I’m so glad we stumbled across this pet friendly hotel! The front desk ladies were very friendly and check in was quick. Our room is spacious and very clean. Love all the little aminities — fridge, DVD player, coffee and more! There are plenty of trees in the courtyard and sitting on the patio facing the green grasses areas are quite soothing. We are already planning to stay again in the next few weeks to escape the Valley heat waves this summer!

Stayed here for a romantic overnight getaway. We were given room 120. The room was really large and looked newly remodeled. Gorgeous tile floor, great fireplace and a jacuzzi bath that was incredibly relaxing! On the desk, the staff leaves an envelope letting you know who was responsibe for cleaning the room for your stay. We had Jen… she is AMAZING! The room was spectacularly clean and smelled so good! We will most definitely be back!

I absolutely LOVE this place. We stay here every time we come to Payson for an overnight stay. The girls at the front desk are so helpful & friendly — and the rooms are clean! We've stayed here when it's snowing and in the summer when we're here to hike and explore the local trails.

Great place to relax after a hard week of work! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure.

We loved our one night stay here. The hotel is older but very clean. Our Deluxe King room had a large rock fireplace which was neat. We would love to enjoy that on a cool night! Each room has a little porch with two rustic chairs and a table. It was the perfect place to sit relax after a long drive.

Really great spot! The luxury king rooms are definitely worth it. Super cozy and romantic with a fireplace and a spa tub that actually fits grown ups (I'm 6'2" and was comfortable). Also in a fantastic location within walking distance of great restaurant and grocery store.

Room was great. Very nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Check in person not very friendly. Very abrupt to the point of being rude. You sure didn't want to ask her a question. She didn't seem up to date on surrounding area.

I love this place. The large king size bed and jacuzzi tub. You can open the back door and let the breeze flow through and maybe, just maybe see some wildlife pass by. I overall enjoy the stay here but the staff aren't as friendly as I would like them to be.

Let me start by saying their is one good word to describe… "Dated" … The carpets are very tiered, Hot tub in room worn out, old, did not work very well. The fire place was nice. The Television was very, very small, from the bed not clear to see. Im sorry to say I'm glad it was only a one night stay. Also unfortunately the gal at the front desk, could not have been any less helpful. To me this would be a "only if you have to place".

Always a great place to stay! Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is always a pleasure to work with.

Rooms and grounds are very nice. Quiet and cozy but close enough to town if you need anything.

We love Majestic Mountain Inn! What a beautiful setting with lots of outdoor spaces to walk, relax, reflect. We had a very quiet sleep. Pet friendly. We will return! Next door to the Fargo Steakhouse, which is a terrific spot: rustic, warm, with a super menu and chef. I have two suggestions. 1) Better pillows. The ones they have are small, square, and overfilled. Good for sitting up in bed, but too stuffed to rest your head comfortably. I had to use a folded bath towel… not the best. 2) Do a deep clean of the carpet edges. The walkspaces were well vacuumed, but all around the walls, it was ugly. Bathroom was just fine. Other than those two issues, we were very happy at Majestic Mountain Inn.

I attended a church retreat at this location. Iwas very disappointed with the accommodations. The place was in very much disrepair and not kept clean. The staff was unknowledgeable and not particularly helpful.

Around the holidays I always stay here when I go to see my family. This year my wife made the reservations the day before we went out there. We were going to be arriving 8 a. M. The hotel was not going to allow us to check in until 3 p. M. With a baby and a dog I wasn't happy about that so I tried to call and cancel my reservation. They never told me there was a 48-hour policy so they were going to have to charge me a full amount for one night. So even though staying there was not going to work for us I had to pay over hundred dollars for room I was not going to be able to stay in. Usually cancellation fees are about 50 but nope I had to pay for the room. Excellent customer service I recommend never giving your credit card info to this hotel. Not only that the girls that work at the front desk probably only making $7 to $8 an hour were little snots about me being upset about making me pay one night for something I wasn't even able to check into yet.

After being skeptical of going here because of all of the bad reviews saying they had bed bug infestation. We decided to try it anyway. Right as we got there we checked the bed for bed bugs and we lifted the mattress to find a used tissue and trash under the mattress so it clearly made me wonder if they even cleaned the room or changed the sheets. The bed was uncomfortable which resulted in no sleep. Breakfast was cold and and stale. And we weren’t able to even shower before leaving because there was no hot water in the shower. Besides all the bad we tried to make the best out of it but I don’t think we’ll ever be back.

Nice and quiet. Beautiful room with fireplace and hot tub. The television could be a little larger for the size of the room. The hot breakfast was very nice.

I am very disappointed with this hotel, we though at first it was fine, but when we noticed one of our member s getting bites, and finding bed bugs in our bed. They said we would get our money back for it, but almost 4 weeks later, we have yet to get our money back. Definitely never coming back.

