Poor place. Rooms small. Smelly and there is cockroaches. Place is dangerous and no clean beds too.

Not really an apartment… it was a room with a fridge, small table and 2 chairs and bathroom. Our room was in the top floor up a spiral staircase. There was no signage indicating a hotel but the owner came quickly once we phoned him. He was very friendly and enthusiastic and only too happy to help with anything. Room was very small for 3 but ok. Flooring was worn and when one had a shower the whole bathroom got wet. The location was handy for the sights in the area but it was in very much a basic local area.

Ali, the owner, made everything to make us feel welcome. The hotel is well located in Old Sultanahmet. A few steps away from the Blue Mosque. You won't regret…

We had an affordable, newly renovated and spacious rooms in an excellent location, if one wants to visit the main attractions in Istanbul/Sultanahmet on foot (3 days were filled plenty! ), and yet was it very quiet.
The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful! Without him we would have certainly big problems with the delivery of the rental car, but he has done all calls to us. As we then drove off from Istanbul, he came with just the first piece, so that we find out well from the street tangle of the old town. He brings up the rich breakfast in the room. Ali's great cordiality will make always unforgettable 'Germany people' Istanbul to us.
Oh yes: close, there are several 'extremely cheap' as well as 'normal cheap' ways to get good food.
