Hotels in Ella with Parking

Absolutely loved our 2-night stay at Zion View Ella Green Retreat! The location is perfect – walking distance to the centre of Ella, yet the property has a serene, away-from-it-all feeling.

Listed as three star hotel but delivers much beyond that rating.

Our stay at Anasa Wellness Resort was truly amazing. The property is beyond exceptional—beautiful, peaceful, immaculately maintained, and spotlessly clean.

Beautiful chalets overlooking misty mountains and tea plantations. Clean and well maintained to luxury standards. Delicious food both western and Srilankan.

We had initially booked another property in Ella, but it didn’t meet our expectations. While looking for alternatives, we came across Oak Ridge, Ella, and it turned out to be a great decision.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. My family with 2 kids really enjoyed. The hotel atmosphere was very calm, peaceful and safe. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality.

Absolutely stunning location, a good 20 minutes from the centre of Ella but worth it for the peace and tranquility. Beautiful breakfast surrounded by wildlife and lush forest.

Our stay at Planters Bungalow was simply amazing.
The view from the rooms is absolutely breathtaking.

Delightful stay, wish we could have stayed longer!
From the very welcoming team on arrival to.
Iskara & team in the restaurants, who went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable.

What an absolute gem! A wonderful room with the most fabulous view. A la carte menu instead of the standard, cold buffet fare we've had everywhere else.

Located right at the top of the hills, this was an amazing stay! Our last stop in Sri Lanka and the best. The room was very big and had amazing views. Very clean and quiet.

What a place! What an experience! Worth every penny staying at this hotel. It feels like you are at home with a loving family. Everyone is taking care of you. The staff are fantastic.

We stayed here after going to Ella. I went here with two foreigners. It is a very clean place. I also stayed in the same place. There is even a hostel here. I stayed in a hostel.

Such a great spot to stay. We stayed in the dorms for 3 nights and the staff were so friendly and attentive. They even let us leave our boards there while we went and travelled elsewhere. Legends.

Wonderful views of Ella Rock and the waterfall. Don’t think you could wish for more re the view from our balcony.

We recently stayed here for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A stunning view makes the hike up the hill all the worth while.

Room super spacious.
The shower was such a treat, nice temperature.
Everything clean.
The Wi-Fi was also working.
Breakfast delicious.

Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay at Samiru guest. The host was friendly, helpful and very quick to respond to any needs.

Such a beautiful stay at this guesthouse. The family was so welcoming and nice.

The place is very nice and in a great location with amazing views. It's a bit further from the city noise, but there are good restaurants nearby and you can still walk everywhere.

We only stayed for one night which was definitely not enough but Ekho Ella was beautiful. The views from our room were amazing and is only a short walk to the main part of town.

Brilliantly located at the end of the Main Street in Ella this beautiful, tranquil, quirky hotel is lovely. The train decor theme is cleverly executed in the rooms and the common areas.

An absolute paradise hidden in the mountains!

We had a lovely stay at Ella Retreat. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and included a fridge, kettle, little cooktop and kitchen sink which was handy.

We came here a family of 4 and we were so happy here. The rooms are beautiful, and clean with the best view to wake up to. So peaceful and quiet and green.

We had a very nice stay at this hidden natural place. The rooms are very clean, silent, and beds are really comfortable.

Very very nice and beautiful hotels, a lot of attention has been put into everything.

I stayed at 6 different hotels in different cities in my SriLanka trip, this hotel was my favorite one.
Staff were nicest ever! Super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.

We stayed for two nights at Hideaway Trails Ella from 15th to 17th April 2026, and it was a truly wonderful experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hideaway Trails is truly a hidden gem!

The overall experience was great — the room compared to price was adequate, view was very nice :) the stuff was amazing, super friendly and helpful — they made us very nice breakfast and took us for

We had a wonderful stay at 90 Degrees Ella. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and offers beautiful views. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.

Had an amazing one-night stay at Majentra Hotel, Ella. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos, which was really nice to see.

Lovely hotel and super helpful staff! The views are beautiful and the food is amazing too.

The resort is such a beautiful place. It has the greenery environment and such gorgeous flowers. The service we got from the staff including the manager is great.

We had an amazing lunch at their valley view restaurant, what a location, weather and the quality of food and service. Highly recommended.

After a recent renovation the rooms are now bigger, modern, clean and the ki g size bed is very comfortable, only the doors need to be isolated for the noise, simple work, great return.

A decent stay overall. The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants in Ella.
However, there were a few issues.

The location is great. Great view, very quite and really short way to the Main Street (shortcut via railway tracks). The rooms are cozy and clean.

Stayed here as part of our trip to Sri Lanka and woud highly recommend!

Such a great hotel. Extremely reasonably priced and a few minutes walk from the main strip. The staff could not be more accommodating — so friendly and kind.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms, but the restaurant/bar on the rooftop is exceptional.

The best hotel ever! Genuinely the kindest staff, so friendly and welcoming.

One of my favourite stays in my Sri Lanka trip! The space is so close to the main Street of Ella but still quiet and comfortable. The room is designed really well, the staff and the host were amazing.

Our stay at Cloudy Hill Cottage was wonderful, and we’d happily stay here again.
The highlight of the property is definitely the balcony.

We loved our stay here. The lady who runs the place is really sweet and such a wonderful cook. She even arranged a surprise anniversary cake for us. The whole staff is very humble.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Levon Hotel in Ella and absolutely loved every moment of it.
The room and the view were the most beautiful we experienced during our entire stay in Sri Lanka.

Such a lovely place to stay in Ella! Its just outside the city center, which makes it a nice quiet stay.

A quality clean, quiet resort on the outskirts of Ella with great views. The meals and service are great. We asked Sashe to surprise us at meal times.

Had a pleasant stay at this resort in Ella. The room was comfortable and offered a nice view of the passing train. The owner’s brother was there to assist us throughout the day and was very helpful.