This Place Is AMAZING! Especially If You Get Rooms On The Bottom You Get A Forest-ey/Camping Kind Of Feel. There's Trees, And Outside Patio Chairs, Pretty Decent Breakfast, And Every One Was Nice. (Pretty Cheap For How Nice It Is. ) (No Jaccuzie But A Huge Pool With Towels. ) And The Beds Are Hard. Squirrels And Ravens Often Visit. Please More Cleanliness In Bathroom.

Service and cleanness is excellent. The bed is a little hard. Beautiful area, and a very nice place to stay.

I booked their conference and meeting room for my baby shower via phone call over a month in advance to the event. I was told there was nothing else booked for that day and I did not need to put down a deposit, just pay the day of … $5 per person. I then called again and asked if I could come in person about 2 weeks prior to the event to take some measurements of tables for the party. They said no problem at all. I showed up, identified myself and was given the key. The day before my baby shower, which I had been planning for over a month, had sent out invites with the exact time, date and location, my Mother-In-Law called the front desk and asked if she could come early to set up and they informed her they had no idea what she was talking about and they had no reservation for us … and to top it all off, the room was already promised to another party at the exact same time my party was supposed to be happening. They said they had no idea who I was and did not have my information saved anywhere. To make up for it, they said they would comp the conference room for our party, but it would need to be at 2:00pm (3 hours later than expected) At this point, we had no other choice and I then had to call all of my guests less than 24 Hours before the party started and change the time. It was very inconvenient and some of my guests were unable to attend due to the time change.

Horrible. The rooms are nice and clean, but management is awful. We made reservations thru the hotel and we were quotated a price that included tax. When we checked out they tried to add a other 100. To our bill. I fought it, and the next thing I knew, there was another room added on. Now I'm paying for 2 rooms? The part that really got me is when I asked to talk to the manager, the lady said he wasn't there when in fact he was hiding around the corner letting her try to deal with me. After calling every day for over a week, it was finally fixed. If you want a headache and like frustration, this is the place for you. Perhaps with new management it would be a great place to stay.

We are return guests. Won't stay anywhere else. The staff are wonderful & go out of their way to make our stay out of this world! The accommodations have always been superior.

It was in a very convenient location in Payson and the people who worked there were very friendly. Nice little porch area outside the room but the room itself was very smelly. We asked about it and were told that some of the rooms smelled but that it wasn't harmful, it still made the stay less than awesome.

A solid small town hotel. Location is convenient, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, free breakfast is simple but tasty. I like supporting local businesses so this will always be my number one choice when coming into Payson.

Absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a hotel. I have stayed in a lot of places and even dealt with a lot of businesses and never experienced such RUDE customer service. I called to make a reservation for my husband, myself & small dog for 2 nights. The lady said the 2nd floor rooms are full however those are the only ones that are pet friendly. She said it regularly would be $10 per night for a dog but since we have to stay on the 1st floor but they would make it free since we are paying $10 per night more for a deluxe room. That's fine, it works out to the same and now we have a suite — perfect. I get there the next day and there are no records of her giving us this deal. They swipe my card for $70 more than they quoted me on the phone and made the reservation for. I explained how I spoke to someone on the phone and they rudely said it's not in their system and I made the reservation so now I have to stay. I went and grabbed my husband so we could explain to the manager in there why this is not the case. When we came back they were talking with another gentlemen. He was signing about 5 papers for liability which every person staying there has to sign. He politely said, I've never had to sign this much paperwork, it makes me not trust this place. The lady said well it's just routine. He said well what does this mean? And she said it's just for liability.

We came during the rodeo for a family emergency. There were no rooms to be found elsewhere and I'd never lodged in Payson so I wasn't really sure where to stay. This place had a room for us that far exceeded my expectations. I believe it was a king suite. It had a hot tub and a fireplace. The room also had a back porch area with gorgeous trees and grass. I enjoyed staying here, the staff were very friendly and the room was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Best place to stay, better than anything my wife and I could find all through the valley and surrounding areas. Whirlpool suites with huge therapy tubs and beautiful fireplace. Nice size shower. Super clean, nice selection of beer and wine. Good breakfast. Decent discounts at local restaurants, we recommend Fargo steak. We are making this our yearly getaway from now on.

My husband and I went for the weekend In April. Every member of the staff that we came across during our stay was very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. They have a hot breakfast included in the stay, (and its a breakfast not just muffins and coffee). There was biscuits & gravy, waffles, cereal, toast, hash browns, eggs, OJ, apple juice, coffee, milk and more! We had a great stay in the luxury King Suite with fireplace & Spa tub! Will definitely be coming back!

We stayed in a king room with a hot tub. The tub was a smaller one but still good. Rooms looked updated with flat screen TV, flooring, lights. The chair and sofa looked outdated though. Mattress was a regular one unlike a pillow top that you would find at a hotel like a Marriott or Holiday Inn but it was still comfortable. I recommend if you're looking for a better experience than a cheap motel 6. It's in the heart of Payson.

