Walking distance to the Mall, restaurants, theatre. Lovely pool and pool service is pretty good. Very nice rooms and great staff. Free wi fi but pay parking. I will stay there again!

I hear nothing. Nothing. I am one of the world’s lightest sleepers and I have never had more restful sleep in my entire life (including but not limited to my very own house). The staff is awesome, food is great, and the beds are stellar. What is more remarkable is whatever material they use to make their walls… so quiet. Thank you!

My sister and her team of bridesmaids booked a suite. Very spacious and clean hotel. The room we had is very modern with a small balcony area to hang out. Location is easy to find. $25 dollar overmight parking if you're not a guest. Room service is quick, and front desk and staff are very friendly and informative.

No Hot Water. Missdf Wake up call. It doesn't matter how nice a hotel is or how great the service if I don't have hot water for my shower and I miss a wake up call and I'm late for an appointment nothing else matters. On the plus side the location is excellent you can walk to a high-end mall or further down the street there are affordable fast food places. The room was impeccably clean beautifully furnished would be perfect for a romantic getaway or a business trip. Very large flat screen TV which was perfect. What I did like was all the outlets fit tight so my electronics plugged in tight without the cord popping out and they were placed in strategic locations in the room also beautiful scenic view from the room. A strong point especially for female Travelers is a doorman greets every vehicle that arrives that way a driver service can't pull funny stuff on you. Hotel answers the phone when you call in there very pleasant front desk staff is exceptional. A nice touch was the cookies that are placed on a plate for you in the room rather than having to grab a free cookie on the desk of the registration desk where everybody gets their hands in. Nice digital controlled temperature control in the room with clean vents much appreciated.

The Hotel was beautiful. 2 of the staff members were at the double doors always. Check-in staff were amazing. I loved the room. The food was so great! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice property, interesting area of town and in the first weeks of summer there's a free movie and festival across the street every Monday. There's a nice pool and also a manmade pond and waterfall of sorts behind it. The bartenders are knowledgeable, the beds clean; what else do you need? :

The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Employees are great at what they do. Good food as well. Amazing location. Great environment both inside and outside the hotel.

This is a lovely boutique-ish hotel with lovely people and lovely rooms. The king bed I stayed in was to die for. They’ve all been recently renovated, so expect a high degree of cleanliness and polish. Outside, they have poolside cabanas and a pool bar. Minibars are in the room; be sure to get the key. Being a Starwood property, you can use all your SPG perks. You’ll also get the elevated app experience that the big brands do well. Finally, the Silver Trumpet has both a tas…ty restaurant and a lively bar scene. I have to say, I can’t find a lot of fault with this lovely hotel. It would be perfect if it was by the beach, but if you find yourself needing to stay in this part of Costa Mesa, you really can’t go wrong.

Excellent hotel! About 3 miles from John Wayne airport and walking distance from South Coast Mall, eatery, and other shopping centers. Right across from the Hotel is the Orange County Performing Arts. Our room and space, very beautiful and clean with a lake view! The staff are super friendly and delightful!

The stay was amazing! I was out there for a corporate event and the staff was amazing! The room was clean and the amenities we're awesome! Even had cookies waiting in the room when I got checked in! Thank you for the great stay!

First off when I arrived the staff is super friendly and helpful on any advice on food or what they have in the area. The valet guys always got my car quickly and helped me with my bags as well with directions. Front desk provided me quick service as well as answers to all of my questions and very patient. Bellman there were great with all of my 12 pieces of luggages and careful loading and unloading. Everyday when I walk through the lobby or in the elevator there was always a smile and hello from all the employees there. The free breakfast was decent. When I checked in there were complimentary water bottles and cookies in my room. The beds are comfortable enough for good nights rest. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Its very nice all around and my compliments on the staff that made my stay enjoyable. I got work done using there free Wi-Fi as well as taking my son to sea world which was an hour and half drive away in san diego. I worked at hotels before in Las Vegas and the team there got it together.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The mall and various stores are all within walking distance if you so choose. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms and presentation are a treat for the senses. The main complaints I personally had were that the mini fridges aren't particularly cold, the rooms don't get quite as cold as I would have liked (the thermostat says 62, but it still felt like 70) and as a gymgoer, the gym itself leaves much to be desired. It has the essentials and the basics, but no barbells. I also noticed that having visited rooms other than my own, each one has a very different decor and sense of style, but they were all a treat to experience. The Silver Trumpet restaurant has exceptional food and it is prepared and presented as well as you'd expect from a 4 star hotel restaurant. The restaurant actually leads out to a beautiful and sprawling landscape that is also adjacent to a dog park. If you enjoy morning walks or runs, then you will be delighted by the view. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the John Wayne airport (Runs every 30 minutes, but you must schedule it with the front desk). The shuttle might run from the airport as well, but I didn't need it so I can't confirm it one way or the other. Parking overnight is $25 a night and valet is $28. If you have some business in the area, this hotel won't disappoint.

