Close to the heart of Ella, although up a steep (but short) hill — although what isn’t in Ella?!
Our room had no aircon but did have a fan, the Wi-Fi didn’t work (logged on ok and then had a message saying the owner hadn’t paid the bill), bathroom was mouldy, no hot water, no top sheet (just a fleece throw). It was ok for the price in Ella and it seemed clean — but I personally wouldn’t go back.
What a Lovely Place. Had wonderful time during our 2 nights Stay. Mr. Ruwan who is the in charge of the property gave us a lovely Service plus he is a True Professional in Hospitality.

Booking this place costs us a lot. Both in terms of time and money. We came here only to find the reception empty for like 30-40 minutes and the whole house was surrounded by construction. It was inaccessible and the view was also blocked by construction. The worst was that despite calling the person incharge didn’t pick up. After a long journey we had to go around knowing each door in Ella for room availability. It was a mess. Booking. Com should check before putting up properties.
