Worst hotel ever. No service. We booked through booking. Con but they refused to give us room for the confirmed price. The only thing they suggest is to charge us more. Never seen such a bad manager as Miguel Sausedo, no communication culture, no customer service! They say that it is not their problem!

Been many times. Quiet, large rooms and plenty of parking.

Nice hotel to spend a few days. Well rounded for the business traveler.

Great workspace in the lobby! Wish Starbucks had longer hours. The bedding was very comfortable. Will look to stay here again in the future.

It is a very nice hotel and centrally located. Very pleasant staff. Nice weight room and beautiful pool. Rooms are nice as well. It's one of the better Hilton's I have stayed at.

Better than most but my no mean elite or upscale. On our visit 2 of the 4 elevators were not working and the parking lot was full. The decor is good. The rooms decent. The AC was barely acceptable. That said we would stay here again at the right price point.

One of the worst hotel experience I have ever had. In the last several years I have stayed at various Hilton Hotels and every time I have there has been a problem. The rate do not make up for the problems. And the staff seemed to be untrained at night. I am most recent stay the plumbing in the bathroom kept r Running, the refrigerator What's not running properly and so my food spoiled this is a common occurrence in all of my Hilton hotel stays and a bedding was damp which I can only assume came from the staff putting it on before it was fully dry as it was damp all over. At least I knew it was clean hahaha. We were switched 3 times before we finally got a room that was acceptable. We also had in our reservation that we needed a crib and were told one was not available. It took my baby falling out of bed and getting injured before they could come up with 1

Called hotel to make a reservation day before an event we were attending at their hotel. Asked about possibility of checking in before the 4:00 pm check in-time so we can get ready. Told to call the next morning and ask front desk if there are rooms available. Since hotel was not completely booked, we should not have a problem. Called morning of arrival and was told that there were rooms available and we would be able to check in before 4:00 pm but had to pay an extra 50.00. …Not what we were told day before. We decided to wait. Hotel website says it is pet friendly. I called hotel again while on our way to find out pet policy. Was told that there is a 100.00 non refundable deposit. While we were checking in we told check in clerk that we had 1 service dog and 2 other dogs under 13 lbs. Check in clerk said since we only staying overnight, he would not charge us the pet deposit. When we checked out the next morning before the 11:00 am check out time, they added an additional 150.00 charge to our bill. Asked about extra charges and was told that it was for early checking and pet deposit. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! First of all we didn’t check in early and was told day before we didn’t have to pay Pet Deposit! Not coming back nor will recommend anyone to stay. Obviously they don’t stand behind what we are told at check in and hit you with extra fees when you check out. Don’t want family and friends to be treated this way. Not professional.

The drive to get hear was terrible. It's a nice hotel and was here for a conference and they took care of us. Great service and staff were friendly. Conference rooms were set up just right.

We checked in and went straight to our room. The sheets were dirty, there was food all over the floor, and items from the last guest in the refrigerator. We went to the check in desk and informed them and requested the room to be refreshed and only the bed was re-made. The morning of check out we expressed our concerns and and the lady checking us out didn’t acknowledge anything we said.

We got the chance of a life time when it came to staying at the Hilton. The food was great and the room was nice. However, we were given a room at the end of the hall with a blown light bulb (away from nearly everything) next to a closet. Our beautiful view of the streets beneath us were also blocked by steam or smoke coming from the kitchen from pipes next to the window. But this wasn't the problem. I understand they may have not had any rooms left. The problem was the people at the Hilton. My sister called room service to order some food and spoke with a rude woman. I'll have you know my sister is only 12. Who is rude to an innocent 12 year old only calling to order food? If you don't like your job why are you working here? Even the guests staying at the Hilton were rude. A woman purposely tried closing the elevator doors, quickly pressing the button, before my mother could get to it. The only person I could say was well mannered was the guy who dropped off our food. Seeing that we were already uncomfortable, because we've never been to such a fancy hotel before, I was hoping to have at least a nice, memorable experience.