Staff are super friendly. Location is perfect! Close to pretty much everything you could possibly need. Huge mall nearby, beach near by. You name it. Service is great as well. Worth every dime.

Ive stayed at this hotel 3 times and absolutely love it. The decor is beautiful (very comfortable beds too), the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and I love the happy hour specials at the restaurant bar. I wish I could live in one of these rooms! I'm sure ill be back again.

The best place to stay in town. Convenient location. Unlike a business oriented hotel, this is a 6-story architecture next to a lake and some quiet streets. Fitness center, sauna, pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, lobby area, and the lake/park. Beautifully decorated hotel and the hardwood floor in the upgraded rooms feel like home. Staff are all lively and lovely! Definitely use the valet parking when HPWC charging overnight.

We got there pretty late, so didn't get to spend too much time there, but the time we did spend there was very nice. I booked through hotel tonight and check in was still seamless and quick. Hotel was absolutely gorgeous and very clean! Room had a little balcony that had a view of the pond and fountain, which was very nice.

Beautiful hotel. Courteous staff and 24 hour room service are +'s. Negatives are that rooms don't have microwaves and that after 9 pm almost everything in the area is closed!

I like this place. But it's not for me. I like to stay up at night, and it turns out, a lot of peeps stay here on business. It's too bad all the amazing scenery and food are followed up by noise complaint phone calls. It wasn't even midnight, we'd only been a little noisy for a few moments as we reunited from splitting up earlier in the day. If they'd just waited 3 more minutes, we would have ran out of things to talk about. Hotel was great though and even security, after asking us to keep the noise down, leaned in and apologized, telling us that it's just one of those hotels and he's just doing his job. So, if you want the quiet hotel, you'll find it here. Oh, 24 hour room service was nice, and the breakfast burrito, was real good.

Gave a friend a ride from this location. This was a very nice looking hotel, the inside of the room was very nice and comfortable, and it also has a very slick looking lobby. I would definitely stay there if I need a room in the area. The person who stayed also got a very good deal compared to the normal price which was pretty cool also.

It is everything we expected in our 3 night stay while visiting family for the holidays. We wanted some thing close to the Costa Mesa mall to do last minute shopping and also to relax before visiting family. We love the rooms. They are updated with new decor, hardwood floors and clean bathroom and shower. The bathroom is also new.

I only stayed one night after a work event that was held there. It is a beautiful hotel! I loved the instrument theme through out. The people at the front desk were very friendly. Checking in and out was quick. The room was decent sized and very clean and nice. My room was on the first floor, which I would have preferred to be on a higher floor, but it wasn't that big of deal to me. Ther work event too place in the ballroom and it was nice and big. We ate at the silver trumpet for breakfast the next morning and the food was very yummy. Driving up to the hotel, I was worried I was going to pass it by but the sign was very noticeable and I could immediately see the hotel as I turned in.

Visited for a 1-night getaway. Room was very night with modern decor and large TV on a swivel. Had drinks in the bar while waiting for our room to become available. Staff was friendly. Only minus was that the A/C didn't cool as well as we expected, but we'll visit again.

The hotel is small but very nice the rooms my spacious and nice.

The location was fine. The service was good. The rooms were okay. There flooring could be updated. Needs more electrical outlets for phone chargers to fit. The View of the lake from the hotel room was good. All in all, a good stay. I would return.

I stayed in the executive sweet the night before and the night of my wedding. The hotel itself was really nice and my room waa amazing. My whole wedding party got dressed here and it was plenty of room. The hair and make up artists had plenty of room. We probably had at least 17-20 people in the room and it was very spacious. They even allowed the guest to come in and out without paying for parking for the few hours.

This hotel and the staff who work here are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond in making sure we are happy with our stay. If you're looking for a classy hotel with courteous staff then this is the place for you! Sara Cargill and Carly Stein both work in the catering department and they do phenomenal work! They genuinely care about what they do, in fact they have done an excellent job of showing us what is involved in planning our wedding at their beautiful venue! Also, Richard Ferber the Front Office Manager is super friendly and offered to help in any way we need when our guests arrive to our wedding. It's an SPG property and a very beautiful place! Thank you Sara, Carly, Richard and all the staff here!

