Very very nice and beautiful hotels, a lot of attention has been put into everything.

I stayed at 6 different hotels in different cities in my SriLanka trip, this hotel was my favorite one.
Staff were nicest ever! Super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.

We had a lovey night's stay at the Oak Ray as part of an overnight tour so had t chosen the hotel. We could be happier with the place.
Rooms are clean and well maintained.

The best thing about this hotel is their location which is in the heart of Ella city & their huge balcony where you can enjoy your cup of coffee.

Absolutely loved our 2-night stay at Zion View Ella Green Retreat! The location is perfect – walking distance to the centre of Ella, yet the property has a serene, away-from-it-all feeling.

Listed as three star hotel but delivers much beyond that rating.

Our stay at Anasa Wellness Resort was truly amazing. The property is beyond exceptional—beautiful, peaceful, immaculately maintained, and spotlessly clean.

Beautiful chalets overlooking misty mountains and tea plantations. Clean and well maintained to luxury standards. Delicious food both western and Srilankan.

We really enjoyed our stay at Felicity Inn. The host family is incredibly kind, and for the price you pay you get a great room, a stunning view, and excellent service.

The family is really sweet and helpfull with everything they can. We used their laudry service for 650Lkr per kilo and it came back clean and smelling really good.

We stayed with Cynthia for 4 nights, extended after our first night and enjoyed the warm welcoming atmosphere which makes you feel like home.

I had the pleasure of staying at Sunny Side Ella Bungalow, and it truly exceeded my expectations.

We stayed here 1 night after leaving our last place early, and we were so glad we picked Apurvi Homestay! The owner was so welcoming and kindly served us a late dinner after our taxi was delayed.

Initially a little worried how far it was out of the town this was no issue once we knew the short cut to walk along the railway tracks.

This was the perfect homestay, located just off the main road in Ella and ran by the kindest family.

Really nice experience in 59B! We were received with a cup of tea, breakfast (3.5$ extra cost per person) was amazing and is being served in the terrace with a nice view over the garden in-front.

The staff were absolutely lovely, you get what you pay for in terms of the room, there are 4 single beds then a bunk bed.

The family that runs this place was very kind and they are proud of their home. It’s clean and its walking distance to the center. If you stay here please be kind.

Great location by Ella train station. We were getting the 6.40am train the next morning (to Hatton for Adam’s peak) so staying here suited us perfectly.

Nani is an incredibly kind hostess, and took great care of us. The room was super clean and we had a very nice stay.

I loved my stay here and would always come back. The atmosphere is very chilled, you can see a lot of stars at night and enjoy a bonfire. Also its perfectly located, calm but close to the center.

We had initially booked another property in Ella, but it didn’t meet our expectations. While looking for alternatives, we came across Oak Ridge, Ella, and it turned out to be a great decision.

Located right at the top of the hills, this was an amazing stay! Our last stop in Sri Lanka and the best. The room was very big and had amazing views. Very clean and quiet.

We stayed at Walaakulu Villa with my parents and my husband's parents for a relaxing family getaway, and it was a wonderful experience.

This is what dreams and made from.
Out of this world location, nested in nature on a hill overlooking the waterfall, mountains and forest. The lodge is near the city by tuk tuk drive.

We only stayed for one night so were unable to fully appreciate Ella and its surroundings, however this hotel is great. It has a lovely view, lovely atmosphere and the staff are super friendly!

Our stay at Guest Inn Avendra was the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka.

We loved our two nights in Ella, largely due to Imantha and his family’s hospitality and help at Guest Inn Avendra.

Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The view is absolutely breathtaking both from breakfast area and rooftop. Laundry and taxi services available. Super chilled, excellent value for money.

We stayed there one night. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was also good. But the only thing reaching the place is really difficult.

Since I visited during the off-season, I had a very peaceful stay surrounded by bird sounds in the middle of the forest.

A lovely spot in Ella. Best not to expect luxury rooms, that's not what this place is about, and I'd say that's not what Ella is about either.

The best hostel i’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. The common rooftop area has everything you need; pool table, games, comfortable couches and chairs, and a projector for movienight!

Perched on a height above the main road, this property offers a quiet retreat while still being conveniently close to the town centre — about a 10-minute walk, or a quick tuk-tuk ride if you prefer.

Really nice place with a beautiful view, staff is really helpful and welcoming, nice room with private bathroom (private room), breakfast is good even if you have to pay to have eggs or a juice.

One of my favorite hostels we stayed in mainly because of the location, it is a half hour walk down the train tracks to town but the walk is stunning enough that I enjoyed going back and forth.

Great value hostel with parking and views. Rashmi at the reception can help with Laundry services, booking tours of Ella, and even transport to other towns.
