Worst Hotel to stay while at pattaya… Nova chain… "NOVA GOLD PATTAYA" is gold only by name… otherwise it not worth to mention aluminum… even way below that… dull faces at reception… unfriendly and non co operitave staff… missing basic amenities… we were group of 5 people… at time of check-in at hotel directly coming from Bangkok airport … one of my friend was in urgent need of water due to medicine intake… lady at reception… refuse to give water and directed us to by from market… which any of us never expected from nova chain… staff did their best to spoil our tour… one thing for sure… non of us going to stay at this hotel AGAIN… EVER… even for " FREE "

Nice rooms and staff. The pool is awesome and the fitness center is nice although I find it a little bit on the small side.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The room was not cleaned even once. When asked for it they said our records show that it is cleaned it might be that you yourself have made the room dirty. When asked for a glass at 11 pm. They said there is no house keeping staff so can't give u a glass. The receptionist was very rude. The size of the room was very good though.

It is another property of Nova group. And it is as same as other hotels. Rooms size seems little small and compact.

Well appointed hotel with good price/performance ratio. Friendly staff. However, the customer will try to take more money. I asked on the evening before at the front desk what the later check out at 4pm costs and I got in response 800 THB. At about 12 o'clock the next day I was called by the front desk that it would be time to check out. I answer that I only check out about 4pm and they told me that this costs 1000 THB. When I answered that the day before 800 THB was made, this was also okay.

One of the good hotel in the pattaya city, services is good and staff is very polite. It's nearest to beach and Big mall and nice temple behind the hotel.

The Nova Gold is a mid-range hotel located about 300 meters from Pattaya Sai Song Road (2nd road) and Soi 6. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable and include free Wi-Fi, satellite tv, a safe, a fridge, a kettle to boil water for coffee/tea and daily room cleaning. Every room has a balcony with a small table and two chairs. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Smoking is not allowed inside the hotel, but guests can smoke outside on the balcony. At check-in, a security deposit of 1, 000 baht is reqiuired and will be returned when checking out. There are several small restaurants just a few meters from the hotel and a 24 hour Family Mart convience store is next door.

Very rude receptionist. No hospitality at all. For some reason we reached by 9 am and our checkin time was 2pm. We booked 2 rooms for 2 days. We requested them to give a room 1-2 hour earlier and they straight away denied and said that if you need room earlier you should have booked for prior day too. Very pompous and rude staff. Absolutely no manners at all! Wont recomended it to anyone. Feeling very irritated. Kind of ruined the say since we were so tired. Dont know on what basis they hire ppl to talk like that.

Great rooms. The only turn off is the Wi-Fi which is slow and disconnects often. Another issue is that it is 3 to 4 kms away from walking street and 1.5 km from the beach road. Other than these a great place to stay.

On an all hotel is good with hygienic restrooms & bedrooms, staff is good but two things I don’t like was hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant & Wi-Fi connectivity is poor. Even after complaining they wasn’t able to correct Wi-Fi. One more thing staff had a communication problem too, as they hardly understand English.

I was very pleased with hotel very clean the staff were always helpful rooms are always nice and clean and the bathrooms nice and clean shopping about 10 minutes walk.

Worst in customer service. Extremely unfriendly staff. They don't even have an power adapter for customers and if asked they will propose to buy on your own. No international channels for viewing in the TV for international visitors and rooms are just average. They put 100s of things in the room for sale to ensure you knowingly or unknowingly touch any, so that they can charge whooping amount. Stinking smell from the room. They don't have any restaurant facility.

Just a basic hotel. No smiles, no service, no answers to emails. You can get same level hotel experience for about 500thb from somewhere else.

It was very bad experiance in this hotel. There has no cooprative staff. I stay this hotel 7/9/017 to 10/9/017. If you use the bath towel then it is charge fo dusty 300 bath. Very poor service and misbehave staff. The hotel rules are like a hittler rulas … I totaly waste my mony and time to stay in this hotel.

Very dissatisfied. I sent two times an email with a question about a wrong booking caused by the NOVA bookingsystem! Not any response, except two attempts to charge my credit card!

The hotel's rooms are good … but 1 star. Because of th staff… they r theives … and the receptionists are all very bad in handling customers. They dont give a DAMN.

I visited pattaya last week with a 38 members group. We all had a very bad experience there. Staff was very rude, rooms were not cleaned. We took breakfast in other hotel as Nova Gold doesn't have a restaurant. They make foolish of all that they will provide Indian breakfast. Far from near by market's. Never go to this Hotel.

It's actually a nice hotel near beach road in Pattaya. The only thing I don't like was that it does not have a restaurant. Rest all is good and price is also quite reasonable.

The location is very good, but the room is very clean. The view from the balcony is very good. The staff was normal, but when asked to open the number of tonnes, the husband was separated (only one) said it cost 200 butt, ostensibly to call an electrician. (The cleaning lady opens her key to all the doors). The pool was good. It is located in the center, Beach Road about six blocks, and we went to a knock-knock, a taxi. I bet three for the staff and the posharponasti numbers. It's good to have an area and a price.

Stay here every time we come to Pattaya. The hotel is super nice, room is spacious and clean. Every staff at Nova Gold Hotel will go above and beyond their duties to make sure you have the best time staying here. I love everything about this hotel. Thumbs up!

Quite possibly the worst hotel in all of Thailand. They run a nice little scam. On the website it looks nice with all these nice rooms. But that is not the room you will get. The rooms have bugs in them, the shower leaked and I would have to mop up the mess after each shower and the linen on the bed was torn and ripped. The air conditioning is so loud you wont be able to sleep. They say it has nice views, it does of the local slums. They say its 10min to the beach, maybe by helicopter, not by walking. Rooms are dirty, dirty stained carpet in the halls, only 1 elevator, staff is nasty and incompetent, you have to walk about 200m to another hotel for breakfast. I wouldnt put a prisoner on death row at this hotel. They would say it was cruel and inhumane treatment.

Very good value for money. Also able to use amalfi hotel rooftop pool. All Wi-Fi and TV channels work which is a rarity here. Very polite and helpful staff. Would highly reccomend.

Great little hotel away from hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to town if desired. Good eateries nearby. Clean, well appointed and value for money. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, golf buggy transportation to major roads if required. Jameson's Hotel around corner, 50 steps there 300 back. Do yourself a favour, try it.

I always stay at this hotel if I am in this part of the country.