Great modern themed hotel. We stayed overnight and the rooms were clean, the bed was VERY comfortable. The restaurants breakfast was average but I never expect much from a hotel restaurant. Pool was heated and well maintained.

Great property … great and friendly staff. Doormen, Front Desk, Housekeeping, bar and restaurant and room service all made me feel at home.
Only issue was the door to my room was very hard to open. I had to kick it to open, and never a Concierge at the Concierge Desk. Love all the purple…

Pretty convenient location with a lot of nice restaurants and shopping venues around. The room was clean and cozy. Wish they have put toothbrush and tooth paste in my room so I don't have to call and ask for them. Also a bit disappointed in the "lake" view, it's actually an artificial pond. Overall it's worth what I paid for, very generic hotel.

Really an excellent hotel. Clean rooms and friendly service, and a great restaurant. It’s been an easy stay and I’ve had no demands on the staff so I have really no reason not to give the place five stars, and would gladly give it if I had any more complex demand of the hotel which I didn’t this time. I’m sure thy would’ve excelled. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very accomadating. We were there preparing for a wedding beforehand. There was some mishaps with the food but Eduardo and his staff was amazing and took care of us right away and made everything amazing! The front desk valet and the boys up front John, Anthony especially were super helpful with our luggage. They were the nicest young gentleman your company has hired. Your decor is amazing the seats in the rooms were comfortable and Amanda at concierge was ever so helpful. We thank you all for making my friends day a special one.

Lovely hotel, great staff. The rooms were pristine and very large. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room we stayed in had both a living room and a bedroom. Both rooms had a large (~50"+) TV with many cable channels. We arrived late and didn't get a chance to visit the pool, hot tub, or workout centre, however I did visit the business centre, which was very nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were there for a wedding. The venue had both paid valet and free self-parking options so that was nice. There was unexpected rain that started when I arrived, but stopped by the time I parked and walked in. It was nice that the hotel put out compliment umbrellas in case we needed it. We were told that we needed to validate our parking, but at the end of the night they just opened up the gate arm so we could leave freely. The venue itself was very beautiful on the inside and out and the staff was friendly, helpful and informative. Overall it was a good experience.

This is a beautiful, modern hotel with artistic accents throughout that suit the surroundings well. It is within close waking distance of South Coast Rep, South Coast Plaza, and plenty of dining options (although the on-site restaurant is also very good). Parking spots are a bit tight but reasonably plentiful. There is construction next door, but the noise level was minimal and not intrusive. Rooms have hard wood floors and spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. Overall a lovely, convenient place to stay.

I was in this Amazing and quiet and very clean hotel, very attentive workers with customers and had many areas to visit. Swimming pool with jacuzzi, Gym, lake, etc…

We had a great stay here. Rooms were great! Would like to be able to adjust our AC more. Even in December we were burning up in our room.

The room was spacious and decorated very nicely with modern colorful and comfortable furniture. The bed was very good. Staff members were unfailingly nice. Perfect location for cultural activities, shopping and nice restaurants.

I stayed twice in this hotel. Location, cleanliness of rooms, comfort, all at 5 stars. But the most important thing is communication with the staff. It seems that you are visiting good friends. And they are willing to help you at any time on any matter.

Wow what an awesome hotel. And the rate we got was insane. This made our special event VERY special. Super cool decor. Rooms are awesome and location is pretty good to. Although don't expect to be able to walk to anything worth while easily.

The hotel is quaint and tranquil. I loved the décor and friendly staff. The rooms are clean, modern and everything you need. The shower had great water pressure as well as the beds were very comfortable. Only hummer was the ice machine didn't work bit room service fixed that, quick and free. The spa could be a tad bigger as it was crowded when we got there.

Location is at a central location for our travels as we stay in California. The rooms are good only concern is that the floors are all hardwood and the sound from neighboring rooms carries over. Front desk employees have been wonderful and very accommodating. Had an issue with a dirty Keurig machine and they replaced it the next day as well as free coffee from the shop the day of.

Loooved it. Especially the fruit water that was provided. Beds were very nice. Service was great.

Josh Getchum at the front desk is the rudest, most condecending person we have ever encountered ever in all our travels. The magnetic strip on our card was deprogramed on our trip, mind you it also has a chip, he basically laughed in our face and turned us away, even though our room was PAID leaving us up a river with no paddle so to speak Please do yourself a favor and pick a place the actually CARES about its guests!

