It was lovely being in a villa. All our needs were catered to a T by the staff at the premises.

We stayed at Walaakulu Villa with my parents and my husband's parents for a relaxing family getaway, and it was a wonderful experience.

This is what dreams and made from.
Out of this world location, nested in nature on a hill overlooking the waterfall, mountains and forest. The lodge is near the city by tuk tuk drive.

We only stayed for one night so were unable to fully appreciate Ella and its surroundings, however this hotel is great. It has a lovely view, lovely atmosphere and the staff are super friendly!

We stayed at Dolape Villa in Ella to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and it was a truly wonderful experience.
The staff were very friendly, kind, and always ready to help.

Had an amazing stay at Dolape Villa! Everything was just perfect, from the tasty meals and excellent cleanliness to the beautiful view and the friendly, professional staff.

Stayed here 4 nights with my wife.
The owner is a warm man who always carries a smile. Him and his lovely family run the place.

We love Saddle Cottage! We couldn’t recommend it enough. The view is exceptional. This was our first stop on a 2 week trip and 3 nights was perfect.

Fabulous cabin above Ella.
Definitely need a tuk tuk to get you from cabin into town the road at night up to the cabin is very dark and quite steep.

We stayed three nights at the Nine Arch Wood Cabin and it was simply perfect!

Kind and helpful hosts. Clean, comfortable and silent room. Delicious dinner and breakfast. The railway is close, but not disturbing at all.

Great price-value. The hosts were very nice, friendly and welcoming. They have a beautiful garden. The train station Hell Oya it’s very close.

Location is tough to reach however is the case with most of the hotels due to the landscaping. Rooms were new and good, Mountain View was nice. Breakfast was set simple menu but fresh food.

The views! Absolutely amazing views from the cabin with Little Adams Peak to the left and Ella Rock to the right. The cabin itself was nice and clean. Good size.

An incredible place with amazing views and very friendly, attentive people. The accommodation is super cozy and very clean.

I grew to really like Ella 100 view. As others have said it’s a work in progress but there is a lot they’ve got right.
The family are very friendly and can’t do enough to help.

Nice rooms with excellent service by kindly owner. Pretty close to Ella railway station and nice restaurants. But it’s still quiet and calm here.

Great homestay. Welcoming, helpful and a brillant location. Everything you need for your time in Ella. Wonderful cooking class. Comfortable rooms. Can't recomend enough.

Spend one night over there, place is super quiet and super beautiful, you can easily join the centrum of Hella by the rail train if you don't have any vehicules.

Things that you have to know before staying in here is always bring your toiletries like shampoo, body wash, face wash a pair of sandals with you because these are the things they do not provide you

When in Ella definitely consider Tina Nature Villa to stay at. Comfortable clean rooms with great views. Lakshan is a wonderful host & went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience.

This was an amazing find! Slightly outside of Ella so it was quiet and the views of the 9 arch bridge were tremendous. Breakfast was delicious and a good price and the rooms were gorgeous.

Very gentle family and quite place nearby the town and tourist places.

The best thing about mamas cottage is the hygiene, the lady doesn't have many rooms therefore she's always cleaning and taking care of the rooms.

Great place to stay at Ella!
Room was comfortable, clean and super quite. But also really near city center.
The family that leads the Villa are super nice!

Tranquil, peaceful place in Ella mountains. Stayed here a family of 7 so had the place to ourselves. Food was great, private pools (as we had the villas to ourselves) and friendliest staff.

The view from here is magical. The foods are top notch. We got a delicious Breakfast and Dinner. You'll get a nice view of the Rawana Falls and the greeny mountains.

Clean room with quality furniture and bathrooms. Reasonable rates in Ella compare to others. Entrance path from main road is very narrow. But when enter sufficient wide for two vehicle movements.

A highly recommended place to stay if you visit Ella. Located in a convenient place not too close to the streets but not too far from them either. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

We had a wonderful stay here with our family. The balcony offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains and is the perfect place to relax, especially in the morning.

Amazing little cottage in Ella. Madu and his wife are extremely welcoming and bring a smile to your face.

I have only wonderful things to say about our stay at Ella Silloam. Priyanga was a lovely, generous and kind host.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect – close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. Our room had a beautiful view, making it a pleasure to wake up each morning.

Extremely nice family, nice cooking class possible, great breakfasts, stayed for 5 nights. Short walk into town, close enough to nice restaurants.

This is the most friendly and helpful family we have met during our stay in Ella. They genuinely care about their guests and are always attentive to what you need.

It was a very good place for a couple to stay. Very calm and clean place. They provide great service.

Just perfect, surrounded by green, quiet and very close to the centre of Ella. Excellent food prepared by the owner, a very nice woman. I recommend!