We stayed here about 2-3 weeks ago, my husband and I wanted to take a break and get out of town for the night since we have been busy and stressed due to my double mastecomy I had had a month prior to this. We decided to go to Payson since we had never stayed there only driven threw. I'd seen Majestic's web site and booked the king room with spa and fireplace right away even though it was a little out of our budget. After booking the room I called and asked how comfortable the beds were since a hard mattress was too much for me to sleep on still. I was told that they were soft and comfortable, I asked if extra pillows were possible or should I bring mine and I was told we'd have extra pillows when we arrived. I also requested a room as far away from traffice as possible since I am a light sleeper and was told no problem. We got there at 1:30pm to check in on Saturday, the room wasnt ready and was told it would be atleast another 2-3 hours but they'd call us as soon as we could get into our room. So we left and had lunch and drive around site seeing, we went back after 3 hours since no phone call to check in. At first the girl at the front desk wasnt sure our room was ready yet but then housekeeping came in gave her a list and she checked us in.

If someone hadn't come into our room it would have been amazing. The thought of someone coming in while we were in the hot tub is disturbing to say the least. There is no keyless security lock in the room. We didn't realize we had an unwelcome guest until they slammed and relocked the door. At that point we called the front desk and were immediately told that could not have possibly happened. It happened! We found out the next morning that there had been another issue with a vacant room bring deadbolted with no one inside. Master key ys think?

The hotel was great! Nice location, quiet rooms, and very clean. We will definitely visit again!

The room was awesome with a floor to cieling fireplace. The room was also large and clean. The only problem was when guest outside were hanging out in the back you could hear everything. I would stay here again.

Basic clean room, rate was OK, breakfast average, not a good idea to water green area outside lower rooms in the late afternoon as everyone was arriving… muddy.

5 stars for the fireplace with jacuzzi rooms. Unique, not chain-like. Push a bit for some sort of discount.

Great room! Great staff! Had a great time!

My husband and I, and our 2 girls, were visiting family in town. We stayed for 2 nights and we absolutely loved our room. So cozy and warm. It was like a home away from home. The staff and management always treat us like we are a part of their family. Needs are met on a timely manner and we never have an issue. We will be back again and again.

We had a wonderful time we enjoyed our jacuzzi tub and the fire place in our room it was a great location and service was awesome we will be going back.

Wonderful and friendly staff. Room was clean and had comfy pillows. The inn was pet friendly and really made it an easy night on a long trip. All in all we were impressed and are likely to stay again. Just wish the sign for the place more obviously placed.

Majestic Mountain Inn was a great place to spend the night. It is easy to get to in Payson, AZ, and a beautiful but not too long of a drive from the Phoenix area. We really enjoyed our stay in one of their king rooms with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the room. The continental breakfast the next morning was enjoyable, with a nice variety of foods that were kept well stocked even shortly before breakfast ended. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend to escape the valley heat for a couple of days. Awesome place, fun, clean and made my wife happy.

Stayed in a luxury king room… the hotel is not much to look at from the outside… not rustic or cabin-y, just a typical hotel, but the room was fantastic… gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub, large shower… big room… clean, fiendly staff… would definetly reccommend for a not-so-rustic getaway in payson… close to the rim and all sorts of outdoor activities. For $130 (including taxes) … My girlfriend and I will absolutely be coming back!

The front desk staff are friendly. However, the housekeeping staff needs schooling in cleaning. On the surface you think you are staying in a nice, updated room. However, when trying to kill the bugs on the lampshades. Hold your breath. The amount of dirt that flies up from the shade is unbearable. The carpet is dark. Hides the fact that the floors are not vacuumed. Anyhow, the clean factor is about a 2 out of 5. Here's the worst part. If the inn isn't at full capacity, it will take a least 20 minutes before you will have hot water. I called the front desk after a 5 minutes of running the water. They told me that they have a tankless water heater and it takes time for it to heat up and send the water to the rooms. I needed to be at an appointment right after I showered and checked out. After 20 minutes, I had to leave. I requested the ability to come back at 2pm (check-out was at noon) to shower since the room didn't have the hot water when I needed it. She told me she would ask housekeeping. An hour later, housekeeping left a message on my cell phone saying that needed that room for the evening and couldn't allow me to shower. I was pretty upset since the inn was empty. When I returned to pick up my luggage from the front desk, I told them what happened. Apparently, the lazy and rude housekeeper didn't want to accommodate me and made up the story that they needed the room. The manager did offer the shower and said I could return to the room.

Great rates and great room! We stayed in a Deluxe King Room with fireplace. The bed was comfortable and the room was big! Loved having a back door with patio also. We will defiantly will be back again.

Had an awesome night with my wife. Clean bed, good TV, spa and a giant room. Perfect. We will be back to this place for sure.

This is my favorite place to stay in Payson. My only regret on my last visit was the pool wss not open but that was because it was getting a new deck. Can't wait to go back.

Clean Room and pool. Great location for bicycle riding to Cyclist friendly restaurants and stores. I will be back again.
