Ella Hotels with a Pool

Quite Hotel, clean and super friendly staff. Breakfast ist amazing from customer omlets over waffles to srilankan traditional stuff everything there. Pool is great a little cold but refreshing.

We loved staying at this hotel so much that we even extended our stay by an extra night because we simply couldn’t leave. The staff were wonderful, incredibly helpful, friendly, and caring.

Unbelievable! The view is breathtaking, service incredible and food was really yummy. The gym is also amazing! The rooms are beautiful!

This is a very special hotel. It is set high up on its own tea plantation. The chalets are beautiful and luxurious and the views outstanding. It is very quiet and peaceful.

Located right at the top of the hills, this was an amazing stay! Our last stop in Sri Lanka and the best. The room was very big and had amazing views. Very clean and quiet.

Perfect location with the view on your balcony and from your room, so I stayed for a week, the family is very welcoming and kind, they have two kids but not noisy at all, you can easily walk to 9

Absolutely beautiful location, there were views from every window of our room. Comfortable bed and good amenities. All kinds of cuisine offered, but the Sri Lankan menu was standout.

My favourite hotel of the holiday. A gorgeous location right in the middle of the forest. We had amazing rooms with large windows on 2 sides so you felt like you were in the forest itself.

A fantastic homestay in Ella that we can’t recommend enough!
Initially a little worried how far it was out of the town this was no issue once we knew the short cut to walk along the railway tracks.

All around amazing homestay experience. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms (ofc on a tropical island critters are not completely avoidable), helpful family.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Ella. It is a very peaceful location with a gorgeous view of the new monastery high up on a hill. They have a tuc tuc to take you into nearby Ella centre.

Brand new facilities, nice rooms with minibar and all facilities you need. Buy the higlights were the staff, Kumara e Menaka went beyond expectation to help and assist you.

Awesome by name, awesome by nature. This is a great retreat in the mountains of Ella. Incredible views with excellent service from the staff. Last but not least… the food is the highest quality!

We really enjoyed our time here. The views were breathtaking and the staff were exceptional. They appeared to really take pride in providing a great experience for their guests.

Our stay at Guest Inn Avendra was truly unforgettable. Surrounded by nature, waking up each morning felt like living in a dream, with breathtaking views.

Amazing staff previous reviews say it all Imantha and his family go the extra mile on everything. Breakfasts are huge and delicious as was the 1 dinner we had. We could easily have stayed longer.

Out of this world location, nested in nature on a hill overlooking the waterfall, mountains and forest. The lodge is near the city by tuk tuk drive.

We only stayed for one night so were unable to fully appreciate Ella and its surroundings, however this hotel is great. It has a lovely view, lovely atmosphere and the staff are super friendly!

What an absolute gem! A wonderful room with the most fabulous view. A la carte menu instead of the standard, cold buffet fare we've had everywhere else.

The resort is such a beautiful place. It has the greenery environment and such gorgeous flowers. The service we got from the staff including the manager is great.

Had an amazing stay at Dolape Villa! Everything was just perfect, from the tasty meals and excellent cleanliness to the beautiful view and the friendly, professional staff.

Last month we had a stay for one night. I can say that my experience was superb 🤩😍. View was quite amazing😍. We can see the Ravana Waterfall from far with a nice Mountain View.

Also known as Pinnacle Hotel. We loved this hotel! An island if tranquility in the bustling town of Ella, with beautiful views, excellent food an great service. We would highly recommend it.

The views are incredible and only costed me 2000 rupees for 2 hours of pool use and a sunbed. Drinks are available too.

I honestly loved my stay at Ravana Mount View Ella. The view is something else — seeing the mountains and Ravana Falls right in front of me, especially in the morning, was just beautiful.

During our recent trip to Ella, we had the pleasure of staying at Rawana Mount View and it was truly an unforgettable experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Morning Dew in Ella!

All the staff from management to Porter were excellent. The room had beautiful views of Ella Rock, waterfall & little Adams Peak plus a Stupa for meditation.

A very lovely place I liked it so much and had a great time. Everything was clear and well organized, and the service and atmosphere were excellent.

I stayed at this hotel in Ella for three nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff is truly exceptional — warm, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.

I grew to really like Ella 100 view. As others have said it’s a work in progress but there is a lot they’ve got right.

When in Ella definitely consider Tina Nature Villa to stay at. Comfortable clean rooms with great views. Lakshan is a wonderful host & went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience.

This was an amazing find! Slightly outside of Ella so it was quiet and the views of the 9 arch bridge were tremendous. Breakfast was delicious and a good price and the rooms were gorgeous.

The hotel was part of a series that we used during the tour of the island. It was actually the first one we stayed in after our arrival in Sri Lanka.
It is located in the mountains, far from Ella.

What a view over the pool and the Gap! The rooms were clean and spacious but the hotel is showing its age in places.

One of my favorite hostels we stayed in mainly because of the location, it is a half hour walk down the train tracks to town but the walk is stunning enough that I enjoyed going back and forth.

So peaceful, the walk into Ella town takes around 40 minutes along the track but it’s a beautiful walk, and very safe. Staff are attentive and the hostel is very chill. Would definitely recommend.
