Very nice place and very clean people was friendly no junk going on outside will stay here again if need to.

Horrible… the room was DIRTY! The room was suppose to be non-smoking but it smelled like it had been smoked in every day since the place opened. The comforter and sheets had stains all over them. Needless to say we checked out as soon as we checked in and stayed down the road at the Bestwestern. The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because they were petfriendly.

Stayed overnight and was a nice room with a couple of quarks. First there was a fan box uncovered in the bathroom. Also on the bathroom door was a dirty towel. Other than that the room was very clean and very nice. I would probably stay there again and give them another chance.

Check in was INSANELY easy. Room was very clean. Looked recently updated too. The bathtub liked like or needed to be reglazed and the bathroom fan was missing its cover, but that's only cosmetic. The bed was comfy and the A/C blew nice and cold. It was not far off the highway, but still quiet. Close to stores and food. Check out was also a breeze, but we left fairly early. Did not stay for breakfast, but that's because Waffle House is across the street. And… waffles… you know.

My experience was terrible from as far as staff & including the room. I had a spider crawling in my bed as I left the room I saw a bug that looked like a centipede and the towel rack was broke. The bathroom was very nasty and the only compensation was if we stayed there again… Not we'll take care of it. Couldn't sleep well some type of drilling going on that management acting like they knew nothing bout… JUST BAD EXPERIENCE… DON'T USE THIS PLACE.

Found some type of bugs in the bathroom. Cleaning sent was to strong. Good location comfortable beds. Price was a bit much for the room.

The rooms pictured are deceiving. The one I was in was old and dirty. There were holes in the comforter, cigarette burns in the blanket and hair on the toilet. The continental breakfast should have been called the carb breakfast. The breakfast area had no a/c and the tile floor was wet from humidity and slick. I asked for more towels and I had to give them my dirty ones first, I understand the reasoning for that but trustme, nobody would steal those little rough old towels.

Great location, good prices, and partly modern decor BUT housekeeping was awful. They called our room a "king suite" but only because there was a pony wall dividing the sitting area and the bed. There was a jacuzzi/shower next to the bed. The bathroom consisted of a sink, toilet and the coffee maker. Our room smelled awful. There was long white animal hair andgummy bear candy all over the carpet, spider webs in every corner, thick dust on the furniture, and the walls had food (I hope) on them. The shower/jacuzzi curtain rod was brown from not being cleaned. The ceiling had poor repair work, the wall paper was coming off in areas and the desk chair was broke. If there had been another pet friendly hotel close by we would not had stayed.

It seems like they are really trying to put money back into this hotel. Our room had an updated comfortable bed, bathroom sink area, bath tub, television and furniture. The walls & ceiling need fixed & painted bad. There is a nice sized coffee pot, fridge, and small microwave. It was a clean room. The staff were kind & professional. Could use more towels. I didn't check out the breakfast so I can't comment on it.

The room sucked half of the lights didn't work the shower didn't work the toilet would not flush I will never use travel in again.

I extended my stay only to have one of the employees beat on my door. Waking me up demanding I go or extend my stay. I said I did! He asked me again "you sure you pay"? "If not you go" Dude check with the front desk before banging on ppls door being rude! I won't return!

I was completely happy with the service that was daily. The atmosphere was friendly. The owners and staff were friendly. Good location for an afternoon or morning walk. No bugs. Best mattress I have slept on in years in a hotel. Great weekly rate. I highly recommend Travel Inn, and will be back if ever working in this area again, or seeking mountain adventure.

It's extremely clean. The personal is very helpful and friendly. I am going to use this place from now on when working in this area.

This is a simple hotel. The carpeting and furniture are simple and a little out dated, however, the shower water pressure is strong for that morning shower and the continental breakfast is of good quality and abundant with a T. V. On a local news station to watch while eating a favorite cold cereal and milk or a waffle that you make yourself plus thete are muffins. There is coffee, juice and milk to drink. So, in conclusion not a bad place to stay for the price point.

Professional and friendly staff! Had a stay here last weekend together with my family and I was really satisfied with the room we had. It was clean and it was very comfy. Also, in the morning, we ordered a continental breakfast with some pastries and a cup of coffee. It was totally worth staying!

Had a great stay at Travel Inn! I would like to thank the front desk staff for the accommodation and the hospitality, they were also friendly as well! The room was great! It was big and it was really clean! Also, the bed was very comfy and had a soft blanket. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and love ones!

Great all around and I would not hesitate to stay at this location or put my family in this hotel for any length of stay. The hotel staff is very amiable and the property is clean, well maintained and well decorated. Other perks is the delicious continental breakfast offered which makes travelling with small children much easier. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stopped here as a halfway point to Gulf Shores Alabama this is our third stay this wasn't a pleasant one and aggravating thing is you can't call in and pay ahead which was important today in order to do so you have to email your information with permission the rate is great we got two rooms one with a king size bed the second with two double beds the king size room we had to call and get all new sheets because ours was disgusting the towels are stained in the second room there was blood on the bathroom shower walls and on the wall a quarter size amount and aggravating thing is you can't call in and pay a had which was important today and order to do so you have to email your information with permission the rate is great we got to rooms one with a king size bed the second what to double beds the king size room we had to call and get all new sheets the second room had quarter-size blood on the shower walls and on the bathroom walls it was very disappointing we will not stay here again.