Our first time in California and we happen to find this beautiful hotel. The staff are very professional and very friendly. The rooms are extremely clean, brand new, modern and fresh. The price is very reasonable compare to other places. We will be back to Ave of the Arts hotel for our next trip and many more. Very satisfied and happy with our experience.

Great hotel, beautiful and clean. Large room. Comfortable beds. My only complaint was no tea with three Keurig coffee maker. Had coffee and sweet rolls out by the elevator in the morning. Nice touch. (But no tea there either). That touch might have been because we were on the spg floor — — not sure if it was on every floor. Small pool but large enough and a whirlpool spa. Beautiful grounds with walkway around large pounds with ducks. $ 22. A Night for self parking which I hate paying. Wish they would just charge more for the room and make parking free. Doesn't make sense to charge guests to park when they are staying at your hotel. But most hotels soon it. And they wouldn't let me pay parking with SPG points as some SPG hotels will. But other than the parking and no tea, I would stay there again. (And being my own tea).

Trendy hotel for singles and couples. Lobby and hotel is remodeled. Rooms are waiting remodel but still very nice as it is. From the valet guys to the door guys. They're all great and very friendly. Don't miss the bar and restaurant.

Nice hotel, usually quiet. All of the staff are extremely helpful, and contribute to a very relaxed atmosphere. This time around I'm only giving 3 stars because 1) the remodeled room smelled strongly of fresh paint, and 2) there was no longer an in-room fridge.

Great place! I almost stayed elsewhere but I'm glad I picked this. It's a very pretty hotel and the amenities are top notch. The hotel restaurant is a bit crazy priced though, $12 for 4 Bacon Wrapped dates is a bit nuts. I love the bathrobes.

The hotel has a great modern look. The beds lean on the harder side which is better for those with back issues, but I personally prefer softer beds. The service is great and I felt like a vip the whole time I was there.

Was impressed when I walked in. Hotel lobby is really nice and has a fireplace. Loved the decor. Was underwhelmed, however, when I entered my junior suite on the 6th floor. The bath tub was way too low and room is very dated. I felt like I've moved from a 4-star hotel to a 3-star hotel the second I walked into my room. I've heard that the hotel is doing some updating to their rooms, which is a good thing. Other than that, staff was friendly and helpful. I'll come stay here again after the updating is done. Nice quiet bar downstairs.

Staying on the 4th floor, the room is well equiped with what I need minus a microwave. Its quiet and serves it's purpose. I would have liked to see a microwave or washer/dryer available. The hotel outsources its laundry service. It's breakfast is in form of the silver trumpet restaurant.

The rooms are clean and people friendly. Parking went up to $22 a night, TV has no movie channels and no way to rent any movies. Gift shop closes early so had to leave to purchase items, front desk did not explain how to use key card, how to use TV, and that there was a tablet to use so people having issues getting in and out of parking, TV was not easy to use as Guide had no way to enter the channel so all manual entering of 4 digit numbers. Frustrating. Coffee in room is great. Hotel looks good.

I totally think that paying to park is RIDICULOUS! $22 bucks a night I'm here for 5 nights that's going to cost more than the car rental. I won't be staying again its ok but the nickle and dimming is a real deal breaker.

Awesome! I was so worried about my brand new 2-Man Kayak being left strapped to the top of my car, while park in their garage; they offered to store it inside. I didn't even have to ask, they read the concern on my face. Anticipation of guests' needs, indeed they did.

Best stay I have ever had! From the front desk to the bartenders in the Silver Trumpet everyone was awesome. Can't wait to go back.

A fantastic value. Beautiful modern rooms with hardwood floors, beautiful lobby and restaurant, good soaps, and pleasant staff. The only thing I would change is the cable TV is not high definition.

Stayed there for 3 nights during a recent family trip to Cali. Not sure if it was a promotion (or if my wife was wrong) but according to her the in-room wireless Wi-Fi was free which is a very nice perk these days. The room itself looks a bit dated, but the bathroom and the rest of the hotel has a modern look. I like the hardwood floors. Less gross than a carpeted floor that is holding God knows what in there (liquids? bugs? ). For cleanliness I'll take hardwood floors any day. The location itself is very cool. It feels very quiet and off the major roads. You are right across from the beautiful Segerstrom Center for Arts. I went with the kids and walked across that campus, and took overhighway walking bridge to get to the local mall. No car needed! 5 minute walk. I would stay there again if I was in Costa Mesa.
