Stayed in the spacious penthouse with beautiful views over Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands. Enjoyed the great facilities, and friendly staff. Close to the city centre, but far enough away to not be bothered by the night life. Unless you are super fit you will need a car to get up the steep hill to the apartments from Airlie Beach.

Very clean spacious apartment, king size bed was so comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. What was most spectacular was the incredible view of the Airlie Beach area from the large patio and lounge and main bedroom. The management staff are very friendly and provided advice on attractions. The rooms on the upper levels are accessed by stairs but the view is well worth it.

Amazing view, space and comfort in every room, great swimming pool. Full equipped kitchen, we couldn’t have wished for more!

5 apartments. We’ve throughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Star. The hosts are exceptional and extremely welcoming. They made us feel at home and booked us the most amazing boat trip. They’re recommendation was faultless. Beautiful spacious apartment with perfect views. A bottle of prosecco greeted us on our arrival as a gift for our honeymoon. Highly recommend, get booking!

Great play to stay while in Airlie, awesome views and nice sized apartments. Will stay here again for sure. — 1 star because if you don’t have a car and want to walk to town it’s a very steep hill.

Beautiful, very large apartments. Very nice view from the rooms. Friendly staff, clean and quiet. Great equipment. Situated on a mountain, you should either be well on foot or have a car to get to the facility.

+ we had a nice and giant apartment with sea view + garage parking + very friendly staff — a bit out of town and up on the hill — quite pricy.

Only in a semi-mountain location, the scenery first class, on the fall be sure to get a ride.

Great hosts who were friendly during our stay. The apartment is roomy and had all the facilities you would require. Being up a hill also meant amazing views of Airlie Beach and the surrounding port. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Fairly clean room, bar for under lounge chairs and dirty rag. Toilet leak on occasion. We had a fairly short high hill walk, but you do get a beautiful view.

Would give it a 4.5out if 5 stars but the previous users of the apartment bock the toilet with a massive turd which stank. The next morning when we raised this as an issue we we told it’s common and to find the plunger and clear it ourselves. We did and to poo shot Back at us which we had to then clean the bathroom and fix toilet.

The rooms were very nice and came with a spectacular view of the coast. Facilities at the apartments were fantastic and allowed us to have a great vacation. Only issue with the apartments was the internet which cut out in some areas of the apartment. When it worked it was great though!

Had a wonderful 70th birthday weekend. The kind managers surprised me a bottle of wine to celebrate. This lovely accommodation has everything you need a beautiful view and a fantastic pool. Highly recommend it but book through their site otherwise you'll be paying more.

The staff at Sea Star are amazing. The most friendliest staff members we have ever come across. The rooms are spacious and the view is to die for. We loved our stay and wish we could've stayed longer!

A good base for exploring the area. Within walking distance of town — approx 30 minutes, where you can get provisions in the supermarket, but remember you will have to carry them back!

We booked Sea Star Apartment for our anniversary a week ago because they have the best review on every website. Unfortunately there's a cyclone moving towards to this area during the period we had booked and we had to cancel this booking. We thought we might have to pay some fee or full price because we canceled it just the day before but their customer service was awesome. They totally understand the situation because of the cyclone and didn't charge us any fee. Thanks for your understanding and we will definitely come and visit next time and stay at Sea Star.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights after sailing around the Whitsunday's for 3 nights while on honey moon,

we had a 2 bedroom apartment with an amazing view of Airlie, we were amazed at the space! It would be ideal as a base for 2 weeks as it has everything you could think of, kitchen dishwasher laundry room, it was like a home from home so no need to eat out every night, The pool

Well to get an amazing view it is on a hill so walking to town is easy but we walked back once… The rest of the time we just taxied it back home every night, it's only $5 to get home and well worth it, especially with shopping! The cost
I thought for what space and standard we had it was a very good and fair price, So all in all, a 4.75/5 (the hill is the 0.25 lol)

I decided to book a "girls weekend away" to Airlie Beach with my best friend and sister and I'm so glad I chose Sea Star Apartments to stay at! Our 3 bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and had the most amazing views! We also loved the salt water infinity pool and spent many hours in or by the pool. The owner Julie was so friendly and helpful in suggesting things to do. I plan on coming back soon to do my scuba course.