I had to give the hotel 5 stars, but honestly I wanted to give it 6 stars! Thanks entire staff was always going above and beyond with their friendly and helpful personalities it made me feel welcome (even more welcome than my own home). The cleanliness of the hotel was superb, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I honestly didn't want to step back into reality. Thank you for the amazing experience and if Hilton is reading this, make sure you share this with your team. Oh, and here is the sixth star ⭐

Staff was great an the hotel was awesome BUT when you have to wait about 10-15 min just to pay for something from the snack bar because there is no one in the snack bar so you have to wait in line with the people that are checking in an checking out an that’s about 5-8 min each person besides that the hotel an staff are awesome.

My room was very big. The beds were super comfy. The fitness room was clean and had a good amount of equipment and space. The location was convenient to shopping and the airport. All in all a very nice hotel.

Clean, though a bit dated. Bar and restaurant are very nice. Love the exposed indoor elevators. Conference space could use some love. Covered self parking is a plus.

Went for a recent convention. Very no frills place, the design feeling late 80's. Geometric designs with some hints at nature. I'm not seeing any remodel work done last 2014 but that could be rooms. I visited several conference rooms. I did like the central staircase that switchbacks to different levels. This made it easier to see conference setups and areas. One conference room was quite warm so we had to leave it open which was difficult for privacy. I noticed in the main large conference hall setup for food service, the cooling became an issue also. I would not return knowing those issues were not fixed. The hotel proper does not have that many floors and yet it does boast the same or similar half circular elevators that the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles is famous for. We did eat in the lobby restaurant. Food was not bad even if a premium was charged for items at the hotel.

Great mountains veiw. Affordable group rates and availability. No stairs to rooms only a couple of elevators in one place up to the rooms. Not very cleanly, but room service is good. The Starbucks inside is expensive and not good. They don't take the app for the Starbucks. The food for the breakfast buffet isn't good and very expensive. Burnt bacon and scorched eggs. Okay over all not the best.

The Guero and his wife Rosario and a brother are dedicated to annoy the jente and look for public cameras. ( ( (care) ) ) They can look at them on their phone. Echenle the police.

I stayed here during a conference. It is by no means a luxury hotel but it is very nice. The food at the bistro was delicious and it was close to shopping and other amenities. The rooms were clean and the staff was fantastic and accommodating. There is a shuttle that takes you to the South Coast Plaza. The room was pleasant and the bed was surprisingly nice. For the level of hotel it was a four star all the way.

We went to the Hilton for a dance competition. My wife doing a dance of ballroom. We don't go to bed here but just spent the day inside the hotel. Employees we respect and helped us with the things for which we had questions. Thank you for a site event great!

Awesome competition! I came home with 19 first places, 6 second places, no thirds. In the championship rounds a fourth place, I was the only gentleman against all ladies. In the Gentleman’s Championship a second overall! For the International Latin on Saturday 10 heats all first places, three championship rounds all first places! A thank you to Krystina and Katya, I couldn’t do it without you!

Hotel is fantastic. Rooms were clean and the beds we extremely comfortable. Great pool and fitness center. They also have a great bar in the lobby. It was the perfect place for my friends and I to grab a drink and unwind after a long day. Looking forward to the next time we stay there.

It is standard Hilton quality, so you get a nice room at a reasonable price. I attended a large conference here, so the four stars comes from the nature of the layout with two fairly dispersed conference areas. As a normal hotel, it is standard Hilton, but the location gives easy access to several major freeways, Orange County airport, and a wide range of shops and restaurants. The famous Anti Mall is an easy walk for great coffee and dining.

Put my friends up here when they came to visit. It was good, much nicer than the Hilton by the John Wayne airport. They have a nice glass elevator that over looks the lobby and was nice. Had no complaints from my guests that were staying here other than parking sucked.

