This hotel is by far the best in Scandinavia. I have stayed there plenty og times over the last 10 yrs and I am so impressed in how they are able to keep the high standard year after year. Service. Food. Design. Location. Crowd.

We loved this gorgeous hotel! Hip, modern but historically beautiful too! Every staff member was extremely polite, friendly and eager to help us find restaurants, museums and taxis. Our room (along with the rest of the hotel) was dripping with Swedish style and elegance. The food was delicious & abundant and the drinks were the perfect end to our day, I especially enjoyed the Scandinavian Sours We can’t wait to come back!

Room with a view from bed! Love the staff so far and the room has everything you could possibly need. Heated towel rack and lovely sitting area.

Professionalism and kindness of the staff and reception. Very nice hotel with panoramic views. I found it a bit expensive indeed, especially based on what it offers, but recommended.

If you're looking for happy endings with some of the most beautiful women on this planet then this is the best place in the whole of entire Sweden. Ask for Anastasia :) she is top notch!

Well appointed room, comfortable bed and quiet. Young, friendly staff who are helpful. Good breakfast buffet and a lively bar out front Ideal for a pre dinner drink.

Gave us a “haunted” / “ problematic “ room in the attic that they knew had problems because the receptionist said no rooms available for early check in, then the lady said something in German and then there was a tiny room in the attic available and so many strange vibes hat we could not sleep all night. We left the hotel in the morning. Paid 3 nights and stayed 1 night.

Stayed at Lydmar hotel with my family and we had a the wonderful stay. The hotel is very well located in the centre of city near the harbour just a few minutes walk everywhere. Our rooms were exceptionally clean and welcoming. Food was great and they have a very reasonable breakfast in the morning with a wonderful selection of juices, breads and cheese. The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend and go back there!

Very nice place to grab a drink or two after work. Fantastic location with great views. If you plan to stay the night, book in advance. It's a boutique hotel with bit a lot of rooms. The food is also very very good, and you have the front, the main restaurant or the back terrace to choose from. Live DJ as well after work. Gets very crowded quicky.

Beautiful hotel. Very well done rooms and lobby. Lots of books and crannies to do work and have meetings. Central location. Love it and will be back!

Hip, charming hotel with large rooms, eclectically furnished. Great staff! And a terrific restaurant too. Perfect location to get around, walk, grab a taxi, boat or bus tour, or metro — it’s all there, but the Lydmar is far enough off the main drag that it’s very quiet.

Great small hotel. We loved the interior design. The rooms were very nice and luxurious. The staff was extremely attentive.

PROS: The location is great, the design concept underlying the hotel and the rooms is fabulous. The breakfast is sumptuous, served in what looks like a library. CONS: Some of the rooms have nice views, some look out on parking lots and construction sites. The hotel employees were not at all pro-active in solving a big problem with the room (no heat), so three of the four nights were a disaster. Though the director tried to make amends on the last day, it was by then too late to convince me that this is real 5-star service.

Wonderful spot to make your home base as you explore the city. On the waterfront, taxi's for land and sea are right out the front door. Bar scene was hopping in the evenings, central to a number of attractions we wanted to see. Staff was very accommodating, rooms are large and well appointed.

One of the nicest places to have lunch in Stockholm, especially in summer. Food is good but the location is fantastic, as is the atmosphere. The staff is not very friendly though and must improve.

An amazing place, an experience you rarely forget. The staff is exceptional! The hotel is beautiful, it is extremely relaxing. The food is wonderful and thoughtfully prepared. This will be a place I will visit again.
