Nice staff, nice rooms and most of all, big bathrooms with JET TUBS.

Was a very great. Place to sleep in for the night. Very comfortable bed. Great showers. The breakfast was very special. All went along with the room. Quire relaxing atmosphere. I give it a 10 star raiting. The Employees were very nice and personable.

Great family atmosphere. Miss my Alabama family.

The desk clerk named Ms Terry and Carrie went way out of their way for me when I checked in. They made my check in outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean & comfortable but if the rest of the staff is as helpful and friendly as Terry and Carrie I'll stay here every time…

Floor is incredibly filthy, my children walked on carpet in room barefoot and the bottoms of their feet quickly turned black. Pocket door for toilet /shower are had lots of scratches with missing paint. Shower was disappointing, definitely would have preferred a tub. We stayed in a double queen room. Pool was broken and maintenance man in hospital. Pool looks pretty sad anyway. Complimentary breakfast was good, lots of hot items to choose from. Waffles were a big hit! We got a peaceful sleep. Beds appeared clean and pest free. I think I would stay at one of the other nearby hotels next time though. No fitness room either. And I do not believe they allow pets according to their actual website. Didn't test Wi-Fi.

Nicely renovated and decorated. Clean, quiet and very comfortable! It was a little set back from the road, but the sign was easy to see. Friendly service.

Location was convenient — right off the interstate. Parking lot could have been a little more well-lit, and we did encounter a man sleeping in his car. Staff were friendly, rooms could use some improvements. Not the worst, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here.

The desk clerk named Terry went way out of her way for me when I checked in. She made my check in outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable but if the rest of the staff is as helpful and friendly as Terry I'll stay here every time I come through this area… which is a lot. Kudos to this establishment!

We stayed there 3 Fridays ago. It is by far the worst experience we have ever had staying in hotels. The thins walls and highway noise was no big deal to me. The fact that the room we finally ended up with was slightly dirty still didn't bother us much given we only stayed for about 7 hours. The issue was that we were given keys to someone else's room. We scared the people obviously and lady at the front desk had no idea what happened. Also the water was luke warm then cold. Not to mention how many times my card was swiped. I got a small discount for all the trouble, which wasn't enough. Do yourself a favor book one of the several other hotels a block or 2 away.

Clean. Very friendly front desk staff. Extremely accommodating for a family of 5. Great rates! Free breakfast. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds. What more could you ask for?! Will definitely keep this on my list of places to stop when traveling.

The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. The check-in prices was fast and efficient. I would like to see a few more gluten free options for breakfast and I would like the outside doors that lead directly up the stairs to the rooms to be locked.

Friendly people and convenient to the local restaurants and interstate. Easy check in and check out.

An outstanding value, we appreciate the friendliness of the staff, the hot breakfast, mini refrigerator in the room, but most of all, that this hotel is pet friendly! We have stayed here on the way to/from our Florida destination 3 years in a row and will continue to do so next year.

The room was pristine. The front desk lady was so friendly and was making a second round of homeade cookies for the guests. If I'm in Athens again I won't stay anywhere else!

Not a bad hotel, if you aren't staying for very long. It's good for stopping for a night and then leaving. Breakfast is good but not anything special. The Orange juice is minty… Kinda weird I thought. Beds are comfy and has a fridge and a microwave. Not a bad place at all. Nothing stands out though.

Sheets had spots on them didn't feel clean. Air conditioner was set on high at 60 degrees and was still hot and humid. Told front desk at check out no compensation. Will not stay again. Staff was friendly.

We stayed here about a month ago. The room was a mess when we arrived, and it smelled horrible. I didn't even want to stay there. The whole place just looked too unkempt, like it wasn't taken care of. We found bugs in our room. And after still staying there (not my decision) we find out that the hotel was overcharging us (double). Not just us, but other guests as well. I tried to speak with the owner, but when he is there he doesn't talk to anyone. While the girls at the front desk adjust fix the room rates, that we were told was done by the owner, I still think that filthy hotel should just be shut down.

If you want to relax, don't stay here. Old and gross. Spend a little more so you don't have to worry about stupid stuff and you can relax and enjoy your stay in stead of dread it.

Exterior of Building in need of repairs. Housekeeping did a poor job in preparing room for guest, tolit had not been clean in quite a while. Dark lines inside bowl. It takes time to get that way. Night attendant unprofessional. She was Outside smoking while guest waiting several minutes to check in, and no apology was given for delay. Tried calling front desk, while standing at front desk to see if that would help bring an attended, but was unsuccessful. Plug in covers missing by a. C. Dangerous for children to be around. Trust me, book a different hotel.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, very clean, beds comfy but older hotel. Convienently located. Only minus large mold build up on ceiling in bathroom from old leak.

