The staff is super friendly and helpful BUT we bought 2 rooms — One room had BED BUGS and the other had dirt in the sheets! My mother got eaten up by these bed bugs it’s completely UNACCEPTABLE!

This property is really showing its age when you get up close. The walkways and stairways and the walls outside the rooms are dirty. The stairs actually move under your feet and make noise when you walk up and down them. The room I stayed in was a little worse for wear as well. Nothing looked new or bright or shiny or extra clean or anything of that nature. This place could use some remodeling and updating. I would say it's moderately overpriced as well, considering.

Location was near quite a few restaurants. Complimentary breakfast left a WHOLE lot to be desired. Also, the 2nd floor shook when someone went running outside.

Pretty good value. The bathroom needed remodeling. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, however the bed sheets were very nice.

Wow, I loved it here! Very important on my list, it was clean, neat, and staff were very friendly. It's extremely rare to get all of these three qualities at a hotel in this price range. I attend Aurburn University and will be staying here again no doubt. I really have to give credit to the two very nice ladies at the check-out desk and the housekeepers who made my room and made it possible for me to rest during a very busy school week.

My Husband and I stay here when we're visiting Tuskegee. Recently my Father in law passed away and most of our relatives live out of town. We needed rooms for the funeral. I checked in, dropped my bags off to my room and left. Later when I returned for the night, my room was crawling with roaches. Roaches on the vanity counter and mirror, roaches on the headboard. DISGUSTING! I checked out of the hotel at 1am. I blocked off rooms for my family and was extremely embarassed. I woke up the next morning to speak with Brenda the manager, who I've been on the phone throughout that week. Of course she apologized, called an exterminator, m. Brenda claimed the problem was only in my room. Well, here comes my relatives all checking in and now has the same complaint, roaches galore. Word got around, some stayed, others went to other nearby hotels. I left word with Brenda to have the district manager Richard Richards and the owner Vic Patel to call me. I honestly don't believe Brenda has made an effort to contact them on my behalf, and she refused to give me their numbers. roach infested… stay away from this roach motel!

It was clean and what you would expect from an affordable overnight hotel. The Wi-Fi was pretty slow, but I couldn't really complain about much else.

The Lodge was the only area that allowed us to bring our dog on our trip so it was really our only option. Front desk attendent was polite and the room was a decent size. Poor lighting and the hard floors were pretty dirty. Walls and floors transfer noise pretty easily, so whenever anyone is going up and down the stairs you will know. The dog didn't like that one bit making the stay rather unpleasant. The restroom was clean but the towels we're extremely unpleasant… I'm not sure how to describe it but I felt like dropping the towels every time I touched them. That said it was descent for the amount we paid. It doesn't feel like the safest area though and some people were smoking pot downstairs. Could smell it every time I walked by the door.

Checked in & the first room had bugs of some kind hanging on the curtain & a spider hanging out in the shower area. The second room we got ended up having some type of bug in the bed with my daughter that bit her arm up left big knots that we had to go to the ER for. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone either. Just a bad experience all around in the two hotels we stayed in during our trip to Alabama.

Good sized room, nice TV, cold air. For a 2 star hotel this was beyond expectations. Nice desk staff as well.

Pretty much what you'd expect from a chain like this. Reasonable. Next to the Waffle House, which is convenient. Friendly staff. Room smelled pretty strongly like marijuana from the last tenant, not much you can do to cover that up though that I know about. Also keys stopped working all of a sudden and the tenants had to go get new ones, that could potentially be a bad situation. 3.5/5

We decided to leave St. Augustine for Hurricane Irma. This has been a very pleasant experience. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance have been more than accommodating. They made the best of a situation at a time when my family and I were displaced. The rooms were clean, had plank flooring and accept pets. I would not only recommend this hotel but would definitely stay here again.

We stay religiously in this hotel. It is comfortable and great quality for price!

This place is amazing! I travel for work and stay in hotels all over the country and I have never come across a more helpful and friendly hotel staff. Especially the manager Chris. It was a busy weekend and he did everything he could to make sure I got a room. Rooms are nice and clean. Wi-Fi is a little spotty but that could just be due to the number of people using it. Would definitely stay here again.

Great road trip sleeping stop. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, DirecTV, more than adequate for sleep stop on a long road trip. Also pet friendly with $20 pet fee for our 2 dogs. We did not take advantage of the included breakfast at hotel as we slept past it — but there is also a Waffle House next door.

3 fluffy pillows per bed, spacious rooms, and a first rate breakfast thats served from 6 to 9 am.

At first I didn't know what to expect. I'd never stayed an Econolodge. It was an AMAZING NIGHTS SLEEP! The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and just what I needed after a long day of driving.

Clean big room, affordable though off the beaten path a bit.

Stayed for 3 nights for $59, the staff is very kind, they got DirectTV will lots of channels, parking is free and not busy most of the time, the ac is okay. However, the bed is uncomfortable, the internet is at 5-10 Mbps which is slow and isnt reliable always, the cleaning ladies wont clean everything unless you tell them, breakfast was free but isnt pleasing, the neighbors can be loud cus the walls are thin, you could hear the car going since the hotel is on a busy main road. Cleaners would chat nearby and wake you up early in the morning. I would only stay again for the price.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Check in was simple and the employee on duty was extremely cordial. Our room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioner worked. This is a GREAT place to stay.