One of the worst check in experiences EVER! I got to the hotel at 8pm to check in and as I was doing so, I was told that there they are currently setting up my room and that I can wait in the Lounge for 15 minutes, they will call me when they are done. So 15 minutes go by, then 30, then 45. An hour passes and still no phone call. I go back to the front desk only to see that everyone arriving and that had arrived after me has been able to check into their rooms because no one else was being sent to the Lounge. I go up to the front desk to let them know what happened at which point the person who had taken care of me an hour before acts like he had no clue in the world what happen. By the looks of his actions, he had no intentions of letting me know if any room was ready. If I patiently waited, I don't think I would've checked in by midnight. This is by far the worst hotel to check in EVER!

Hotel is always clean and comfortable. Beds are large and cosy. Bathroom tubs can be a little hard to manage (remember to pull before you twist haha), each room boasts a beautiful balcony to catch sight of the marvellous Californian sunsets and sunrises. Reception staff are very friendly and professional and always ensure your stay is a success. Business centre and bar downstairs open evening long. Hotel is a walkaway from South Coast Plaza and nearby a highway exit. Hotel offers shuttles to the mall and the nearby John Wayne airport. One of the best Hilton's I've stayed in to this day.

Great hotel with friendly staff and great, clean rooms like a Hilton is supposed to have. I really love d the heated pool and especially the hot tub! We went for a swim on nov 4th and 64 deg outside and the pool was a joy. Location is great and parking is provided. To bad it’s 25US.

This hotel is consistently fantastic. It is in a great location in Orange county and near John Wayne airport. The rooms are clean, parking a car is easy, and the service has been great.

Overall, great hotel especially to hold an event! Designed well, beautiful grounds, very clean and spacious not to mention the friendly staff. Great place to hold an event! The terrace and Starbucks inside were my favorites! The only downside is getting from the parking garage into the hotel. No signage or arrows ect. Perhaps the garage is under construction.

Nice hotel with great staff. Rooms were good size with comfortable beds. Restaurants on site are limited to 1 but there are many restaurants within walking distance. I will stay here again in the future.

Felt it was best in area, weekend stay was very nice, shuttle service from John Wayne airport was smooth, immaculate rooms, breakfast was not impressive though. Really enjoyed staying here, such nice property!

The room was clean, free water bottles at check-in were a godsend. The hotel checked on me to make sure the room was to my liking. It was a good overnight stay, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great hotel with really friendly staff, rooms are clean and spacious and some have a small balcony. Starbucks in the building is an added bonus. Parking will set you back 25$ a day. Rates are reasonable and the location is spot on with easy highway access and a mall within walking distance as well as many restaurants.

I enjoy being here it's pet friendly kid friendly. Besides maids I like the rest of the hotel staff especially Rudy & Diana front desk mngr & receptionist. Without frustration they automatically know my family's needs as well as our names. Their smiles are free. Note there's no microwaves available but rooms are huge comfortable beds black out curtains rooms are almost sound proof for loud family's as well. If you have any issues thee staff will be attentive to fix it and make ones stay more pleasant till departure. Free breakfast and small evening appatizers soft drinks followed by desert.

Very beautiful hotel. Not difficult to find. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet. My only critique would be that it didn't have any USB ports in the room, especially near the bed.

Great staff, got us checked in at noon, pending availability of course. Very nice valet, Dean at the bar is great. So far so good!

The Hilton of OC is located very conveniently near the South Coast Plaza Metro area and the mall and financial district. The Hilton is very finely decorated and has several options for dining and also for convention facilities. The rooms are nicely furnished and the service is great. Cannot go wrong with a stay at this nice hotel.

For how much they charge for everything the hotel should be much cleaner and updated. $100 non refundable pet fee and $25 a day for parking is ridiculous. Breakfast is not included either. The TV does not work right. No safe (yet family in the room next door have one). Nothing special here. Could get more for your money staying at the Courtyard down the road.

We enjoy staying at this hotel and holding our events here. They are always on top of things, the rooms are great. The hotel is always immaculate. Their staff is very friendly, especially Matt at the front desk. We will return again!

This Hilton is by far one of the very best in which I've ever stayed. The room was perfect, service was great and the food at the restaurant and the lounge was delicious. We had a little issue with our room not being ready by the time we arrived at the hotel, even though we had done an early check in using the mobile app. They gave us a $50 certificate to the restaurant while we waited for the room to be ready. I'm grateful for the gesture for we were able to have a fabulous dinner We stayed in one of the Executive rooms in the seventh floor. The view was spectacular. We really enjoyed looking out at the lush greenness of OC.