If I could give less than 1 star I world… this place was so bad we left in less than an hour. Checked in, took about 10 minutes to get unloaded into the room. The moisture was so bad we had to put or bags on the table. Then we took our shoes off & it was so moist, worse than when you fresh shampoo carpets. The beds felt damp and felt like you had bugs crawling on you. Couldn't take it any longer after 30 minutes and packed up. Worst experience ever, & I've stayed in hotels that cost $25/night that were nicer.

I wouldn't even give them a zero… a negative 100 is much better! They have blood stained sheets and they expect me to change the sheets, how disgusting of a place. They won't give me my money back and expect my Kids to sleep on them. They are lazy and this is how they treat their Military and Hurricane Irma Evacuatees! I would stay far away, it's disgusting how they treat people.

Will charge you extra for your animals eventhough you already paid when you first checked in. Depending when you check in, they will also tell you "Its nothing to get tore up over" when you try and reason with them. Also be careful of the creepy guy in the morning that stares into your window for no reason. He cupped his hands and stood at our window for several minutes while we were getting changed and ready to leave.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was older but it was perfect to stop and sleep. They also have breakfast which was ok.

Gave it 3 because I knew what I was getting before hand. If looking for a cheap night it will work. Was not totally clean but no bugs or anything. It seems they have people who live here. But they were nice and quiet. So if you just need a cheap place for a night it will do.

The desk people were nice enough, but they made some big mix ups (walked into an occupied room with the key and number they gave), and they didn't seem to know anything about the adjoining room request that was made online, and thus didn't honor it (even with empty rooms available the whole time we were there). Still, not a big deal… So they relocate us upstairs and say that it's been newly renovated and should be really nice. We get up there and turn the air on (because it wasn't on and it was hot and musty). The table, chairs, and chest of drawers is really rickety, there's crayon on the walls, and the shower has some curly hairs still in there, in addition to the used wash rag hiding in the curtain. Wasn't super happy about that, but whatever. Word to anyone staying here, though, in the two rooms that my party occupied, both showers were EXTREMELY slippery. I assume it's whatever cleaning product they use, but water gets on it and it becomes dangerously slick. No anti-slip anythings in there. To their credit, though, they did have a functional coffee pot, microwave, blow dryer, and full-sized fridge. Their air conditioner did not work as it should, but it existed and sorta worked in the one room and worked very well in the other room. Nothing awful, and I'd probably stay again, but it wasn't anything spectacular, either. It's pretty convenient to some food places, they have free Wi-Fi and a pool, and a free breakfast.

Nice place to sleep not bad but it could have cleaner my only grip.

The people here were very helpful and courteous and went above and beyond to make my family and I feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. We were very impressed with how clean and neat the rooms were. We have a pitbull that is very dear to us and they had no problem with him being there as most pet friendly hotels do not allow that particular breed of dog and only a $10 nonrefundable pet fee that we gladly paid. Another plus is the full breakfast not just muffins and coffee, Belgian waffles, hot and cold cereal, fruit the works! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Athens Alabama.

Was so exhausted it didn't matter much. Breakfast was fair. No protein though. Not even peanut butter. Better than nothing. At least it didnt cost much.

It was ok. But I do agree management needs to ride housekeeping on keeping the bathrooms clean. I had issues with hair in my bathroom. That's kinda gross. The fee was decent, bed, TV were ok.

The staff was very rude to me and my husband. They charged me and my husband for our five year old to swim. I was short only had $3.80. The guy up front told my daughter she couldn't come swimming cuz her mom didn't have enough money. Made my daughter cry. They are very very rude. I feel like they are racist cuz me and my husband are an interracial marriage.

Room is nice but shows some wear. Comfy bed, great shower, full sized fridge, affordable.

It isn't any different than any other motel.

The hotel was very dirty. The room is not updated as advertised on the website. There was stains on the wall, the shower head was falling out, the sink was horrible. Only received one towel. I would say please pass on this deal.

Got a great room for the money. Very convenient to restaurants. Nice TV with the SEC channel. Pretty quiet. Would have given 5 stars if the pillow was softer. I feel like I got my moneys worth. Good value.

Just awful. How this place has any good reviews is beyond me. We stayed here for the night on our way down to Florida because all of the other nice hotels in the area were booked and the not so nice ones had reports of bed bugs. Big mistake. Should have slept in the car. The furniture was broken, stained with what appeared to be blood, and falling apart. The room reeked of urine and cigarette smoke even though the room was non-smoking. There were hairs and drops of blood on the bathroom floor. I HIGHLY doubt the rooms here are ever cleaned let alone the sheets changed. Needless to say. Spare yourself the headache and just keep driving.

Great accommodations for your dollar! Hot breakfast was good with very minor issues. I would recommend to anyone travelling through.

Great place, great service, clean and friendly staff. Stayed here while I was working on the road as a contractor. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the walls are paper thin and I could hear everyone around me but I would stay here again.

Greatest ever spent excellent service clean hotel staff was wonderful.
