Place is close to Grand Bazar, lively neighborhood, but the hotel quality is not satisfying, small dark rooms, you can hardly move yourself through stuff. Staff are pretty nice and ready to help. Breakfast is acceptable on the roof with nice view of water side. Restaurants around are worthy to test, crowdy with live musics, liked it.

Good location. The rooms are small but everything worked! The breakfast was very good.

I am disgusted by this hotel, it does not have the merit of a 4 star hotel;d are my arrival, it had not prepared my room, they found me a room in a 3 star hotel… then the next day I could have a room… the room was clean and the food was very small. The dinner comes from a fast food that is next to the hotel so the cold meal on arrival… and the shabby neighborhood.
I am so disgusted that I allow myself to express my mecontement… for info I'm still in the hotel.

Thoroughly disappointed with this hotel! We booked this hotel expecting standard quality and service that should be expected from a Best Western Hotel. When we checked into the hotel (late in the evening) we were informed that they over-booked the hotel and that we'd need to stay in a hotel across the street. The hotel they expected us to stay in was horrible! The beds were so small and practically sitting on the floor with stain-covered sheets, a mouldy bathroom, very dark hallways and stairwell. As two young female travellers on our first night in Istanbul we were very uncomfortable. We went back to the Amber hotel and requested a new hotel. We then got in a Van and were brought to a hotel that would be of equal quality — this should have happened the first time! However the hotel could not accommodate additional nights, so we chose to book with a different hotel for the remainder of our stay. DO NOT expect to get what you book and be prepared to end up in a different hotel (apparently this is quite common).

A wonderful hotel a warm welcome from the by Mr Yakoub it is always smiling I love this hotel there is everything in front of the hotel Blue Mosque. The Topkapi Palace… Aya sophia. Mosque of Sulayman… Basilica Cistern… The Big Bazaar… The Egyptian Bazaar… I loved Turkey and very clean hotel.

We stayed for a week in a room in July of the 2014. We took a triple room on the fifth floor and were quite satisfied. The size of the room was the usual for a triple room. The room had one double bed and one single. It has a fridge with free water (filled every day) and the bathroom was correct (with shower). The rooms have free Wi-Fi.
It is a small hotel with lift and dining room on the last floor. In the price of the room included breakfast, you can take it inside the dining room and on the terrace. They have cereals, pasta, fruit and the typical English breakfast. I missed a toaster.
The location of the hotel is quite good, you can walk to many tourist spots in the city and the tram is just 10 min. Around the hotel there are many restaurants to be able to have dinner and a drink.
In general it is a hotel that would recommend without problems and would return if I find a good deal to us we left the triple for about €60.