I often stay in Hilton Properties and have always had a wonderful experience, this time was NOT one of them!
One staff member at front desk was exceptional however it's wasn't enough to make up for the poor quality stay here. I was compensated a voucher for dinner one night but the TV was out two nights, the power went out for more than 1/2 hour for maintenance without notice in the a. M. The water constantly ran in my toilet, escalator down for repair, espresso machine out of service, hallways never vacuumed and are filthy on my floor… the rate is 179.00 per night and although I partially paid with points it certainty wasn't worth it.
I am satisfied with how the company assisted me with this matter and therfore changing my opinion and give them 4 stars.

We stayed for a wedding that held its reception in the Pacific Ballroom. I would rate this experience as 5 stars and one of the best experiences we've had. Dean, the bartender in the lobby, was very personable and hospitable, and receives our highest praises. Thanks, Hilton!

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The hotel is really eclectic and quirky, in a great location. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Costa Mesa to spend time in the city.

This place really needs a renovation for the rooms. Our 5th floor room looks and feels very old. As a Diamond member I am surprised this is a Hilton branded hotel. Shower/tub is old. Doors are old. Big gap under our room door. Old switches and old lighting. Not what I expect in an actual Hilton, feels more like an old Marriott. I would hope that a major renovation is scheduled. Oh, and please turn down the elevator lobby music on the 5th floor, we can hear it in room 560 during the night! Yikes!

Room and property were upscale and clean. Minor issues with room (refrigerator didn't work and one of the sink drains was shut and could not be opened) but otherwise clean and comfortable.

Great hotel for the area. Close to everything. Hotel has all the amenities you can ask for, including conference space. Rooms are a bit dated, but still comfortable. Bar and restaurant are adequate.

I attended a conference at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa hotel. All of the hotel staff were very professional and polite. The room accommodations were excellent. The room was very clean, large and nicely decorated. I would definitely patron this hotel again.

My sister lives in Costa Mesa California This hotel is beautiful nice Price's and 100$ is not that bad it's good.

My wife and I did not have the best experience here. Upon arriving we saw that our bed was dirty, not only did it have stains all over it but there was crumbs all over and inside the bed. Every morning when we would wake up we would find these bugs with long antenna's littered throughout our bathroom. We thought this was just an abnormality but the next day when we wake up we find more bugs! The bed sheets did not fit the bed. We told our friends who were staying there as well that we needed to let the front desk know because they were a HILTON and Hilton would not allow something like this to happen and they would do everything they could to help. So I went to the front desk to explain to them the situation and the lady who seemed rather disinterested said, "Oh, no. Thanks for letting me know… " Not what we expected when we were told of Hilton's customer service excellence, nothing more than words.

A beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Whats great aboit this place is thw ability to hold large confrences and events. The only down side is you have to pay for parking when everything around it has free parking.

I'm in the middle of my stay and thus far I'm not impressed. The room had a shower cap over the smoke detector and there was glitter on the floorboards. The front desk seems accommodating, but the services available for diamond members are lacking when compared to the other Hilton properties nearby. This hotel doesn't seem made for families.

The hotel shower in the room sucks big time. The shower faucet is loose and hard to figure out. They all need to be replaced in all the rooms. EVERY MORNING I HAVE HAD TO CALL THE FRONT DESK BECAUSE it takes 10-15 minutes before I get any hot water. I am in California… where there is a major water shortage… and the front desk guy tells me to leave the shower running for 10-15 minutes until it gets hot… The water gets hot enough for me to take a shower and then the water fluctuates between burning to hot throughout the shower time with no consistency. I have complained 4 times to the front desk and still no reply and no resolution… They did offer to move me tonight (5th night) but that would be an inconvenience to me to move all my stuff and so I declined. I am also pissed off because this hotel charges $199+ a night. I have had better experiences in hotels at half the price.