Clean, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was good. The rooms could use some paint and freshening up. Overall, met our needs and we felt safe.

Everything was standard and what you would expect. No room for improvements that wouldn't increase the price per night. I reserve 4 and 5 stars for places that go above and beyond expectations.

Upon checking staff not in uniform. Female and male subject behind the desk wearing swim trucks, the female had a tank top on with her bra hanging out. Upon getting in the rooms as I rented 2. The temperature was at least 80. The rooms had a strong smell. Bathroom door wouldn’t close all th me way, the entry/exit door had the laminate peeled off. The entry/exit door wouldn’t close fully without slamming it. The rooms above our 2 was extremely loud as if they was bouncing a baseballs on the floor and jumping off the bed. Contacted the front desk clerk multiple times and nothing was done about it. Around 5am the trash truck sounds like he was driving through the building. Seemed he banged the dumpster on the ground for a good 10 minutes. Upon checkout the clerk was too busy on her cell phone to check us out then had to request a receipt. This was a terrible experience and will never stay here again. I would have been better off to drive on.

Excellent stay — breakfast attendant needs to learn to be unobtrusive instead of interjecting in guest's conversations. Putting someone with mobility issues in a Jacuzzi tub room is not the best move. Have enjoyed our stays here but this time was put off by the lady in the breakfast area. 6/1/17

Clean and comfortable. Good size television for viewing and relaxing. Shower was a good size and easy to move around in. However the room we had didn't have a tub. Hoping to stay again. Easy on the pocket book.

Rooms are clean, front desk staff is friendly, Kitchen staff was rude! Rooms are hot even with the air on high. Breakfast was ok but not great. Don't think I'll stay again.

Uh well got the room by the desk it's 1 am and either the employees are so loud it feels like I'm in there with them or someone in the break room … Either way … It's 1 am! Quiet in the halls please! Everytime someone here ice it's right by my head … Room was twice as much as normal because of a baseball game… And now all this … Geez it's June 5th … And I'm writing this as I lay on this hard bed wishing that the air was louder to drown out people Talking.

It was a last minute decision to go here. They were able to get us a fair price on the spot. I'm not too picky about hotel rooms, but I feel that this one was in need of updating. The staff was friendly. They supposedly have an OK breakfast, but I didn't have time to check it out. I'm assuming that they just don't have the pool ready for the season, because it's an interesting shade of green. On the plus side; it's right off I65, so you can hop right back on to continue your journey.

We had a nice stay. The building is older and showed its age. The walls were dirty in our room. Breakfast was ok. We will most likely look for a different hotel at this exit next time we visit. The staff was friendly.

Very slow check in — could not have bed choice we made in our reservations. No maid service the first day and thereafter all that was done was making the beds and changing the towels — no new bed linen throughout our stay. Floor was either not vacuumed or they have a very bad vacuum. Excuse was it was Spring Break and they were "short". Breakfast was simply bad. Sleep Inn would do well to get their name off of this establishment.

Pros: evening desk was friendly and tried to be helpful. Shower had good water pressure and was hot. Cons: stop over on family trip to Florida used reward points to get a free room — found I didn't feel rewarded rather I felt punished. I am an HVAC Technician and the heater was arcing so badly and loudly it was keeping wife and kids awake and it was very unsafe to run. Asked to change room told no luck hotel full. Couldn't run heat. TP dispenser fell out of wall. TV didn't work due to a cryptic quirk with the channel control on the set — it took the desk clerk to come in the room to fix it — and I can assure you I'm no dummy but I couldn't figure it out. Was supposed to be two queen beds they were size of two full beds. Beds were hard and I could feel the actual springs. Any time one of the two in the bed moved it shook so badly it woke the other up. Breakfast sparse and scary: orange juice was brown, apple juice ran out, hot chocolate packets but no hot water available, supposedly breakfast is 6-9am but by 7:15 there was no sausage and front desk said there wasn't going to be any more they were out. Seriously!? I stay in various hotels overnight for work often and I have seen breakfast bars get slammed with far more people yet keep the bar fully stocked. We opted for McDonald's. The sausage that quickly disappeared looked scary anyway. Chose here from some reviews being better than reviews for other nearby hotels. I was very disappointed.
