Hostels in Madrid near Edificio GrassyHostel

What a wonderful place to stay. Hotel Cervelo is very well located on Atocha Street, right in downtown Madrid, and within walking distance of Plaza Mayor and many excellent restaurants.

The beds are comfortable, it just sucks that the bathroom doors can't be locked. Not so great when you're sharing the room with multiple people 😳

Really comfortable, quiet hotel.
Perfect location; right by lots of lovely places to eat, drink and see.
Would recommend and would stay again.

Great place to stay if you're on a budget.

My overall impression of this hostel is very good — super duper clean (even in the corners and under the bed! ), spacious common areas and sunlight.

I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Madrid and can’t recommend it enough. This was my second time visiting Madrid, and I've stayed at four other hotels/hostels.

I absolutely loved this place. Everything about it was perfect for our 4-day stay in early October.
Room was quite frankly huge for Europe. Beds were comfortable. AC unit worked great.

Smallish room but perfectly adequate for a few nights stay, spotlessly clean and very modern, The lady at reception was so pleasant and helpful and booked us in on arrival after giving us directions

A Peaceful Oasis Just Steps from the Sights 🏡✨
From the moment I arrived, this hostal felt less like a place to stay and more like a cozy home away from home.

Highly recommended! super close to city center, bars restaurants shops — walking distance. Close to airport, easily accessible by metro/bus. Clean rooms. Lovely receptionists.

Perfect overnight stay for a quick city break in Madrid. No view from our room, but we mostly spent time outside of the hotel.

This is a brilliantly located Hostal.
Literally 5 minutes walk to one of the many local sights.
We would normally stay in hotels and waa bit nervous of the word hostal.

For our stay in Madrid, Hostal Avenida was absolutely perfect and truly beyond expectations. A special thank you to Nicole for her exceptional hospitality, positive energy and attention.

The rooms with “superior” in the name are newly remodeled with fancy lighting and small but adequate bathrooms. The 24hr staff is friendly, and my room was cleaned every day!

Staff is really nice and helpful. The hostel is located at the hearth of madrid. The rooms are very simple but extremely clean.

Look i’m happy to recommend this place. My company had booked me in an apartment that looked amazing in the photos and didnt live up to it (and was extremely cold and uncomfortable).

Wonderful hotel from start to finish. Incredible service. Aurimar greeted us when we arrived and made me feel welcome even though I didn’t speak Spanish.

“Very nice staff and convenient location ”
We were arriving a bit early at noon but our room was ready already, which was very helpful for us to put our heavy bags.

Stayed here for three nights with a friend. The location is perfect, the staff very friendly, the room compact but clean. For the price I don’t think it can be beaten.

Pleasant accommodation in the heart of Madrid.
Good location, comfortable bed, well-equipped bathroom, keys allowing access to your room 0-24.

We stayed here in August last year and I have just realized their staff replied to my review on Booking so I thought I could share it here for everyone to see how nice they are replying to reviews.

The location is the main reason to stay, 5-8min walk from three train stops, major shopping and dozens of cheap to mid range restaurants.

The location is really great 5-10 mins from 4 train stops/lines getting in and around is super convenient.
The single room was small but clean, no fridge or water kettle.

Great location central but with cheap bars and restaurantes close by. Lovely interior to the hotel. Comfy beds and nice warm shower. Short walk to Gran Via and its tube station.

The double room was spacious with a good sized wardrobe and drawers. I found the bed very comfortable especially the pillows and got a good nights sleep.

Cool hostel, I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm. The dorm is set up nicely the beds are all in the center and each 2 get there own side of the room.

We had an exceptional experience at Bastardo. The hospitality was outstanding, and we felt truly welcomed from the moment we arrived.

I enjoyed my stay in the hostel. The location is fantastic and it's great value for money. My room was very comfortable.

I was in the hostal several times and it keeps getting better and better.

Staff excellent.
Rooms a little small for 3 people.
Location great but extremely noisy during the night.

Although the rooms are a little bit old, all the facilities are very well maintained and everywhere is super clean.

The location is perfect! Nice and quiet street and walking distance to everything. Updated rooms, nice design and with balcony. And the price is awesome! highly recommended.

Hostal Aguilar is a place I look forward to visiting again! The front desk staff went above and beyond to make my stay 100% excellent. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Location could not be better for enjoying and seeing Madrid sites and dining.

I’ll admit I was a little wary of the stay, but needed a last minute stay during a busy week in Madrid due to my Airbnb cancelling on me the day before I was set to arrive!

Standard hotel room in a great location. Clean with very good service. All in good working order. We have stayed here several times.

Very friendly, lovely place. Although we didn't speak Spanish, it wasn't a problem.

10/10 place for both professionals and youth, both for one night or more.
I went there two nights to renew my passport and hang out.
