny's and it was delicious. We had booked the room through Orbitz that mistakenly claimed breakfast was included, it was not, however the front guest gave us a $20 breakfast voucher to use so it was perfect. By the way, the front desk people are exceedingly nice and make you feel very welcome. We would stay here again.

Great spa. Inexpensive and nice facilities.

The location is great along with a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a bit small but very unique, a downside being that the walls are thin and you can hear everything in adjacent rooms and the hallway. The pool area is clean and receives sunshine throughout the day. You also receive a 20 dollar breakfast voucher each day during your stay.

Nice older hotel downtown that been recently updated making modern and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff, overall great experience.

Beautiful location, inside and out of the hotel. Friendly and positive staff. Couples massage was amazing. One of the bathtub faucets was not releasing any hot water, which we were very dissatisfied about.

Clean, medium-sized rooms. Art Deco decor throughout. Great pool area with hot tub and heated pool. Conveniently located, withing walking distance of lots of restaurants and attractions.

Experienced the spa and the pool. Service was lovely, however I noticed some tourists had a few to drink and could be heard yelling from a mile away, bit obnoxious. However, I will come back again because it was such a nice place :)

I can't say enough good things about Mount View Hotel! We arrived to beautiful Calistoga and were greeted by the most friendly staff ever. Michael at the front desk handled our bags and let us know that the Artist Cottage was ready despite us being 2 hours early for check-in. When got to the room there was a VERY nice bottle of wine hand selected by the winemaker waiting for us. The room was so charming along with the private patio and jacuzzi, and we just dropped off our bags and hit the pool. What a scene! It was so relaxing and the cabanas were a real treat to get out of the sun! We had a glass of wine and our new friend Michael then helped us find a great place for dinner. He even printed out the menus for us to see before he called to make our reservation. We rented bikes after the pool and cruised around Calistoga and up to Bennett Ln. Which was absolutely breathtaking. After the bikes, we came back and walked around town and then had dinner. After a long but incredibly refreshing day, the bed was calling… and it was more comfortable than our own. I highly recommend that you stay at Mount View Hotel if you're visiting Napa Valley. You can't go wrong!

Mount View Hotel is a wonderful place to stay! Everyone at the hotel was just so friendly and accomodating, and went out of their way to make my stay truly memorable. The location in downtown Calistoga is perfect for a trip to wine country, and the pool was simply divine on a warm summer day! I look forward to staying there again soon.

Amazing, charming, boutique hotel in the heart of rustic Calistoga.

I love the Mt View hotel. I lived in Calistoga for10 years back in the day. I come back to visit my sister who lives there, and we stay at the Mt View every time. It is an absolute treat. From the front desk staff, to the wonderful rooms, pool and spa. Everything is top notch. It is the best place in Calistoga to stay. Convenient to everything. Also, try Jole if you want a real food treat. Pricey but well worth it. The food and wine pairing are not to be missed. Located within the hotel. They even have a hydration station.! Awesome place. If you want a relaxing get away, this is it. You walk away saying ahhhhhhhhh. Vicki Hiltz.
